I first ate here sometime last year in 2014 for a friends birthday dinner and i had one of the bowls i loved the potion size that's given for a great price.... all in all, I am a fan of Piada now and will try to eat there at any chance i get!

Concept is like chipotle, sushiritto, bibimbap. Quality was surprisingly good and is cheap. I would definitely come here for lunch everyday if it wasn't a 15 min drive from the office.

I wasn't blown away, I'm so excited to have something fresh and new. A lot of people compare it to a Chipotle for Italian food. But, it's more than that. Yes, you walk up and pick out your ingredients, etc. But they have other options, more toppings, salads, soups, etc. I will be back!

In a nutshell, Piada is an Italian Chipotle/Qdoba/BajaFresh in set-up and vibe. Nice idea. Good food. But you'll only like it if you pick ingredients that go together and suit your tastebuds. Luckily, I did just that my first time around. (I admit, I was accompanied by a Piada Guru. *wink*) My bro and I decided to order different things and share. My order: Piada with calamari, diavolo sauce, pasta, artichokes, red onions, spinach, sundried tomatoes, tomato basil relish and spinach. The final product was GINORMOUS!!! The calamari was surprisingly VERY good. And the combination of everything else was tasty. If I were to do it again, I'd cut out one of the tomatoes. My bro's order: Piada with steak, pomodoro sauce, pasta, spinach, red onions, mozzarella, tomato basil relish, mushrooms and cucumbers. Another tasty combination. I still can't decide which I liked more. Don't forget to try out the italian fountain sodas they have. The orange soda was refreshing! The berry soda reminded me of berry flavored cough syrup. Being an out-of-towner, I'd prefer going somewhere else before coming back to this Columbus-only chain next time I'm in the area. But heaven help me if one pops up in my neighborhood....

Piada is probably my current favorite fast-casual food (well, it's maybe tied with Pizza Cucinova). Easton is one of the better Piada locations. The concept behind Piada is not immediately obvious if you aren't familiar with it: a flatbread-style wrap (like a tortilla but not) that makes an almost-burrito but with Italian ingredients. If you're new to the idea, it seems ludicrous--an Italian burrito?--but it's actually really tasty. It helps to envision it as a pasta bowl inside of a wrap. Or, you can just get a pasta bowl if the wrap thing sounds weird. The pasta bowls are also delish. One caveat if you're new to making piada wraps: some combinations go better inside the wrap than others. It's the one downfall to fast-casual build-your-own concepts; if you have a lot of ingredients, you can go wrong. If you're unsure what goes together, they do have some items you can order straight off the menu. More often than not, I go for the salads--the wraps can get pretty high in calories pretty quickly. Piada wins quick-service salad; their ingredients are fresh, tasty, and good quality. I usually do steak or chicken, pesto, and all the veggies I can pack into it. Husband likes the chicken fritte. I do wish they had a better vegetarian option that featured a starring ingredient. Tofu, eggplant, seitan, grilled portobello mushrooms. Sometimes I'm not into meat, but the veggie option just seems to have something missing.

Food is pretty good here. I like the salads and the bowls usually, but this time I got the piada. Lots of food for the price, they are kinda skimpy on the amount of meat they put in. I got the diavolo sauce which is supposed to be spicy but it didn't really have any kick. I'll prob stick with the pomodoro next time. Tried their lobster bisque which was surprisingly good and reasonably priced. When ordering make sure to specify exactly what size you want cause the employees here will not ask or clarify with you. Also speaking of the employees, they are kind of rude at this location and many of them are on their phones as they work. Overall food I give a 3.5/5 and service I give a 2/5.

I went here at piada when i went to columbus OH for graduation from boston Basically this is chipotle for italian food. You get you pasta , sauce and veggies in a bowl or a tortilla which then gets grilled. The taste of the basil pesto sauce that i got was good . The pasta themselves were well cooked with all the fresh veggies. They also have good choice of drinks. The choice in veggies are limited when you think hey why not keep big assortment so ppl can choose from lot of them their fav choices which seems to be their idea of wanting customers to do. I would say keep more veggies and different kind of pasta so ppl can be more creative and they can get inticed to comes there due to more choices Overall it is a good place and i would def visit again

I live in Tennessee now, but we do not go to Ohio without stopping here. I one time drove an hour to Piadas just to eat it, buy another to put in the fridge so I could eat it for my birthday the next day.

