great place! service was fast (not necessarily friendly, which is ok, its fast food). it was classic KK. I was in a sugar coma in 5 minutes, only balanced with a large cup of joe. That is the experience I am looking for out of KK. I only go when they are hot.

I was given the choice this morning of Tim Hortons or Krispy Kreme. Krispy Kreme! There's just something about being able to watch the doughnuts sliding down the conveyor belt and wishing that somehow you could just buy the glaze all bottled up. We got a dozen assorted and a latte and ate them there. The latte was decent but not great, but then again, Krispy Kreme is not known for their doughnuts. The custard filled is my favorite but the Valentine's Day Heart ones with sprinkles are a fun treat! The service was friendly and there wasn't many other people there.

My oh my where do we begin??? The donuts are a class act as always. Pure sugary sweet bliss. Gosh I drool just thinking about them... Service? Um yeah not so much. The girl working had the personality of a wet noodle. Sad but true. We called before coming to make sure they were open and that they indeed were a retail outlet (we had called another number before to see if they were open and apparently it was like corporate or something.) The girl on the phone did not know if they were a store...um. ok. When we got there I noticed there was signage to join "Friends of Krispy Kreme" so I asked her what that was (in my heart secretly hoping for a free donut club!) Her response? "I don't know. You get emails about donuts or something." I ended my conversation with her right there. No point in expending any more energy on this meaningless jabber. We will be back because I like Krispy Kreme donuts....certainly not based on service.

Seriously disappointed. I've been to Krispy Kreme's all over the country. Whoever owns this place gives the brand a bad name. The donuts are half the size and at 11:45 am we got stale donuts. Seriously must've been from the day before. Get it together people...

Anyone who reads my reviews is going to think I'm the size of a cruise liner based on the places I eat, but I will tell you.. If Krispy Kreme Donuts are the reason my waist line is ever too large then so be it. I will be that morbidly obese woman with the jelly in both creases of my cheeks if it'll keep the delicious goodness of a Krispy Kreme in business. I am a Cincy gal, but will drive all the way to Dorothy Ln on occasion to pick up a fresh dozen every now and again. I joke alot, but I have never found another place with donuts as good as this place. The first time I was lucky enough to taste a "warm now" donut I wanted to quit my job, spend my savings and start a KK franchise of my own. Until, I realized I'd be bankrupt in about a week from eating all the profits.. yikes. Well that dream has gone to the wayside, but the desire to eat the donuts has not. The only thing I've noticed that could even remotely be a complaint is that the jelly donuts are my absolute fave. At some locations the Jelly is more like a Gel and that makes me a saaaaaaaad girl. I've emailed them about this, since I take my jelly consumption very seriously and they swear that it's the same recipe at all locations. Hmm... I beg to differ KK. I beg to differ. Maybe I'll ponder over it while I'm stuffing my face with a chocolate glazed donut.. Yeah. that's exactly what I'm gonna do.

After reading a review several days ago on Krispy Kreme, I just couldn't get them out of my mind. I used to pick them up on routine basis on the way to work, but no longer drive by there. So yesterday morning I decided to go out my way and pick some up for the entire office. When I pulled into the drive-thru there was only 1 car in front of me - Yes!!! I'm a winner, I think to myself. I placed my order for the boxed assorted and 2 lemon filled in a separate bag and was told how much to pay. I love lemon filled...they really take me to my happy place. I'm so pleased I broke my routine and I'm here!!! 5 minutes later I'm still sitting there and so is the car in front of me. I take a deep breath and think about how I'm going to enjoy my donuts. They finally hand the car in front a small bag and it pulls ahead. Yes...it's my turn. Doing the happy dance as I pull to the window. I can see 4 people running into each other in there...it's actually kinda funny in a cluster way. Finally one of them opens the window takes my money (I had it ready). Then hands some back to me...wait a minute?? I ordered "assorted and a bag with two lemon filled", I say. He said " right... here's your lemon I'll get your glazed" I repeat "assorted". "Oh, assorted" he said and closed the window. Here's where you can get annoyed or just go with a day you already planned to be happy. These are someone's kids, and you gotta love them because they're trying here instead of sleeping in every morning. So I just laugh it off. I'm still laughing 5 minutes later when I got my boxed assorted and another bag with two lemon filled. So I got to have extra donuts which I ate this morning and extra money back. Life is good.

I drove 2 hours from Cincinnati to eat at this Krispy Kreme...and it was worth it! About five years ago, all of the Krispy Kremes disappeared from the Cincinnati area, leaving me to drive to Dayton for some doughnutty goodness. Like most establishments, this place rolls donuts hot off the line for customers to eat. Mmmm! By chance, I arrived at perfect timing. I'm a big fan of the Boston Creme donuts (chocolate icing with creme filling.) Custard filled is okay too. The hardest to find, and my all-time favorite is lemon filled. I popped in here one night and they had two kinds of lemon donuts! Ahhh! One was jelly filled, the other glazed on top. Both were good, but I'm partial to the lemon jelly. Whenever I'm in Dayton (or feel like a 2-hour drive), I always make it a point to stop at Krispy Kreme! Please come back to Cincinnati!!!

My first one star review... I don't think I want to make this one long so I'll make it short and not so sweet. Two reasons why I gave it one star: - No free doughnut for military on Veterans Day? Really? All I wanted was one free donut, I was prepared to buy a dozen more! No thanks, I don't want one, I'll pass then. - Their fresh and hot sign was on, but the donuts were definitely not fresh or hot... Boo... The little things make all the difference.

I drove up from Cincinnati to buy some coffee and donuts, and they were out of regular coffee. How does a donuts store run out of coffee, bad management.
