Never been here before. Looked kinda cool from the outside. Only draw for us was that it looked like a biker bar. Since we are unicorns we had some concern. We were promptly greeted by someone at the door and seated asap. Our servers name was Jessica and she was extremely nice and took our drink and app order. The vibe inside is more Nascarish or better yet old school race track. There are a bunch of old corvettes as decoration and older car memorabilia around the room. Our apps came very fast. We ordered guac and chips and mozzarella sticks. Both were very good. The guac may have been pre made or bought but it still had good taste. For dinner we ordered the Mac n cheese burger, the lube burger, some wings and the nachos w/beef. Our food arrived fast!! Everything looked great, was hit and actually tasted good. I would definitely revisit here if given the chance.

Stopped here on 6/22/15 on the way home from the east coast. I was interested because I've never visited one before and I'm a car guy. The décor was as expected with car memorabilia and cars everywhere and the menu was encouraging. Despite the décor, I didn't like the vibe of the place. It just didn't feel inviting. There was nothing really wrong with the food but the presentation could have been much better. The "T-Bird Steak" was so lonely on its platter with no garnish whatsoever. The bartender didn't know how to make a good Manhattan and the service was indifferent, at best. The place is probably okay for wings and beer, but don't get your hopes up for anything better.

The bad reviews surprise me. If you set your expectations reasonably, this is a good place. I didn't go to La Cirque, I went to Quaker Steak & Lube. Good wings! Standard, boneless breaded and boneless grilled. Huge sauce selection. Good beer specials. Friendly staff (Melissa was great even though it was busy). I got what I expected, with reasonable prices and was very happy about it. Tip - I've been here for lunch and their lunch buffet is good too.

Just left after having a great meal of wings and an appetizer "4 way". The food was awesome and service great.

I had the cheeseburger and o-rings for dinner. Both were done just right. The server was very attentive. will be back for a meal in the future.

I would consider myself a wing expert.. I've eaten wings all over the US and know a good wing. The wings here are safe.. Nothing incredible, but nothing bad. I ordered the regular hot wings and thought they tasted great. The chicken is above average for taste, but they were delivered really fast and were room temperature. That tells me they cook them in batches and sling them in whatever sauce you want. I recommend trying them. The manager asked me how my food was and the bartender was prompt.

I remembered hearing about this place somehow despite not being from this area. Then I remembered it was on Man vs Food and the atomic wings were the challenge. They're so serious about them you have to sign a waiver to eat them. I decided to not opt into that and eat some regular old hot wings instead. The wings themselves are like any other wing you can get at a wing serving establishment. I suppose if I had gone with something different like garlicy or asian-like sauces there'd be something to write home about. I did love that I could get the wings with soft pretzels. What a great food combination! You can also opt for healthy and get grilled chicken with wing sauce on top of pita bread. But who wants to do that at a place that is notorious for wings? The decor is very amusing and typical of an American restaurant, nostalgic pictures and crude bathroom humor.

Food and service were good but the pop tasted like soap. The waitress tried getting us pop from a different machine, and then tried putting it in styrofoam cups. It still tasted like soap so badly we couldn't drink it. Still got charged for the 4 drinks.

Used to love Quaker Steak, moved away, just moved back to the area.. and it's not what I remembered. The sauces are still good, though the wings seem smaller and drier. We went in for the all you can eat buffet. We were seated, ordered, went to the buffet, and then had to wait over 5 minutes until we could get a waiter to bring us silverware! The food was ok, and then when they brought us the check we were hit with a "Mandatory 18% gratuity" on a party of 2??? Apparently it is required for the buffet, though nobody mentioned this to us when we ordered. A gratuity is at MY discretion, and based on service. My waiter forgot to bring me silverware and was slow on the drink refills. On top of that, it was a buffet!! That means I was serving myself for everything else, how does that warrant a mandatory 18% tip? It's borderline extortion.

Dry wings, inattentive service, management's resolution to poor food quality is to give you the local "hotel 10%". Not even worth talking to them about.

Although they're known for wings, I find myself ordering a burger more often than not. The Louisiana Lickers sauce is definitely worth trying though. Order the onion rings as an appetizer and they'll give you a side of the sauce. Atomic wings will ruin your night. If you try these, be sure to have shooters of ranch and bleu cheese and plenty of sugar packets on hand to help with the cool-down. Quaker Steak is a cool place with delicious sauces but small, greasy wings.