I like street food. Something about eating from food carts and at bodegas makes me feel urban and free. Kinda like the Tramp in Lady and the Tramp. Gone are the days when it was acceptable to find something to do and eat some kinda semi fast food on a date and keep it moving. you always have to spend a hundred bucks eating. Its nice to stop and grab a small bite to eat and engage in an activity. Soap box used. Check. I like the choices available. Whats nice is that I can eat a heathy and heavy lunch for a decent price, since I have been opting for a smaller dinner. And there was a nice assortment of all veggie choices too.

I didn't really see the appeal of the Piada experience. It's too bad; I wish I did. As others have said, it is the Chipotle of Italian. But it relies on this burrito-like invention (the Piada) that A) I'm not sure exists anywhere else in the world and B) is impractical as it falls apart immediately. A piada is evidently a flatbread, with other ingredients rolled in it. I added pasta and spicy sauce to mine, which caused it to disintegrate immediately. I liked the variety of fresh meat and veggie choices with which you could customize your meal, but the meat portion was meager, it was a mess to eat, and the portion was too small for the price. There are a lot of places to eat at Easton, and if you've only got a few minutes there are others (Northstar, Five Guys, PotBelly, etc). I'd recommend before Piada.

Skip the piada, and get the pasta bowl or salad. Just like Chipotle, you get way more when you order a bowl here. Their namesake piadas can barely hold anything. You can either make your own pasta bowl, or they have some predefined pastas on the menu. Same style as Chipotle, where they prepare your bowl down an assembly line. Extra meat costs extra, but extra add-ins, like spinach, are free. I highly recommend getting the Chicken Basil Pesto Pasta. Omg so many flavors. But I definitely feel bad afterwards. It's about 1000 calories due to all that pasta. The larger bowl is almost enough for 2 lunches though. As for the location, you'll have to deal with the usual Easton parking issues. There's a parking lot right next to this place, but its always full. You can park in the East Garage, but that fills up on weekends too. And then this place is such a prime location that it gets super busy.

Oh, the berry Italian soda. Get it. Seriously, it's one of my favorite things about Piada. I assume most of you are familiar with Piada at this point. This one is set up like the others, although they have a patio so you can enjoy some old-fashioned people watching. As usual, the food was solid. We were there kinda late on a Wednesday but everything was still fresh and hot. This is a nice change from some of the usual Easton fare. I can't say that it will be my first choice when hitting up Easton for some food, but I won't say no either. Good tasting, fresh food with fine berry Italian soda are always a good choice.

Great food, lots of items to choose from, delicious piadas, the salads you can create there are amazing. Staff not so friendly, they want you out of that line and I felt very rushed. I like that they have inside and outside dining.

Fresh ingredients, delicious grilled chicken, friendly staff, and good prices. I enjoy the salad bowl with noodles. This is my go-to spot when I'm in the mood for something fresh, delicious, and fast.

Stopped by lunch with a friend one Saturday before Christmas while shopping in Easton. It was my first time visiting, and I got the salad bowl with chicken, green peppers, onions, and marinara sauce. I love the concept of doing pasta sauce over greens instead of spaghetti because it makes the dish overall lower fat, lower carb, and super healthy. I felt very righteous abstaining from that spaghetti but did cave in for the garlic/parmesan flatbread. The salad bowl did not disappoint. You get a huge serving for around $10. The flatbread was SUPER salty and greasy, so not my thing. I will mention the veggies were grilled with an unnecessary amount of oil, so this dish was probably not as healthy overall as I originally thought. Regardless, I would definitely come here again and go with the same thing! Also, am hoping they expand to Chicago soon!!

I've been a Piada addict for over three years and I'm starting to see the quality slip. I've frequented the Piadas in Easton, Gahanna, Worthington, Sawmill and some in the Dayton area and I must say the absolute best one was in Worthington, the absolute worst ones being in Kettering, Easton and gahanna (most recently). Kettering location gave me food poisoning. Easton workers beyond 7 pm are rude and serve mediocre food. Gahanna was doing fairly well until tonight when they tried to rush me through the line when half of the food items needed filled! If your business is open until 10 pm, I would expect the quality of food and service to be at least subpar at 7 or 8 pm. Food and service is great at peak hours. The Piada sticks are heaven on earth if they're actually heated through properly. And it's worth the money if they actually serve you an entire serving of protein.

