I love wings over Columbus! Started going here in college- haven't stopped. Boneless wings and cajun/garlic parm waffle fries with a big cup of cheese! I like the Cruising Altitude sauce with a large side of ranch. Their delivery speed is insane! Highly recommended!

So so wings... Went by the yelp reviews and was disappointed. Had the boneless wins in garlic sauce. Meh... Have had far better ones.

If you are craving the best wings in Columbus, there is no substitute. Wings Over Columbus has giant wings and are always perfectly cooked with the perfect amount of sauce. I've ordered from places that are a bit cheaper, but there really is no comparison to the quality of these wings. Kickin' BBQ is a great flavor, it combines the spice of Cruising Altitude with the sweetness of Honey BBQ. Highly recommend.

Having a girl's night and our delivery was very prompt, food still crispy and it was delish! Plus our delivery guy was THE BEST!

On a second chance, the place is still ran by a bunch of cheap dicks. After attempting to order 50$ worth of food and receiving some of the worst service I've ever encountered in my life, they refused not pile the order of fries on my burger essentially ensuring that my family's food is soggy. As i order there multiple times a month they them proceed to call me a liar even though I assure them they've been doing it for me for months. I have call logs and receipts, and pictures. The food isn't worth having to deal with the joke behind the register that is rude as all hell, or the manager that will call you a liar. Hopefully I can get in touch with corporate to let them know how this location is being ran. What a joke.

Pretty good but if you order the fries go light on the seasoning. It's a little salty. Wings are amazing and covered in sauce. Can't complain. Servers are usually pretty friendly and cool too.

  • Lukus T.

soggy wings, soggy fries, and I'm sorry, if your local neighborhood Applebee's offers a hotter buffalo sauce than your "afterburner," I'll kindly pass. my roommate years ago obsessed over this place and I remember being "meh" about it then, and I'm even more "meh" now. fries were decent. delivery was fast! but hot wings need to be HOT! would be three stars but wimpy wings annoy me to no end, particularly when that is your name sake.

Great and tasty wings with a very wide variety of sauces. The wing skin has that classic crisp while not being too dry. Very quick and friendly service too. Also, don't make the same mistake I did and realize that, while awesome, it's Carryout only.

One of the best wings in Columbus according to my list. must try flavors, Seven peppers, Mustang Ranch, Honey Mustard, Onion BBQ. Delivery service always within 30 minutes, and customer can order online which I like the most! and don't forget if order online, can get points which can be used to get free wings!! wings wings wings, then more wings!! if you like wings, must try wings over columbus.

Delicious delivered boneless wings, cannot be beat. The medium sauce is great, a bit of heat, and the Sweet Thai Chile is fantastic. And who can say no to waffle fries, so good.

  • Amber S.

Are you in the mood to indulge in meaty wings? This is a good option for you. The Cruising Altitude buffalo flavor has a little spice to it. I haven't tried any of their other sauces. The onion rings are the battered kind and hold up well. They've never been a soggy mess by the time I get home. I can't speak about their delivery service - I've only done carryout orders. They package everything in black (black containers and black plastic bags), usually with an unnaturally strong twist to the bag so you have to fit your way into the package.

  • Hazel V.

Great food. Really annoying that they consistently forget silverware, napkins, and extra ranches their delivery.

I frickin' love this place. Every time my girlfriend order we are blown away at 1) how inexpensive it is, 2) how quick the delivery is, and 3) how awesome the food is. Their hours are great, too, Don't listen to guy complaining about the wings not being crispy. I like my wings crispy too, but the fact of the matter is that if they sit in sauce long enough while steaming themselves inside the container, they will not likely not be very crispy by the time they are delivered. This goes for ANYWHERE. So, here's the trick if you want ensure crispiest wings possible: GET THE WINGS NAKED WITH YOUR SAUCES ON THE SIDE. The wings will stay super crispy. Then just toss the wings and sauce a bowl to coat, or leave the sauce on the side and dunk. The Caesar salad is the best Caesar salad I've ever had delivered by any place. The dressing is great. The waffle fries are wonderful, and they also manage to stay crispy through delivery. We get them plain and dunk them in cheese sauce. Their wings are the best I've ever had. They are better than BW3's wings and better than Rooster's wings. I'm not even joking -- these delivery wings are better than any sit-down wing joint that i know of. Like I said, get the sauce on the side if you want the wings to stay extra crispy.

