Nastiest Chipotle location I've ever seen. I've been to Chipotle locations in several other states, and I stopped in because I was staying at one of the nearby hotels, and figured I knew what I'd be getting. In terms of cleanliness, and general atmosphere, it was lacking. The first sight that greeted me was the door below the drink station, wide open, blocking the way for patrons trying to make an easy egress. No employees were working there, and nobody seemed to notice that it was an eyesore, an inconvenience and perhaps even a potential hazard. As a previous poster said, the food pans were fairly empty. I realize this happens, but a) it was not a busy time and b) there was no sense of urgency to fill them. Heck, even in the land of manana, New Mexico, where I live, the pans are refilled promptly when they run out. Finally, the food prep counter was a mess. Lots of spills, and other items that the crew had set down there. Never seen that, either. The service was OK, but not up to the friendly standards I've seen in other places. What gives with this place?

LIne out the door again, music so loud you can't talk to the person next to you. 8 people behind the counter, 4 are working. Place looks like nobody has cleaned the tables in hours. Nothing more sickening than seeing employees with nose rings and such serving food.

I dunno. . This Chipotle is lacking somehow, in speed of service and effficiency, but it's the only one nearby so we endure the long lines and do our best to keep hanger at bay.. I'm not sure I have ever experienced a Chipotle with only one register. It just seems like you could get people in and out faster if you had two cashiers.. just sayin'.

Food is consistently sub par! I ALWAYS have to drive to another location instead of this one. Their salsas are never made correct. The staff is rude and the portion sizes are smaller. Save your aggrevation, money and time... Visit another location.

Stopped in to this location last night as a pre-new year meal and was thoroughly unimpressed. I've stopped here once before only to find that they were closed for some reason. No sign was posted and it was during regular business hours. But about this trip: The line wasn't that long and there weren't many people dining in, but when we got to the front of the line, somehow all the food bins were just about empty . The crew seemed annoyed to have been tasked with the apparently insufferable job of dishing up our food and took it out on us with sulky pouting and general apathy. The portions were woefully small, leaving my dining companion and I underwhelmed as we made our way to a table. There was not a table in the place that wasn't sprinkled with the detritus of other people's food. If I had to judge by how taxing they made it seem to slop a teaspoon of rice onto a burrito, they probably didn't have the energy slide a towel across a table or sweep up the rapidly growing pile of trash on the floor. I am familiar enough with Chipotle to understand that it's relatively no-frills, but even with the bar set that low, this location managed to bomb.

This location has gone downhill in terms of service (friendliness) and food quality. I have been here several times this year and almost every time the food has been cold. The service has also not been the friendliest. I go to other Chipotles in the area so I believe I have a good benchmark on which to judge the quality of these restaurants. Sorry Mason!

We have been eating at this location for approximately 6 years and the last four months have been slow. We usually order online and pick up, the orders are literally never ready, haven't been started, with no apologies. They are inconsistent and the staff has had a lot of turnover recently. Maybe that has something to do with it. We have had a small and simple tradition of eating chipotle on Thursdays and have decided to not eat there anymore unless we are dining in with no other commitments after. We've tried the VOA location with similar results. This is their new standard.

Price is good. The speed is pretty fast and the corporate ethos is worthy of standing behind. Not sure how anyone could dislike them. Burritos can be super high in calories but just get a bowl with no dairy and you're under 600 calories.

Probably the worst chipotle I've ever been to. Mainly because of the disgusting bathroom which looks like it hasn't been cleaned in at least a month but the crew definitely does not have the friendly attitude that you find it most chipotles. The other reason for the low score is they were definitely stingy on the portions here. Most locations are usually quite generous but not this one. The only reason I gave it two stars is the food did taste quite good and the quality level of the food was high

So, I have been at this location twice now that I work in Mason and I am highly disappointed. After experiencing the Fountain Place location for 2 years I thought anything must be better than that but NO. This location is awful when it comes to portions/skimping. The first time, one scoop of rice. The second time, I can't get extra cheese and the guy with the butterfly tattoo on his neck just smirks at me behind the counter. I have NEVER had a problem at ANY Chipotle getting extra cheese. I spend my hard earned money at Chipotle I should get a good portion of food. The employees are not friendly and genuinely seem like they do not want to be there or wait on you. I will never come back to this location and will give Qudoba my business when hungry for mexican.

