I thought it was really good. Chef salad and Italian sub with mushrooms and onions was tasty and lightly breaded fries were awesome. 1rst time here but not the last. older crowd, asked for some music and they immediately put it on, the bartender Ben was very knowledgeable and checked on us without annoying us. He's probably one of there biggest assets. Margarita was soso, old fashion was very good. Strange smell in vestibule almost made me leave at arrival. Glad I stayed.

Great place. I stop by there sometimes for lunch when I'm between my two jobs. It's a very cozy place, great food, and friendly atmosphere. Love the popcorn and potato skins.

We decided to check out Geez since we hadn't been there before and found it sort of by accident while driving around, thought it might be a nice little tucked away gem. The first thing we noticed was that the crowd was a little older, not necessarily bad thing, just an observations. We were greeted and seated promptly, the décor was a little out of date but not a big deal there either, I don't mind some dated furniture if the food and service are good. For a bar, the menu was pretty good, there was everything from steak to burgers, fish, salads, etc. I decided to go with the fish filet, fries, and a coleslaw, the wife ordered the potato skins. The coleslaw was brought out first and from the first bite I knew I probably wouldn't like the rest of the food, turned out to be correct. The coleslaw didn't taste very fresh and had sort of a slimy consistency, I ate a few bites and was done, it was not very good at all. When my fish arrived it was in one of those shapes that looked like it came right out of a box in the frozen section of the grocery store, like a triangle. The flavor was very heavy with grease, like either the grease in the fryer hadn't been changed in a while or the fish just sat there and soaked it up, not very good. The fries were ok, that was about it. My wife's potato skins were pretty decent she said, a little too much cheese on them but they weren't bad. The best part of the meal was the mint they brought after dinner, got rid of the bad taste from the greasy fish and slimy coleslaw. We probably won't be coming back here, just didn't have any redeeming qualities in our opinion.

Not bad at all. Taco Salad was actually tasty and the Blue Moon with Jamisons.hit the spit on a cold rainey night. Bar is a mix of ages (not all old) and service was good. Not overly friendly but hey, this ain't the South.

I was here this evening with a group of girlfriends and we had a wonderful experience. The place is small on the inside so if you want to get a seat get there early especially on Friday nights. This is a place you can go with friends or family to have a nice evening. They offer free popcorn, which seems to be a big hit. Our service was wonderful. The waitress was so nice and helpful. We had a group of 10 and one of the girls in the party called a few days in advance to reserve seats. She had no problem getting us a table reserved even on a busy Friday night. The food is great too. I had the Baked Italian Sandwich with a side order of steak fries and it was delicious! Others at my table had the Fish & Chips, two of the different salads, and the French Dip Sandwich. Everyone was raving about their food and how good it was. The salads are huge portions that come with lots of fresh produce. This is definitely a hidden gem I am glad I found.

Neighborhood family owned pub. They have large screen TV's showing all the big games around the pub so you don't miss any sports action. Local high school students welcome you, serve as hostesses and seat you right away. We were welcomed by college aged wait staff right after we were seated. He took our drink orders right away, my Dad and I enjoyed a 22 oz Yuengling served in an ice cold frosty mug. They have a variety of sandwiches and pizza's on their menu. Plus a few dinner specials. Their soups are homemade, I saw southwest chicken stew was the soup of the day, I asked the server about how it was made, he asked if I wanted a sample, which he brought out right away. It was watery rather than a thick stew consistency, which I appreciated him offering the sample. I ordered a grilled turkey with provolone with crinkle cut fries. My Dad ordered an Italian sub and Mom ordered a her own creation pizza. The food came within 10 minutes and then our server checked on us multiple times, making sure our food was okay and if we needed anything else, refills, extra napkins. Families have come to this pub for years and there were regulars at the bar. A popular destination after an Alter or Centerville game. This was my first visit. I'm all for visiting the local pub rather than a chain any day and will return.

Worst service ever. Staff was incredibly rude. Very pushy. I'll be telling everyone I know to keep driving and find another place whenever they visit.

Great food, fast service! Family run. Very friendly. Much older crowd here(50+). That's old to me. Had the pork chops. They were fantastic!

I went to Geez last night with a couple of friends. The waitress was friendly, competent, and fast. All three of us enjoyed our food very much. I had the Italian sausage and spaghetti and loved the spiciness of the sausage. The reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of 5 is that they have a no-firearms sign posted on their front door. I support their right to do that, however misguided they may be, but I won't go there again until the sign is taken down. That sign covers concealed-carry permit holders, and also covers off-duty police officers.

This family owned grill is wonderful. It is the kind of place you can go with the family or with friends to watch the game and have a beer. The popcorn machine is always a big hit. The nachos, pizza and burgers are favorites of ours. A favorite with the those of us that live so close we could almost walk, but we drive! Stop by and say hi to Nick and his family!

The atmosphere is great and the food is also great. I recommend the wings and the fried buffalo chicken sandwich.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
