Not a bad little place. I was a little put off by the look of the place- the steeple type sign out front held up by 2x4s, the dingy restaurant supply store looking chairs and tables, the women's room which needs a remodel, but was pleasantly surprised when my food came. Based on other yelpers, I got the pizza and wasn't disappointed. It was very good and their personal sized pizza (9") is really big. Decently priced. I would definitely take my family there if we vacationed at Indian Lake (which we probably won't do because it appears to be a very run down vacation spot with an average age of 65, translation - sketchy and no kids).

I have been vacationing at Indian Lake for years and La Pizzeria is hands down my favorite pizza, and that is saying a lot considering there are several great pizza places there. Many of the other menu items are great as well, but the pizza is the best, and I have never had a bad experience with any of the employees or food. I like that the owner is there most of the time. A little side story, awhile back i went in and picked up a huge order, probably $70 and tried to pay with a credit card. I was told they didn't accept them (they do take credit cards now), but the owner said go ahead and take the food so it doesn't get cold, and come back later with cash or a check after you eat. You don't get that kind of trust or service from a chain.