OMG...this chipotle location is S..L..O..W..!!!! The staff is in no hurry to serve you even with a line that ran all the way to the door. Go to another chipotle location!

Ok, so it's Chipotle, you know what you're getting, and you're excited about it. I've come to expect a pretty high level of quick friendly service. Why 2 stars? Warm Milk Not taking coupons/gift cards and not posting it up front. I swung into this location to pick up lunch for myself and a friend. I was stoked because I had a buy-one-get one coupon in my wallet, and a fresh-from-the-holidays gift card, so I was going to walk out this place with lunch for two with no cash out of my wallet. I waited in the lengthy lunch line (what Chipotle doesn't have one?), was treated great while my burritos were made, and then got to the check out. While waiting, another customer, who was dining in, came in front of me to explain to the cashier that her child's milk was not cold. I quickly looked at the cooler behind the register, and it was clear that it wasn't functioning. The outward facing thermometer clearly maxed out in the 'red zone.' The employees seemed to handle the situation just fine, but, shouldn't that have been noticed at some point before the child was drinking the milk? While that was being addressed, my order was rung out. After it was totaled, I handed them my coupon (I have used similar coupons at other locations in the city with no issues) and the employee informed me that they couldn't accept it. I looked at her really confused and asked for an explanation. She said that 'since the New Year, their equipment wasn't working properly.' So, that doubled what I had planed to pay. I handed her my gift card, and that wasn't accepted either! I paid, for both and left a bit miffed. I would hope that these issues are momentary, but at a place like this where I'm going to spend time in line, informing/adjusting customers expectations would be helpful. I'd be more likely to keep driving to the next Chipotle location next time.

Food is very good and fast once you order. There is usually a long line though. Large, generous portions. Wide variety of non alcoholic beverages and some beers. Staff were friendly. More expensive than places like Taco Bell but worth the price. They only offer one flavor of salad dressing though.

Worst Chipotle, it's 2:30 in the afternoon and tables are dirty, there's no ice, feels like it's 80 degrees and the service is substandard. I had to ask for extra everything because they were trying to skimp. Heaven forbid you give me a whole spoonful of sour cream. Going to the one across from Kings Island, way better service. Get it together Chipotle.

Chipotle has become a go to for many people and rightly so. I was in the area and needed a burrito bowl fix. The noise created behind the counter made it really hard for the line to hear me and twice I had to repeat my order for them to hear me. (Would it kill the Chipotle architects to include some kind of acoustic treatments (or carpet???!!) to dampen some of the noise?) Sorry for the "old man rant", but noise is noise. The food was nice and while I was charged for extra meat when all I really wanted was a slightly larger than the table spoon serving, it's no big deal. I can get two meals out of the bowl, so whatever. If I recall, the outdoor patio did have umbrellas on the table, which if you are crazy enough to eat out in the mid day sun, would shield some of those nasty sun rays that burn pasty dudes like myself to a crisp. They seemed to be lacking a sufficient supply of the Chipotle/Tabasco sauce which has become a necessity for a perfect burrito bowl experience. Fortunately, I was able to scrounge some up and liberally douse my food. Yum.

