Awful! While the food is tolerable, if you get it within a reasonable amount of time and if your order is correct, well then maybe it is OK. After bringing an incorrect order to the attention of what little management is apparent there, I was "challenged" and berated for expressing my displeasure. What a real shame. The Sawmill Rd. store is so much more clean and well run. This location, much like many other stores/restaurants in the Easton area is rapidly declining. The poor service and lack of attention is yet another sign of declination. Eat at other locations if you can make the trip!

Please note that this review is regarding this location specifically, not Pei Wei as a whole. A few years ago, I would have given this place five stars. It had flawless service at excellent speeds with fantastic food at good prices. But now? The food is good, but just good, and you don't get it all that fast. The portion sizes are pretty small, especially for the price. I'm not sure if corporate adjustments or a change in management are to blame for this. Its really a shame because this used to be one of my favorite places. Now there are a number of places in Columbus I'd prefer for my Asian food satisfaction.

Is Pei Wei on the decline? The Brown Rice today was downright gummy. The Orange Peel, which is supposed to be spicy, barely had aNy heat to it at all. Now, if I'd known this before and asked for extra, it would probably be burning my mouth off. Service was fast though -- had take out in about 10 minutes for two meals. Oh, and stop asking if I wasn't fortune cookies. Yes, I do. Seriously -- it's PART of the cuisine experience. Geesh.

Wow. Haven't been to this place for a few months, went tonite for dinner. This place has gone down hill! Not as clean as it used to be. Seems like a lack of pride by employees. When the food came, the brown rice was room temp and the chicken and veggies were just warm. My husband asked for more sauce as the rice was so very dry, it took over ten minutes to get it. It was however very hot and helped warm up the rest of the food. The flavor of the food was good. There were eight employees walking around yet no knives. We had to ask three times for a knife. As we were finishing up more customers were coming in and it was getting busy. All of a sudden someone came out of the back room screaming about something and yelling to the cooking staff. The entire restaurant witnessed this horrific outburst. It did not appear that anyone in management took charge to control the situation. We did not feel safe and scurried out as quick as we could.

This was my second time here. The first time was a great experience. Super yummy and the staff was great. This time...not so much. The food was not awesome. Everything was super greasy. There were three of us and no-one actually finished anything. The staff interactions were subpar. Very disappointed this time around.

I love Pei Wei for lunch, but just this once I came in for dinner. "TakeAway" as the sign above the register calls it. The staff was very nice and the wait wasn't long. It was actually pretty empty. There were more customers here for the TakeAway than for dining in. My favorite meal here is the honey seared chicken with brown rice. Not a fan of the sweet and sour chicken as it comes with pineapples (yuck!). But I would definitely recommend Pei Wei for lunch or dinner.

Stopped here when my first choice was unexpectedly closed; I had been to other Pei Weis, and wanted something with more zing than most fast food. It was pretty good. Service was decent; they bring your food to the table and that's about it. The atmosphere is dark and comfortable. Prices are okay for what you get. Ordering is pretty simple. I got the Thai special, with steak, veggies, and brown rice. Since I was hungry and wanted some variety I got a couple of crab Rangoons, and one of their new sushi rolls, the mango California. Pop machine was acting up so I could only get diet, which was good because man, that ended up being a ton of food! The entree was huge, plus I had the little extras. The Rangoons were pretty good, nothing special. The sushi, meh. Little flavor, looked okay but otherwise nothing appealing. The entree was steaming hot, slightly spicy, and pretty tasty. I doubt it was very Chinese or Thai, but it was good, and made me eat some veggies, so I was satisfied. Pretty good, reasonably fast, and I was on my way.

We love this place and get it once or twice a month. Calling a Togo order is always frustrating because it's never ready when I get there. It's probably faster to just order once you get there.

I love Pei Wei! The quality of food is really good. I've been to P.F. Changes before and it's no where as good as Pei Wei is. I'll walk up in here and won't hesitate to drop $20.

My son & I tried this for the first time last weekend. I had the thai crunch salad, he had the shrimp & chicken lo mein, then we shared the chicken lettuce wraps. Tons of food & great quality, fabulous prices. One of our new faves!

I love Chinese food. While Pei Wei isn't my favorite Chinese restaurant, they consistently have good, fast service and tasty food. This restaurant is just far enough from the main Easton area that it seems to have a moderate amount of people in it whenever I stop over to eat. I recommend their Kung Pao sauce with chicken and their Dan Dan noodles.