My favorite Piada location is NOT this one. I've only been to two - one in Bexley and this one. You'd think that a chain would have similar restaurants - nope. The people here were so clueless and flustered last night. We had a buy one get one free coupon that we combined with their holiday deal on the gift cards and that COMPLETELY confused the cashier. In the end she almost overcharged us - and only didn't because my husband was fussing at her. So we got away with just paying for what we got AND lost our coupon. They weren't as generous with my salad either... and the woman who started the line was just very, very confused - I told her I wanted a pepperoni stick when they were ready (they had a few minutes to finish) and she just gave me a blank look. I told her to forget it and I would take care of it later. That being said, food was good. :-)

This is my first time to this location and it couldn't have been harder to find. The address on Yelp is wrong and Easton is a nightmare with all the buildings around this corner or that corner, you have to park there and walk around this building or through that building. I love Piada, it is like an Italian Chipotle. The pasta bowls and salads are good. Yes the pasta bowl packs a lot of calories but it is filling. The salads are a little small but I just get extra lettuce. I always get the steak but now it is in large strips. It was better when it was cut in smaller pieces, please change it back. Same goes for the Italian sausage. I love the grilled vegetables but they are also in huge pieces. I literally spend ten minutes cutting up the large strips/pieces when I get home before I can even eat my lunch/dinner.

I do believe I'm the last person in America to eat at Piada. I've been past this location many, many times and finally.... Everyone knows how this works, you walk in, tell them what pasta you want and they put it together for you. I bypassed this as I was here for the Lobster Bisque. Just under $5 and it was pretty good. Very good flavor, fairly rich and creamy but no lobster to be found. Thank goodness my lobster bisque obsessions are waning so I can crave something else.

After having Piada wraps at the Yelp event last week, it immediately came to mind when meeting up with a friend who lives in Westerville. She hadn't been before, so on Sunday afternoon we ventured into the Easton bubble. I'd only been to the Lane Avenue location before, so I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the Easton location. There are two large rooms of seating, including several long bars, small tables, window seating, and patio space. The line moved quickly. and the servers were patient yet efficient; my friend wanted to taste one of the toppings (the balsamic white beans) and they gave her a little sample cup. If you are dubious about your skills at creating a palatable blend of ingredients, the menu has some preselected combinations to get you started. I ended up with an alfredo pasta bowl with steak, spinach, mushrooms, zucchini, bell peppers, artichokes, Parmesan, and eggplant. Next time I'd leave off the peppers and artichokes. The amount of food you end up with is ridiculous, and so is the fact that I ate nearly all of it. I also got an order of the cannoli chips, and honestly, I like the idea of cannoli chips a lot more than I actually like them. One or two is ok, but any more and there starts to be an oily powdery aftertaste, especially if you are drinking water with your dessert. A pasta bowl will cost you around $7.50, which I think is a good value, especially if you compare it to the cost of a pasta dish at Buca di Beppo, where the dishes often consist of pasta tossed with various ingredients and sauce. I wish they had interactive nutrition information on their website. HOLY TARDIS OF GALLIFREY. I just tallied up the calories in my pasta bowl and it came to 1382 calories. No wonder I didn't need to eat dinner yesterday!

Yes! This Chipotle/ Italian food smash up delivers great wraps, pasta bowls, and salads. Fresh ingredients, friendly staff and good prices makes me wish they would open these all over Chicagoland. I had the build your own Piada wrap with chicken, pasta, spinach, artichoke hearts, zucchini, and diavolo sauce. Delish

I take the chance to eat at Piada's every time I'm in Columbus. I've tried convincing them to come out the KC, I know we'd have mad love for them. It is the italian version of Chipolte, but so much better. They have many more choices of veggies, sauces, and meal options. Plus they have piada sticks, like a thin pizza wrap with a marinara dipping sauce. For me I love the salad bowls, it's a salad lovers heaven with so many toppings. Their salmon is cooked to order and is perfect every time. I love adding the warm squash veggies with the red pepper pesto. I love the fact that they toss the salad and not just pile it on. It mixes in the dressing/sauce and evenly coats everything. If you aren't super hungry, you can get a kids size bowl. My husbands love getting a different pasta combination every time. He loves one of their spicy sauces, can't remember the name. If you have not been here, it's a must try and be prepared to be hooked.