Here's a tip: don't buy the 15 wing option (the "F-16"). Ten wings is $7.99, or $4 per 5 wings. The 15 wing costs 12.49, which is greater than 4 dollars per 5 wings. It's the only option that doesn't get you a bulk discount. Cheap marketing trick; don't get got! Anyway, we get takeout from here since we live outside of the delivery radius. I get bone in wings and ask for the sauce on the side (found this keeps them crispier on the drive home). They are delicious. They are huge. They are deeply satisfying when you are ten miller lights deep and it's 2 am. One of my favorite spots ever for chicken wings. Again, sauce on the side= crispier wings. Again, the 15 wing option has the highest marginal cost.

  • Mark M.

+ fresh wings - can't get wings extra crispy, long wait at store I like my wings crispy, and I told the Wings Over guy that when we walked in and ordered 25 wings (half Honey BBQ/ half Buffalo Crusin) last night. He said they could "try" which through me

I like their sauces. Afterburner is excellent. Delivery is usually pretty quick.

Today's Deal... The "Nothing Special, Special!" 4 Tiny, dried, jerky-like chicken tenders, burnt to perfection, with blandsauce and dressing to add taste and a side of un-seasoned seasoned, freezer burnt fries all for JUST $11.

  • Evalyn C.

We've ordered take out from Wings a few times now and the food has been consistently tasty. The wings are bigger than a lot of places, the sauces more plentiful too. We ordered the waffle fries with a garlic parm seasoning and they were super delicious. I look forward to trying them more in the future.

This is some of the best fried chicken/wings in Columbus. Hands down. It may not be Hot Chicken Takeover, but it's totally delicious. I first ran across Wings Over when visiting friends at Uconn about 6 years ago instantly fell in love. We'd order 150 wings with all types of flavors, and they deliver to your door! This was the first time I'd seen a place dedicated to wings that delivered. Skip ahead years later when I moved back to Columbus, and I soon found out that there was now a Wings Over Columbus. Amazing. I now only order the boneless wings, which are really giant chicken tenders, because they're so juicy and fried perfectly. You really can't go wrong with the sauces, but I always make sure to get the Mustang Ranch. It's a dry rub and one of the best wing flavors I've ever had. The Jamaican Jerk, Cajun Blackened, Cajun BBQ, and Spicy Teriyaki are all favorites as well. The waffle fries are delicious with the ranch or cajun seasoning on it. These guys deliver pretty late, and they are super fast. I'd say deliveries usually take about 20-30 minutes tops before I'm enjoying a container of wings. You won't be able to dine in here, but you can call in for pick up. If you haven't tried this place by now, then you're really missing out.

You cannot ask anything more of a chicken wing/sandwich place. Amazing service. Orders always arrive quick and steaming hot.

Stopped in on my way to work, a little unsure of where I would actually eat since they don't have dine-in. I thought about going to campus but parking is crazy. Walking up, I decided to use a bench nearby or steal a spot at Piada. But inside, there are two stools at a counter so I used one. I had called ahead, having done my research on Yelp, so my order was ready when I got there. Service was okay. The wings? Pretty darn good. I had a combo, the "Hangar One," a "DC-10" (a pound of boneless wings) with fries and a drink. I got half and half chipotle and hot garlic sauces. The chicken was tender, with a nice crispy coating well-covered in sauce. Plenty of food; it says serves 1-2 and they're right. The fries (I upgraded to waffle fries, with 7-pepper spice dusting) were very good. Pop is in cans, and pretty expensive. The whole meal wasn't exactly cheap, but it was good and there was plenty of it. If something like this had been around when I was in college I would have been broke.

Jeremy is the best delivery man ever! He was so kind and he did a great job. It was a super quick delivery, more than 20 minutes before the planned time. 5 stars for jeremy!!!

    (5)
  • Ava N.

Great selection of wings and extras! We got a few sauces and they were all amazing. I got Cajun waffle fries which I'm not sure what I expected but they were evenly covered in spices which was nice and good flavor. Fast delivery too!

