I really want to like this place but every time I go the food is badly prepared and/ or cold. The service is always bad. Trust me when I say avoid this place. City Bbq is a better deal with better food.

have heard other people say its not so great but we have been there twice & very pleased both times. they bring you chips & salsa for free & the dinners are very large. hubby had whole rack of ribs with fries & Texas toast for $14 I had the tex mex sampler with burritos & beans, etc. only $13. great food, good value, good service. we will be going back. the only negative thing to say is one of the menus had some food on it that made it sticky, we advised waitress so they could wipe it off. love it here!

One of the better dining options in the area, menu is always being updated which is nice to see and the staff and food are always pleasant and good. A great Tex Mex place if you are in to that stuff like I am. Good daily specials such as kids eat free night and Thirsty Thursdays, etc. Would like to see some more options on draft but the top shelf Margarita's are pretty good. Also a fan of their white chili and burritos.

Always standard fare, good service, good $3.49 margaritas, on Mondays. Don't get the .99cent ones, they're horrible, IMHO.As far as the food goes.... the chips are thick, hard & flavorless, the salsa HAS to be from a can, a big can. I don't think they have anything in the back doesn't come from a can! the only reason I will go is darling husband likes their burritos, and I can have my margarita.

I enjoy eating here when I am in town. The food is good and reasonably priced. The service is typically good. They have some good items to choose from. I usually go with the burrito with queso cheese and fries. They also serve chips and salsa why you are waiting for your food.

I'm writing this review based on the service and the fact that it's Tex-Mex. I came here a few weeks ago with someone who had never been here....so I was hoping they'd impress him as they'd been kind've "hit and miss" in the past with me. Our waitress was new (can't remember her name) but was very sweet. When she brought out the chips and salsa, she had tiny little saucers of salsa....that wasn't gonna cut it. We asked for more salsa and she brought them out in half-bowls.....YAY!! The food was incredible. The service was fantastic....the manager came over to check on us and was extrememly sincere and funny. Great job Tumbleweed! I look forward to coming back soon!

I'd like to give 2.5 stars. I really wanted to like this place, but it was disappointing. Keep in mind, we were there for lunch on a Friday around 1 ish. Service - Slow and didn't get refills. She didn't even tell us the chips were complimentary. She asked 'would you like to order an appetizer, cheese fries, (something I can't remember), or chips and salsa?' Just made me think they charged for chips. I had to ask if they were complimentary. I had to ask twice for the kids drinks. She also brought the check and said thank you like she was done and then I asked "don't the kids meals come with a small sundae?" To which she replied "yes, do you want them?" Of course I do, which is one reason I thought the $6 price tag on the kids meal was ok. Food - Mediocre in quality and flavor, but expensive so that takes it down a notch. It was $9 or $10 for a small chicken wrap. $7 for some waffle fries with a little cheese and fresh jalapeño slices. Restaurant - clean and cute decor. Manager - He was very friendly and seems genuinely interested in feedback and making sure the customers had a good experience. He is the main reason I couldn't decide between two and three stars. We need half stars bc two and half suits this experience well! Without him and the cleanliness of the place I would have given 1.5.
