Awesome place. Chicken chunks are the best ever had. I would suggest paying with cash though.

I would give this place a zero if it was an option. I would tell you how good or bad the food was but after an hour of sitting in the booth I finally left. No food ever made it to my table.

If you're looking for a sports spot right off the highway, the Landing Pad is the way to go. They have good drink specials and a variety of food items. The wait is never long because the restaurant is good size, with a updated bar and a small patio on the side. The Landing Pad is behind the Max and Erma's at the end of the building strip.

Ok so some of the food items we ordered were ok but some were not good at all. The biggest problem we had was the service. We waited 20 minutes to get our drink order in and then 20 minutes for it to arrive. The waitress then left and came back 20 minutes later to take the food order. Really??? After we were done eating, asked the waitress to talk to the manager about the slow poor service and the waitress walked to the back of the restaurant. She returned later and said the manager refused to come talk to us. I yelp often about restaurants and always give good reviews when deserved. This was totally unacceptable. Choose a different place to eat when in Findlay.

My boyfriend and I ate here recently wanting to try something new as we don't live nearby. I was pleasantly surprised. The place is clean with tvs placed in great spots so everyone can view them. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The food was good! I had the boneless chicken wings and fries and my boyfriend had traditional wings. Very good. I liked that I could get my boneless wings in quantity of 4-8-12... 8 is too many and was 4 was just enough with the fries. We will definitely be going back again.

Frequented many times during my time in Findlay. Food is good, buffalo chicken salad is my favorite. Staff is very friendly.

Not good. Half of the orders for my table were incorrect, including a dish containing cheese for my friend who is highly allergic (we even informed the server of that ahead of time). The service was also probably the slowest I've ever had at any restaurant, even though the tables were nowhere near full. The prices were very good, but there are plenty of other places I'd rather go for good decent and atmosphere.

The food was very good! Wings especially! The only drawback was the service. I was 7pm on Friday night, if that is a good excuse. I had an empty glass 3 times. Once for about 15 min. Nice atmosphere, and plenty of tvs.

Absolutely fantastic homemade french fries. Salads and burgers are excellent. Neat bar and grill type restaurant. Great atmosphere. Can be a little loud when crowded. It's a regular stop for lunch. Well worth the visit.

Great local restaurant. Always clean and have never been let down by the food. The service is always a little spotty; food always comes out on time but wait staff isn't always very attentive. The food and the atmosphere make this place a frequent destination for me.

My boyfriend and I came here tonight with his brother and his girlfriend who have come here before and said it was a decent place to go. When we first walked in it seemed nice and had a decent amount of seats available. Our waitress seemed very nice and she was prompt. She got our drinks and took our order. We sat for about 30 minutes after that without a word from her and I see her runnin her heart out. From the front of the restaurant and to the back. When she gets a break she finally comes over & says we will get our food. 10 minutes later the food finally comes. The 20 traditional wings my boyfriend ordered were their boneless wings and his fries were missing. She corrects the order. The fries are absolutely disgusting. Fast food fries put these to shame. Whatever. We don't care. The problem I found tho is my waitress looked absolutely weeded. Which I'm sure is why she messed our order up. I ask her where her section is and she informs me that they don't have sections. Every place no matter the size I've waitressed at had sections. It doesn't make sense not to. She had 7 tables. All the way from table 1 to table 30. I ask for her manager and up comes up this arrogant jerk with a smirk on his face. I explain that our order was messed up but it's because of how much they have the servers runnin all over the restaurant. It's a mess. He got cocky and told me and I quote "so you don't like how much my girls walk?" Are you kiddin me ?! I am a server. I know how much walkin it takes. It's the fact that they are all over the place and it doesn't allow them to give the service they are fully potential of giving. Which is how they make their tips and how they make a living and how you keep customers coming back. And what floored me is how he acted like he could care less that we had a bad experience and as if customer service was nothing to him. I wasn't rude and I was just suggesting to him of a different strategy. I honestly feel bad for his "girls". No respect at all. As far as I'm concerned he doesn't belong in the business and he won't be gettin my business or any of my friends and families either. Absolutely not worth the time or money.

**LOCAL BUSINESS** The Landing Pad, located just west of the I-75/224 intersection, is part of a strip mall anchored by WalMart. I can best describe the interior as "Tropical Sports Bar." It's quite the mix of aviation themed materials with the walls studded either with plastic palm trees or wide-screen televisions. It's not too distracting, although I can't shake the feeling it was to cater to public school teachers. They just love that Jimmy Buffet stuff. As far as the service goes, everyone did their job. It was everything I needed to be seated and served, and have little else to say about it. My meal for the evening was the fish sandwich. I believe it was called the "Splash Landing," or something similar. It has been a few weeks; why not? The two main comments I have are keep the onions on the side and back off on the shredded lettuce. The latter ended up being a big mess, and the onions were too strong for my liking. They were picked off during the course of the meal. The fillet was quite basic, and I assume it was pulled from a freezer and fried. All in all, it was OK. Their dinner plates come with a side of fries, which I didn't finish. They were all undercooked, oily, and unevenly heated. I don't like wasting food, but don't like soggy french fries either. For $6.99, the food seems to be a bit of a letdown. There are other restaurants very close by (i.e. Max & Erma's, Outback, Texas Roadhouse, etc.), and I'd just as soon stop there first. With Urbanspoon giving it a popularity rating of 90% (of 61 people), I guess I'm one of the few not feelin' it.

Unusual, this review will be....for it is actually a PREview! I'm in Califorinia, with lots of relatives and friends in Ohio, in the Findlay area. Owned by Josh Miller, the son of a lifelong friend of mine, JD Miller...and run by his other son, Gabe Miller, I've heard nothing but good things about The Landing Pad, and it sounds like a blast to go to. Being in California I'm pretty spoiled with great places to go. I'll be spending the month of August in Ohio and plan to frequent The Landing Pad, so I'll be basing my eventual REview on more than one sandwich and more than one experience there. Check back the first week in August for my first impressions. Based on what I consider reliable info, I'm rating it at a 4 Star based on enjoyable hearsay!

Delicious! Clean, friendly, etc. I love "buying local" and this is definitely one of my favorite restaurants ever. If I could eat here everyday, afford it, and not gain weight I would! (Ask for James, he's the best waiter ever! Oh & tip him well, he definitely deserves it!

I like sports bars. This is a clean, upbeat, airy, sports bar with really friendly staff, and good pizza, salads, wraps, and wings. Cold beers, TVs, and a wall of windows is a nice addition to open the place up. There's usually a crowd at dinner hour so plan ahead.
