Are you friggin kiddin me? Of course, chipotle is an amazing Mexican cuisine. However this review reflects the poor service that this specific location has offered me this evening. First and foremost, 40 minute wait! Like, give me a break please. Also refer to the first question of this review. Also, what in the heck am I supposed to do for 40 minutes? I only have a couple buddies I can text. And on a night like tonight I'm sure they're hanging out with their girlfriends ( I'm sure they're going bowling or something) So what am I suppose to do? Put my 2 hands in my back pockets??

Great food as usual. But food is served very slow so there will be a huge line anytime you go....

Worst chipotle location. I've been a loyal chipotle customer for years and this location is terrible. Always so busy and probably because their staff is inefficient. The last several times I was there, they had to restart my order twice because the employee wasn't listening to me. Just a waste of my time and the others waiting in line behind me. Also when I get home to open my burrito, it literally falls apart. Customer service and quality is poor. I would rather drive a couple more minutes to another location than waste my time or money here.

No, It's not authentic Mexican food, but yes it is good food. It's basically a Subway type place for Mexican-style food Pick what you want, taco, burrito, etc and build it according to your tastes. I visited this particular location when traveling for work - and had a craving since I frequent Chipotle when I'm back home. This Chipotle met my expectations just fine.

You know what Chipotle's like. Just wanted to mention that if you're looking for one in the area, I'd go with the one on 306 in Mentor rather than this one. The Willoughby location seems to have longer lines, slower service and poorer food prep. (The rice is usually very heavy and wet.)

Normally, this Chipotle is pretty good. Tonight, however... Servers were cheap with the salsa. When I got my carnitas (pork) burrito bol home, I found the meat was 75% fat. It was inedible and absolutely horrible. Disgusting, even. Definitely NOT good eats. Not sure if I'll go back to this location, as there's a location within a couple of miles that has always been good.

I stopped by this location after placing an order online and was pleasantly surprised with the level of service. It's the first Chipotle I've been in where they make your order in the back and have it prepared at pick up.. I'm used to them waiting until I arrive then making It down the line with the rest.. Otherwise it's a normal chipotle.. The line was wrapped around the store when we arrived so it was nice to grab my order and go!

I don't know what this place is supposed to be. It's either a cafeteria for Lake West or for South High, but it's not for the rest of us. The hospital fatties email their mega orders and the poor employees rush to make 50 burrito bowls with extra cheese and sour cream. Meanwhile the rest of us chumps wait in line, blowing 20 minutes of our lunch break. Our only consolation is the hard beans, stringy cold chicken, and the opportunity to enjoy our lunch on the bird poop covered 'patio' outdoors. I have never eaten at a more sorry place since I last ate at Rally's. Why does every place in Lake County suck so much?

SLOWEST Chipotle I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing :( We are BIG time Chipotle eaters... I am talking at the least, once a week. Yes, it's safe to say we are addicted. Chipotle is one of the only allergy friendly places our family enjoys so it's safe to say its a staple in our home. We have recently moved to the area and were looking for a new go-to Chipotle location. Unfortunately, after THREE of the exact same experiences, it's safe to say we WON'T be back to this location! Every.Single.Time we went there, the line is INSANELY long. Tonight, I literally waited in line for THIRTY FIVE MINUTES. No joke, ya'll. I could of went to a sit-down restaurant for that. There was TWO girls working the line, TWO. Their attitudes matched their super slow service.... rude and acted like a chip was on their shoulders. No pun intended. This restaurant is not up to Chipotle standards... home office needs to fix this place. Get more employees on the line! And your lines wouldn't be so long to where people leave b/c they're sick of waiting. Your employees may not be so grumpy if you hired more help and stopped overworking them. Not to mention... the place was so dirty and unkept. Very disappointed. We'll be taking our big bucks we spend at Chipotle to another location. Bad job Euclid Ave. UPDATE - After contacting corporate regarding our poor experience.... the garbage of this Chipotle continues. Corporate was very kind and tried to earn my business back with some free meals to try this Chipotle again. Unfortunately, our return experience was even worse than the previous ones. We waited in a shorter line than before but it took 30 min to get through the line. Then, the worker, won't let me use my free meal tickets from corporate. She first scans one and says "sorry, this one has already been used". WTF? Its brand new. And proceeds to throw it away. Then scans the second one and says, well, I can only use one in a transaction so you will just be getting one free. Wow. Seriously? Unbelievable Euclid Ave....will NEVER be back. You give Chipotle a bad name!

Consistently slow service. Always a dirty restraunt. Was once served a bug with my meal. Was promised by cooperate that there would be change. Came back to more of the same slow discourteous service and a dirty restaurant.

This Chipotke was actually straight up closed until further notice today! "Equipment failure" yeah right. PLEASE FIX MY LOCAL CHIPOTLE, CHIPOTLE! I hope when they re-open they "return to the days of their youthful vigor"

I used to knock Chipotle and say things like, "But Que Tal is soooo much better!" Well, Que Tal went bye bye and Chipotle has taken over the world. I was never fond of the idea that they were partly owned by McDonald's. Now, I guess they're not. Which is cool, ya know? Also? I watch Oprah. I DVR her everyday (STFU). She had the Founder of Chipotle, Steve Ells, on her show and they talked about how everything they use is organic. Even the meatses! The piggies get to run around and be piggies before they're turned into your precious Barbacoa. Cool! The chickens get to run and peck and play before they're in your tacos y burritos. Supposedly, 65% of the beef is naturally raised instead of the 100% that I'd like to see - bummer. I don't eat the cow there anyway. There was no mention of the fact that their burritos are so high in calories that they're more than enough for two meals - but that's alright. We're fat in America and we want to keep it that way. Om nom nom.