Honey chicken is good, staff not nice. I quit going there. Expensive for the little bit that you get. Not impressed. Clean place.

This was a great restaurant when it opened years ago. Within the last few years though the food quality has tanked and has been consistently poor for a while now. Today, my Orange Peel Chicken came out cold. How does that happen at a make to order restaurant? The restroom was disgusting, my coke was weak, and worst of all... No fortune cookies... Pei Wei, what happened here? I don't trash places often, in fact this may be my first poor review on Yelp; but today was really disappointing. Strike One Pei Wei. You have two left and I not come back.

Went for lunch on Friday with co-workers. I always get the Pei Wei spicy beef which is just a little spicy but you can grab a little jar of the garlic chili paste to bring it up a level or 2. It comes with pretty good beef, and is loaded with veggies like pea pods. Never disappoints. What did disappoint, however, was the spicy tuna roll which is a new addition to the menu. It was four pieces of sushi, which looked the part, but the tuna and center were luke warm. Warm sushi is definitely not very appealing.

Great staff and great food. What else can you ask for? The food is fresh and always on point. I had it for dinner on Monday and had to have it again on Tuesday for lunch.

I think I like this place even better!! With a recent diagnosis of diabetes having to watch the diet and count carbs is not such a fun thing to do and can be challenging when hanging out with folks that don't have that worry. So Pei Wei was selected and I figured I'd find something I could survive on there. WOW they have updated their menu big time. Not only do they have smaller portions available you can now substitute your rice for a side salad!! I'm sorry but that was just super freaking amazing news to my ears. I was able to have a delicious meal and stay within my diet parameters as well. Ya gotta love it!

I reviewed this business a month ago - much improvement! Take out is HOT and super fresh! AND it was ready before I arrived to pick it up. Their food is always good, as long as it's hot!

Not sure what happened to this place. In the past I would have given it 5+ stars but today 3. And that's being generous. I don't know if the place changed hands or what but not impressed.

  • Rick B.

Was disappointed with my meal. Had to pick up a package next door at the FedEx office next door, so used online ordering to place my order prior to leaving. I still had to wait to receive my meal as it wasn't ready at the scheduled picked up time. I placed my order about 45 minutes prior to the pick up time I had scheduled. I ordered the wasabi crunch roll. Did not detect any additional wasabi in it and the quality of the sushi was equivalent to that found in grocery stores. I also ordered chicken lo mein. This dish was just terrible. The chicken was hard and dry, even my dog had difficulty chewing it! The noodles had no flavor at all. I have ordered from this place before and found the food good so maybe this was just a bad day. I will probably give it another try because of the convenience, but another meal like this, and I won't ever return.

I've never left a negative review, but after years of enjoying Pei Wei, it's just not the same. Back-to-back times of getting dry, overcooked chicken and undercooked, still hard rice has me wondering if we will be back. Both my wife and I had the same experience with different menu items, her the sweet and sour chicken and me the Kung Pao. Has ownership changed?

  • Stephanie P.

The seating area is nice and pretty open. A classy feel to a fast food joint. I had a the Thai dynamite which was tasty, although, it was hardly spicy. I mean, not at all. The boyfriend had the peanut chicken which looked and smelled good. *Pet peeve alert* Now, I had a problem with the way they brought out the food. It bugs the crap out of me when dishes are brought out at different times. We sat there and stared at his food while we waited another 5-10 minutes for mine. But, like I said, this is a pet peeve... Other than that, it's pretty all right. A good alternative to the usual fast food fare around Easton.

This place sucks. It used to be good. We used to eat here often. In the past year they have been plagued with extremely slow service ( waited for carryout for over an hour and left without food). I recently received a "lump" of brown rice the consistency of mashed potatoes, nasty. The freshness and proper preparation of their vegetables and rice has been lacking. Consistency is a huge issue, sometimes your meal is literally flooded with sauce, other times dry as a bone. This is simple food and the menu is limited, it should be quick and consistent. I'm not sure what happened to you Pei Wei. Goodbye. Tip: check your bag before you leave, there is a VERY good chance you have the wrong order, missing entrees, wrong entrees, no salt for your edamame, etc.