Wow just wow......I graduated six years ago and am just now getting around to reviewing this place. One world "unbelievable". Our whole house came to this place at least once a week in college and always were 100% satisfied. One guy liked the place so much we just refer to wings over as "Bubien" now. Aircraft Carrier yes please. I mean they are open till 3 am and deliver. We always go with the boneless and cajun waffle fries. As far as flavors go there are like 20 and probably all good, but I have to go with the honey mustard, hot garlic, sweet onion BBQ, and one of the buffalo sauces depending on how hot you want them. Not a day goes by that I do not miss this place. I never miss going there when I come up. Not much else to say, but I could eat at this place every day. Fat kids dream! I have not been to a wing place that even comes close on the sauce flavors anywhere in Houston. I will be up in Columbus next week and will be ordering extra just to drive it to my buddy when I visit him in Cleveland!

    (5)
  • Aric G.

Best wings in Columbus hands down!!! but double check your order they have been known to mess up your order. Golden BBQ is the best! Besides a few misses in my order the food is always good.

    (3)
  • Candace M.

I learned from my mistake last time and recognized that a Wings restaurant is best when you want just that; wings! We got their honey mustard boneless wings; delicious! I still wish the sauce coated the wings a little better but as long as you go in with the "I'm going to be dipping these in the sauce that fell off of them" mentality, you're good to go. They were delicious. So good that I'm kind of kicking myself for not eating more yesterday and/or taking the leftovers from my boyfriend's fridge for lunch today. Still drooling over them! We picked them up and they were piping hot and ready to go as promised. No complaints, and we'll be returning!

I tried it for the first time last night, and I needed to go again. They are fast, friendly, and delicious!

Wings Over Columbus is my favorite wing chain in the Columbus. It easily trumps BWW when it comes to boneless wings. They have great boneless wings. I would more than likely call them chicken tenders because they are HUGE. My go to is the DC-3. It is a half pound of chicken wings with the sauce of your choice. They give you plenty of dressing on the side so you won't run out. My favorite sauce is the buffalo. The delivery guys have always been really friendly and it is always here when they say it will be or earlier. The best part about this place is hands down the waffle fries. Waffle fries in general are amazing but these ones are super crunchy and never soggy. You can even add seasonings and rubs to give them an extra kick. Don't forget to order them even if it means leftovers!

  • Xan S.

I love these wings, boneless and bone in. I prefer the dry rubs on the bone in and the sauce on the boneless. People are always nice, delivery time has always been less than estimated, and the food is delicious. My new favorite thing is the waffle fries with the mesquite dry rub on them with a side of cheese sauce. I really shouldn't be eating like i'm still in college, but this place is so decadently perfect. Things to know - - Have your credit card ready for the delivery person. They check it to make sure you're the actual card holder. -Delivery or carry out only. Don't expect to eat here. It's just a counter and a drink cooler inside. -They don't have actual cheese slices for the chicken sandwiches. If you order cheese, it will be cheez sauce. Which is delicious on the fries, but not so much on a sandwich, if you ask me. -They don't honor requests for orders of only one form of wing, i.e. flappers only or drums only. But, they are pretty good at a 50/50 mix. My ONLY complaint is they never read my delivery instructions. I ask for the bell to be rung to ensure I hear them, but they always knock. I've started just being next to the door when the website tells me the order is on the way. Which by the way is a very cool feature, the real time status of your order!

Ok I admit sometimes I don't feel like a lady and just want to order a bunch of wings and just nom nom on delicious chicken goodness. I also prefer traditional wings, meat on bones are always better. I think the price is pretty decent, 8 bucks for 10 wings and cheap sides, and when they say jumbo they mean it. Cons are probably the flavors. One time me and my friends ordered like 50 wings with so many different flavors, but for some reason they all pretty much taste the same.

I don't usually write reviews, but this restaurant has the Best Honey BBQ boneless wings ever.

  • Ak S.

Went on a monday night. Ordered pickup. Honey bbq boneless wings and waffle fries with cheese. Food was ready quick, 10 minutes, got in and out of the store in 2 minutes. The chicken was fresher and bigger than bww, and the waffle fries tasted good wit all three condiments, ketchup ranch cheese. Will be back

After moving to Columbus i needed a new place chicken wing place. After trying 3-4 other places this is now my go to spot. The sauce is very good(I like bw3 sauce better, but the actual wings are better quality) and the actual wing is great too. The wings are good size, bigger than bw3 and have great breading, and are consistent every time i order them. The first place i tried was WingSpot since it was closer, i was surpised at the low quality of the wings with the fact that it was their main menu item. They compared to dominoes or pizza hut wings. I love hot wings and would absolutely recommend giving this place a try.

