Hibachi - Japanese for overpriced but fun show. Cons - Seating in this place is a bit cramped. The setup also makes it loud, and the exhaust fans don't work well. Pros - My sushi was good. My accompaniment had a variety of items they let me try also. The steak and chicken were great. I recommend dipping both into "McDonalds" sauce (Thousand Island with no relish). Nice chef too. He called me Sushi man since all I had was sushi. To which I responded, I am the walrus, goo goo g'joob. He also did not laugh. If you have an hour for lunch, this might be pushing it. It's a good time though. Keep it in mind for dinner.

I will never eat here ever again. The customer service and food was horrible. My sister and I ate here 3 days ago. We had to wait forever for our salads and soup. We order the Calamari Tempura that came out not cooked. We sent it back and they refried what we sent back and said we don't want it. They still charged me for the Calamari even though we didn't eat it. This is the worse from the customer service to the food.

Ok food but not worth the money. Strange atmosphere, no flair in the habachi which is one of the draws to that type of restaurant. I even tried to talk the guy up politely but he just ignored me. And not because there was a language barrier as he was clearly American. I will not be returning but since it was just us in the place I think others feel the same way.

I have been here twice for lunch (sushi both times). Each time the food was above average, and the staff is very friendly. I will eat here again when I'm in Macedonia.

Polite staff, okay atmosphere. The food is not authentic but okay. I ordered the Chicken Yakisoba. I may try something different if I decided to go back.

Dreadful. The chefs aren't Japanese and it shows - no "show" at all. Then the whole service aspect was terrible! They offered chicken liver appetizers - but when I went to school the appetizers came first. Not here! Everything comes in totally random order. Appetizer after the entree and finally followed by rice - WHat the ???? My wives salmon was undercooked. If you want Japanese green tea you have to ask for it. I asked for it twice. Never got it. For the Fuji - forget it!!!!

I'm really stuck on this one. The food was good, but very expensive. ($110 for a family of four, with only two drinks ordered: beer & wine). I've visited other hibachi restaurants, received better food, better service and paid 1/4 less. They had one of the best soups ever, but charged extra for fried rice, even with hibachi! I've never heard of that. The hibachi was entertaining, but we've experienced better. Exterior of the restaurant is odd because they block off the view out the windows with some crazy print screen scenic photo. The interior looks worn, the hibachi grill could use a thorough cleaning. If it weren't for the decent food this place would be a total kitchen nightmare. The staff were a little shaken the night we visited as a party seated before us was trying to complain about everything and get a teriyaki chicken removed from the bill because they suddenly realized midway through the meal they don't like teriyaki chicken.

Great atmosphere. Food was cooked to perfection. The chef had good showmanship. The prices were fair considering they were cheaper than wasbi, another habchi restaurant in Cleveland. I will be back for me and my girlfriends anniversary.

Not great. No showmanship, fire, spatula flipping, etc. Lunch vegetables are different than dinner --pureed carrots and onions. Sesame chicken is only grilled chicken with seeds on top....No taste!

Don't bother I used to really like this restaurant. I haven't been here for many years. Went for dinner tonight and we will never go again. No show from the cook. I ordered spicy chicken and he forgot the spices so I had dry chewy chicken. We had to pay extra for fried rice and it was mediocre at best. If you want a fun great hibachi experience, go to Wasabi or one of the other places. This is NOT impressive and NOT worth the crazy prices.

Don't waste your money. If you have the urge to throw away your money, just do it somewhere else. I've been here 2 times. The first time was terrible but I thought I would give it another chance. Bad idea. The first time I went, I went during lunch for the hibachi and a sushi appetizer. When I walked in the establishment, a woman sat me immediately but did not bring me a menu. When the hibachi chef came around to ask what my order was, I had to request one and ended up having to make the entire table wait for me to look it over and decide. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and the chicken hibachi. Soup and salad comes with the hibachi meal and was the first thing to come out. These items were the only items that tasted decent. The chicken ended up being burnt but trying to communicate that with the chef and the server was difficult and there was clearly a language barrier. They said that's how chicken is cooked. So I was left with my burnt chicken. If you're expecting good portions of chicken, veggies, or rice... go ahead and get rid of that expectation. You won't get much. My sushi came after the hibachi and it was loosely wrapped, so fell apart when picking up with chop sticks. I had to eat it like a chipotle bowl with a fork. So disappointed. I left hungry and frustrated... but thought maybe this was just a fluke. I went again today for take out lunch. I didn't get hibachi this time, I got salad and soup (still okay) and I got a crunchy shrimp roll, spicy tuna roll, and cucumber roll. The cucumber was good. The spicy tuna and crunchy shrimp rolls were again rolled loosely and fell apart. I'm eating it out of a bowl with a fork at my desk at work - If I hadn't spent 30 minutes waiting on the food that I called ahead for, I would be going and getting a different lunch from somewhere else. Never wasting my money there again. Overpriced, poor quality, and slow as molasses.

