Very strange that the cumulative reviews spanning at least four years haven't prompted any change in the service here. Our waitress did not seem disinterested or rude, just frenzied. True to every review here, it took a while to be noticed, a while to get our drinks, and a way above-average time to get our food. Stopped in with a full hour to spend, and ended up standing up and waiting in line to check-out without a check in hand because I had somewhere to be. Again, I don't blame the waitress. Really. The fact that this has evidently been the case for years (see the other reviews) means this is systematic. Very strange for a location near headquarters.

I came here looking for a good meal but only got disappointment. The waitress took over 5 minutes to get our drinks. I had to ask twice for cream and a coffee pot. The coffee was not hot. The food came out in a timely manner and was pretty good but; would have been better if we received our full order and silverware. By the time we received napkins and silverware the food was barely warm. There was a young man named Matt, he was a section over who was a great server and was very nice. I really wish he was my server.

I've been here a number of times, and the best way to describe it is as the black hole of Bob Evans'. You go in and are there forever, even if it's not busy. The wait staff is also hit or miss, sometimes they are nice, sometimes they aren't really interested in doing their jobs.

Ok i have loved Bob Evans since I was a kid. So i was excited to go to one in town on a visit for breakfast. So i walk in and the black lady from the counter asks me what do I want? Umm excuse me woman? What do i want? I told her I wanted a table and had half a mind to cuss her out. But i was hungry and had my heart set. So i stood around while they cleaned off a table. Yay. Anyways i had to wait for the assistant manager to come and sit me down and then that nasty black lady gave me my menu. The waiter came and took my order and brought me a drink. The food was good and I was done fast. Look these people Need to learn what customer service is and that black lady should be fired. She is incompetent and rude

By far the worst Bob Evans I have ever been to. My husband and I live very close to this location and we decided that we would try it for dinner one night. The service was horrible! There might have been 10 customers in the whole place and you would have thought there was a full restaurant. The service was super slow and my husbands food came out wrong. Almost every table in our section hadn't been bused. On a different visit my mom was in town and we wanted to do a quick breakfast...we decided on this Bob Evans again...wanted to give it a second chance. Once again our service was horrible. We decided to go another time... Thinking that the third time would be a charm... And as expected the service was horrible again. Our server brought out half of my husbands meal 20 minutes before the rest of the meal. The food sat there and got cold which forced her to bring it out fresh again. She wasn't friendly and we could tell that she didn't care about customer service at all. Needless to say I honestly doubt that we will ever eat here again! I gave it a 1 star because 0 wasn't an option.

I gave this place 2 tries just to make sure I didn't just come on a bad night. The original Bob Evans I frequented on I-70 and S. Hamilton Road closed, so for a breakfast food fix I had to head further south into Groveport. The first time I came it was New Year's Day and they were hopping. I had about a 10 minute wait with a hungry toddler. Which other parents know feels like an eternity. As we were taken back to be seated I saw a whole row of 2 seater tables that were empty. Why not seat us there? Atleast they brought corn muffins and banana bread so my kid totally didn't flip the hell out. The second time we came it was a Wednesday night. First we were told we were going to be seated. Then there seemed to be some kind of confusion and we were told a 5-10 min wait. Then every 2 mins the front of house woman kept assuring me that we were going to be seated in a minute. We were seated and again I noticed plenty of open seating. I get that you don't want to overload a server's zone unnecessarily but come on. We ordered our drinks and ordered food quite shortly after that. It took half an hour for our food to come. I had 2 pancakes and turkey sausage and my son had pancakes. 30 Mins is way too long to wait, especially when the restaurant wasn't packed. Then only comment the server made was that she was sorry and that "I don' t know what's wrong, the kitchen is having a bad night". Its a shame I will have to travel to Pickerington's Cracker Barrel for my breakfast fix.

Went here many, many times when I lived in Canal Winchester, and liked it a lot. Also, recently joined a few friends here for a little birthday brunch for myself. We had excellent service, and the food was great, as usual. This is a must-stop place for the area. Coffee within seconds for coffee drinkers. Eggs to order. This is the place.

This has got to be the worst Bob Evans ever. I ordered online and went at the appointed time and when I got there, there was a line at the cash register and no one came over to help me. I could see my order sitting there and the manager was standing around joking. Finally one of the waitresses came over and asked if I was being helped and when I said no, she went to find a young man to help me. Well, he proceeded to get very busy and took another 10 minutes to come to me. All the while the manager is standing around doing nothing and the person at the cash register is trying to help a guy who has coupons on his phone and all of them are wrong. finally, I get in the line to pay and amazingly, since there were two women in front of me, the manager decides to open up the next register to help them, leaving me at the register with the crazy guy and his coupons! Finally I pay and I vow never to go that one again. I had bad experiences there before, but thought I would give it another chance! I've had it. Always go to the E. Broad Street (Town and Country). Much better service and management.

Absolute worst experience ever. Waited 15 minutes before anyone noticed we were sitting in their section. I had received no less than 6 emails in the past week of the Thanksgiving special from 8 am to 8 pm. At first the waitress was oblivious to the special. Upon her return she announced that at 1:30 pm they no longer have any turkey or ham. Not even half way through the advertised time and out of the main entre for why we came. I wanted to leave, but! My better half said let's get a breakfast. Should have left! I ordered the Spanish omelette with the loaded home fries and blueberry crepes. While my better half ordered the sunrise with biscuits and loaded home fries. We each also ordered coffee and ice water. The home fries appeared to be stale and extremely crunchy. The crepes were supposed to have a dollop of cream on top. No dollop to be found. We sat almost an additional 15 minutes waiting for our waitress to check on us or to warm up our coffee. Nope didn't happen. In fact as we were getting up is the only time a waitress came back. And that was to give me the bill!! Oh, and the biscuits never came either! Then I was so angry at the service that I neglected to review the bill. How does 2 coffees, 5.69 crepes, 8.99 Spanish omelette, 7.99 sunrise and 2 home fries loaded come to be 32.87???