  • Paulett L.

I like to order from here while I'm at work. The hours of operation are great because I work third shift. The delivery is super fast. Not to mention, the wings are amazing. I often get the full Caesar salad with boneless chicken (Jamaican jerk flavored) with Caesar dressing. So delicious!

  • Matt W.

One nice thing about moving closer to the Campus area is that suddenly, Wings Over is a viable dinner option. The wings are huge, the sauces are tasty, and the fries aren't bad. I know they have other stuff (ribs, sammiches, salads), but somehow it never happens. We look at the great combo prices for the Wings, and we order. (Seriously, you can get 25 wings and a large fry for $20 out the door. How crazy is that?) I'm just outside their delivery area, but I don't mind the drive over - usually if I place a carry out order over the phone or online, it's ready when I pull up to their door. If they ever added space to actually sit down and eat, BW3 and Winking Lizard would be in serious trouble!

  • Will P.

Pretty good Some of my co-workers were ordering WOC and I was on the way out so I decided to place an order to take home. Ordered the DC-10 (1lb of boneless wings) and large waffle fries. I thought it was pretty expensive (15.98 for wings and fries) but hey at least it was ready when I arrived for pickup. Took it home and dug in. The waffle fries were a good bite, especially with the supplied ketchup. I ordered the sweet onion bbq sauce on my boneless wings and it was alright. Did not stand out, but I enjoyed them all the same. A nice wings option in town.

    (3)
  • LJ W.

Just got a takeout order from Wings Over Columbus and I was pleased with my order. I ordered some traditional Honey BBQ wings and a side of waffle fries. The Wings were a decent size (a little smaller than Rooster's) and they were sauced nicely. The waffle fries could have been better, tasted like that had been sitting for a little while. Next time I will try the Teriyaki wings. Wings 1-5=4. Waffle Fries 1-5=3.

I discovered this place in college and have been getting it ever since. They have my favorite boneless wings of all time! The chicken is good quality, the sauce has great flavor, and they don't skimp. They also have the fastest delivery I have ever seen. From hanging up the phone they were once at my door in 7 minutes!

    (5)
  • Netanel A.

The boneless wings are deliciously addicting and very filling. The delivery time is great making the whole experience perfect. They are by far better than Bdubs.

    (5)
  • Stephen S.

Best boneless wings I've ever had hands down. Try honey BBQ or Jamaican jerk, both amazing. Prices are somewhat high but it's all worth it considering the portions and taste. I get the hangar 1 for myself and it's plenty of food, hard to even finish most of the time. But then again, it's easy to finish considering how good it is. I have yet to try the ribs or traditional wings yet. That's next on the list. Delivery is super fast and free! Service is good, but no place to dine in its a carryout kind of place only. Would recommend to anyone with taste buds!

  • Craig G.

Take out and delivery only...no dine in provisions. The wing are good...in fact, very good. I thought their "Hot Garlic" sauce was outstanding. And they offer dozens of different flavors and level of heat. They also offer other food as well, like ribs (?) and burgers, but i only had the wings. However, Ive 3 issues with them... 1. They need to drain more. All the wings are placed in a Styrofoam container, and the sauce pools in the bottom, making those wings soggy. 2. Distribution. Out of our 20 wing order, there were only 5 drummies...all the rest were flappers. Methinks they offset "drummie only" orders by shortchanging everybody else. 3. Price. $16 for 20 wings is a little steep, but they offer free delivery, so if your picking up, your paying for the delivery overhead. I might try them again sometime to try some different flavors.

  • Kiara E.

Love it here!!! One of my favorite spots!!! They sell the chicken by the weight not the Number of pieces. Always tender and juicy!!! Only downside I hate the waffle fries...a lot.

    (4)
  • Colleen R.

This is probably my favorite wing place in Columbus. They have really fast delivery, huge wings and good sauces. I love the honey mustard. I order from here frequently and have always received a hot, correct order.

    (4)
  • Kevin K.

Boneless wings are the best. Fries with Cajun seasoning are good addition. Delivery is fast. I think wings are never frozen and that's what contributes to the taste.