Long line at lunch time, but it moved quickly. Burrito was sloppily rolled which made for messier than usual eating and there was way too much sour cream, but overall still consistent with other Chipotle burritos in taste. Despite the long line, no problems finding an open table (seemingly lots of to-go orders here at lunch).

uhh this Chipotle is the worst in Cincinnati. I understand new hires and they take a little to warm up - i mean this guy was taking one strand of cheese at a time and putting in on the bowl - just take a handful like EVERYONE else does and put it on the dang bowl!!! - call in orders are such a mess here - they stop what they are doing for the call ins - i get it they used that option but that doesn't mean you cant hold up everything on else on line - i was 3 in line to the counter - i waited 36 minutes until i finally could order - one online order would come in then they would start to help the ppl in line - then boom another online order - they then stopped and started on the online order - and of course didn't apologize or anything. THERE IS A YOUNG WHITE LADY THAT ALWAYS HAS A TURBIN LOOKING THING ON HER HEAD - TALK ABOUT POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - SHE DOESN'T SMILE DOESN'T SAY HELLO - DOESN'T PAY ATTENTION - IT IS RIDICULOUS!! EITHER STEP UP YOUR GAME OR HAVE THEM BUILD A NEW CHIPOTLE ON FIELDS ERTEL OR SOMETHING!

It was so unkempt, I left. I've never been to a Chipotle as dirty as this place. Their preparation area and their food serving area were dirty. Further, there were several tables that were not cleaned. I couldn't see myself eating here because of the poor conditions. I was actually surprised because Chipotle's are usually very clean.

Food line: They had 7 people on the line here and its not that busy, at the beginning of the line the lady did not ask if we wanted it 'for here' or 'to-go' and just gave us to-go containers. Dining area: The tables and floor were messy and 2 of the soda-pop dispensers were out of syrup. When there was a lull in the line the employees were just standing around behind the counter and no one came to clean. The food: I ordered a veggie burrito, it tasted good, one side of it fell apart. Also got chips and guac, there were lots of good fresh chips and the guac was really good too. Bathroom: There was garbage all over the floor and no toilet paper.

Line moves very quick. If you get double chicken make sure they give it to you. Their double chicken is the worst portion (this location). Otherwise it's Chipotle.

This Chipotle is OK. The service was really quick. The line was huge when I got there for lunch, but I made it back with plenty of time to spare. They don't seem as generous with the rice as most Chipotle's I've been to, but they made up for it by being extra generous with the meat. It might just be me, but I miss the limes Chipotle used to have. Like everyone else, this place just has lemon. The food was what you'd expect from Chipotle, as was the atmosphere.

They USED to be good. Now they put too much salt on their meat. Too little rice. The line always back up.

Great food and quick service! Restaurant is usually pretty clean and the staff are friendly. Only bad part about this place is at lunchtime during the week and the lack of seating. I don't know why they make them so small. But for carryout it's great!

I love Chipotle. I have food allergies so it is easy for me to get something hot, quickly and be able to avoid things I can't eat. I usually only get rice, steak and tomatoes. Te brown rice is awesome, btw! Sometimes they do charge me less because I only get three line items and sometimes they don't. Please get consistent. This location is ridiculously busy though so the line can get to the door and the tables, if you can find an empty one, it might be dirty. I almost always get it to go. Much easier.

Longest line I've ever been in at Chipotle! See pic. Business must be good. Actually waited under 5 min to get to front. Not too bad for fresh food. Watched an interview with the CEO on Jim Cramer's Mad Money and they are working on faster wait times so it will get better. Everyone friendly so that makes it better too. Food is always great but packs some serious calories even though low fat in many ways so do the bowl!

I normally love chipotle, but the last time I was there the rice and meat and bean were cold. Went back and got tacos for my boss and she asked why is it cold. You pay that kind of money I expect my food to be warm or hot not taste like it came out of the fridge

Best in the burbs. Burritos and such. Little patio outside which is ok in the summer as long as you like looking at the parking lot.

Superb Chipotle! Haven't had it for 5 years and had to settle for Moe's but Chipotle is as good as I remember. Had the Barbacoa and it was nice with a hint of spicy.

Overall it is a good restaurant. The food is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. Avoid the lunch rush if you like to get a regular size serving.....they tend to be skimpy during the lunch rush. Make sure to try the salad dressing on your burrito bowl....sounds weird but it's awesome!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
