This place is just awesome! Great servers, food is reasonable and great. The atmosphere is inviting and a great mix of people. Friendly, family oriented and the bartenders are very attentive and well trained. Its almost like going to CHEERS where everone knows your name. You won't be sorry!

Decided to get take out as we are new in town and still settling in. The staff was friendly on the phone and in person. The food did not take long and was very good. Good local sports bar with good food.

My Mom and I stopped by after an afternoon of shopping at Kohl's nearby. We wanted a sit down restaurant and we were surprised for this being a sports bar on the huge variety of items they had on their menu. Appetizers, flatbreads, burgers, wraps, sliders & salads. It took a while to make a decision, our server was very friendly, helped us decide on items, since there was so much to choose. I went with her recommendation of buffalo chicken wrap with blue cheese dressing and my Mom selected a classic burger with saratoga chips. Our food arrived hot and fresh a few minutes later & wow the burger was huge - 8oz! My wrap was good, the blue cheese dressing was homemade with lots of chunks! Our server checked on us several times and its worth a trip to Maineville to Putters Sports Grill.

YUM YUM YUM. You just can't beat their Bavarian hot ham and cheese. It comes on a pretzel bun. Oh yeah, and don't forget the sweet potato fries. Absolutely delicious!

You will not be without a TV to watch at Putters Sports Grill. We were blown away not only by the amount of TVs in this place, but also the all around value that you get on their food. Almost all menu items were fairly priced and we thought they tasted great. Jim had the chipotle chicken wrap. It was a good, although he recommends getting the sauce on the side as the wrap seemed smothered. The veggies (broccoli, squash, green beans) that we subbed had plenty of flavor and were a great (healthy!) addition to the meal. Tiffany had the California chicken wrap. The wasabi ranch dipping sauce that came with it gave it a nice kick...it tasted kind of like wasabi peas that you can get from a Chinese grocery store! She ordered their Saratoga chips, which came with warm BBQ sauce. They had a nice crunch, weren't too salty, and we both enjoyed snacking on them. The bottom line - this place was a great find and a nice value. Our total bill was under $20 with waters for two dinners. Our food also came out super fast; we were done in about 30-45 minutes!

One of our favorite sports bars. Food is always good and service with a smile. They do get very busy on Friday nights and weekends. Family friendly too.

eh, everyone has a large tv at home. i can't think of a single reason to go back to this place. i gave it a second shot thinking that maybe just maybe it was a very off accordance the first time. nope. i am editing this to add to it as a reply to the person who responded below. i commented on the TVs as that seems to be a common theme with the positive reviews. the wings at putters were anemic at best. small and unexciting would be a more proper description. the salmon sandwich was so overcooked that the poor fish tasted more like a pink sawdust. i joined yelp to give praise to two pretty amazing places, one here in mason and the other in woodstock il. while at it i figured that this site is not here only for the positive reviews. my experiences at putters have warranted a no return policy and this 1 star review.

Can't go wrong with Putters. Quality bar food at fairly good prices. Last time we went I had a tough time choosing what I wanted because everything sounded good! With this location right up the street, I anticipate future visits (dine in or carry out)! A word of caution, but a fairly obvious one - the service leave a little to be desired especially during peak times. We sat for 5 minutes before someone took our drink order. To their credit, they were PACKED that night. Thumbs up, go check them out if you're in the area!

definitely can't go wrong with this place great drinks good food and company. It's basically you typical sports bar but in my opinion better service and quality of food! Every time we go Jon gets a burger he swears by them. Can't wait to go back!

Great place to watch a game and the food is excellent. Great service and tons of tvs. We watched the soccer game and had a great meal. The chips were fantastic. Couldn't ask for a better place to watch sports and the kids would love it too.

I really enjoy going here, wither its for a few drinks or for dinner. The staff is always real friendly and there always seems to be a good atmoshpere, good enough to take your kids during the day and a hot date at night.

Was FAST Food and really good. I'm not from here so I came cause someone recommended it. Had the Hawaii 5-0 burguer and my friend the grilled chicken salad. We both gave the food 5 starts. Also the sever was friendly and like I said, took care of us very fast. Portions are good size ;-)

I've been here dozens of times and Jody at the bar is awesome. The food is great, I recommend their wraps, burgers and salads. The kitchen really seems to know what they are doing and the one time they messed up in all these years, the manager made things right and my entree was free. Service is above average, but like any restaurant there can be turnover and a few bad apples.

I met my friend at the bar and not only did we have to wave our arms to get service and it wasn't crowded, but we had to get a menu from another guest and then wave our arms again to order because the two girl bartenders just kept walking by and only waiting on the men. We actually had to get a guy next to us to order beer for us because they wouldn't stop. then when we finally got our tab and paid, just dollar bills were returned with no change or a receipt. So I asked for a receipt, and she came back with the receipt and said fine you can have your $.17! Unbelievably poor service. I have no idea where that came from and would not recommend this to any female who's going out on her own or with a friend just to go out and have a fun time and have a beer. steer clear.

I love how this restaurant is great for kids, couples, family, and elders. Their chicken tenders are must-try! Especially dunked in your choice of chicken wing sauce. I recommend Caribbean Jerk. The thing about this restaurant is that they change their menu too often. When I go back to a restaurant wanting to try the same good stuff, finding out it's not on the menu any more is a very disappointing feeling. It happened quite a bit at this restaurant to me. I was also disappointed with their beer quality. I enjoy dark beer, especially black and tan, but I will never order anything with Guinness at Putters since it tasted old and flat last time when I was there.

