Sat at the bar and chatted with some cool bartenders. I'm new to the area so they gave me great advice on things to do and places to live. Food was typical of OG-- always pleased. If you like OG, this one won't disappoint.

It's been a while since I've eaten at Olive Garden and decided to stop in for dinner tonight with a friend after a basketball game. Hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had here from friendly staff to tasty cuisine. We were greeted and seated right away and our server was very attentive and put forth a genuine effort to make conversation and ensure we were taken care of through the whole meal. I tried the new Northern Tour of Italy. Sooo good! Mushroom fetticini Alfredo, cheese tortellini, and chicken covered in a rich parmesan sauce, yum! I hope this featured special gets added to the menu permanently.

Not that bad, but I'd still rather support private italian restaurants. But you know, my boyfriend and I were quite surprised with the quality of our meals last night. I am not an Olive Garden fan, but I received a $50 gift card, so we decided to go. I ordered the Northern Tour of Italy. I was pleasantly surprised that, unlike previous experiences, everything was decently flavored and was enticing. My boyfriend felt the same way, and we were both taken aback. Now, the only redeeming part of my last experience at an Olive Garden was our one-in-a-million server. She has since moved to Fleming's, because she was that good. I promise, I don't expect top service at Olive Garden...and I have heard about how overworked the servers are, but I was a little disappointed. Last night, our assigned waitress was functional as a server, but neutral in welcoming us. Also, there was another server seemingly adamant on taking our order too... not as an assistant. He was openly disappointed and frusterated when we told him that our server already took our order. I get that table sections are sometimes paired off, but that's not how this seemed at all. It was disorganized and unprofessional. I don't know. I'll come back whenever I receive a gift card.

I got food poisoning from this restaurant. I ended up in the hospital with a diagnosis of salmonella from eating one of their chicken specials. I have not eaten at any Olive Garden since this experience. My advise, go to La Rosas.

This place is A-OK. It sure is popular. I've walked away from the waitlist twice (each time being over 45 minutes) before I actually dined here. And when I did, it was fine. The service was good, and the food didn't blow my mind but it was very decent: Pretty standard Olive Garden fare from what I understand. The main focus will be on this anectdote from the evening. When serving the hot clams and pasta to a lady I was dining with, the waiter sloshed the hot sauce from the bowl onto her hand. It was an accident, understandably, but this lady (whom I had just met and have no allegience to) went on and on and on about it, and the waiter didn't respond to the incident directly, just apologized. Upon the waiter's return for refills this lady brought it up again and the manager had to come out and ended up offering her three things: that her meal be paid for, an additional $30 gift card, and gave her some burn balming lotion that the kitchen staff uses. All this for a very mild burn, understand.. Kudos to the manager for being so nice to a rude customer. The moral of the story I guess: Get burned at Olive Garden and eat twice for free.

Probably the worst Olive Garden I've ever been to. I have only been there twice but I have sworn it off. First time the service was so-so but the food was terrible, it tasted like they had microwaved the chicken. Second visit, service was terrible, waitress spent entire time talking to her friends at the table behind us and didn't pay attention to any other table. Another person in our area asked her a question and she said yes with out checking and later he was charged differently, so the manager was called and the manager didn't do a lot to resolve the situation. The only good thing about the place is that you will get your food fast, but no guarantees that it is eatable

Oh my, this is one of the worst Olive Garden Restaurants that I have been to, yet, I still keep going. Why? I guess, I grew up on the tradition of the Darden Restaurant chain outing in my family as an extravagance, so I tend to have the urge to visit every so often out of sentimentality. I do enjoy their breadsticks and salad, probably for the salt content. Why is this the worst Olive Garden? The service is usually fine which is usually my main complaint in my reviews. The wait on Sundays is terrible which is to be expected of any Olive Garden. So what gives? Well, one of my favourite dishes, the Portabella Mushroom Ravioli proved to be unsafe in one of my last ventures. Apparently, plastic shards somehow made it into either the ravioli or the sauce for the ravioli and I happened to have one of those lucky dishes. This was either a regional or national production problem and they thought they had gotten rid of all the products affected. Apparently not. Thanks for the plastic shards which could have lodged in my throat and killed me or cut my esophagus! They did not serve the Portabella Mushroom Ravioli at that restaurant for a while after that, thanks to me. The next time I went to this Olive Garden, I ordered the new featured dish, the Herb Cheese Stuffed Soffatelli with Braised Beef while my husband ordered the Chicken option. First of all, our salad was soaked, as if it were a soup, in dressing; absolutely disgusting. When we got our entrees, they tasted good in the beginning but the more we ate, the sicker we got. Perhaps they were too rich or maybe it was the salad that got us, though we did not actually eat the salad after realizing it was swimming in dressing. The braised beef was nice and tender and I loved the mushrooms, but I think the cheese stuffed pastries might have overdone the dish and perhaps been the cause of our queasiness. However, I thought perhaps, maybe, just maybe, it was not the food, and we both saved it for home. We did eat our leftovers the next day. Yeah, it was the food. The Soffatelli dishes definitely made us sick to our stomaches and I do not recommend getting it unless you think you can handle it or want to risk getting sick. As for dining at this Olive Garden...well, perhaps I am just unlucky, but beware and dine carefully.

