This place has stood the test of time! 10 plus years in Pickerington! Great sandwich's with a NY feeling. I dropped a star for not having lots of veggie options. Please work on this! Xoxo

While there were serious cleanliness issues when I used to frequent this location, in my opinion, I must admit, I was a fan for years and would continue to eat there now if it were convenient. They have a serious lockdown on the toasted sub, which is far superior to the untoasted sub in the first place. Which puts them on par to being the best sub ever. The deli salads are best if you can catch them fresh. If all the color is gone from the banana peppers in your pasta salad, you are getting old salad. The stimpolini is the best by far, rivaled only by the greek salad. Oh, and I hear the cheddar mac is like crack, but that shit's too fattening for me. It's basically mayonnaise and cheese. Yuck. They cater, deliver (on a Segway, no less), do carry-out and are now open late for you drunkards (Th-Sat til 3am). Limited seating so not good for large parties. It's also not the fastest option if you are in a hurry. If it is at all busy you will be waiting close to ten minutes to get your order. It takes three minutes for a sandwich to run through the oven, even when the place is empty.

I tried to order online they put me on hold for 15 minutes, not even on hold. They set the phone down on the counter while i over heard them wait on not one... not two... but five customers AND make their sandwiches while i was still on the line. Once the store went silent again I assumed they forgot I was on the line because no one ever came to pick up the phone. Eventually I hung up. Never try to order delivery here, they will just leave you on the line until you hang up.

After graduating from OSU, I moved back home to Cleveland, and there are no WG Grinders here. PLEASE open a Cleveland location. These are the best sandwiches ever.

A very nice place near the campus. It's very reasonable and offers the usual sandwiches. The staff are pleasant and helpful. A Yelp checkin gets you a free chips.

I love the campus Grinders. The food is always delicious and I have only had awesome service. Absolutely the best hot subs on campus. Nobody else comes close.. and Jimmy Johns only serves cold subs. The pizza places on campus always serve mediocre subs. If you want a great hot sub, may I suggest the Club at Grinders. Its my favorite.

The place is a little dingy, but the food is great. I like the Original Italian. The bread is some of the best around, and the subs are baked up nice a crisp, then topped with fresh ingredients. The also offer "deli" style sides like potato salad, and also cater. Update: It has now been remodeled!

Bread and cheese, if that is what you call a sub. Forget the toppings or the sauces, at least if there was ketchup, it would have made it better. Thanks to WG Grinders, I got to experiment making my first pepper and salt sandwich... And the service... Thank God, there were no other customers that I got my order in half an hour(should have got a hint when there was no one else?!). I wouldn't have been surprised if he went to nearby Kroger to get some bread... I wonder how they are still open and keep the business running. Something to be appreciated and learnt. Worst sub in campus area!!

W.G. Grinders is a chain sandwich shop, kinda similar to a Quizno's. Only waaaay better. They both toast their subs, but Grinders rules the roost when it comes to salads and sides in comparison. W.G. Goodness also reigns supreme in the sandwich department. Tons of options of well-contrived subs using quality ingredients. it is their pasta salads and other non-sandwich options that set these places apart. They are always freshly made, which is obvious because they often run out of my favorite pasta salad whenever I stop in late in the day. I've tried many of their fares but have to say that the chicken cordon blue is my go-to fav. AND they deliver (with a decent range, at that) and they even take the time to wrap your lettuce separate from the rest of your sandwich when they deliver. One of the simple touches that makes all the difference...

I don't want to be taken wrong- everything I've ever eaten at W. G. Grinders has been more or less delicious. There's not many chain restaurants where you can get a grinder with artichoke hearts on it, and that's a sad fact. And as a bonded in barrel New Englander, I have to give what the kids call "props" to any business that calls their sandwiches "grinders" and not "subs." On the other hand, this location just always seems a bit... unkempt. Tables are a little dirty, the lighting's a bit off, and what's that weird smell? I've had some friends tell me they won't even go in to this location, but I think that's too harsh. I'd bet there are better W. G. Grinders in town but this is the one near where I live, and the food is just fine. I've never had a problem with the service here, either. Quick, friendly, chatty- I can dig it. And I prefer their sandwiches to both Quiznos and Subway, for what that's worth!