  • Vanessa B.

The Food here is great, but the customer service is lacking. I ordered my usual over the phone, a Jamaican Jerk Fried Chicken Wrap, no tomato. The employee didn't repeat back my order, but that didn't bother me. Jamaican Jerk doesn't sound like any other flavor and there was nothing complex about my request. When my wrap got to me, I discovered that it was "plain" aka no flavor, no sauce, just a piece of chicken in a tortilla. Who orders that? I called and asked politely if they could send out some Jamaican Jerk sauce, since they screwed up my order, and they spent my phone conversation insisting that I was to blame and making excuses as to why they couldn't just send me some sauce. I ended up getting a $2.00 credit to my account. I already paid 8 for the sauceless wrap and I'm not exactly sure what $2.00 does for me. I'm pretty upset and pretty sure I won't be ordering from them again anytime soon.

Best wings in Columbus, and they deliver!!! Very fair prices, no delivery charge, makes this my go-to for a meal delivered - and open late!

    Great wings! Great for lunch!

  • Danny F.

Don't waste your time with the bone in, the boneless wings are amazing. Roommates and I order them 1 to 3 times a week sometimes. Citrous chipotle, cajun teriyaki and Caribbean jerk are my flavors of choice. Delivery is always fast too.

  • Tony B.

Fast, fresh and tasty food with a good ethic and lots of flavors. Will certainly eat there again.

  • David S.

Besides the beloved human beings in Columbus, I miss this place SO much! Don't waste your time with the other flavors, just stick to their buffalo wings.

  • Matthew B.

Just a quick update to remind myself that a 4-star review for this place is a crime. I still haven't had better chicken fingers, anywhere, ever, and certainly never delivered to my home. The next place I move to NEEDS to be in the delivery zone of this place. For THREE YEARS now I have gone without except for the extremely rare pick-up. I weep. EAT MORE WINGS OVER, YA MAGGOTS!

    (5)
  • Sarah S.

I have to admit, I may not be the best person to review this place, because I'm not a really big fan of wings. Eating things directly of off skeleton parts grosses me out on a deep, visceral level, and I've had too many experiences with weird cartilage pockets in boneless wings to really trust them too often. But on the flip side, I absolutely, with my whole heart, adore and crave buffalo sauce. Luckily for me, Wings Over has both a series of buffalo sauces (ranging from "Wimpy" to "Afterburner" in intensity) and a great alternative to wings: a broiled chicken wrap. It's very simple, and honestly it would probably be very easy to make at home (just grilled/broiled chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, tortilla and sauce), but it always hits the spot when a craving strikes. The wrap, with Red Alert buffalo sauce and a side of waffle fries, is my go-to meal for hangover healing. One day, perhaps I'll be feeling whimsical and I'll try one of their many, many other sauces. But, today was not that day.

really good wings , and they deliver , great choice if you are working night shift :) they are open late .

  • Matthew L.

Wait... Meaty boneless wings.. Great sauces and dry rubs... FREE DELIVERY?? Okay, thanks? I love BW3's sauces -- but their wings are small. I like Quaker Steak & Lubes wings -- but their sauces aren't very good. The cajun dry rub here is great; I've only had it delivered, so I can't speak to the actual location, but the food is very good.

    (4)
  • Mae T.

This has been my go to place when I'm craving wings for the past 2 years. The wings are huge and well seasoned. I prefer the dry rubs over the sauces, especially the garlic parm and 5-pepper.

    (4)
  • Jen S.

Great wings made fast and fresh! My bff ordered some wings on her iphone and we went to pick them up. They were amazing! Crispy yet juicy and very meaty. The chipotle flavored were fantastic and highly recommended. The waffle fries are also an indulgence worth the (lack of) nutrition. Can't wait to earn another trip here. Talk about gym motivation! =)

  • Ben B.

