Tastes like what we had in Thailand! Red and green curries were both excellent. Really friendly service.

If you didn't notice the open signs you would miss one of the most authentic places in Lima for Awesome Thai Food! Fantastic ragoons filled with cream cheese and a medley of vegetables cooked to perfection. My wife is not a ragoon water and she ate more than me in less time! Note to self buy two orders next time..... Freshly made unsweet ice tea that has a hint of ginger to tantalize your tastebuds. Now on to the main entree.... Green Curry, my favorite... And may I say this place did phenomenal!!! The favors, the heat, the coconut creamy goodness!!! Amazing!!!! Lima has a new hidden Gem!!!! Friendly service and fast!

My wife and I stopped for dinner last night and it was very good. much above the Asian cuisine in the area. My wife had the lettuce wraps and I had some kind of stirfry with pork in it. it was number 6.5 on the menu. both were excellent. Also the the eggrolls were really really good. We will definitely be returning as there were a large amount of selections on their menu.

Stopped in for lunch. Tried chicken fried rice (spicy) and egg roll, per suggestion of server (the only visible employee). Fried rice was pretty good. Spice level good. One tiny piece of collard green, though I picked the variation that came with collard greens (3 other variations). Egg roll ok not great. Best part of egg roll was their variation of a sweet and sour dipping sauce with crushed red pepper. Decor pretty dated and dingy. Table beat up and seemed sticky. Server seemed to be owner or relative. Friendly but lacked good English skills and it was difficult to ask questions if you are a newbie. Odd little candy (not mint) with the check, cucumber melon I believe. Cost for fried rice, egg roll and dr. Pepper (with tax and tip) at lunch was $15. Not exactly cheap. No "lunch specials" like my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Overall ok, but not impressed. Will not be back. Too many other options.

This was my first time here. I passed it on my way to a delivery. I ordered spring rolls and pad thai. The spring rolls were a little bit on the greasy side but were still very crisp. The pad thai was very good. The flavor and textures develop as you eat the dish. By the end I was sold and will return to read here again.

I feel bad writing this review, as my server was ridiculously friendly and accommodating, but Bangkok Bay's pad thai doesn't compare to the quality and flavor served at Thai Jasmine. If you can't be the best pad thai in Allen County, you can't have my business.

Great food great price ordered items marked as spicy and they were but in perfect balance. If you like Thai food you will like this. If you have not tried Thai it's very aromatic. Shrimp in soup was perfectly done not rubbery. All ingredients were of high quality and deftly handled. About 2 min. from I-75 exit 120 west then N on Dixie Highway

Wake up [your taste buds], Lima! This new Thai restaurant is authentic, delicious, and the staff is incredibly dedicated to your dining pleasure. They can customize your food to the heat level you are comfortable with (for me, 3 out of 3 chilis! HOT HOT!) and they even have items off the main menu that they offer. If you have a special request, they'll make it if they have the ingredients! I come to Lima once a month...this time after my second trip to Thailand, it was a welcome reminder of the awesome food Thai culture offers and how the staff is so very kind--the owner even came out to chat. It comes with my highest recommendations.

Just drove close to an hour and a half to eat at Bangkok Bay. After trying it from a friends birthday party (they had it catered) several months ago, I was eager to try it fresh from the restaurant. It was everything I expected and then some. We ordered green and red curry, three different noodle dishes - in which the pad thai was the best, and a thai chicken basil - which had a different taste, but in a very good way (my guess would be nutmeg). The thai ice teas were a lighter color but very tasty. We just got back from Thailand, and this place does a very good representation of Thai food. It was definitely worth the long drive to have some good food. How come Dayton can't get a Thai place this tasty. A great find in the small town of Lima. This place is better than any Thai place I've had in Ohio....and just as good as the ones in LA. Great service also! I would definitely recommend and drive back any day. Hope this place survives the downturn.
