This restaurant isn't too bad considering. It reminds me of a knock off version of Chipotle. I'm not saying it's terrible just a bit different. There are many more options when it comes to the sauce and toppings. The food is pretty good but not great. The one thing I dislike are the chips. They are placed in a plastic bag and then in a paper bag. It's a shame they are not more fresh than that. The service at this location is usually pretty good. Considering it takes my kids 2 hours to figure out what they want, their patience is very helpful.

I Have been here 4 times now and the food is wonderful. Very Clean and neat. Workers are very nice and helpful. We started to come here more because the Chipotle in King Island has become so dirty.

Service is slow. It appears protocol to do not stock their assembly line as they are routinely out of items no matter what time of day. The food itself is about on par with Chipotle, but the service is too poor to make it worth the novelty of their sauces.

Just went there at 12:45 on July 19. Stood at the counter for 5 min while people in the back where chatting about something (not related to work). They finally noticed me and apologized for not seeing me come in. In any customer based business you should always have someone watching the door. This is the second time in a row that I have had this happen to me. There will not be a third. It is to bad too... there are a couple of younger girls that do a great job and have great customer service. It's strange how its the middle aged lady's that think standing in the back and talking is acceptable. Food is decent when i am in a pinch for something spicy, but after two back to back trips in with this kind of service I am done...

Basically this is just a chipotle wanna be... Sub par food, steak is over cooked and chewy, barbacoa is under seasoned, corn is to fruity, basically save your money is over priced and doesn't meet expectations!

We love Chipotle. So naturally we wanted to see the options out there. This place is terrible. My burrito was luke warm. I don't think they turned on the warmers. Tasted days old. I had them heat it up in the microwave. We expected to be in the bathroom for a while after and sure enough my wife son and I all have it (THE D). WARNING DON'T EAT HERE

The girl at the counter was acceptionally friendly! The restrooms were immaculate! It was the food that left something to be desired... Maybe it was an off day?

I first experienced Hot Head Burritos in Dayton, OH years ago. I wasn't a big fan of Hot Head Burritos then, actually I absolutely hated it, but I chalked it up to the location. Nothing good was around there at all. So when I first heard they were opening one near my house, I couldn't really care less. My wife was somewhat excited though because of the variety of ingredients they have to create burritos. We both decide to try it because we were hoping, a different location would mean a different experience. The experience was just a little bit better than our first. The service was the same crappy service as the location in Dayton. When I asked one of the persons creating my burrito what a certain sauce was like, it just seemed like he didn't really care and just said "it's a hot sauce." Well thanks there captain, I probably could have figured that one out on my own. What I wanted to know was, are there any special notes in the taste that would differ it from the other sauces you have. Is it sweet? Is the heat just for heat sake or is the heat more of a flavor? So forth and so on. The food was just a smidge better. On our first visit, the ingredients were of crap quality and there was no real flavor in my burrito. It was just all kinds of dull crap wrapped in a tortilla shell. On our latest visit, the burrito was still pretty bland but it was a little more flavorful. I'm assuming it was because of the "hot sauce" i decided to put on it. I will usually give a restaurant three chances but I think a chance at two different locations is enough for me to put Hot Head Burrito on my waste of time list. Life is too short to put up with crap.

I really, really wanted to like this place. It is close to home and their name suggests that spicy burritos is a speciality, which exciting to this chilehead. Unfortuneately, I left craving Moe's. There are many pluses to this place besides location. Plenty of meat and sauce options and 2 burritos for $10 special works well for me. My kids got the cheese quesadilla which was LOADED with cheese. Now, for the minuses, I ordered the spicy chicken with the extreme habanero sauce. With this combination I still got more sweet than heat. Which did not appeal to my pallate. I then asked for a side of the straight habanero sauce. While it sauce was hot it lacked taste. It was just a hab vinegar sauce, Size of the burrito could have been bigger too and they charge for a chips and salsa. Will I go back? Maybe, and I will try something else, but I am in no rush to do so. Moe's is still best and Mcpotle is a better option also. Damn and I really wanted to like this place.

I hated this place at first. I came with a group of work friends and ordered tacos. It was very expensive for what I ordered so I stopped going for a while. I was told "you probably aren't ordering the right thing" so I gave it another shot. Instead of tacos I get a bowl now and it's amazing. The female staff have always been incredibly friendly but the guys act like they hate being there. Overall I'll continue to eat there more than I should.

Staff is friendly. Prices are a little high for burritos in my opinion but they are very huge ones and they have a small vegetarian selection and a bunch of different things to add on. All in all a decent place to go grab a bite.

I love love love the food at hot head burritos, if you haven't had it you're missing out on all the sauces, burritos and quesadillas! This location is relatively new in a spot where they don't have the competition of the other two burrito chains, So I'm cutting the staff some slack considering they have an overwhelming number of customers in this small location.