In the Easton area there is no shortage of restaurants. I am glad that I had the chance to catch a late dinner here. I walked in and stepped up to the counter and told the line cook that it was my first time eating here and he quickly explained the whole process. I like to eat healthy so I decided on a salad bowl and by golly it was a lot of food. There are a few lettuce options, 3 cheese options and tons of veggies that made my meal about as healthy as you can get. I opted for the Skinny Vinny dressing on the side and found it zesty and flavorful. The salad was great and if I wanted to, I could have had enough for leftovers. All this for about $7. Oh yeah! I think my only gripe is that the seating is all hardwood and not the most comfortable. No biggie especially if you are carrying out. The music playing was pretty hip and cool. I liked it. There is a special deal for local high school students: it's bring one get one free sun and mon nights 7-9. Ya gotta show your school ID. They do have wine to compliment your yummy Italian food. The prices were reasonable too. There are also some unique non alcoholic beverages too. I like the Chipotle made-to-order style of Piada's. Check it out and be ready to manga!

Let me start off by saying that Piada is a small step up from fast food. It is really very good if you think of it that way. I had to chuckle when another review mentioned "the chef." The only chef here is the one popping in for lunch at a place one small step up from fast food! Now that I have that off my chest... I have gotten lunch or dinner from here probably two dozen times. It was my lunch spot of choice when I worked near Easton. I don't find the staff overly friendly, but they are much faster than the Piada at Hamilton and Morse. The line moves quickly when there is one. I always order the Piada with crispy chicken and pomodoro sauce. I add a ton of toppings which add to the flavor. In general, I think it tastes delicious. I'm a big eater so I can finish the whole Piada if it is the only thing that I order. I have on occasion also ordered a Piada Stick which was salty but still terrific. However, after reading in another review how many grams of fat are in them, I most likely will never have one again. Yes, the Piada does occasionally fall apart, but the forks and knives are free so get over it! Yes, the scoop of toppings is small, but no one berates you if you ask for a second scoop. Again, get over it! I love the back seating area at this particular location. Great people watching spot in the summer!!! Parking near the restaurant can be limited, but welcome to Easton. If you are looking for a quick meal at a reasonable price, I recommend Piada. If you are looking to hobnob with a chef, keep walking.

This place is banging!! Love the food, it was fresh and flavorful. The Italian version of chipotle. Great portions too. I really hope that they expand out of Ohio.

This is the Italian version of Chipotle. I really enjoy the pasta bowl with crispy chicken, spinach, and various other vegetables. I really like the Italian sodas.

Food is pretty good. Seems people are still having problems with the concept, which result in slow lines. I can say the grilled chicken is on the rubbery side, no where near as good as Chipotles.

  • Mike W.

What can I say...one of my favorite places to eat! Pasta bowl is so delicious! I love how it works just like the trend in burrito places like Chipotle and Moes. I moved here from Atlanta in the fall and if you want to expand this is a great spot for you. Chipotle, Moes, and Willies are huge down south! If I had the capital I would look at Atlanta, Charlotte and Nashville. Try to hit Piada as much as I can. Keep up the quality and service! This is a great concept.

Italian food, fast and fairly cheap. Sweetie had a chicken pasta bowl with veggies and (I think) pomodoro sauce. She liked it, and had plenty for lunch the next day. I had a piada (wrap) with pasta inside (why not?) and steak, zucchini, sun-dried tomatoes, and diavolo sauce. It was good, and big, so big it came apart halfway through. I did what I could to eat most of it. We shared some lobster bisque. Not bad, but no lobster visible.

I'm tempted to knock off a star... but decided not to. The piadas are just that good. My update is that Piada has stopped their online ordering system that I raved about in my original review. Apparently, I was the only one who liked it. On their website, they explain that "We heard you, and are in the process of improving our online ordering." Translation - We now are making it a royal P.I.T.A. to place a large order for everyone you work with until we can figure out what to do next with online ordering. So, for now... if you are ordering for the office... I'd stear clear of Piada unless you want (or like) a bit of a disorganized hot mess prior to actually placing the order. Dear Piada - straighten this out faster. I've been waiting a month for you to "improve your online ordering."

This is my favorite Piada location! (And y'all know how much I hate Easton.) Before I jump into my review, I'm going to assume you know what the food's about at Piada. And if you're struggling to make a choice, here's a suggestion: get a piada and the crispy chicken - it's the best! Here's why I love the Easton Piada the mostest: * The online ordering - I've tried this at the other locations, and they struggle a bit. But the Easton store gets it right! All you have to do is walk over the counter and get your food. * The people - The folks working here are super-friendly and always accommodating. * The food - They make better piadas than any of the other locations! They can actually wrap the piada correctly, and it doesn't fall apart when I eat it. * The store size - This Piada is huge, and there's always plenty of room for seating.