I love Pei Wei!! Back east is much better but this was good. The food has a wok burnt taste to it, very much like burning peanut oil that makes the food way too toxic tasting. I've tried this location twice and the 2nd time was much better, but still has that horrible taste. I'm obsessed with Pei Wei back home and the one in Philly on city ave is AMAZING!!!! Really bummed about this... I'd go here a ton more often if that burnt flavor wasnt so potent.

I absolutely love Chinese food.......well, all Asian food in general really! I usually try to stick with the mom n' pop type places.....but every once in a while, I CRAVE this place! In my opinion, the best thing on the menu is the orange peel chicken with brown rice. It's pretty low in calories (if you're watching your calorie intake). The hot and sour soup is one of the best I've ever had! It really can't be beat! I've only been to this location once. My only complaint is that the server brought out our hot & sour soup at the same time as our entrees. WHO does that?! But whatever....the food was still amazing and I can overlook it this once. The mandarin orange iced tea is very tasty! But make sure you put a slice of orange in it (which is provided there at the beverage station). Love this place and will definitely be back!!

Pei Wei is my tried and true for lunch and has been for years. I consider Pei Wei my "fast food" since the service is always prompt while being friendly. The food is consistently very good. My favorite dish is Honey Seared Tofu with white rice. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps are also terrific. Pei Wei is a great choice when the lunch crowd is comprised of carnivores, vegetarians, and even vegans. I would highly recommend Pei Wei for dine in or carry out.

The food here is always ultra salty, and the Thai coconut with steak was pretty bad. The meat was tough, and the sauce just wasn't good. The Thai dynamite is alright, if you must eat here.

Been to Pei Wei twice in the last few months. Not bad. Nice seating area, very friendly/fast service. Food was pretty good. I liked their Crab Rangoon's and egg rolls. They sold out of the sweet and sour chicken after we ordered it so put a slight cramp into the meal but pretty good place.

PF Chang's-like food...but more casual and cheaper! I love Pei Wei! It's exactly what I want: fast, friendly, tasty, casual, comfortable, and inexpensive! Pei Wei is the perfect lunch spot for getting away from the office, and I can get in and out within my hour lunch break. Everyone who works there is very attentive, but not in a bothersome way. And I love the laid-back, calm atmosphere! My three favorite things on the menu are: * Honey-seared tofu & vegetables (the tofu is so thin & crispy!) * Pad Thai (but with no cilantro, naturally - it's a vile weed!) * Lettuce wraps (better than Chang's!)

  • Liz M.

Tisk tisk, Pei Wei. Your restaurant has gotten more and more inconsistent with food qulity as of late. My last three orders were not very well done, not to mention I waited as long as 25 minutes for my call ahead order. It just makes me sad that I can't count on you for my perfect Pad Thai anymore :(

After giving Pei Wei a try many times, I've realized it's just not one of my favorite places. I feel like most of their dishes are a bit too sour/tangy. This particular location can get crazy during lunch but you can order online and take out fairly quickly. I do like that a lot of their dishes can be made gluten free.

