Spring Street Treats may not be much to look at, but it's got tasty ice cream and a lot of heart. They do soft serve with your basic vanilla, chocolate, twist, or special flavor of the week, plus lots of more elaborate creations with sauces, toppings, and mix-ins. They are closed in the winter, but in the summer it's a great place to stop in, get ice cream, and sit at their outdoor picnic benches, where they also have an impressive selection of lawn games ready to play. The owner, too, is a really sweet guy who's a pleasure to chat with. When my wife and I stop in here on dog walks, he'll always notice our dog outside and give me a dog biscuit to take back to him.