I was really excited to try this place...it's kind of like an Italian Chipotle, and I love Chipotle! I ordered the Piada, expecting it to be a flatbread. I was very surprised when they rolled it up like a burrito! I had seasonal veggies, diavolo sauce, white beans, tomatoes, and cheese on mine. I should have added some greens or pasta--there wasn't much filling and it kind of fell apart. My friend ordered a salad bowl, which looked awesome. Next time, I'll have that. You could do pasta as well--I really wouldn't recommend the Piada, aka Italian burrito. I just had water, but noticed at the fountain they have Italian soda on "draft." Next time I'm in OH I will be giving this place another shot!

Been wanting to give this place a go for awhile, as I've heard a lot of hype around it. Finally had the chance to swing through to pick up lunch today. I was pleasantly surprised at how clear the menu was. Being my first time in Piada, I was initially overwhelmed when I saw all of the ingredients laid out in the assembly line. However, the signage was very explicit in guiding me through the order process, so I thoroughly appreciated that. Seeing as how I came in at the end of lunch rush (1:30) and took my food to go so I could eat at my desk, I anticipated that my lunch would be lukewarm and stale. Not so! I ordered a pasta bowl with sausage, zucchini/mushrooms, pomodoro and a slew of other random veggies. The pasta was a bit dry but otherwise, everything was surprisingly fresh and warm. I love the variety of veggies that are available. I'd love to come back and try a few different combinations!

I love the concept of this place and was so excited to try. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the fantasies of my taste buds. Bummer, I hate when that happens. Especially when their website made everything look so exciting! I had a chicken piada with pomodoro sauce. In this chipotle-esque buffet line they then slide you down to the toppings area and ask what you would like. "Cucumbers, spinach, and tomatoes, please" I requested. I then watch as they put down 3 leaves of spinach and a teaspoon each of cucumbers and tomatoes. Really? I don't even like subway but at least they'll give you a real serving size amount of sides. I paid for my piada but already felt disheartened. In the end, the sandwich is pretty decent - nothing to dream and long for, but a satisfactory lunch. However, I was so glad I had the day off to shop (though I should retroactively apologize to all customers at Easton) and wasn't going back to work because HOLY GARLIC. And I am a garlic lover -- diced/smashed/sliced, I can't get enough garlic. Yet I don't tend to pack on that much bang of flavor at lunch when I'll be socializing for the rest of the day. Be prepared to taste garlic until tomorrow. Note of warning, a piada stick has 45 grams of fat in it (according to their nutritional information online). I'm not sure how that can be justified as a lunch side in any situation. Also, my husband smelled like garlic for a week after he ate this.

Been to Italy, not the street food I have tasted! OVERALL: Ok, I wanted to stay positive but the chef (or the only person in a chef's jacket) was what sealed the 2 star for me. As we all are familiar with Chipotle, I thought about opening an Italian version myself after seeing a Middle Eastern one in Co... Back to this review... so when I heard of this place, I was excited and ready to get in my car and drive the hour plus to get there... but when I arrived, I was still excited until I looked at the menu and thought, this maybe not that good. I persisted and waited through the line and began to order... Now for the specifics: FOOD: Definitely a 2 star here! Quality: It was lacking in flavor and the items I selected were sub-par. From the tasteless chicken to the over saute'd vegetables to the canned artichokes (the 2 that were put in my bowl), it was lacking. I also ordered their Piada stick... oily, old and tasted salty and un-Italian. Now, back to my bowl, after getting all of the mix-ins, which I thought the server was quite SKIMPY using a baby's spoon to scoop items in, the overall compilation of flavors were lacking. I tasted each item separately first and then all together. The only saving grace was the pesto... yes, I would only order that and maybe some flat bread. SERVICE: Stingy on dishing out the ingredients and the Chef (see note above) was rude and not friendly, definitely makes me never want to go there.

I visited this location today. I was not sure what to expect and I was surprised the food is good. I had the Chicken Basil Pesto Pasta (large). I enjoyed every bit of the food and decided to share it with my fellow Yelpers.