Love this place! Great food, good beer, and great atmosphere. I recommend the wings and nachos! Everything that I've ever ordered here was good. I would like to try to whole menu! I will keep coming back! Great place and close to home.

Summary: Waited 25 minutes on a Friday night for a seat. I didn't think that was really the end of the world, it's the weekend ! They're doing something right based on the large crowds. After sitting down, we waited 10 minutes for a server. We ordered water, waited 8 minutes for that. Wait another 5 minutes for server to come back to take our order. Wait 35 minutes for food. Waited another 10 minutes for the french fry portion of our order. Fortunately I had cash so I didn't have to wait to get the check paid. Get it? The service is sssllooowwwww, not even because they were busy. I heard every table within earshot commenting about how long it was taking, and how they were missing this or that. Some people were letting the servers have it. On the plus side, the food was fantastic ! They were some of the best wings I've ever had. I'll definitely go back, but maybe on a Tuesday and cross my fingers that it's not too crowded. (and hope they have enough staff to accommodate) While we waited, I puttered around farting.

I counted 40 televisions but may have missed a few, I had fish and chips... Fish was over cooked or undercooked or old. It was extremely firm but chewy at the same time. Everything else was good though. Server was good. Every time I'm there it's full of middle aged to older people but there's usually atleast 1 drunk loud football fan. Average sports bar, decent service, ok to good food.

Went to lunch on a Saturday. I would have ordered a 2nd drink but I was forgotten by my server who spent her time visibly hanging out with other employees and off-duty employees who were there as customers. I was even waited on by another employee who was not distinguishable any of the customers who came in to watch football and drink beer. The sausage corn chowder lacked any flavor whatsoever, and the ground sausage was pinkish. I don't think it was undercooked but it was completely unappetizing. The fried pickles were actually very good. I will give Putters one more try and order a more signature dish, but not off to a good start.

Beer! Decent food but nothing to ride home about. Typical bar food. Wings are so so. French Onion soup was good.

As Jason writes below, go for the flat panel tv's and drinks. Skip it for the food and service.

Great local pub. Good beer selection with local crafts, food is standard pub fare but with a nice flare - unusual burgers. Wings are some of the best in the area - much better than the chains. Talented musicians play on Thurs thru Sat. We just visited on a Thurs evening and were thoroughly entertained by Christian - so talented.

A pretty typical strip mall sports bar. Friends were having a party there, and we had a big room off to one side. Staff were helpful. The place was great for a get-together like that. Everybody had a good time. We only stayed for a bit, but I would go again.

DJ Segundo sucks !!! He's a karaoke hog who sings all night and rarely let's anyone else sing. Plus the service sucks, even when there's hardly anyone in there. We came here for my girlfriend's bday party and won't be back Drinks are also too expensive

Casual local joint with decent food. Music on weekends usually and tends to get crowded.

What can I say about Putters. It's a sports bar and a typical one at that. I've always enjoyed whatever I ordered. It's pub food you know? It's guilty pleasure central. Also---best pretzels and queso ever! They have quite a few beers on tap and a lot of drinks on tap. The service is hit or miss. Their burgers and wings are the most popular items on the menu and some of their best items.

  • Kristen C.

Putters has great food as always, we love it but the staff seems to be consistently terrible. This time and all the times before: We never get refills or a smiling face or any friendly service at all. That terrible staff diminish the appeal of such good food and we don't go nearly as often as we would if they had great service. We'll probably be back eventually when we crave the fried pickles and a juicy burger bad enough to endure the rude waitresses and hostesses.

Happy hour prices are solid, $2 for pints of domestics including yuengling, and a decent selection of reduced priced apps. Friendly staff and overall good bar food. Surprisingly good blackened fish meal at about $10. Plenty of tv's. A necessary bar for every neighborhood.

Parents live nearby, and it's a lively bar with decent food, especially considering the area. There isn't much to be found on Route 48 in Maineville, and it's our favorite waterin' hole. We've always gone on the weekends, or during happy hour, when the mood is light, games are flashing on big screens around you, and servers are buzzing about. Food is better than you would expect for your average bar fare - yes, a lot of it is fried, but there are some delicious alternatives - grilled chicken salads, blackened fish, some flatbread pizzas, etc. Always crowded - families, men at the bar, couples at the tables. Best time to go is during Buzztime Trivia. After a long day, a cold beer and a game or two of trivia is quite a delight!

Smokehouse Sliders, Onion Rings, Salad, and the Club Sandwich are all awesome! Good food/drink mixed with a little Buzztime Trivia makes this a perfect, every weekend, destination for my family!

Wings and beer with sports on the tv while kids play games. And at night the kick the kids out and have bands on the weekends. What more could you want from a local?

    (4)
  • Adam H.

Atmosphere is spot on for a sports bar. Only have been here a few times. Don't know if I'll ever be able to go back when there's a band though. So loud you can't even hear yourself think.

This is the local bar/pub. Has some good dishes and some bad ones. Lots of TVs to watch sports and video games for the kids. This is just like the bar close to you house so there is no real reason to go here unless you live around it.

  • Steve A.

Always packed. I went once and it was like a packed sardine can. A lot of middle aged men and women. Some younger as well. Only large bar in Maineville.

    (4)
  • Jason C.

Good sports bar; Lot's of flat-panel TV's and virtually every seat has good visibility to a TV. Tuesday night trivia is a lot of fun and draws a big crowd. I was there on a Saturday night once and the band was so loud that my wife and I had to go sit outside though. You can see the Kings Island fireworks from the outdoor seating.