Let me start this review with one word "Fresh".........."Fresh, Fresh, Fresh, Fresh, Fresh". OK , so that's technically six words, but you get the idea. This place is a pleasant mix between fast food (you place your order at the counter), and a sit-down restaurant (they bring the food to you, in order), that works perfectly. This offshoot of the well-known PF Chang's restaurant chain fills a unique niche. It is not as formal, nor as expensive, as its parent, nor is it quite as informal feeling as say, a Panda Express. When you walk in, you are met by a series of beautiful eye level panels that are the menu. There are a variety of entrees (Signature Dishes), many available as vegetarian with tofu, or with chicken, beef or shrimp for us meat eaters. The selection is relatively small if you are used to a traditional Chinese restaurant with dozens and dozens of choices. There are 11 signature dishes, 6 rice and noodle dishes, 3 salad choices, and a few soups and gluten free items. They also offer "small plates". These are starters (the spring rolls, egg rolls, a lettuce wrap and some soups). They have small size orders of these, a good idea in my opinion, so you don't have to get a dozen "Crab Rangoons" if you are dining solo. There is a small kids menu if you have the little ones in tow. I ordered a cup of the hot and sour soup, and on the suggestion of the young lady working the counter, the "Thai Dynamite" with chicken, and steamed brown rice (you can also choose white rice). It was marked as "Spicy", as are six other entrees. I stuck with water for a drink, and was handed an oversized "Chip" that would be used to identify me at my table when my food was ready. The dining area is nice, with an upscale feel to it. The wooden chairs at the tables are not the most comfortable in the world, but we're not talking about "The Old Gentlemen's Club" here. There is an upright cylinder at the table containing chopsticks (more on this item in a moment), soy sauce, and a couple of plates with napkins. The self-serve drink area (free refills) also has teaspoons, lemon and orange wedges (very nice in my ice water), sugar packs, etc. On the wall behind these items is an area that contains hot chili sauce, hot mustard, and oil and vinegar, all in glass serving containers. A moment after getting my drink, I saw a server holding what appeared to be a cup of soup on a plate and searching for it's owner. I dutifully held up my number, as it had been sitting on the table and was difficult to see. After setting down my soup (real cup, real Chinese soup spoon, real plate - no disposables here), the server took my chip and placed it in the holder at the top of that chopstick cylinder mentioned earlier. Doh! But, in my defense, no one else had theirs in their holders either. So now I know. The soup was rich, warm and delicious, if not what I am traditionally used to. Most that I have had have a touch of sweetness, and a touch of vinegar popping up in there. This did not, but it was still an excellent soup with a beautiful mouth feel. I will definitely order this again. A few moments later, the entrée arrived. It was beautiful, fresh, and obviously prepared to order. The chicken was lightly breaded and fried, and then apparently grilled. Yes, I said grilled. You could see what appeared to be light grill marks, and taste the char. However it was prepared, it was magnificent. The sauce was very flavorful, the vegetables fresh as can be, perfectly cooked and all served with a lime wedge. I grabbed some chili and hot mustard to heat it up a little, as "Spicy" here is not apparently volcano spicy as it is at some places. The steamed brown rice was wonderful, too. It had an earthy, almost smoky flavor and just the right amount of moisture to it. The meal was great. I highly recommend this place. They advertise as "Asian", stating not only Chinese, but Thai, Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese influences as well. Although the variety is not huge, the quality is fantastic. As they say "It is better to do a few things and do them well, than to do a lot of things poorly". I certainly look forward to going back and trying a few of the other dishes. Next time it's the Kung Pao or the Thai Green Coconut Curry! I can't wait!

I thought maybe it was my imagination that the quality of the food has been declining here lately, but it looks like some recent reviewers agree with me. The last few times I've come here, I've gotten the Thai Dynamite, and the "burnt" taste I mentioned below has gotten much worse. Every part of my last meal at Pei Wei tasted like burnt grease, from the rice to the chicken and vegetables. To make matters worse, one of the chunks of "chicken" in my dish actually was a large, breaded chunk of flour. Disgusting. Not to mention, they have indeed permanently gotten rid of my favorite dish (Thai Blazing Noodles). When I emailed the corporate offices to ask about it, I was directed to a recipe for the dish on their website. That's a first. Anyway, I still like this place. It still seems to be a step up from the typical national fast-casual chain, and they still have the upscale napkins, chopsticks, drinks and such. But if things don't improve with the taste of the food, Pei Wei's getting dangerously close to two-star territory.

We love the Pei Wei on Sawmill - it is always good food fast. Sadly, we were at Easton and in a hurry. Saw this Pei Wei and thought it would fit our schedule. They only had one person on the grill, so the food took 25 minutes and our order was wrong (half of our order was served to the table beside us and we got half of there order) when we pointed this out to the server he said "sorry 'bout that" and walked away. Really! Don't think we will be back...

  • Angie P.

This place is absolutely horrible! Their rice wasn't even good. If the cashier says that the dish I choose is the spiciest on the menu, I expect some spice when I taste it. It was bland. The shrimp were disgusting. I wasted my money.

  • Marissa C.

We stopped into Pei Wei for the first time to order take-out. I was a little skeptical, as I know of Pei Wei's relation to PF Chang's, a restaurant of which we are not fans. Although we had not called ahead, our order came out hot and fresh in a short period of time. I had ordered the Pei Wei Spicy Chicken - Gluten Free with brown rice. I was impressed with the attention to detail - my meal came out marked with a gluten free sticker on the take-out container, making it very easy to distinguish one from the other. They also included a bag of gluten-free soy sauces and such. The sauce in the Pei Wei Spicy was nicely flavored, the chicken was juicy and tender, and the veggies were delightfully crisp and fresh. The serving size was generous - I easily got two meals out of my one portion. Very enjoyable.

