Not a bad place, I think it gets lost behind hooters ( hooters is a stink hole and always dirty ) I live one block down from Rib City it is always clean, and the wait staff are always friendly. and I find it easy to go grab a pound of whatever I'm in the mood for. easy and fast.

I'm giving 1 star because 0 isn't an option. Appetizer and salad arrived at same time. Entree arrived 3-4 minutes later. By the time we ate appetizer and salad, the entree was cold. Has to wait ten minutes for drink refills. Everything the server did was in a rush. We felt as though she was just trying to get us to hurry and clear the booth. We will not make the mistake of occupying space in Rib City again.

Decent. I was here late like 45 min before closing. The manager was there, seated me and even check on me after my meal arrived to see if I needed anything- good touch! I had ribs and shaved pork. Ribs were decent, shaved pork yuck. Coleslaw was good. Not sure I would go back, just too many other choices out there, but pretty decent little place all in all........

These ribs are awesome and as far as I'm concerned everything is great !!! Wednesday is quarter beer night and this food is so good and Mike is a great guy he catered our wedding !!! And if you come in you can see us on the wall !!!

Defiantly not a bad place i'm not certain it's the best iv'e ever had we had baby back ribs and loaded fries and it was pretty good... one down fall the waitress must have forgot to put our kid's order in so it came a few mins late. Atmosphere was quite not a very busy sunday night and the restaurant had a nice appeal.

can't say i was too impressed. +1 for seating our party of 5 immediately +1 for plenty of seating +1 for letting us pull the table next to us to avoid being so crowded +1 for a decent number of menu options. +1 for having a bunch of lunch specials between $6 and $9. +1 for quickly serving our food. 5 of us had eaten and were gone in just over 30 minutes. +0 for decent "pork plate" lunch special. not much pork at all. small portions. +1 for good garlic bread. +0 for decent fries. very plain. +0 for decent sauces. the sweet sauce was typical, and the other brown sauce was pretty good. nothing to call home about. +0 for fair baked beans. -1 for aloof service. our waitress was nice but pretty distracted. recommended with reservation. it's good for BBQ around here, but there's another BBQ place down the street you might like better...

Seriously the best BBQ restaurant style food we've EVER had. I'm always disappointed in smoQ, City BBQ, and Smokey Bones, but never here! There are a wide variety of things for you to try and the staff is always friendly! We never wait long on our food. I recommend the Texas cheese fries as an appetizer and the Feast for 2! You can share the feast between a couple like we did and you get to try a little of everything! Their sauces are excellent, we always leave with a bottle to take home! A must try!

I visited here recently for lunch on a Friday. I was a little worried when I entered the facility because no one was here at 12:30. This was my first visit. I was greeted by a friendly lady and took a seat at the bar. I ordered a combo platter of ribs and pork at the recommendation of the server. It came with baked beans and cole slaw. The ribs were very tender and the sauces provided were excellent. I enjoyed the sweet bbq sauce and the carolina vinegar. The pork was just okay. The beans and slaw were nothing special and the portion sizes were average to small. Cincinnati has a general lacking for good bbq and this place still doesn't fill the need for a great place. It gets 3 stars because it is good for Cincinnati, but if you compared it to good, southern bbq it would get 1 and a half stars.

I really can't understand some of the 3 star reviews. Rib City is excellent. I can't eat a lot of pork, so I always get the chicken dinner, but every time we go to Rib City( which we live in Wilmington and don't get to Cincy very often ) but when we do, we make it our treat to eat at Rib City. Like I say, I don't eat a lot of pork , but I nibble a bit of my boyfriends and the ribs are the best I've ever had. Falling off the bone tender, as is my chicken. Their baked beans are heavenly and sweet and the potato salad ( which I always get ) is truly Southern Style, without the overpowering of Vinegar. Service is Excellent. The manager is hands on, always seems to be there the times that we go. He always makes a point to check on the patrons. Oh, forgot ! The Fried Okra!! What other restaurant this side of the Mason Dixon has fried Okra? ( That's the Mason Dixon LINE, not Mason Ohio ;-) .... Anywho... Love me some Rib City... You should Go!

Used a certificate similar to Groupon to purchase a deal for Rib City a while back and used it with no issue, and no complaints. The restrictions on the bottom of the certificate state, "A maximum of one certificate may be redeemed per person, per visit, per table". Taking this to mean a limit of one certificate per person, per table, we bought another and suggested to another couple that they should also purchase one, and we could all go there together for dinner, each couple using one certificate. I had a feeling I should confirm with the restaurant that this would not be an issue, and upon calling, the manager said only one certifcate per table (NOT PERSON), PER DAY. The manager was unwilling to adhere to the restrictions I am sure they agreed upon with the company setting up the certificates ( cincysavers.com ), and flat out told us he would not honor two certificates at one table. It seems the manager just goes by whatever rules he feels like. We had to let our friends know that they would not be able to use the certificate they had already purchased, thus forcing them to cancel going with us. The food is pretty good and fairly priced, however as a customer who has purchased a certificate with the understanding that the restrictions stated should be correct, this was a huge issue. Glad we called ahead of time instead of learning about this after we had eaten and it was time to pay the bill!!
