I don't usually do fast food, but after hearing about this place, I decided to give it a shot. The burgers where really good. I had a little bacon cheeseburger. I was impressed! I also had some cajun fries with my burger, they were very good and they give you a TON of them! Me and my husband split a regular size fry, and we couldn't finish them. Fast and friendly service as well.

This place makes really awesome burgers. Sure, they are really fattening and might cause a heart attack if you eat there every week, but we only go in a few times a year so don't have to worry about dying. You can add as many topping as you want free of charge and the burger is wrapped in foil so everything is nice a melty. Even though most people love the fries (they give you a huge portion) I personally find them a little bland and so oily that they saturate the bag they come in. A different side option would be nice. The drink machine is the best I've ever seen at a fast food place. There were so many drink options. I'm so glad there's a Five Guys in Maumee so I don't have to drive down to Perrysburg every time I want a good burger.

The fries are some of the best locally that I have had, for both the make, (they fresh cut and fry them in peanut oil) volume, and price. You get a lot for a little. Service was ok, but not great.

Greasy, sloppy burgers. Better than that arches place, of course, so is dog food -- does that make it a 4-star lunch? Meh.

Having been to other locations of Five Guys, I was definitely looking forward to trying the new one closest to home. Five Guys is great for what it is: a very small menu, quality ingredients, and customizable items. The burger was hot and the meat was fresh. I agree with some other people in saying the bun is too chewy. I would also like if Five Guys added more (or some) seasoning to their meat. It has great texture and grease to meat ratio, but is a little lacking in flavor. The highlight was probably the fries. They were hot, crispy and plentiful. I like that the restaurant uses fresh-cut potatoes which their drive-thru counterparts simply can't match.

The burgers are DELICIOUS and the Bacon Cheese Hotdog is pretty good so I hear. I definitely recommend the Cajun fries. A neat thing to notice are the free peanuts and it lists where they got "todays" potatoes from. For anyone into neat gadgets they have those new pop machines that it mixes the flavors for you on the spot. A cool thing to eat in and take your kid. I really don't think a "fast food" option gets better than this for quality. A Must try!