Lettuce wrap with minced chicken is one of the best in town. Service is always friendly, even at lunch when it is super busy. I'm a fan!

This place is great. I just called and was off the phone in 30 seconds with my order placed. Food is always good, the one time it wasn't, I made mention of it and they gave me my next meal for free.

PF Chang's fast-casual offshoot, Pei Wei Asian Diner, lives up to the category in every way. This first Columbus location has fresh-tasting foods (the snow peas in my dish crunched like you wouldn't believe), middle-off-the-road prices and a laid-back dining room with no waiter service. The food was darn good. As I already read on Yelp, the Pad Thai was terrific. It was just spicy enough to warm the mouth and had a great texture. The Kung Pao was great as well. It featured snow peas and peanuts and lacked mushrooms. Rock! A few letdowns: The "Asian" teas, a chai tea and a green tea ,were extremely weak. The chocolate chip cookie display at the register also threw things off a bit. With high quality Asian-ish food at a great price, I'll be back for sure

Pei Wei is a pretty good spot for some chinese food if you like to spend more than you should. If you like very very very Americanized Chinese food this is right up your alley. Don't get me wrong the food is great. But i prefer the classic chinese food restaurants. The portions are pretty big and i was able to make two meals out of one order. Ive always done carry out so im not exactly sure how the service is for dining in either. But all in all its not a bad place for a good meal, if it were a first date i would suck it up and go to P.F. Changs instead.

    (3)
  • Brian B.

I faster and less expensive version of PF Changs. I frequent this place on average once a week for lunch. I typically get the sweet and sour chicken with white rice. The only cricticism I have is that the rice is hit and miss. Sometimes it's fresh and really good, other times it's dry and hard.

  • Ralph S.

Order carry out from here often, usually going for the Mongolian chicken, beef or shrimp. The environment is very casual and tables are usually open but I always carry out. Overall, the food is very good. If I had a criticism, it's that the nutritional information on the menu is misleading. All of the dishes are two serving sizes, which hurts the diet if you miss the small print and don't adjust. Why not just be straight forward?

  • Catie L.

I can say I liked the food and the prices were in my budget. I went after a friend of mine gave me rave reviews of the place. 1st it was kind of hard to find. I went last Sunday, after church for lunch. I got the Teriyaki bowl with beef and brown rice. It was good. The flavor was great and it had a lot of fresh fruits and veggies. It was not the best I have had bit it will do for the price paid. I can not complain about it. The meat was surprisingly very tender. I have had tough beef at many asian places. I am glad they used a good cut of beef or at least tenderized it well, and no MSG Yeah. I wish I could give it 3.5 stars instead of just 3. I would recommend it to people for a nice casual meal. Better then fast food, but not a stiff as a classy restaurant. Just good fresh food.

When I'm in the mood for some salty food, this is where I go! That being said, I actually really enjoy eating here. Yes, I realize this is Americanized Asian food, which I don't have a problem with, unless the place is claiming to be otherwise. I love me some Americanized Chinese! The price is a little high for some items. Come on, a $2 veggie spring roll slightly bigger than my thumb? I like the Mongolian beef. But salty, salty!

I had dinner here tonight. I had what I believe to be a new dish, Thai River Noodles with shrimp. It wasn't the best meal, probably because some of the ingredients were undercooked. But this place is pretty close to me so I'll be back.

Went to Pei Wei for lunch today...first visit. I'm a huge fan of PF Changs and found this to be an excellent lunch choice as well (less expensive and quick). Great menu to choose from. i had the mongolian signature dish with white rice. Service was great and the food tasted perfect. I hope to try many other items on the menu as this will now be an occasional lunch spot during work. Lunch was under 10 dollars with a drink. The only bad thing I noticed is its so dang loud in this joint. I couldnt hear myself think! There is dim music in the background but that didnt help.

