Good smoothies. However they can be a little inconsistent depending on who makes it. I would like for them to try and implement a smoothie using real food ingredients. Not just the powders. A bit pricey If you think about what your getting.

This place is ridiculously expensive. But the smoothies are great and if I were rich I'd go here every day. You'll pay as much or more for a smoothie from here as you will a meal at most modest restaurants and fast food places. But they taste great and there are all kinds of healthy concoctions and healthier add ins (for an extra charge). A lot of the smoothies taste very similar to each other so I recommend the apple pie one, the cherry one, or my favorite is the chocolate Lean 1 with peanut butter. If you've got loads of money you're dying to dispose of then you could do a lot for your health coming here every day or before and after workouts. If you're a working class stiff then this is a novelty once in a while. Either way, it's worth going and you should go inside because they aren't just smoothies; there are a lot of over priced healthy snacks and supplements for sale in there too and it smells wonderful inside. I recommend buying a tub of Lean 1 if you're looking for a good meal repalcement. It's far healthier than any meal you could ever eat and it works. You'll be satisfied for a few hours. Get it on the manufacturer's website because it's cheaper. But even at the store's prices, it works out to about $3 per Lean 1 shake and that's cheaper than most meals and far healthier.

This place is touted as being healthy, but most of the smoothies have more sugar than soda. The "skinny" Angel Foodâ„¢ states "Treat your body like an angel!" yet the small 20 oz cup has 75 g of sugar! (A 20 oz bottle of Coke "only" has 65 g of sugar.) The Slim-N-Trim Chocolateâ„¢ "Slim down" has 48 g of sugar. These may be fine for an occasional treat, but they certainly are NOT healthy.

Really delicious smoothies. I try not to visit too often, considering the small is close to $5. I usually go for the "angel food cake" which, even though it doesn't exactly taste like angel food, seems to REALLY hit the spot. Its actually strawberry banana, but it tastes so much better than that. I've had some of the other "slender shakes", but nothing else sticks in my head. I've also decided this is the perfect summer dentist appointment treat. Filling, but cold... unlike the usual mashed potatoes or mac and cheese I spring for on filling days.

I remember how much this place used to cost, and they got out of control with the prices. We got a groupon to go (which as it turned otu was barely better then the free one on the smoothie king website. Anyways, as it turns out i'm a big smoothie fan now, and I will say this is the best place to get them on the west side. So high prices be damned, we go here on a regular basis. Clean, friendly, and a quality product.

This is my new favorite place. Despite the chill in the air, I stopped in tonight for a creamy blend of fruit and ice. I got the Hearty Apple for myself and the Celestial Cherry for my boyfriend. Two small smoothies cost me about $8.50. The apple smoothie contained apple juice, bananas, cinnamon, and honey. I could taste every delicious ingredient. It was like a creamy apple cider. The drink was also fortified with soy protein, a protein blend, and a nutrient mix. This was the best protein drink I've ever had. It wasn't chalky, and the protein didn't detract from the taste. I snuck a sip of Greg's cherry smoothie too. It tasted more like bananas than cherry, but it was still yummy. His smoothie was a mix of bananas, black cherries, papayas, and honey with a shot of Turbinado to kickstart metabolism. The smoothie shop was neon colored, which seems to be a requirement of smoothie shops. The interior was bigger than it needed to be. There was one table and a window bar in the front. The back section of the store was stocked with miscellaneous health food items like protein bars, yogurt covered pretzels, dried fruit chips, plus water bottles. I thought the stock was strange. It wasn't an all-out vitamin shop, but it had three to four vitamin supplements. It wasn't a grocer, but there were a few frozen Amy's dinners and one kid's frozen dinner selection. There were two staffers. The one who seemed to be the boss was super friendly and remembered my name as I exited: 'Have a good night, Morgan.' The other was a younger kid who seemed a bit lost. He had trouble delivering eye contact and salutations. But I love Smoothie King. I downed my smoothie so fast that I got a brain freeze and a tiny stomach ache, but I still want to go back for more - tonight if possible. PS: There's a drive-thru if you don't want to brave the cold.
