Seriously, if you can find a place that offers a better soup, salad and breadsticks deal let me know. Did I mention unlimited? Always love coming to the OG, the one here in Heath is definitely a family favorite. I like the fact that they are always featuring new dishes to try and the food is alwasy outstanding. The Belini iced tea is probably my favorite non-alcoholic beverage on the planet :)

Food is always good. Wait staff is always friendly and they are always helpful when they see me going in with my three kids (by myself, might I add). They are willing to bring out the dishes for the boys before mine so they can get to eating and stay happy while I am eating my main course.

I'm assuming most people know what Olive Garden is like since it's a big chain. Wide variety of basic Italian foods, endless soup, salad, and breadstick, the works. This review is mostly about the service at this particular location. We've been coming here regularly for many years and I can say that hands down this is my favorite Olive Garden location. The staff here is very friendly and we rarely have ANY issues with our meals. They get your food out in a reasonable amount of time nearly every time. My favorite thing about this location is that they are large group friendly. I have a large extended family that likes to go out together on a whim and we have an insane amount of trouble getting restaurants to seat us in the Newark area. But Olive Garden takes all 12-15 of us in and gets us seated in less than 5 or 10 minutes nearly every time. So, we keep coming back!

Our first time at this restaurant was for their never ending pasta bowl. We really enjoyed the Zuppa Toscana Soup, House Salad and Breadsticks. As for the pasta their roasted mushroom alfredo was delicious and pairs awesome with the shrimp fritta and linguine. Keeping this in mind for next year but definitely will be a different location. The marinara sauce was not good at all, watery, runny and no flavor. The waitress we had on the first visit there was awesome. I really wish I could recall her name (maybe Shantell) because she really is fabulous. If you do go there and she's working you will be well taken care of. Our second visit we had the most awful waitress. She never once asked my husband if he wanted a refill on his drink, she didn't offer to bring more breadsticks so he asked her but she just never came back with them, she didn't ask to refill the salad but instead just took the bowl. When we finished eating we were speaking with the manager about the service and she decided to come up to the front and start arguing with me, loudly and very confrontational. It was the most bizarre experience I've ever had in a restaurant. The management was very apologetic and begged that we please not leave the restaurant while they took her away and spoke with her. They did give us a gift certificate for our next visit which was very nice of them. Our third visit we were sitting and eating, minding our own business when along beside us came a cockroach. ICK! When I reported this on their Facebook page it was simply deleted.. not a word was said to me about it. Great way to handle the issue. I will go to Olive Garden again but it will definitely not be this location.

The food was slightly different than our Cincinnati based Olive Garden. Salmon and broccoli was excellent. Shrimp and Chicken Carbonera was very good. The Stuffed Chicken Marsala was dry and the mashed potatoes weren't very good. The portion size was very small. They didn't have Raspberry Iced Tea but a Peach Variety that was too sweet. The service was decent. It is located on a main strip.

I've never been to this Olive Garden before. The service was spot on waitress was excellent. The food however was not the greatest I've ever had an olive garden before, actually it might be the worst. The breadsticks for overdone and we asked for replacements, they were even worse. My soup was lukewarm uneven and had cold spots almost like it was microwaved. The salad was overloaded with croutons and dressing and I could barely get any vegetables out of it. Lastly I got the Italiano burger, the meat tasted like it was the lowest quality ground beef I'd ever tasted like it was from Krogers or something. All I can say is great service but the food not so much, I'll stick with my usual Olive Garden on Hamilton Rd in Columbus.

Yesterday for lunch I ordered the rosemary chicken with garlic mash and fresh spinach. Mash and spinach were very good but I was served with the smallest chicken breast I have ever seen. It wasn't a whole breast. They had sliced it and then pounded it out to about 1/4" thick. Very small very bad.

I have never had a good meal at this restaurant. On the other hand, my family, loves it. This time, I had the Seafood Brodetto, which was supposed to be seafood in a light wine and marinara saffron broth. You could have papered your walls with it. They might have at least put in more spinach, which is pretty cheap. Thank goodness for the charred half lemon which allowed me to infuse some citrus. My son had the cheese ravioli with marinara sauce and loved it. He is fourteen. The salad is comprised of the yummy, all nutritional (not) iceburg lettuce. At least two or three thin slices of hot house tomatoes. One mushy olive. Two great hot peppers. A couple of onion slices. Why do people get so excited because they can have much as they want of this??? My ex highly recommends the chicken stuffed with mushrooms. I am sure it as good as every meal I have tried over the last ten years here. Service. I asked the waitress if she could wipe off our table which was wet. She, like all the other servers, had a yellow rag sort of thing hanging off of the back of her apron. She said, "Sure" and disappeared. She came back with our salads and brought napkins. When I asked again about the table, my son took one of the napkins and wiped the table off. She watched him and left the dirty napkin at the end of the table for the entire meal. Pretty much representative of the service I get there. I must say, in the probably ten or twelve times I have been there, I have service that rocked one time. If you like chain food and mediocre service, this is your destination.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