Great place for lunch. Enormous burritos. Great quality of food. Cheap and quick. Who doesn't love Chipotle? Yummmm.

I absolutely love Chipotle. I've never had a bad meal here. They are fast, friendly and the food is always delicious. I always get the chicken bowl and it's always enough for two meals. For the price, the freshness and yumminess, you can't beat Chipotle.

Have not been here in a while. Now I understand why.Line compares to waiting in line at Disney World they know how to take the fast out of fast food. Can see why they have a help wanted sign on door. Help behind counter looked as miserable as those of us waiting in line. For what ...a burrito bowl with beef that was a notch below anything at Taco Bell. Only had large drinks and at least two of the fountain dispensers where out. The franchise police need to shut Willoughby down and start over. I actually saw people walking up to the door and turning around. That is what I should have done

This use to be one of my favorite locations, however my last two visits have helped me decide to go elsewhere for a burrito bowl. The wait time (30-40) is too long for take out and the portions are really small. I had to ask for extra rice during my last two trips. They were out of brown rice and there were slim pickings on the veggies. Some of the female workers aren't friendly and rush you through the line barely putting the requested items into my bowl. I'm going to make the extra 10 minute drive and go the Mentor location for my next visit.

The service here is absurd! I ordered through the iPhone app to help expedite and work around my prior slow experiences, but that didn't help! I ordered an hour before my pick up time to help give this group time to make two burritos, but apparently that wasn't enough. When I arrived on time to pick up my food I was basically called a liar And told that I was too early to pick up and to wait 20 more minutes. When I showed them the confirmation email validating my pick up time, I just got a snide remark from the staff as she continued to ignore me and help others. It wasn't until I threatened to leave and not pay for my meal, was I taken seriously and provided food. I considered speaking to a manager but judging on the filth on every table and no napkins or utensils to be found, I didn't even want to waste my time. That made a statement that if there was a "leader" on duty, It wasn't someone I would have wanted to speak to. This experience, among others, will make this visit my last at this location!

Waited 30 minutes in line and went elsewhere. Serious slowness issue. They need to have more people working here as this is ridiculous.

We've been standing in line for 10 minutes now, and the only reason the line moved is because people left to go somewhere else. The garbage cans are overflowing with trash and the tables are dirty. Many of the workers look overwhelmed. I don't think I've ever witnessed such disarray at a Chipotle before. Oh wait, hold on. Line is moving. More people left!

This location is horribly inefficient and the staff seems to work at half the speed of most other Chipotle locations. C'mon get it together, quit the chit chatting between one another and serve the long line of customers that has spilled onto the sidewalk outside!

My daughter and her friends travel 40 minutes one way just for Chipotle at least once a week. I think that speaks volumes. Fantastic food!!

gotta love the chipotle. brown/black burrito bowl with dbl chicken. calories can addup quickly (check chipotlefan.com for a calorie counter). Lines can be long but they are incrediblby efficient. Restrooms are my only gripe as I believe if the restrooms are clean, the kitchen is clean and vice versa. They need some attention I am afraid. Overall don't go nutso with the cheese and sour cream and you have a decent fresh meal. I avoid the pork as it always appears a little fatty to me.

The Chipotle in Willoughby is terrible. I went there yesterday with my family as a treat which we do not do often and it was very disappointing. We waited in line for about 40 minutes. They were out of chips and black beans which we always get. We had to wait on brown rice for a while. The lady put the 1/2 scoop that was left in our burrito bowl and was going to add fresh to it. It looked hard and gross. You should at least give us all fresh specially waiting so long. In the middle of us telling her our order she stops us and takes care of another order that was called in. She gives them lots of meat and full burrito bowl. Ours was barely full and even when I said something about it she did nothing and acted like she didn't care. The restaurant was very dirty. There was splattered food everywhere behind the counter. The workers had gloves on but were cross contaminating with them and not changing them. The one lady was rubbing her fingers in between the cracks of the counter and than touching food after. We will not be coming to that Chipotle again. I had bad experiences in the past also there but thought that they might have changed after being shut down do to health inspection and food poisoning.

For some reason the online ordering system doesn't flow as smoothly here as it does at other locations. Meaning, if they tell you your food will be ready at noon you'll still have to wait 10 minutes after you arrive on time to pick it up. That's really my only complaint, everything else was up to par.

Just not good. "Can I have steak?" None left "do you know when there will be more "uhhh noo "well could you ask" (dead pan stare).

I did the online order for dinner and was there on time. I had to wait 20 minutes to get my food. The employee who was at the cash register told the people making the food that I was waiting for my order and the lady yelled, 'they will just have to wait!' It was so rude. I will never come to this location again. The food was okay but not worth the rude encounter or the long wait time. It was ridiculous.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