The weird thing about WOC is that their regular wings (i.e. cayenne pepper and vinegar) are actually pretty subpar. They're supposed to be splashed in butter and then coated in hot sauce. The important butter step is missed here. Where the do excel... everything else. Standard wings are big. Boneless wings are big and of fairly high quality. Their other sauces (and they have a respectable section) are great. They have waffle fries that can be seasoned with 4 or 5 variations, making them pretty noteworthy. Their ribs are pretty good, not great, but you can actually get the ribs with golden BBQ (otherwise known as Carolina Mustard BBQ). Getting Carolina style ribs, in Ohio... amazing. They deliver fast AND they're on SloopyMenus.com so I can even order from my computer. By the by, anyone suggesting you go to BW3's for good wings is not a friend or a credit-worthy judge of wings... I'm looking at you, Peter C.

wings over columbus is a great place to get your wing fix.... they serve portions by the LB... and thats always comforting... as ive ben to resturants before where the wings were sold by quantity- and i learned the hard way.. not all wings are created equally sized.. the menu options are named after various fighter jets- and bombers...its slightly confusing.. but there is a brief discription so shouldent be to much of an issue... i tried the afterburner sauce..as i was told it was "a little hotter than the cruising altitude sauce"... well if it is slightly hotter- then the cruising sauce must be slightly higher.. than the average cruising altitude because it was spicey.. and made my lips tingle.. wich wasnt all to bad. overall great spot.. and would be GREAT for a large buckeye tailgate party as they have huge party options...

Nice take out! I order from this place a lot at work and it never fails!!! Fast delivery and awesome wings!

  • Kelly B.

I order from here at least once a month and always order online. The website has a neat tracking thing and my delivery is always so fast it surprises me. Once I got my food within 12 minutes of ordering! (Although I do live pretty close) The chicken is delicious, huge bone-in wings, and all of the sauces are pretty good. My favorites are the sweet chili and the spicy BBQ. My order has never been wrong and they've never forgotten my sauces (one of the only delivery places that hasn't.)

    (5)
  • Rich S.

Killer hand breaded chicken fingers and lightening quickly delivery until 3 AM. Don't worry about the delivery taking a toil on the quality, these things are still crispy the next day. The bone in wings, ribs, etc. are meh. They need to upgrade their blue cheese asap.

I loooove wings. I really do. And I can be pretty picky about them. But Wings Over Columbus has some of the best in the city in my opinion. Wings Over Columbus is just a little place wedged inbetween stores out by the Shops on Lane Avenue near Upper Arlington. It's very hard to miss because it's so small. Since they're all the way out there, they don't deliver to my area (Short North). So I decided to pick some up tonight. But usually, Wings Over Columbus delivers their wings. You can't eat there because the place is too small so this is definitely an eat-at-home experience. They don't even have tables in there or anything. So either order them by phone or skip tipping the delivery guy and pick them up yourself. They don't deliver in my area and it's kind of a trek up there to go get some wings. Good for students on campus, but bad for me. Their menu consists of wings, of course, including boneless, sides like fries and onion rings, salads, wraps, sandwiches and burgers. They also offer full racks of ribs. This wasn't my first time eating from Wings Over Columbus, so I've had several different kinds of their wing sauces, but I've only tried their regular wings. They have over 20 different flavors to choose from. They have some really interesting sounding ones, such as Oriental Sesame. But tonight I had the Kickin' BBQ, a spicy BBQ sauce. It was really good - tangy but it still had that spicy kick that I crave. I've also had the Garlic Parmesan, which isn't spicy at all but quite tasty and full of flavor, and the Hot Garlic, a spicy garlicy feast. I've really liked all the sauces I've tried. They have regular "buffalo style" sauce, and it comes in five different levels of hotness. I've tried the Red Alert, which is in the middle, and it was also pretty good, even though I don't usually like buffalo sauce. The Afterburner is their hottest sauce is you are brave enough to try it! Their menu titles everything using aviation terms. The smallest wing meal is the "Paper Airplane," which is 7 wings, all the way to the "C-5 Galaxy," which is 120 wings! There's a good size for everyone here. The wings come with one cup of your choice of dipping sauce. I got ranch, but you can also get bleu cheese, stuff like that. I think you have to pay extra if you want more than what they give you. They also give you a few slices of celery. The celery was really fresh and their ranch dressing is really good. Tonight I tried Wing's Over Columbus's waffle fries. Waffle fries are always good. The waffle fries only come in one size, which is one pound of fries. I thought this was going to be a really ridiculous amount, but it wasn't quite as much as I thought. I was definitely more than I could eat, but guys could likely easily devour the whole thing. Your can get different flavors on your waffle fries or you can just get them plain. I got the garlic parmesan. For an extra dollar they add cheese on top. (The fries are $4, with cheese, $5) They were good, but the garlic flavor was made right on the fries and it was a little much. I'm still tasting garlic. They were good, it was just a little weird. And the cheese was good, but I think it would have tasted better on plain fries than the garlic parmesan. Either way, the fries were crisp and were high-quality. I probably won't get that flavor again, but I'm pretty sure I'll still get waffle fries. I should mention that the fries came with a cup of ketchup, so that's nice just in case you don't have any at home. Wings Over Columbus has combo meals that come with drinks so they're good for groups. I kind of wanted to try one, but they all come with too much food. And you're not allowed to make any substitutions with them, so maybe someday. The prices really aren't bad. With my 10 piece wings and my fries it was about $12, but I only ate half of what I had so the rest is another meal tomorrow. It was $7 for 10 wings, and that seems pretty close to what you would pay for wings anywhere else. I think this place offers a pretty good value, especially when it comes to the quality of the wings. The wings are covered in plenty of sauce - they are never dry. You will get really messy eating these things because there's so much sauce. And the wings are really meaty - no skimpy wings that are mostly bones. You really get what you pay for in that respect. The way they are cooked leaves them with the perfect amount of crispiness, I think. They aren't too crispy but they aren't mushy, either. The quality of the wings is what puts them over the top over a lot of other wing joints. They are open pretty late, so if you're needing a late-night snack, this is a good place to go. During the week they aren't open during the day, so it's probably not the best place to think about for lunch unless it's the weekend. I probably also wouldn't expect them to be very speedy on a game day since it's so near campus. And FYI, during Ohio State holiday breaks they have different hours and aren't open as late.

