Diabetics at Whataburger

Diabetics need to be a bit cautious while dining at Whataburger. Almost every burger is rich in sodium content and it is highly recommended to keep your burger cravings in control while dining at Whataburger. However, you can always satisfy your cravings for a burger by choosing Whataburger Jr. or other non-burger items from the menu.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for Diabetics:

A diabetic should resist from ordering any extra meat-based burger such as Double Meat Whataburger or Triple Meat Whataburger to limit the sodium intake and calories. Most burgers except the Whataburger Jr. are high in sodium and hence should be avoided.

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. New management! This used to be the worst BK around; I have been there twice since reopening and have no complaints! Breezed through the drive thru and got the correct order! Would recommend this BK to those looking for Burger King type food.

I'd leave no stars if possible. This is the worst BK I've ever visited. And that's a pretty poor group to be number one. Every employee of this place should be fired and sterilized so their incredible ignorance isn't allowed to to propagate. Go a 1/4 mile down the road to any other fast food establishment and get actual service.

Ordered my son chicken nuggets and fries at the drive thru. Get to the window, pay, and wait. I listed to about 4 women talking trash about some girl...who I think also works there. A man came from the grill area, hitting the drive thru girl and said "what the f***?!" They just stared at me for a minute, then he said he was 'just going to close the window'. No apology, nothing. I had no idea what to even say to my children. This location has consistently had sub-par standards and ethical work practices. We now drive further down the road to Wendy's.

I wish there was an option for zero stars because I'd give it. Though this establishment is open 24hrs the service sucks big time. I've gone and have had my order wrong even when there was no line. How is that possible? I'm not sure how they're hiring such incompetent people but that whole place needs to be revamped. The food is ok for fast food it's simply the bad service.

Went through the drive-thru to try out the 10 piece chicken nuggets they are running for $1.49. Great deal right? Wrong! They were nasty, and not even worth 50¢! Ill give 2 stars because the onion rings were good.

  • Vincent M.

All the things I could say about this place. I give it two stars rather than one because the food is edible and resembles Burger King food. The service is un-believably slow and careless. Whenever I feel like torturing myself, I go here. It is near my house, so I do frequent with the understanding that it will be terrible service. The drive thru is hopeless, only go through it if you have an hour to kill (doesn't matter if there isn't anyone in line, it'll still take forever); however, going inside really isn't any better. I don't mind if the order takes a little bit of time if the restaurant is assuring that everything is right, but that isn't the case here. They are so slow and so apathetic to your very existence, you kind of just feel like a ghost observing people move in slow motion. So, if you want BK, and have a bit of choice on which one to go to, go to the one on Main St... I have had pretty good (quick) service there and the

This location is the worst business in general I've ever been to, I'll never go back. It's common practice for then to get even the simplest order wrong. The associates are poorly trained and by their attitude they could care less. But even the management is poorly trained and lacking in even the basic customer service skills. Save yourself the head ache and don't even go here.

This Burger King is in a fantastic location. Unfortunately the food is not that great. The fries seem to always be cold or undercooked. I love getting Burger King for breakfast, but due to the dinner time food being so sub-par I am too scared to see how they would under cook breakfast. Do yourself a favor and skip this one- it is a bust.

The worst BK in the city!! Terrible service, slow, rude, NEVER correct order, and ghetto!!!

  • Lizzy S.

I have been here twice now and will never return. I couldn't understand what I was hearing thru the drive thru microphone and had to ask three or four times what was being said. Then after I placed my order....or thought I did....a different voice comes on and asks if she can take my order. Whatever. I waited in that line FOREVER both times and each time I got the WRONG FOOD. First time, I didn't notice till we got home and it was too late. Last time, which was yesterday, I checked and then parked and went in to get it corrected. The place was empty and the employees were just goofing off, despite a long line of cars in the drive thru. I was not offered an apology. Just had my order fixed and shoved at me. Oh....when I was leaving to get back on my car, a female employee with a headset on practically knocked me over on the sidewalk while she screamed at her boyfriend who was sitting in a car in the lot. Classy. The managers/owners should be appalled at how their employees behave and the quality of their work.

This is a 24 hour Burger King. I know this because there are literally 15 signs out front telling me so. I think they want you to know they are 24 hours because when you're drunk or high or pregnant, or some combination thereof, at 3am you don't care how bad the food is or how bad the service is as long as you get your greasy, disgusting, cheap food. They have a drive through line that is wide enough for your car and your car alone. This is important to know because when you get in this line and it turns out that it's going to take the folks inside 10 minutes to make your crap-tasting burger and 10 minutes for each of the other 5 people in front of you, you cannot back up or drive around the other people in line to go elsewhere. You're stuck in that line until you get to the window. It took us something like 12 minutes to get to the window at 10:30 in the morning. Nothing at Burger King is worth waiting 12 minutes for. Hell, after 5 minutes they should be paying me to sit in that hellacious line. When we did get to the window the girl inside would ask us a question, quietly (she must have been one of those soft-talkers) and then let the window close while we tried to answer her. She did this three times without getting our answer and then she just gave up with the window and with her question. She was kind enough to give us the correct drinks but the wrong food. Yes, we only have ourselves to blame for going to Burger King in the first place but in my defense I had no idea that it would be as bad as it was. Also, the food was gross but that's to be expected I guess.

Have attempted to eat at this BK three time in the last month. The first time for breakfast & the food was cold and part of my order was wrong (wrong breakfast sandwich). Second time I went for lunch and was given the wrong order through the drive thru, which I didn't discover until I got home. Last time was also for lunch & I ordered the Western BBQ burger meal. Checked order before I left and it was correct, yay! I guess 1 for 3 ain't bad huh? My best advice, check your order before pulling away if you go here.

Placed an order for a whopper meal and whopper jr. Then waited 15 mins while the 8 people working did nothing. About 3 other people got their food ahead of me. Asked for my money back and left. They hired some real winners here. Must be on a work release program

We went to get dinner on May 12th at around 8:45pm. Went up to the door and it was locked but the drive through was moving. We couldn't figure out what was going on. Finally a manager came out and asked if we were there to pick up "Zack." We said no and she told us that the lobby was closed because there was only her and one other person there but we could go through the drive through. We decided we would do that since it was getting late. We ordered four sandwiches, two sodas, and two icees. We go to get our food and the other person in the restaurant is double checking our order...the manager looks at them and says "it is right...it always looks funny when they don't get fries." We pull ou,t double check our orde,r and realize we are missing a sandwich. We pull back in the drive through to tell them. They say..."stay in line and we will get it for you." We drive around they have to ask us what was the sandwich again at the window. The other person gets our sandwich and puts it in a bag. The manager tells this person "would you please leave and get off my labor?" Made us realize they were short staffed because they didn't want to pay an employee to be there and didn't care that they are putting their customers out. We end up driving home to eat and when we get the sandwhiches we realize that one of them was not what we ordered. We will not be going back as this is not the first time our order was not correct and the management does not care.
