Its somewhere between a 3.5 and 4 star rating. Its not out of this world good food, but still they do a great job. Its a 24 hr type of place, and depending on when you show up, the crowd varies. This particular location is in the vicinity of my workplace, so since the location has opened Ive been here Id say no less than twenty times. I definitely became a regular as the wait and cook staff eventually knew who I was every time I came in, but they always greeted me in a friendly manner. As with all of the other Waffle Houses they have a jukebox, an open feel to the place since you can sit at the bar and watch them cook your food. I usually come in during the slow times, and I like it because I can chat with the staff and we have good conversations. Also, cooking my food in front of me so i can see whats ultimately going into the recipe is very nice. As for the food itself, Ive never had a problem with the quality and how they cooked it. I have always got what I asked for, and I suppose maybe one time I could have said the waffle was overcooked, but once I covered in butter and syrup, I couldnt tell. Id say the All Star breakfast is the best bang for the buck and gives you a lot of food. The menu that has $5 meals is really good, and if you really hungry but want to cut the cost down, add some dollar menu items to that. Ive found that for $1 the cheeseburger they make you is worth it. Check out the menu board when you first walk in, as they write up a few specials every now and again.

This location is always clean and staff are always friendly and welcoming. Food is always good and correct to order. Had my usual Bacon Lovers BLT. Lots of bacon, thick slices of tomato and fresh lettuce. Hash browns were fried up perfectly. Been there many times and will keep coming back.

There are not many breakfast restaurants in Columbus and we have tried the few that there are. Waffle House always wins if we want breakfast any time and Tee Jays as well. At Waffle House we know we will always get good food, be served quickly by cheerful, helpful, friendly staff. The food is always good and hot as is the coffee. I have been known to stop going to restaurants that don't make good coffee so this is important. Always at the top of the list when we can't decide where we want to eat this is a "Go To" favorite.

This Waffle House just opened this week in my neighborhood and is a danger to my lifestyle....I now have the 24/7 temptation of Pecan Waffles so close to me now. Anyhoo, I stopped by here this afternoon in the busy construction zone on 23, this place is located on the west side of High/23 just south of Lazelle and is easiest to access from the traffic light there and scoot around the backside of the other businesses there since the only other access is a southbound only driveway. With even being brand spankin' new it wasn't busy at all during my visit and placed my order for a cuppa joe and two of my favourite menu items, Bert's sausage melt and hashbrowns, all the way. Didn't have to wait long and my meal was delivered to my appetites delight. The grilled sausage sammich, cheesy, meaty goodness with just the right amount of grilled onions. The hashbrowns the usual sloppy pile of good stuff although they have changed "all the way" to now include country gravy on top of cheese, grilled onions, chunked ham, diced 'maters, jalapenos, grilled button 'shrooms and yes, Bert's chili. While it was a tasty mess, I think I'd forgo the gravy/chili combination next visit and go with one or the other. My server Crystal, was friendly, attentive and kept my coffee filled. The food was what you expect from a diner like WH, cooked to order, fast and decent affordable prices. With the time to enjoy my lunch and visit with some of the good folks working behind the counter I can already tell this will be on a weekly visit rotation if not more. Being brand new this place is nice, shiny and clean with plenty of counter and booth seating options. I'll be back soon to the chagrin of my expanding waistline...

Pretty bad. The staff was friendly but the cook does not know how to cook. A chocolate chip pancake is not cooking a regular pancake and then just dumping a cup of chocolate chips on it.

I saw Doc's review and said to myself, Hey they have country ham!" So that's what I did Sunday morning (real early Sunday). Drove up there and had a waffle and country ham. And the waffle was great, and so was the ham. And the prices were still low enough to make it enjoyable.

I like a little convo while eating but listening to the convo between the waitresses talking about their boyfriend cheating on them and how tired they are from the drugs they did last night really set my dining experience. Now let's get to the food... She forgot almost everything get we ordered and we were the only customers in the place. I don't think I will be coming back to this location again. Maybe next time Dee will only take half the pill instead of the whole thing and give a better dinning experience.