3.5, rounding down. I was initially rounding up, but after writing the review and looking at my own pros and cons, I don't really think it deserves a four. I think it was a sympathy four, because, like everyone else, I want to really like this place. I've been to Piada several times now. Reviewing just off the first, it would probably be a two star experience. Luckily, it's inexpensive enough that I was able to return a few more times, and Piada has made up for my first unimpressive experience. Word to the wise: in my opinion (and that of most of my friends), getting the piada itself is a waste of money. Go for the pasta bowl. I'm pretty sure they just have the piada as an option because they're trying reeeeeal hard to be Chipotle, so they wanted a wrap. THE PROS: Piada gives you a metric ton of food. take advantage of the toppings, and you could probably turn a pasta bowl into three separate meals. the toppings are great! get them ALL. there's a huge selection, and you can get as many of them as you want for the base price of a pasta bowl/piada. the service is quick, and the interior of both this Piada and the one on Lane is cute and friendly. THE CONS: the piada itself. seriously, get the pasta bowl. i can't stress this enough. if you're super curious about the piada, get the combo. but don't get just the piada; you'll be very disappointed. building off that, piada sticks are a huge waste of money and calories. greasy and only crispy at the very end. avoid. the service, while quick, has been relatively surly a couple of the times I've been, and has been thoroughly unhelpful every time. Piada is a great, inexpensive option, but it doesn't feel like a cute local restaurant; it already feels franchised. I would eat there, but reviewing it makes me feel like I'm reviewing a Chipotle--nothing standout or worth a special stop. Tasty, but forgettable.

At first, while standing in line waiting for my turn, I was bit intimidated. I'm not too keen on putting your food together like 'bd's Mongolian Grill'... only because of my own fault - apparently I don't make very good choices of putting ingredients together. My friends told me that Piada is like Chipotle, but Italian-fied. Okay, I can work with that. As my turn was approaching, I studied their vertical menu feverishly. I decided to order a Pepperoni Piada Stick, Pasta Bowl, and Lobster Bisque. In case you are wondering, I did share the above mentioned items ^^;; Pepperoni Piada Stick made a nice street snack, it was crispy and tasty. For the pasta bowl, I got chicken (I wanted the crispy chicken fritte, but I didn't see it), arugula, cucumbers, mixed greens, mushrooms, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, and white beans topped off with pomodoro sauce. It rocked. There was an artist in me afterall!!!!! Just kidding... anyways, it was really good; very savory. The lobster bisque, unfortunately, wasn't my style. There wasn't anything wrong with it,it was packed with lot of flavor, but it just wasn't for me. Oh also, I got the Orange Italian Soda~ Yummmm. I think they have three flavors, but I only got to try the Orange one. They also have regular fountain drinks, too. I will be coming to Piada again, next time, with my new-found appreciation of food creation! :p

I love Piada. I always get a pasta bowl, with grilled zuchini, pomodoro sauce, fresh mozzarella balls, sundried tomatoes, spinach and panchetta. This location does an awesome job with the amount of Olive Oil in their pasta toss, unlike other locations I've been to. The Italian Soda is always refreshing!

The food here cannot be called Italian or even good for that matter. The people behind the counter are hard of hearing and it doesn't help that this place is always so damn loud. We asked for a calamari bowl with the diablo sauce and got something very weird and rubbery, the very opposite of calamari with the most horribly sour sauce I could ever imagine. We got one of those bread sticks too... ouch my teeth hurt. To say I wont return is nice enough. They charged me double for my meal too ... no reasons as to why.

It is very much the same concept as Chipolte, only with pasta. A good variety of sauces and toppings means that you can eat here many times without getting the same thing twice. The line moved quickly and the outdoor seating is great on a nice day. I cant wait for them to build one closer to my home or office.

Counter ordering like Chipotle, Noodles, etc. Pasta and ingredients were tasty and lots of vegetables. But Piata had a weird metallic smell and aftertaste. Music was loud.

Uh...no. So, this is sort of an Italian version of Chipotle. I get it. Do I like it? No. I tried it though at this Easton location after a movie. I got a noodle bowl with the diavolo sauce and chicken. The boyfriend also got noodles and a Piada Stick. I don't know, man. The entire idea of noodles sitting warm and put into a throwaway bowl grosses me out. Nothing really had flavor. That Piada Stick was greasy and disgusting. Do people really like this shit? Am I spoiled from growing up near Cleveland's Little Italy? I know SO MANY places to get cheap and good Italian food. This place is a joke.

