I have eaten at Persis Indian Grill several times but only during lunch and only carryout. Thus my review is not impacted by what most folks on here seem to dislike - the service. I have found the lunch staff to be extremely kind and courteous. It takes about 15-20 minutes to receive your food after ordering which seems normal for this cuisine. I usually order the chicken tikka masala or saag paneer and OH MY GOD THIS SHIT IS SO DELICIOUS. Seriously eat this food it will blow your mind. I just did. And my mind is blown. I would upload pictures but guess what I ALREADY ATE EVERYTHING. And if I didn't already love this place they topped themselves today by including a FREE COMPLIMENTARY DESSERT in my order. WHAT?!?!?! WHO DOES THAT?!?!?!? Persis Indian Grill that's who. 5 out of 5 stars. Will eat again. But not for at least a few hours I'm so goddamn full right now.

Taste: excellent and good quality and good portion. Service: big letoff. All of the servers were just watching and talking over phone. Expected much better service for the fame persis have. Suggestions: the briyani can be served in a better bowl. It was tough picking up from the one provided. Tables are very small for 3 people.

I like the fish fry, egg bonda here. Garlic Naan and goat curry are also great. One of the best Indian restaurant in this place. Biriyani is dum biriyani style, the rice is too dry for me. It wasn't fluffy so I didn't like it that much.

Authentic and awesome! So glad to have such a great Indian restaurant nearby again. Chicken Biryani was delicious, as well as palak paneer. Owner very friendly as well! Can't wait to try additional dishes.

The service is a bit slow. The goat was over cooked in the biryani, but the chicken biryani was really good.

Persies serves really good indian food, especially the biryani. Appetizers were good too, with spicy level as requested. We went in a group of 10 adults and 6 kids, and their service was great. I would certainly pay a visit again.

Went here on a Friday night with the crew. The service was quite slow, which was kinda interesting because the place was empty. The waitresses hung out by the bar the whole night instead of attending to us. As for the food, it was just ok. I ordered the egg biryani which was just the veggie biryani with two eggs on top. My friend got the goat biryani which was inedible because of the the dryness. The strange thing about the biryani was how sticky it was. We could have rolled it into a ball and threw it to the ceiling, and it probably would have stuck. Overall the flavor was alright but we couldn't overlook these glaring shortcomings. 2.5 stars.

This is not the review that i am giving out based on my one of my visit to Persis, this is based on my number of visits to this place: I would like to start with positives first Pros: By far the "Best Biryani you will get in Dayton" Some of the entrees i have tried serves the purpose I have tried their Desserts: Mango Lassi, custard which are also good Service is good & friendly Clean Place, well maintained Cons: Even though the Biryani is best it fluctuates sometimes, sometimes its fresh & tasty and some times the rice in the biryani and also pieces will be very dry which tastes bland and looks like this is definitely not fresh. If there are 2 or more orders of Biryani try to give extra raitha and salan as it will be sufficient for biryani dont charge for extra raitha and salan which i havent seen in any place i have been in US, i am not asking to give 3 or 4 extra raitha's and salan!!!!! I am a big fan of biryani and would definitely would like to come again but My only suggestion is kindly maintain Biryani quality fresh so that it will have a positive feel instead of making us think whether it will be fresh or not. I will change my rating to 5 stars if you maintain the Biryani quality

Food is the Best!!! Service is too slow. They dont tell you how long ur food is going to take. All girls just stand by the counter on their cell phones. I was there on Mothers day and one of the staff member dropped our drinks. She was so stressed and kept apologizing. We switched our table and sat there for an hour before our food came out. No one cared. I almost got up and left. No one cared. The food is amazing! Hats off to the Chef!!! Service SUCKS!! 3 stars to food only

Food was delicious! Had the chicken tikka masala and was so much better than most indian restaurants around. The service was really great and the dining area is bright and modern.