Finally! A place that serves delicious Pad Thai. Never mind the fact that it's as Americanized Chinese/Asian food as you can possibly get, the Pad Thai here is the best I've had in years in Columbus. Too bad Pei Wei = Hypertensionville. Aside from the perfectly prepared Pad Thai (that I obviously cannot stop raving about), the other dishes were way too salty for my taste. And trust me, I can usually handle high salt content. The chicken Thai Dynamite was not what I had expected: very limey and very basily. It would have been excellent had they lightened up on the lime sauce. Instead, it left me with a sour aftertaste. The Spicy Korean chicken, on the other hand, was salt galore. In fact, I think it was the sodium content that took away from the what was actually quite tasty dish. A subsidiary of PF Chang's and one of the fastest growing chain across the U.S., Pei Wei delivers an atmosphere far from what one would expect when he/she hears "quick, casual dining." Orders are placed on the counter and a number is handed to you. You later pick the table of your choice and your order is brought out to you. The open kitchen is right next to the counter so you can even see how the food is prepared if you so desire. Drinks, sauces, and even fortune cookies are self-served. The menu is quite eclectic and as Asian-infused as you can possibly think. I did get a kick from seeing that the only dessert option was chocolate chip cookie (with Ghirardelli chocolate chips!), however. I mean, the least they could do was to offer something as simple as green tea cookies. Or almond cookies. The chocolate chip cookie just clashed with the rest of the menu. I might be back to check out their other menu offerings seeing how I had a hard time on deciding on one dish.

Kung Pao chicken is my go-to. Taste just like Changs, but a lot cheaper. Lettuce wraps are awesome as well. And is there any better iced tea out there?

  • Ted D.

As chain Thai food goes this good but not even close to great. They are a national chain owned by P.F. Chang. Is a person is looking for exceptional or great pad thai than they should go to an authentic Asian restaurant or Thai restaurant. Right across the street when at the Powell location is Thai Orchid.

  • Shane L.

I love Pei Wei, not because its the greatest place in the world, but because for the money, it can't be beat. It's like Chang's (not 100% the same, but darn close), only its cheaper and has counter service (well they bring it to you after you order at the counter). If you're cheap like me, not having to tip makes it even cheaper! Atmosphere is lacking, but it's OK for the price (and you can do takeout).

If you've never been it's a fast food version of pf changs. I love Chinese/Asian food. I love this place. The decor is great too. You walk up order food just like fast food however you sit down and they bring food. Im a simple girl so I just do fried rice and lettuce wraps that I typically share with a friend.

Great value, portions, ambience, service. This is a chain (I think owned by PF Changs) and every location I have been too around the country has been great. Kinda "Americanized" Asian food but it's really good. Not too casual or formal. Fast. Fun to watch the grill and flames in the background. Highly recommended.

Valentines evening 9PM. About 20% full inside. Plenty of parking. Large lighted menu's hang on the wall. You enter this aisian decorated establishment to walk up to a cashier to place your order and pay. They hand you your glass, and you can now claim a 2 top table. Larger parties will pull together easily. Now go up to the self serve bar for your Coke products, and others, along with silverware, fortune cookies, condiments, and more. There are no trays, so count on multiple trips for the more you grab. 2 plates and 2 napkins are on each table. It was very clean. We did not see the restroom interior. You can see into the open kitchen, with the hanging utensils. The Menu offers well marked spicy, and vegetarian ordering, with no MSG. We found a menu on their website. Pricing.. Salads..$6.25-$6.95(big enough to share). Noodle and Rice bowls..$6.75. Kids 12 and under..Teriyaki or honey chicken $3.75, Lo Mein $3.75, w/drink $4.25, Chocchip cookie $1 Signature dishes.. ingredient plus style Chicken $7.75, Beef $8.25, Shrimp $9.00, Vagetables and Tofu $7.25 Choices are Mongolian, Thai Dynamite, Lemon Pepper, and more. Steamed brown rice, and beer were also available. Fried rice is extra. They brought our appetizer first (spring rolls 2)$3.75. Very hot and tasty, served with a sweet ginger chili sauce. Next came the Pei Wei Spicy chicken salad $6.95. We found this to be a true treasure. It is such a unique collection of vegetables, and slightly citrus vinaigrette with that slight heat. The chicken was not breaded, but seared to a tenderness. We also had the Mandarin Kung Pao Chicken. My wife has had this the last 3 visits. Total bill $19.70. We did not see tipping anywhere. We left a couple bucks, because our very kind, friendly attendant chased down some things for us. *Note this is not fast food, but Casual(Applebees). Pros: Great food, Terrific Value Cons: Loud kitchen noise

The decor is nice. I went on 4/30/2011 and the food was awful. Not sure what heppened, the last time I went was nov 2010, food was ok. I will not be back. Good luck on your visit.

Panda Express food served in a nicer setting. I.e. glorified Asian take-out food. Which is ok. Except you pay extra $ for the setting.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