While I was in Columbus for New Years, I actually visited 3 different Piada locations, 3 days in a row, but this was the first one so it gets the review. And yeah, it was *that good*. Each time, we came with different people and everyone loved it. I truly had a fantastic experience at all of them and am so incredibly bitter these don't exist in Southern California. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. The salmon pasta bowl is my favorite! Hell, maybe its better these don't exist in LA; I'd go broke and gain a ton of weight in a matter of weeks. Should be going back to Columbus this July; can't wait to revisit this place and introduce more people to it! PLEASE BRING PIADA TO CALIFORNIA!

Went back to Piada with people from work. A friend told me to get the bowl and not the wrap. It was a much better value and had a nice taste. I'll put it into the A-OK range.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this place! I order a veggie piata without the pasta. All the vegetables were perfect, I don't know what they use for seasoning but it was just right for me. The only thing I didn't like were the cannoli chips. You really don't get enough of the "filling" to make it last. I would rather have the option to buy one large or two small cannolis that are filled already.

As another Yelper said, "I want to like this place." I've gone twice now, and both times it's just okay, but nothing that makes me want to rush back. The first time I got a piada, and the second time I got a pasta bowl. Maybe I'm putting the wrong ingredients in or something. The piada itself was kind of dry and cracked a lot. The first time I got crispy chicken and pomodoro sauce; the second time I got crispy chicken and diavolo. Both times I got peppers and onions, mozzarella, and spinach. I wanted to try the Italian sausage, but that "black licorice" (fennel) kept me away. The food is good enough, but just kind of misses with me. Flavors aren't bold enough or it needs more ingredients or something. Who knows. The place itself is nice, and the "outside" patio is a nice place to eat when it's warm out (it has a ceiling but open "walls"). Atmosphere is similar to Chipotle--modern, clean, simple.

I love Piada and often find myself craving it. I'm so glad they opened up the Easton location because it's very convenient to my work. It has become my go-to place for a quick lunch. The Easton location is larger than the other Piadas I've been to, so I never have a problem finding a seat. Service is quick and friendly. It helps to get there around 11:30, right before the big lunch rush hits at noon. I've never had a bad meal here. Whether I get a piada, pasta bowl or salad depends on my mood, but I almost always get the crispy chicken fritte as my grill item. Mmm mmm good. Plus, I always get a pepperoni Piada stick. At only $1.85, they're plenty filling on their own. If you haven't been to Piada, I suggest you go ASAP.

Piada........ I'm not sure how I feel about you. Your style seems oh so familiar, and your taste and quality, not the best I've had. I feel like i stepped into a Cosî, or Chipotle. I guess if I was here for lunch, I'd be a bit more impressed. I feel like this place has tons of potential, and with strong crowds it could really be much more than a lunch spot. So, to keep from being a total party pooper, here's what I did like. Italian Soda: on the tap, pulp included, fizzes just like the originals dating back to Torani. Piada Sticks: Reminiscent of the Piadina of Romagna, I was quite impressed with the taste of these crisp little breaded treats. Not only were they delicious, but I was impressed with the selection of fillings as well. Pasta Bowl: I felt a little let down when I found that my Pasta "bowl" was going to be served in a paper bowl. In this modern day in age, I have seen chilly served in bread, burritos served tossed in a fried tortilla, and salads spun in a heads of lettuce. I felt that if the restaurant was named after a tasty breaded treat from Italy, why not serve my pasta in an edible bowl derived from its namesake? I did find the sauce quite tasty. The pomodoro mixed quite well with the tossed peppers and grilled onion. The combination was spot on, but when combined with Piada's poor quality grilled steak, it left room for desire. Proper seasoning and a far less processed, leaner selection of meat would have really made this dish stand out. Give it some pep Piada! This is Italian we're talking about! finally, the pasta is tossed in oil and that's A- OK with me. The problem was I felt the oil was tossed in the pasta. The strands of spaghetti glistened like they were dipped in glitter. Too much oil takes away from taste and can make some of us with sensitive stomachs sick. I understand that it keeps the pasta from sticking together, but a dab will do ya. The thing I found most interesting tonight was the challenge. This restaurant has potential, and tons of it. There is a market, and there is a specific demographic to cater to. There is so many good things here that keep me from walking away calling this place a lunch spot. Toss in some creativity, separate yourselves from the norm and you'll have one hell of a restaurant.

