Great place to have a casual dinner with family. The salads are good. I haven't had a bad experience with the food however the service was really slow this past time but friendly and apologetic. I'd reccomend this place.

There's a boat on the roof; how could it not be good? Great seafood. In fact, probably some of the best you can get in NW Ohio. There's nothing exotic or anything that pushes your culinary experience. You get a lot of food for the price too. A 4 fillet fried perch sandwich with fries comes with a dinner salad. Also had mussels, cooked in a tasty garlic juice. Others had prime rib, which they said was great. Again, this isn't going to wow you. It's just like the kind of good, laid back seafood restaurant you'd find on body of water.

They have a great menu and prime rib. Fish is dope, too. But nothing beats the garlic pasta for me. They haven't quite gotten a handle on timing take-out orders, though, some of the food is hot, some cold. And learning to devein a shrimp would probably be helpful also... Gag.

My wife and I have been going to Shucker's for several years and have never been disappointed. It is amazing that there is such a good seafood restaurant in Swanton, OH!

I've driven by Shucker's probably a hundred times in my life, and always thought it looked like a cool place to eat. But it wasn't until visit my parents last week that we actually ate here. Upon walking in, we were transported to the sea. The ambiance is kitschy but works so well. And the food is really the star of the show. My parents both ordered the special (pork chops) and I the fish basket. The pork was perfectly cook, amazingly moist and arguably one of the best chops I've ever had. Seriously, that good! My fish was also good but the fries were far larger than I would care for. Still, an amazing value for the amount of food you get. When I go back to NW Ohio next year, we will definitely be going back.

We ordered the garlic pasta with lobster and when we got it the lobster tasted really different. We almost thought it was imitation crab. We asked the waitress about it who got the manager for us. We questioned her about the lobster and she said it was a mixture of imitation crab and imitation lobster! I asked her how in the world they could serve that BC that is really gross and the menu never said it was imitation! She said, oh I couldn't eat it either! That is beyond disgusting! She all but refused to refund the extra $6 for the lobster and offered to redo the dish and put shrimp on it instead. They brought out the shrimp pasta (which they charged full price for BTW) and by this time we were just tired and ready to leave. We didn't even take it with us because it wasn't much better. How in the world can they advertise lobster when it's nothing more than imitation processed junk?!? And then the manager went back to the waitress to ask her if she was the one who told us the lobster was imitation. The waitress proceeded to tell her that she didn't even know it was! We are never going back and are highly disappointed we spent $65 on processed garbage!

My husband and I both had beef entrees which were pretty good. The crab cake appetizer had imitation crab in it, which was weird. The service was excellent! Don't order the garlic pasta, it was swimming in oil - yuck! The prime rib was really good!

We went here to celebrate my dads birthday. I felt the food was only so so. It was very pricey for the quality. I don't think I would miss it if I never went back. I've had better tasting and quality sea food from Red Lobster to tell the truth. A lot less pricey. The inside of the place is too crowded with tables and chairs. One can hardly adjust their seat without feeling like they are right on top of the table next to you. The service was slow and they weren't even busy. Their deep fried green beans were good though. The portions weren't that impressive for the price either. Not my favorite by any means.

Food is good. It's a little expensive. Great location. Staff rocks! They do have great weekly specials and the prime rib is excellent.

It's a seafood restaurant in the middle of a small farming community in the middle of nowhere. You can order the seafood at your own risk. Me, I eat anything because I like all food and have been blessed with an iron stomach that never feels the ill affects of anything. That said, I never have a problem when I come here and slam some fried fish. The place is clean and the people who run it are nice, and they serve huge portions of fried fish. How can you go wrong??? Enjoy Suckas'!!!
