The service was slow and I am only giving 3 stars because the food was very good. Sat at the bar since it was a 25 minute wait to be seated. Should have put my name in to be sat. We sat at the bar for 15 minutes before they even noticed us. They served other people that sat down after us. Once we actually got waited on we ordered the stuffed mushroom appetizer. Which only came with 6 small mushrooms for $8.49. They were good but a little pricey for only six. I ordered the ultimate lobster meal tgat came with 4 breaded butterfly shrimp, an order of shrimp scampi, rock lobster tail and clump of crab legs with a side. The tail was a little small but overall everything was very good. My man got the ultimate surf and turf. It came with stuffed rock lobster tail and steak on top of green beans and mashed potatoes covered with hollandaise sauce and lobster meat. He eat every bite and it was very good. Both meals came with salads, but we had to remind the staff that we hadn't received them. I also ordered a glass of moscato which was very good, so good that I had a second glass.

The food was horrible. I found hair in my salad and all the utensils on the table were dirty. I ended up going to the bar and get my own plastic silverware. I will never go back to this location. I expressed my concerns to the manager and my food was complimentary. I did not eat any of my meal after finding the hair in my salad.

I kinda expected a lot from Red Lobster, but this location was just not giving me what I was looking for. The service is slow but then again there isn't much customers here even though it's a Friday night. Their salad had too much dressing. It was practically drench. The cheddar biscuit is okay and decent. We asked for refills and 15 minutes it's still not here and it turns out out waiter forgot it completely. I had a broccoli Alfredo pasta and the Alfredo was too salty. It takes 10 minutes to bring out the check and it takes another 10 minutes to bring it back out and we even had to give our check to another waiter to take in because our suppose waiter took so long. This location is not my favorite and won't be coming back

The worst Red Lobster in the state of Ohio. We were a party of 10 and 5 of our party got very bad cases of food poisoning the rest of us did not feel good after our meal. Service was ridiculous in its level of bad service. Slow delivery of everything, not filling drinks fast enough and guess what there was no other customers there when we were there. Restaurant is dirty and sluggish service just was horrible. The waitress kept calling my brother in law "Doll". MY mother in law paid close to 400 dollar bill and she feels so embarrassed because how horrible this dining experience ended for everyone. Shut this restaurant down Please!!!

My family eats here all the time. Their chicken caesar salad is very good. My children love their biscuits and chicken tenders. My husband always gets lobster, which he has never had a problem with. I will say sometimes service can be slow UNLESS you get MYRA, she rocks!

Service was good, food was ok until a huge brown roach ran across my table. I will never eat at this location ever again.

Let me start by saying I'm not a big fan of the Darden Group restaurant chains. They are set up to feed the masses what mainstream America considers "fine dining". With that said, I had a gift certificate and we ended up at the Red Lobster on 161 in the North Columbus area. This was by far the worst experience at a place I had low expectations for. Our server was young and inexperienced and basically mumbled. The food was sub-par. I ordered a Blue Moon draught beer and was told they had just run out. I overheard another server come back to a table and tell them they had run out of lettuce. My son wanted a cup of soup as one of his sides which they did for an addition $2.99. The prices are high, the food is bad and this Red Lobster is on it's last legs. I remember back to many years ago when that section of 161 had some of the better restaurants in Columbus on that strip or road. How times and demographics have changed. Do not waste your time. It's not even worth a FREE meal.

It's official, chain restaurants in Columbus are not the way to go. I came here on Mother's Day a little later around 9 PM to beat the crowd. There was still a wait but it wasn't bad. It took awhile to be greeted by our server. When she finally did come, she gave all the reasons why she took forever and played the pity story. I don't go to restaurants to hear the servers complain so I wasn't feeling sorry. I've worked as a server and I know what's appropriate behavior around guests and what isn't. Being Mother's Day I was ready for a long wait for food so it wasn't horrible given the occasion. As usual if you've been to Red Lobster you know the food is amazing. They have a great selection. I ordered a steak MR and it came out MW so I sent that back. The new steak didn't come out until after everyone was finished with their food. So I had to get it to go. I was disappointed with the server because she only had one other table that happened to be a party of 8 and they were getting all her attention. I'm a very easy customer if you listen to what I want and bring it but her mind was not on our table which lessened our experience. She didn't even offer to go boxes and we had to ask a busser for some. On our way out the door the officer on duty offered to get us a bag and actually bagged our food for us. So the best service we got was from someone not even employed through Red Lobster. I will not be going to this establishment again.

