I was greeted promptly upon entering and was asked if it was my first time there. I was shown where to find the menu and was allowed to take the menu home with me upon asking. I ordered two dinners of pulled pork with two sides. I ordered mac and cheese and baked beans with both dinners. My mother nor I cared for the baked beans, they were kind of dry, pasty and didn't have a good overall taste. The mac and cheese was okay yet also a little dry maybe more milk, butter and cheese to be added to make it creamy and soft. For the pulled pork I chose the pulled pork that already had bbq sauce on it. I also took two sides of spicy bbq sauce to add to mine. The spicy sauce was satisfactory to my standards. The pulled pork was fairly tender but could have been more tender. There was a good variety of sides to choose from and I will return to try it at least once more. I will skip the mac n cheese and baked beans though. Thankful to have bbq in Lancaster, OH and hoping they work to make their food better.

I was sooooo excited to see a BBQ joint open in Lancaster! We need a good one and I do love the Q however this place didn't really deliver on that promise. I understand start-ups and their challenges but these guys are not quite ready for prime time. Two of us came to dine and tried to sample as much as we could in one visit. I had the pulled pork with their sauce on it. My personal favorite is a Carolina style sauce but they didn't offer that style of sauce. My dining companion had the brisket. The pulled pork was definitely OK although I was hoping for something more along the lines of excellent. The brisket was also OK a little on the fatty side with no sauce so you could sauce it however you liked or just have it nekkid. I had mac n cheese and baked beans for sides. The mac n cheese was a tasty start however it was a bit gummy a little more milk and less cheese would help that. The baked beans were on the quality of a Bush's baked beans. Very tasty but didn't have umph to push them over the top. The green beans were quite tasty I would recommend them. I also tried a piece of their sausage and it was very yummy. Not enough to salvage the overall restaurant rating but a fine effort. Overall they were OK and maybe I went in with too high of an expectation but I so desperately wanted them to be over the moon. Maybe they warrant a trip back in a couple months to see what they've tweaked.

I've been in 2x and after the first I walked away saying "Meh" but 2 days later the thought of local bbq pulled me back. Staff is super friendly, any questions and they'll explain all the items really well. Seems pricey for lancaster, $20 for a sampler combo but it's alot of food. Maybe they need a true sampler lots of little servings so people could figure out what's good without a large investment in food. First trip I tried Combo Combination which is 1/4 rack ribs (dry rub), brisket with au jus on the side, and supposed to come with pulled pork (but I noticed when I got home I only had ribs and brisket) and two sides I chose Scalloped Potatos and Collards. Ribs were tender and flavor was good not great but good. They'd been cooked to where even the bones were softening up. Brisket was OK, I have a food memory of a place called Wileys Championship BBQ outside Tybee Island, GA they make incredible brisket so maybe my bar is set too high. Sides were good, Collards are spicy hot which gives them an interesting twist. Scalloped Potatos wouldnt win any Church Social awards but they were better than the Boxed version I get at walmart. Sweet Tea was actually decent, that's rare since I've spent some time in North Carolina and know what tea is supposed to taste like. Second Trip this evening I went for another Combo Combination with 1/4 rack of ribs (bbq this time) brisket, and made very sure my pulled port made it into the bag this time. Sides I chose Mac and Cheese and Mashed Potatos. I also got a Pitbullz sandwich pretty much everything including the kitchen sink is on this thing, pulled pork, brisket, cheez sauce, bacon, carmelized onions, etc, etc, etc. Will be food for a couple days in the fridge. Pittbullz sandwich was good, liked the onions and cheezesauce. BBQ Ribs are also good but I think I like the dry rub better. Skip the Mashed Potatos and Mac and Cheese. The cook and his partner seem like nice guys I really hope this place makes it. Everybody needs time to get their feet I'd bet it gets better with time.

Pitbullz is the place for BBQ in Lancaster, Ohio. i had lunch there twice and loved every piece of food they served me. the brisket was delicious. the greens were the best i have ever had! the st. louis style ribs were great! we had a party of 16 and Pitbullz came through like a champ. Pulled chicken, pulled pork, a barley side dish with a spicy little kick, all very very tasty. I will recommend Pitbullz to all of my friends and family for sure! Thanks Chef Tim. Great work!

This place is awful. The sign says bbq but nothing is smoked. I ordered the ribs and they were gray and tasted like they were boiled in water. The baked beans tasted like they came out of a can. If i could give it a negative star i would.

More of a 3.5-3.75 but not quite up to a solid 4. The food is pretty good, the portions are generous, and the prices are CHEAP!!! The atmosphere is similar to City BBQ. The best thing I had was the smoked turkey. The potato salad and pulled pork was OK. The baked beans and cornbread muffins were meh. I would have liked the pulled pork to have been smoked only and let the customer add the sauce. The smoke flavor was lacking in the pulled pork and beans. My favorite joint is Mill Stone but this is closer and cheaper so its great for a quick bite on a sat afternoon or weeknight.