Mediocre at best. I should have eaten at Chipotle, which is mediocre as well, but then it is a burrito. Long line and idiots in line. That's not fun.

Feels like they are trying to be the Chipotle of italian cuisine. Menu and ordering system were terribly confusing. Neither of the dishes we tried were impressive. Pasta was bland and sauces were too salty. Meats and veggies were ok, but we won't be back anytime soon.

I love the feel of this place. It's sleek, modern, and yet comfortable. The italian soda is an excellent unique flavor for Piada, and the only time I order a soda at any restaurant. Any time I go here, I plan on carb-loading just because there are so many great choices. Piada sticks are delicious, love the subway of classier Italian food. Every time I have gone in, I've never seen anyone get spinach and artichoke dip, so I tried it. Wonderful! If I ate there every day I'd be broke and terribly overweight, but would probably own a few fedoras and network with some great people in Columbus.

Let me first start off by saying I am an EXTREMELY picky eater but I absolutely loved this place! I was skeptical to try it when my friend described it as a mixture of "chipotle and italian" but I am glad I tried this place. Great food and amazing sauces and chicken!

Another great change of pace from the usual mall restaurant scene. We agree with others that this is like the Italian Chipolte. Ordering can be overwhelming with all the fresh choices for picking your salad, sandwich or pizza, especially if it is your first time in the place. Try stopping in after the lunch rush to grab a Pepperoni Piada Stick and some Italian soda. Great crispy snack sure to satisfy the late afternoon hunger. We almost missed the Italian soda fountain until we saw someone else drinking an unusual orange soda. Tastes very refreshing and nothing like the typical american soda pop.

I want to like this place, so I went three times before deciding what I think about it. I've tried the salad once and the piada twice. I've learned that with the chipotle serving concept that less is definitely more. The more crap you stuff into a tortilla, the less enjoyable it is. I think because all the ingredients are well seasoned on their own, and when you put them all together its just too much! Piada leaves me with an oily salty taste in my mouth for the rest of the day, and burping up the taste as well. The ingredients all seem nice, just can't get over that aftertaste. I feel it's overpriced, as well.

Finally got to try Piada for lunch. Got a pasta bowl with chicken, Alfredo sauce, some sort of mushroom and zucchini blend, and tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. It was very good. My only complaint was the Alfredo sauce. It says it is a parmesan Alfredo sauce and I would say that is accurate. You can definitely taste the Parmesan. That sauce was just not my favorite Alfredo sauce, but it was ok. The chicken with rosemary garlic and lemon was awesome. Definitely try that. The portion size was generous for the price. This location was very clean and an enjoyable dining experience. I will definately be returning to try some more combinations.

This place is awesome! My husband and I went there after working up an appetite walking around Easton. We checked every eating place and decided to try Piada. My husband got a noodle bowl with the Spicy Fried Calamari and a cheese piada. The calamari was delicious. I got the 'pick two," I chose the small noodle bowl with salmon (extra $1.25) and the Lobster Bisque. The soup was delicious. There were way too many items to choose from to put in the noodle bowls, so we took it light. Next time I am gonna choose more items based on the suggestions from these reviews. Also will take photos to post. BTW, the Easton location does have alcohol (white and red wine and 1 beer choice) We each had a Peroni Beer, which is from Italy and very light and refreshing (reminds me of Corona). I think the alcohol is low, which is good. We paid $23 and some change. We will definitely be back.

Food is pretty good. Seems people are still having problems with the concept, which result in slow lines. I can say the grilled chicken is on the rubbery side, no where near as good as Chipotles.

This is one of my new favorites, it's like Chipotle goes Italian. I can't wait till it spreads across the nation. You must try this!!!! It's brilliant.

Counter ordering like Chipotle, Noodles, etc. Pasta and ingredients were tasty and lots of vegetables. But Piata had a weird metallic smell and aftertaste. Music was loud.

I wasn't blown away, I'm so excited to have something fresh and new. A lot of people compare it to a Chipotle for Italian food. But, it's more than that. Yes, you walk up and pick out your ingredients, etc. But they have other options, more toppings, salads, soups, etc. I will be back!

Let me first start off by saying I am an EXTREMELY picky eater but I absolutely loved this place! I was skeptical to try it when my friend described it as a mixture of "chipotle and italian" but I am glad I tried this place. Great food and amazing sauces and chicken!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