Staff was friendly, and food was delicious and served in a decent time frame. No complaints.

Terrible in every sense of the word. Terrible service, mediocre food, long wait (even though the restaurant was dead). I watched many other large tables get served before us-even though they came in long after us and had the same server.

Unbelievably the WORST service I have experienced in literally YEARS! We came to this particular Red Lobster, because the one close to my home near Polaris Parkway was crowded on a Saturday afternoon. The fact that this location was sparsely populated should have been our first clue. We were seated immediately and our server came by with our drinks soon after. We came there for a specific item on the menu, so we were able to order almost as soon as we were handed our menus. I ordered coleslaw to come with my meal, while my dining partner ordered a salad. We received our biscuits in about five minutes. The appetizer came about twenty minutes later, followed by my friend's salad. Then, we ate. We sat & ate & waited. And, we waited. Waited & waited. After we had sat for about 40 minutes with no entrees, we were finally able to flag down our server & asked for the manager. She continued to clean tables, wait other customers &, with all of the gall, SERVE THE OTHER PATRONS THEIR FOOD!!!! She never stopped to update us, ask us how we liked our food or when we might expect to receive our main courses. The manager came by 5 minutes later, telling us we would get our food right away. 10 minutes later, our food arrived, but because it was time to leave, it was delivered with to-go boxes. The sad thing was, my food was pretty good when we finally were able to eat it at home. I could just imagine what it would have been like to eat it freshly cooked. As we left, we told the hostess what we thought & asked to see the manager before we left. However, it was taking him too long to get to us, so I opted to call him from the car. He promised to send us coupons for money off of our next visit. I may go to a Red Lobster again, but it will not be that one. Seafood cooks so quickly, over 50 minutes to be served is inexcusable and for the server not to notice that we were without food (the manager said that there was a computer glitch) & neglect us, earned her a $1 tip on a $55 check. Unbelievable!

This is one of those places where I haven't been for so long that I forget why. And watching their ads over and over makes me think that it's better than it was the last time I was here. So I went up today for dinner. The salad and the biscuits were pretty good and the server was okay. I went because of their "shrimp" promotion so I ordered shrimp two different ways. Well, when they arrived, I couldn't believe how small they were. Well, actually I could. Less than half a bite each. So after finishing the first batch, I ordered one more serving, and these were deep fried. A mistake. I only ate two of them. Well, now I know why it's been so long since I ate here the last time.

I took my dad here for lunch on March 9th It was pretty good. We got the pick 2, both of us got water, and no dessert or appetizer. I also had a coupon, so our meal without tip came to $15. The service was pretty good so I tip the young 18 year old looking guy about $3. I am not as pleased with Red Lobster as in the past, but it is the sign of the times. It has had its hay day. It is trying to hang in there when 161 is slowly going the way of the dinosaur. Because of the economy the area is sort of shutting down, except for longtime business and homeowners. Oh Well, such is life.

Enjoyed my "Make Your Own" platter. Had crab legs, scallops, and salmon. Baked potato and salad. It was ok, not upscale dining, but it fits a budget and tastes pretty fresh.

While this restaurant is part of a chain, you can get excellent food if you know what to order. I think their shrimp cocktail is outstanding. And, of course, the biscuits are truly yummy. I think the service is fine if you go at the right time--during the week is best. I would definitely come back!

Overall the food was average tasting except for the biscuits which were insanely awesome. However, the rest of the meal was cold and the dish was meant to be hot. The pizza my son got was loaded with too much basil and even I could not eat it. The waitress and service were very good but we could have had a better meal for less at Captain D's or Long John Silvers.