WOW - quite a few negative reviews! I will also admit that the wings have changed (and not necessarily for the better) since I was a high school student and we would head to downtown Sharon for all-you-can-eat wing night. I think it was about $7 per person back then (I think it was Tuesday nights). I don't live in Ohio anymore, but I do manage to stop by this Quaker Steak in Austintown when I'm visiting family, so maybe once or twice a year. To be honest, I still really enjoy their wings. I live in LA and I never get wings here, they're just not the same. I really like for the most part the new flavors that I've experienced there, especially the dry rubs they introduced in the past few years. I always manage to enjoy myself. It's a fun, kitchy atmosphere and they have a decent amount of beers on tap. And, at least the last time I was there they had free wi-fi, which is pretty nice for a wings restaurant.

We did not know this was a chain restaurant when we walked through the door. I was expecting the normal burger & fires place and was pleasantly surprised by the menu. I went for the fire shrimp rice bowl (see, I told you it was not your normal burger joint!). My wife had the pulled pork that came with great tasting baked beans. I would definitely drop in again when I see them on the road.

We were traveling, so as always when we go this way, we stopped here for a meal. My wife doesn't care for it, but indulges me. Sadly, they changed their wings. What they call their "jumbo wings" are now using the wings they have on their lunch buffet. They are anything but jumbo. And yet they have the audacity to say "best wings USA" on their menu. They were good at one time, but now they are terrible. We will not be setting foot in one of these places again.

Very pedestrian fare. The onion rings were tasty, but it was pretty much overshadowed by the mediocre service and the less than enticing food. If it were crazy busy, or even just busy I'd understand, but it wasn't. I guess the claim to fame is the wings, which looked great, but if that's what you excel at, then stick to what you know.

it was super busy the one time I went, which I didn't really understand because it was totally forgettable chain food, service wasn't bad and our waitress was cute and nice, but the food basically sucked. I guess there just isn't a lot to eat around here that's worth a damn.

Try the lunch buffet Mon- Fri from 11am- 2 pm. A different theme every day so call them to find out what is on the buffet first. A big selection of foods to pick from so you should find something you like.

I wanted to like this place. I thought I liked wings. What I really like is NTN trivia. If you read my reviews you know about this. Turns out I go to a wings place to play trivia. The wings here sucked, really. They did have decent beers on tap and it's a nice place inside. The host and wait staff were friendly. Now, understand, we had the AYCE buffet. This is completely against everything I believe in, but sounded like the best way to try their wings. No way. Limited selection, not very hot, people picking over my food. Call me picky, but I want the cook (and maybe the wait staff) to be the only ones who can hock in my food. Not Joe Sixpack too (wink). Anyway, the best part was when we went back for the second round at the buffet........they cleared our table, half a beer, plates, forks, etc. They did comp us a beer. So, if you're blasting down I-80 and have a hankerin' for some cold beer and a local-ish experience, with marginal wings involved, this place is the answer. If you want real wings, ask someone else. I'm realizing, I'm not the guy.

Try Chipotle BBQ wings. It's the best dry rub around. I've always had nothing but the best service when visiting. The food is ready in 10 mins or less almost all the time. If you have time to stop for lunch, Quaker has an amazing lunch buffet. Friendly staff, great service, and they have brand new flat screen TVs all over so you can watch all the games.

We love this place. Yes, it's just wings (although they have other stuff too) but if that's what you want to eat, there's no better place. My favorite is the buckeye barbeque sauce-sweet and spicy.

The wings are good but, they are over priced. The rest of the food there sucks. Probably because it has been sitting in the kitchen window for 45 minutes, due to the staff spending more time socializing than tending to there paying customers. Poor management can attributed to the problem. The only reason it is popular is because they try to aim their environment towards divorced 60 year old want to be bikers.

I normally don't review chain restaurants, but I had never eaten at a Quaker Steak & Lube before, and since we did not have a great experience, what the heck. All three of us ordered the fresh squeezed lemonade. It was essentially water with lemon. Barely sweet, a faint lemon taste. Not worth over $2.00. We decided on the buffet, but it was not spectacular. Wings were ok...no better and no worse than other places. I don't understand what all the hype is about. Oh, and our server was less than excited to be there.

This is such a great place. I grew up in Hermitage and would frequent the Lube for all kinds of activities they had. Food is great and summer time is a blast every day down there

Reasonable pricing which is accompanied by mostly average food. Wings are usually room-temperature and are good, yet not the best I've had.

Ate here for lunch today, good as usual. I absolutely love the Buck-Eye BBQ sauce. I eat at a few different wing places across the USA, these folks are one of my favorites. Been dining at Quaker Steak in this area for more than 18 years, while on business in the area. Recall going to the Sharon location, when it was the only one. Recently (last year?) they opened one in Waco, TX. It wasn't the same ... and I have noticed it has closed since.