We have eaten here well over a dozen times in the past 10 years. I guess I am a creature of habit, at least when it comes to Fuji. I always get the Steak & Chicken hibachi combo and it is always delicious! Best to go before 6:30 as you can get the Early Bird special of the combo for $7.00 less than regular price. Service is friendly and we love the salad dressing on the cold, crisp salads.

Came for lunch & ordered the steak & shrimp hibachi for $12.90. The steak was not high quality, very basic, but everything else was good. The ginger sauce was good as well. The waitress and cook were friendly.

I'd heard about this place before from my husband's cousin who raves about it. After going to Outback and finding out there was an hour wait, we went to Fuji and were seated immediately. The soup and salad were good. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and my husband had the diablo chicken. We both enjoyed our meals. The only thing keeping it from a 5-star was that they didn't bring out all the chicken to be cooked at the same time so everyone at the table, including my husband, He had to go get more and I received my chicken probably 8 minutes after everyone else. It was good, just delayed. We will certainly return again.

Had a great time Fugis!!! The staff was great, very friendly and the food was amazing, I would recommend this place to anybody! If you have a baby this place is for you! Even though they didnt have alot of variety of sushi, their habachi was the best! Yum Yum!!!!

Prompt service and entertaining chef, but that's it. The food is not that good. The salad dressing looks like mayo and the food is bland. Not impressed at all. The price is outrageous! Not going here again.

I came here with friends to see our friend's band play and we ended up in the hibachi table room instead of the room with the band. So, we did not get to hear our friend play but the hibachi was decent. It was better than what I've had at other local Japanese restaurants. They had a good selection of proteins to choose from on the menu for hibachi. I ordered steak and shark steak. I have never seen shark stead on the menu before so that was exciting. Other than that it was nothing superb but it was good. We did also order a couple plates of sushi that were delicious.

Wow im surprised by all the low stars....I came here on a visit with my fam who come here quite often. The staff remembered them and also couldn't be more friendly...everyone from the chef to the host. The food (and prices) was just as good as any other restaurant of the type and just as flavorful. Its not the biggest place on the inside but since it wasn't by any means packed for lunch it suited us just fine. Our chef wasn't one for as much flair as some of the other chefs but he had a good convo going and the food was good so I was happy with it. They have lunch and dinner specials as well with different combos to suit the palate and really can't go wrong with either one. I will def be back when i'm around the area. ps. go to town on the sauces and also ask for the diablo sauce as well. (I think that was what it was called...its there hotter sauce. Yum.)

I'm usually a fan of hibachi restaurants - they're a bit corny, but fun once in awhile for a group of people. I was really, really disappointed though for a few reasons. Our group ordered the spicy chicken and vegetarian noodles. The food tasted okay, but largely because of the MASS amounts of garlic butter/oil being used. I get that this isn't where you go for a healthful meal, but there are limits, and they certainly reached them for me. Moreover, it was a bit of a turnoff when they explained that their dressing was just mayo and ginger. It may have tasted good, but mentally, the way it was described made it less than enjoyable. A more specific problem our group had is we had one friend with us who was vegan. All of us had to explain that she wanted her food without butter, and just with veggie oil. We were told this was okay, but it was a consistent problem throughout the meal. So, be careful when you order the vegetarian dish there - you might not be too happy with the result if that's something you are looking for. So - I'd think twice before making this your groups' destination. Although the only other restaurants nearby are chains, we all agreed we would have preferred going to one over going here.

As someone who spent 5 years living in Japan this restaurant offends me to the core. I don't know where to even begin with this train wreck of a restaurant. I guess I'll start by saying that this restaurant does not serve Japanese food. I know that when most people think of Japanese food they think of Sushi, Hibachi and instant ramen noodles. Well they definitely have Sushi in Japan but it is nothing like what you find in America, it is infinitely better and they most definitely invented instant ramen noodles(which can't shine a light on how awesome real ramen is). Hibachi restaurants are an unholy American creation and this place falls into that category and it is a bottom barrel Hibachi restaurant at best. Now on to the meal. I ordered chicken yakisoba; A delicious yet humble dish in Japan, yet the disgusting mess that I was prepared tonight was not yakisoba. As part of my order I was brought a salad made up of iceberg lettuce that was drowned in thousand island dressing. I would estimate that there was at least a half a cup of dressing on this poor little salad, next was a bowl of soup which was in reality just a bowl of beef broth with a few onions and mushrooms tossed in which was completely disgusting. Next in the course was "Hibachi" stir fried vegetables which consisted of onions, mushrooms and zucchini drowned in vegetable oil and copious amounts of butter, stir fried. Another complete failure and the last course was the yakisoba, which again consisted of cabbage and other unidentifiable vegetables drowned in oil, butter, soy sauce and some kind of butter with soba noodles tossed on top. This entire meal was utterly devoid of flavor other than that of the oil that everything was swimming in. I almost forgot to mention that they used the same knife for the fish, chicken, shrimp and vegetables on the grill. I am not a chef nor a professional cook but I know that you should never ever do this to avoid cross contamination especially with raw chicken and seafood. Please stay away from this restaurant and do yourself a favor by finding an authentic Japanese restaurant. This was quite possibly one of the worst meals I have ever had in my life.
