I have been really into smoothies lately so I was happy to find this place right by my work. I go into find all three employees on their phones. I give them my order and the girl at the register takes my card. The only reason I even gave this place 2 stars is for the actually smoothie, it was good. The three people behind the counter seemed beyond miserable. When I walked in there was no "hello" or greeting or any kind. Then while one of the other girls beyond then counter started making my smoothie the other two were right back to their phones. Not only was it really awkward but very rude and annoying. Needless to say I paid got my smoothie and left with obviously no "goodbye". I know these kids are probably only working part time but they should not be working with the public! I'll have to find a better smoothie place, where the people aren't as cold as the employees.

I have been meaning to try this place for a while. I was looking for protein drinks that would be quick & easy for early morning after that workout. So, I stopped in here a couple times. The place has never really been all that busy as folks are usually rushing into the caffeine stop right next door. They do open their doors at 6:30 a.m. during the week. Service has been okay. Folks have been prompt, courteous and professional. As I had never been to a Planet Smoothie before, they encouraged me to take my time to look over their menu options. My first time I ordered a Planet Pro Lite with my choice of 2 fruits. They offer several different fresh fruit options to pick from. I was impressed with the selection. I choose this smoothie because it comes with 25 grams of protein ( as opposed to the non-Lite version that offered 40 grams). I ordered it medium size. Honestly, I did not like the smoothie. The medium size was way too big - 22 ounces. I probably would have drank all of it, if it was not for the "Lite". It was definitely made with an artificial sweetener. There was anything that noted ingredients (not even their web site). I assumed lite was because of reduced protein. The sweetener after taste was so strong that I only drank about a quarter of the drink and then threw the rest away. Okay --- so their "lite" versions are artificially sweetened. My second trip I ordered a small Mr. Mongo. It only has 12 grams of protein, (less than I would have liked), but gave it a try. After placing my order, I saw the person spray several squirts of an Acai sweetener into the drink. This one was more natural tasting, but slightly sweeter than I would have liked. I'm not sure why they feel they have to do the additives to their smoothies. Prices were very reasonable. In both cases, their smoothies were not very satisfying for my tastes. Their menu options don't mention anything about a "build your own" option. I am not sure whether they offer it, but seeing how they make their smoothies it would be my preferred choice.

Great smoothies! Very good, and depending on who is working, or how busy it is, it can be an incredibly quick in-and-out! Price is pretty good, too! Definitely get your money's worth, good smoothie with good powder additives. I love coming here in the mornings before a work shift or after a workout. Only complaint I have is that the service isn't necessarily very friendly. They're made up of mostly teenagers who don't seem to have any interest in being friendly. They aren't rude or anything, they just stay on their phones for quite some time, and chat amongst themselves, only noticing customers when taking their order. All in all, I like this place a lot! I wish they were open later!

Smoothies are great except the employees there are all teenagers who are rude and shouldn't be there working. Every time I am there the kids are always on their phones and don't acknowledge you until they're done doing what they were doing on their phones. I've sent complaints to their website because the employees there refuse to give me the manager's information but no response from the website as well. Horrible customer service that's for sure.

I was craving a smoothie and all i wanted was for someone to make me one. So I went to Planet Smoothie. Two teenagers were working, probably each under 18, and they treated me like a lady despite my crazed smoothie craving. I'm pretty sure all their smoothies are very formulated and you can't really mess them up. I got something fruity and it was delicious (and slightly overpriced).