When I've ordered by phone and drove to the site to pick up the order, the staff was the most rude I have ever found. I did this twice and got the same response....no "thank you" or anything. They gave me the impression I was doing them a favor by ordering from them. I recently decided to order online and was given the message that the order would be delivered by 25-35 minutes. By 40 minutes the order had not been delivered. I called, spoke with a manger, and learned that my order was one of three being delivered at the same time and I was told that mine would probably be the last of the three delivered. I expressed concerns that it would be cold by then and was curtly told I could decline the order or they could place a new order......meaning another 25-35 minute wait. I cancelled the order. I consider the wings from this place average; however, with the service (or lack of), this "restaurant" is subpar. Three strikes and they're out!

Wings Over replaced WingsXtreme in my heart. It wasn't too hard, since WingsXtreme is closed now. But if it's one thing I like to order for delivery, it's wings. And you can order a lot of effing wings from Wings Over. "The Zeppelin" delivers over 6 lbs worth of wings! You have standard flavors to choose from all of them well executed, along with a few non-standard flavors like "Sweet Onion BBQ", "Honey Lime" and "Mustang Ranch". Their boneless wings are real chicken meat, none of that processed chicken patties. You can order various sides, I always stick with waffle fries. They offer some different flavor combinations on those as well, but that's never turned out well for me. If you need more flavor with your fries, just dip 'em in that extra wing sauce! For your heath!

This place has seen a lot of business from me. With so many great flavors to choose from, and some of the best ribs in town, wings over can't be beat.

Food is whatever. Price is alright. However, you can't order food from here for delivery and pay with a credit card...unless you're there at the delivery address with the actual credit card you used to pay for it. So, in my case, I tried to surprise my girl while I was in California with some of her favorite wings...delivered to her apartment in Columbus...and they wouldn't budge. Sorry, 1 star it is because plenty of other delivery places, Mom and Pop places, Chinese, and big chain stores like Papa Johns have done this for me many times in the past. The girl who answered my call just flatly said "we can't give them the food if they don't have the card." ...So what you better reverse the charge on my credit card then...I doubt the delivery boy would have even cared, but I didn't want to risk it, so I ended up canceling my order. Maybe 1 star is a little harsh but damn girl, you get paid to take orders, not to try and be a hero.

Just tried this place today. Had to go to the doctors out on Kenny so afterward went to half-priced books, then stopped here to get somethng for supper. I love them. Good saucy wings, got 5 Oriental Sesame and 5 Whimpy and some fries. They were very nice. Meaty, and not to heavily battered. This place is good for those living in the OSU campus area. They can also do very large orders for parties and such. I will have to stop here again.

