I recently came here for lunch with some people from work. I am not from Dayton and am not really familiar with a lot of places to eat. The idea to come down to the 2nd Street Market sounded nice since I would be able to choose from a few different food vendors in one place. I settled on Arepas & Co. and was quite satisfied with what I ate. I ordered the patacon with pork, beans and corn topped with cilantro sauce and habanero hot sauce. The patacon is fried pieces of plantain and this serves as the base of the meal with everything else piled on top. Everything was really tasty although I will say that I did not find the habanero sauce to be that hot. I would have hoped that if something was advertised as habanero sauce that it would be at least pretty hot. If someone doesn't want hot sauce then they shouldn't order the habanero sauce. Overall, I was very satisfied with the meal and I would eat here again. I might try to visit their restaurant location.
