Been eating at jades for over 15 years. Always good food for a great price. And you can call in your order for take out. I think they have the best Chinese food in town.

It's been about 3 weeks since I had lunch at Jade's. Thinking back, the main thing that stands out was the funeral home silence in their dining room. For some reason or another, their music was turned way down. What I could hear though, were the details of one lady's OB-GYN visit, the particulars about another woman's new uber hairy boyfriend and finally there was the troop of school teachers who really sounded like they needed to get on their summer hiatus - stat. Ugh, and none of these folks were sitting all that close to me either. But enough about the free entertainment. I started off with their Hot and Sour Soup. I ate it but that's all I remember about it. The Chow Mein was bland, even for Cantonese, and reminded me of a plateful of La Choy with an extra big pile of crispy noodles IE filler.... Can you feel my lack of enthusiasm here? Even the decent service just couldn't make up for this. I also noticed that the lobby fish tank had really brackish yellow water with some really sickly looking fish in it. It was pretty nasty looking and it made me wonder what the non-public areas looked like. "Meh, I've experienced better"? Yup.

First time ever going here, got take out. I ordered a egg roll, dumplings, and wonton soup. I received fried wontons instead of dumplings. The wonton soup was horrible, it was wontons sitting in water pretty much. Won't be going back.

7 WORDS - Best Chinese Food Until you Reach Hilliard A SUNNY BUT CRISP EVENING IN EARLY OCTOBER I am embarking on rating the best and worst of Reynoldsburg's food options, and one of the first has to be Jade's - and that's because it's one of the best Chinese places in Columbus until you get to Columbus' version of Chinatown over in the Bethel Road Area. We ordered carry-out directly at the cashier stand. Our order came to 2050, and that included General Tso's, Wor Sue Gai, and two egg rolls. So, that's just a little steep, yeah but the taste is good - in fact, this little bodega has been in this very spot for 40 years while several other popular Reynoldsburg Chinese restaurants have come and gone - most likely victims to this place. We were promised 15 minutes, so we returned to the car and listened to the radio for about ten minutes. When we returned to the counter, it was all wrapped up and ready to go. So, we took it home and, of course, we ate. The Wor Sue Gai is above par for this regularly bland dish of fried chicken, lettuce, and a yellow sauce. The chicken was moist on the inside and crispy but not tough on the outside. The sauce was normal and nothing out of the ordinary. My friend's General Tso's was chewy but not brittle or tough, like General Tso's can sometimes be. The sauce was not too hot or two sugary, either. Because they didn't overdo the sugar/molasses, the syrup reduction wasn't gloppy or thick - it was just thick enough to coat and saturate the rice, yet thick enough to also stay on the chicken. It was, the best General Tso's I've had since I ate in this old shop in Marion, Ohio, and before that, at the Chinatown in Las Vegas. That's pretty decent, right? Well - I haven't even mentioned those egg rolls.... They are smaller than most egg rolls, sure, but they taste homemade (although I have never confirmed this) - they have a crispy but not thick shell that has the lightest hint of cinnamon. The veggies inside are crisp and tangy and there is the slightest hint of the vegetable oil they cook these egg rolls in - Like I said, a little small, but the best non-spring roll I can remember having. So, if you go to Reynoldsburg, there is definitely one stop that matters the most: Jade's Chinese. And like Edith Ann said 40 years ago. "...That's the Truth. :p Phlbtt"

Treated one of my nieces family to a Christmas diner oriental style last night. The food was great with large portions. The price was good too. Jades has had several owners over the years but continues to do a great job. Lots of flavor in their food. The service was good. I'll always come back as long as they quality stays as it is now.

Jade's has been a family favorite since I was a child and now I'm happily sharing it with our children. We had Jade's tonight and everything was delicious as always, and they're going to deliver to us next time! We're customers for life.

Jade has made me enjoy Chinese food again. This place is so clean and the people are so nice and the food is always presented beautifully. The table sweet and sour sauce is delicious and the dumplings sauce is amazing. We have had honey chicken, general tsos and chicken lo mien all of which is delicious. When it comes to lo mien I have only had it on buffets and some I think is okay and some I don't like. However Jades is outstanding. Their dumplings are the best I've ever had. It's an older long standing restaurant and it may not be open on Christian holidays as most so check before you assume. Too bad thee aren't more places like Jade. Thanks for serving such wonderful meals consistently delicious.

Standard Americanized chinese food. The hot and sour soup stood out as pretty good. The rest was bland, no big flavors to be had :(
