So we went to this place and it wasn't what I expected. Basically a bar with a few tables. But the food. It was soooo good. We got two different kinds of wings. Hot and Thai peanut both very good. We also got burgers and onion rings. I would recommend this to anyone.

This little bar is located INSIDE the Sandusky bar as a heads up. Though it's divey its actually pretty great. We stopped by around 10 pm as it seemed to be one of the only places still open! We sat at the bar, the Bartender we had was very friendly and chill, you can tell he talks to a lot of tourists and people who come here for Cedar Point. He can give tips and advice about the area based on your interests. Unfortunately I don't remember his name... The food is surprisingly really good. Wings are 60 cents on Mondays so we got a heaping order of that. The spicy is really not too spicy so don't be afraid of "hot". I've never had hot wings that actually manage to deliver on both crispiness and sauce smothering! Probably some of the best wings I've ever had! And to think I found it in Ohio! I also got a grilled cheese, and you just can't do wrong there! Oh and as any good sports bar should, they have plennnttyy of TVs!

Hard to find but worth it. Very small bar but the service was awesome and food was surprisingly good. Cheap in comparison to some of the other restaurants in the area. You can bring kids but with pub tables, little ones are going to be a challenge.

Cheers Sports Bar & Grill is the place to be on every day of the week. The food is spectacular, the drinks are perfect, the atmosphere is nice, the place is clean, as well as they have 14 TV's, a pool table, a digital juke box, and gambling games including: Keno, and anything to do with the state lottery. They have the perfect location of being inside the Sandusky Mall while having their separate entrance. While the mall closes at 9 PM, Cheers closes at 2:30 AM. THIS PLACE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think this location is affiliated with the official "Cheers" bar chain, although they used the logo. Located inside the Sandusky Mall, we were off-put by the small and neglected interior -- first impressions indicate that it's a dive. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the service and the food. The menu had a lot to choose from and they seem to have some really interesting wing sauces. Our dinners took a long time to come out, even though the place wasn't crowded. But that was okay since I wasn't really in a hurry and the food was worth the wait. A lot of thought was put into plating my chicken breast salad (which I found really surprising given the looks of the restaurant.) The bartender, who doubled as our server (and appeared to be the owner or manager) couldn't have been more polite. I've been to tons of places with poor customer service these past few weeks, but I was pleasantly surprised by this find. Strongly suggest.

For starters, let me say I rate places relative to what they are. This is a bar in a mall, it's not Chez Francois in Vermilion and doesn't pretend to be. That having been said, Cheers is very good. The reason is the folks that work there really care about customer service and quality food. I was in for lunch one day and got to talking with the owner and another one of the cooks (yes the owner cooks, good sign.). We talked about food, and it was apparent they really enjoyed their jobs. Tabitha was my bartender the last few times and she is wonderful. The wings I got the other day were just ok but everything else I've had there was very good.

Came in with high hopes. First the place is in the Sandusky Mall and is a bit hard to find. Menu is somewhat limited. Prices were reasonable. Service was very slow.

Met up with an old friend today for lunch and went to cheers for a drink and a sandwich. I have never been here before and I want to go back soon. The bar is really nice and has some TVs for sports and good music. The bartender was really nice and the food was just to die for. They had a great variety of beer and their prices for food were perfect. I ordered the Philly cheesesake and it was absolutely to die for. The fries were so tasty and what made me so happy was that they put banana peppers on my Philly and that blew me away. I never had banana peppers on a Philly and it hit the spot.

If I were a local I wouldn't leave this place! The bartender was super friendly and the food was really good. They played awesome rock music and showed the football games on their tv's.

I just thought a 5 star review was WAAAAAAY to good of a review for this place. I mean it's a cool place. But it's a bar in the mall. It's small and has really small TV'S. Workers are super friendly.

I finally gave this bar another shot after being turned off years ago by bad service and a pretentious staff. I'm happy to say that they definitely got it under control and it's become a favorite stop of mine! The bar staff is great and the food is tasty and well executed for bar food. They offer a variety of specials every night of the week and have one of the best rated beer coolers around. The choices are endless!
