In the land of pizza, we were happy to find some Chinese food within a short drive from Mosquito Lake State Park. Not too far south of 82, the restaurant is easy to get to. We were greeted quickly and seated in the dining room. There are plenty of booths and tables to accommodate a decent crowd. We were there on a Saturday afternoon so it was pretty quiet. Our order was taken and food arrived very quickly. We both are fans of General Tso's chicken so we both got the same thing. It's nice that they ask how hot you want the dish so there are no surprises and you can burn your mouth off if you so choose. Large portions and delicious and well presented food. Service was quick and courteous. Two entrees for less than $20 and we had leftovers to take with us. Definitely recommended.

I've heard lots about this place we ordered tonight but I didn't find anything that made it stand out more than the ordinary

Excellent food. We had steamed mini dumplings and 4 lunch specials. The lunch specials came with choice of soup or salad (go with the soup), white or fried rice, and two crab rangoons. We enjoyed sweet and sour chicken, shrimp lo mein, orange chicken and General Taos chicken. The last two were wonderfully spicy. The wonton soup was delicious. Don't pass this place up.

The absolute definition of perfection. I have traveled the country and have not come across Chinese food as special this. I can't stress enough how important this restaurant is in the lexicon of Chinese food. I ordered the General Tso's chicken and asked them to make it as spicy as they can manage. There was no disappointment to be found.

Best Chinese in the Mid-West. I live in Columbus now and there really isn't anything that's as good. It's sooooooooo good.

This is by far the absolute best chinese restaurant we have ever been to. It has become a mandatory weekly meal of us. Once you eat their versions of the traditional dishes, they will be the basis of comparison for every other place you ever go to. They're the best. My personal favorite is the scezhuan chicken, very spicy please! Their Gen Tsao's chicken is amazing as well. Service is very fast, and there's a very nice fish tank in the dining room to enjoy. It's not a very well-known place unless you're from the Niles area, but it's a total diamond in the rough.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
