Stopped here on a drive across Ohio. Hasn't been reviewed recently so I thought someone should. It did not disappoint. I ordered the rueben, mac & cheese and their homemade summer salad. Everything was excellent. We'll worth it to stop here!

50s style shiny steel diner. I had 3 dinners and a breakfast here while in town on business. The menu is a bit limited with burgers, sandwiches, steaks, chicken, and fish, as well as breakfast and dessert, but everything was well done. The young women staffing the place were typically pretty attentive. It is the best full service restaurant I found in the county, and it is pretty popular.

Love this place! Grew up eating here and will continue to visit while I'm home :) they have a breakfast special Monday-Friday until 11am that includes coffee eggs toast bacon or sausage and potatoes! Some of my favorite things are Leann's homemade cream pies (coconut or peanut butter), cheesy potato soup, burgers, grilled chicken salad, mozzarella cheese sticks, onion rings... It's all so good! This diner has about 14 tables plus a bar and usually 2 to 3 servers. Plays music from the 50s. They also have hand dipped milkshakes! And homemade blackberry cobbler! They are usually slammed on the weekends and lunch hour but in my opinion it's worth the wait.

Loved it. I bet it could be zany if it got crowded, but it's a classic diner with meatloaf for a special and homemade pie.

Looks cool, food is tasteless. Service is really OK. Food took 20+ mins. Place looks neat though. Idea: grab your camera, stand out front and grab a picture.

The diner itself is fun to look at, but the omelette I had was blah, the hash browns were greasy, my wife's chicken tenders were dry, and the service was slow -- although it WAS very friendly. The burgers looked pretty good, I wish I had gotten that instead. I've only visited the one time, so take this for what it's worth...

Charming 50's diner. Why arent there more of these left? Friendly staff and yummy food! Eat at the counter or a booth. We both ordered the Reuben and split an order of chili cheese fries. Nothing left on any plate! My sweet tea was perfect. The pies look phenomenal but we were both too full... next time! Nice menu, check out the daily special! Good prices.

Way, way out in the country sits a shiny, aluminum diner from the 1950s. The waitresses call you "sweetie" with a southern accent, and you can get anything on the menu at any time of day. Plus, everything on the menu is under $10.00. Cruisers is full of blue collared charm. The menu lists endless items of home cookin' from meatloaf to country fried chicken, hamburgers, double deckers, and of course, breakfast. I had #1 Breakfast Special, which was two eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast, and a side of pancakes. The food was incredible for a diner. Everything is made to order and made from scratch. Cruisers borders an Amish community, so there are plenty of fresh ingredients brought in. The pancakes were the highlight of the meal. They tasted special, like they had a hint of almond and nutmeg in them. Delicious. Our table also had a Farmer's Omelette, with ham, cheddar, onions and green peppers, plus a country fried steak with mashed potatoes. A neighboring table also ordered the meatloaf sandwich, which looked incredible. Everything was devoured and we all left with clean plates. As for the service, it could have been better. The food took a really long time to come out, particularly for diner food. Yes, it's made from scratch, but it's also eggs and bacon. We waited over a half hour for our food. When the orders arrived, the waitress brought us someone else's order. Then she came back with the correct food. Almost. My #1 Breakfast Special (which was also the daily special) didn't arrived with hashbrowns or toast. Upon mentioning it to the waitress, she said that my order didn't include those. I remembered reading it on the menu, so I showed her the text. "Oh, but you ordered the #2." No. I ordered the daily special. I'm not sure how that got mixed up. The waitress went to bring out the missing food, but it was another 15 minute wait until the hashbrowns showed up. No toast. Our table had finished eating by the time it arrived, so I just let the missing toast go. Like I said, the food was amazing, but the service bumped this down to three-stars. Price per person: $10.00

This classic diner from the 1950s has a fun atmosphere, from the moment you drive up to this little shiny aluminum restaurant. The walls have the endless classic ads and posters to peruse. The menu gives you anything you could ask fro in a diner-- frid chicken, burgers, breakfast, steak, everything was affordable. Though everything was under $10, a lot of things (like burgers) were a la carte, and you have to order sides seperately. My husband and I got burgers-- and they were HUGE. Juicy, flavorful, pretty good. Onion rings were divine. Service was quite slow, but we were in no rush. That's why we were headed out to Adams county-- to slow down a little and just enjoy wandering around. Be prepared for a slow meal, but it does serve decent diner food, and you would enjoy your food with a lot of locals.

Cruiser's Diner is a true classic diner. I visited here on the eve of destruction, aka 12/21/2012. Wow what a great diner. The food in and of itself it just what you would expect from any diner, however it was perfect for what a diner does. I ordered eggs and sausage and quite honestly it was the best sausage ever. So much so I asked them where they got it from. I was told they could not answer but it was DELICIOUS. It figures that due to my health, I no longer eat meat. anyway...Cruisers was awesome. Great food, great atmosphere. Perhaps someday ill be back to try out some plant food.

Service was SLOW!!!! Waited 10 minutes for salad, watched as our meals sat in the window for another 10 minutes before another server brought us our food. My steak was nothing but gristle and fat, mother-in-laws baked potato was half cooked and cold. My husband ordered the country-fried steak----it was small, needed a magnifying glass to find the gravy. Asked for more gravy- it also sat in the window for 5 min and had to ask for it. I took a taste of it and it was PURE salt!!!! Our server was more interested in other things and not taking care of customers. Will NEVER go there again!!!

50'diner do you recognize this? What a bonus to remember the 50's . Burger and fries. The first bite is burger alone because it is bigger than the bun and twice as thick as any other burger Crispy fries while listening to old bebop music Worth a step off the road in southern Ohio No room for pie but they look delish

Stopped in for a burger, chicken sandwich and fries and a half hour later the burnt and cold food was delivered. Don't waste your money.