Love this place. We were told we would have a 30 min wait on a Friday evening only to be seated ten minutes later. Food came out ridiculously fast. Food tasted as amazing as it does at all the other Olive Gardens I've been to. My wife and I love Italian and will definitely be returning here.

Great service, best Olive Garden food I have ever had, there is a difference at this place, although I find all of the O.G.'s just fine. The service is superb, the staff works together to make dining comfortable. Several servers, a manager and of course my bartender/server did so much to take care of me. Try dining in the lounge, it is so quiet and relaxing. I did not have money for urban gourmet today, I was hungry and they gave me their best.

My husband and I have come to this location twice since moving to Ohio. The first time we visited was for their Veteran's Day special. My husband is Active Duty and that night, they had a special where Veterans and Active Duty Members got a free entree. Sweet :) The place was PACKED, so we had to wait about an hour to be seated. Once we were seated though, it didn't take long to get our food. Very much appreciated after that long wait. The food was good- nothing special though. Just the type of chain-food Italian you would expect. The service, however was superb. Our waiter was friendly and very attentive, which was especially impressive considering how crazy it was in there! Plus, the manager was coming around and thanking all the veterans and active duty members for their service. And giving them $10 gift cards. So, on top of the free meal for my husband, we got another $10 towards another visit. Wow! That was really great of them :) Our next visit wasn't so super. We came for dinner on a weekend and though it was much less crowded, the service wasn't so super. Which is weird since it was so much better when it was a mad house. Our waiter was nice, but not so attentive. And for some reason, we weren't given a choice of soup or salad with our entrees- just salad. Odd- especially since that last time we came, we had that option. Not sure if they changed that, or if he just didn't bother :/ Overall, though the food isn't super and the service can be hit or miss, I am definitely going to come back. After the generosity they showed to our little military family, they have earned my support and my money.

Not my favorite place for Italian, but I love the salad and breadsticks. We waited quite a while to get our meals, but it was Saturday night after all. The waitress was awesome. She kept our drinks filled. The food was good, we left full.

I've stayed away from the OG chain on principle, after a lousy experience many years ago. I've done a 180 this past week. As part of a luncheon crowd (20+) I was pleasantly surprised at how well the wait staff worked together from start to finish: drinks, orders, then salad and appetizers -- all handled smoothly and at a comfortable pace. Entrees were served to the correct people, attractively plated, and hot. My choice was the chicken & shrimp carbonara: a rare splurge that paid off. The alfredo sauce wasn't remarkable, but in the end I found myself looking up from an empty bowl, sated and happy. Desserts were skipped: nothing particularly appealing on a full stomach.

I have been going to Olive Gardens for years. My husband loves it but I've never been too impressed. His work gave him a gift card before we moved to the area and he really wanted to go there tonight. With all the new places to eat in town that we've never been, I wasn't thrilled that he picked Olive Garden, but I must say, this was one of the best Olive Garden experiences that I've had. The parking lot was packed for a Saturday evening, but surprisingly we didn't have to wait for a table. Our waitress Amanda was great. Very friendly and attentive; checking on us frequently and making sure we were happy with everything. I always get the peach bellini tea and it was the best I've ever had this evening. I got a new chicken dish on the menu and it was quite good. The waiter who brought us our food was great too: noticed we were out of breadsticks and salad and offered to bring more and get a refill on my husband's drink! All in all, the service was great and the food was great. Not authentic Italian by any means, but quite good...one of the best in my long history at various Olive Gardens. The only negative was that there was a young girl working at the front who was greeting and seating people was making a [negative] comment to a fellow worker about how a patron was dressed behind the patron's back. I know that employees probably talk about customers frequently to each other, but I didn't think it was appropriate that she was speaking loud enough for us to hear it. A little unprofessional. Otherwise great experience. Will return again and hope to have an equally pleasing meal and service.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