Wings. So many places have them and so few get them right. I don't buy wings too often but when I do, I go to Wings Over Columbus. First, they are big. Bigger than BW-3's. I cannot fathom the size of the chickens that these came from. There is a wide variety of flavors. Tonight, I went with Honey BBQ, Honey Lime and, my standby, Garlic Parmesan. All delicious. The only downside is that they are located way out on Lane Avenue in a tiny storefront

I'm not sure why I didn't see the incredibly broke-ass and downright pitiful ad this place takes out in The Saver as a blatant red flag. Just read it- it's the saddest thing you'll ever find this side of an ad for the Jimmy Fund in Reader's Digest. "Please order from Wings Over Columbus," it pleads. "Our food is delicious, and our delivery is fast." For reasons I'll never understand, the high-ups behind the scenes thought that this unabashed attempt at pandering would garner more business than filling their ad with, oh, I dunno, circus animals or animated ninjas. Not the case. The wings that they deliver are garbage, and what's worse is that they take over an hour to show up. I'd like to cut them some slack for consenting to drive all the way to my house near campus from their W. Lane shop that's wedged right against the border of Upper Arlington, but these wings simply aren't worth the wait. Hell, I don't even think I'd give them 10 minutes to bring them, let alone AN HOUR and ten minutes. The basics- the sauce is unevenly distributed, the meat is scarce, and the descriptions of the flavors are very misleading. I found the "Honey-Lime" flavor to be intriguing, but I doubt it involved much more than the guy behind the counter giving the finished product a healthy squirt of lemon juice from one of those kitschy plastic lemon thingys and shaking it around in the box a few times. Yuck. The quest for best wing delivery in Columbus is still up in the air, and unfortunately it seems as if Wings Over Columbus was never in the running in the first place. Stick with BW3 if you know what's good for you, even if you have to get off the couch and go pick it up. You'll thank yourself later.

We've ordered take out from Wings a few times now and the food has been consistently tasty. The wings are bigger than a lot of places, the sauces more plentiful too. We ordered the waffle fries with a garlic parm seasoning and they were super delicious. I look forward to trying them more in the future.

I love wings over Columbus! Started going here in college- haven't stopped. Boneless wings and cajun/garlic parm waffle fries with a big cup of cheese! I like the Cruising Altitude sauce with a large side of ranch. Their delivery speed is insane! Highly recommended!

    (5)

Best wings in Columbus hands down!!! but double check your order they have been known to mess up your order. Golden BBQ is the best! Besides a few misses in my order the food is always good.

Went on a monday night. Ordered pickup. Honey bbq boneless wings and waffle fries with cheese. Food was ready quick, 10 minutes, got in and out of the store in 2 minutes.

  • Taylor C.

Servers are usually pretty friendly and cool too.

soggy wings, soggy fries, and I'm sorry, if your local neighborhood Applebee's offers a hotter buffalo sauce than your "afterburner," I'll kindly pass. my roommate years ago obsessed over this place and I remember being "meh" about it then, and I'm even more "meh" now. fries were decent. delivery was fast! but hot wings need to be HOT! would be three stars but wimpy wings annoy me to no end, particularly when that is your name sake.

Great and tasty wings with a very wide variety of sauces. The wing skin has that classic crisp while not being too dry. Very quick and friendly service too. Also, don't make the same mistake I did and realize that, while awesome, it's Carryout only.

Delicious delivered boneless wings, cannot be beat. The medium sauce is great, a bit of heat, and the Sweet Thai Chile is fantastic. And who can say no to waffle fries, so good.

Boneless wings are the best. Fries with Cajun seasoning are good addition. Delivery is fast. I think wings are never frozen and that's what contributes to the taste.

Don't waste your time with the bone in, the boneless wings are amazing. Roommates and I order them 1 to 3 times a week sometimes. Citrous chipotle, cajun teriyaki and Caribbean jerk are my flavors of choice. Delivery is always fast too.

Fast, fresh and tasty food with a good ethic and lots of flavors. Will certainly eat there again.

Besides the beloved human beings in Columbus, I miss this place SO much! Don't waste your time with the other flavors, just stick to their buffalo wings.

This has been my go to place when I'm craving wings for the past 2 years. The wings are huge and well seasoned. I prefer the dry rubs over the sauces, especially the garlic parm and 5-pepper.
