I would eat at Panera Bread more often but it doesn't seem to matter which location I go to, they have always run out of something I want. One time they didn't have bread bowls. How the hell can that be? And they just kinda shrug when they tell you; no apology. Meh, I'd rather go to Quizno's.

Panera Bread on Tremont Road, I have an issue with you. The issue is staffing. I don't believe I'm imagining this when I say that 4 out of 5 times I pop in for a coffee-to-go and a muffin or baked goods.... there is a cue running 6 - 7 persons deep waiting. Registers closed to my right. Registers closed to my left. No drive-thru window. Just a wait.... tapping foot....a wait.... tapping other foot.... a wait. Is having an extra cashier in the mornings to handle rush too much to ask? Or maybe having 2 - 3 persons doing the bagel, muffin, croissant grabs whilst the ONE CASHIER takes the moolah$$$? Very frustrating. I visit Panera Bread because I like their coffee. I really do like their coffee. And I enjoy their asiago cheese bagels, the egg souffle, blueberry muffins and their big oatmeal cookies. And on rare occassions I'll order lunch and have soup and sandwich which ranks about 3.5 stars. So Panera wins the product selection and taste game with me. But Panera Bread on Tremont Road next to the book store - HIRE AN EXTRA WORKER in the morning..... swift and satisfied are a great combo, selfishly speaking.

No issues with the food, but this place is filthy! On a fairly slow Sunday night almost every table was dirty and there was trash all over the floor. The service was also subpar. We ordered pastries in addition to our meal and had to wait for the guy behind the pastry counter to acknowledge us which took several minutes. We won't be patronizing this Panera again which is a shame because it's so close to home!

I love this Panera. It gets very busy during lunch time, but the staff keeps the line moving. The best time to go is in the morning. The morning staff seems pretty consistent and they are very friendly. They know their customers by name and are eager to talk to you. They are very willing to help you get everything you want. It is also fairly quiet in the morning so I love coming here to get my homework done, and I've seen many people have meetings. This Panera has never failed me, and all the rewards on my Panera card certainly keep me coming back!

Great place to grab lunch with friends, especially on Saturday morning! There's a decent amount of parking (a bit small) and right next door to Barnes and Noble.

It was a Friday night and my boyfriend and I both wanted something light. We decided panera was a safe bet (although I had recently had a not-so-great panera experience in Cleveland, I was hoping that this panera, which has been good in the past, would make up for my last experience). We walk in and it's not very crowded. We take a look at the menu and the pastries and ultimately decide on a ham and swiss and a take 2 with the new pesto pasta and a chicken frontega. We also get a red velvet cupcake for only a dollar extra. Wow! Once we ordered, we take a seat and wait for our food. After quite a while, we see something on the counter that looks like it might be our food. We are dismayed to see that it's not our food, but the food for 2 people ahead of us. We stay up there, because surely, it can't be that much longer... nope, it was. We went back to our seats. After a few more minutes, we went back. We see my boyfriend's pick 2, but my sandwich is nowhere to be found. All the while, this woman is complaining about her food, clearly throwing a fit about something not being to her liking. She's being very unreasonable, choosing to pout and stomp around instead of accepting the manager's offer to make her something more to her liking. Once the distraught woman has sat back down, a mother and her two kids come to pick up their order. The mom heads back to the table with most of it, but lets her eldest child pick up the rest. Unknowingly, he grabs my boyfriend's pick 2. The manager stops him, and he returns the pick 2 to the counter. My food is still nowhere to be found. It's been what felt like 20 minutes at this point. Before we say anything, the manager looks at us and says, "you know what, I'm going to remake this for you, I'm sorry this is taking so long. And you can get a refund, you don't have to pay for this." We're pleasantly surprised; we didn't need to say anything for the manager to acknowledge the problem and take steps to fix it. Within minutes, both meals are personally brought to our table. My sandwich was pretty good; just a fairly plain ham sandwich. My boyfriend's pesto pasta was a little too al dente in some spots, but otherwise good. The chicken frontega was good. The red velvet cupcake was the best part; so delicious! A chocolate layer with a larger red velvet layer on top and cream cheese frosting. Mmmm! All throughout the process, the manager was extremely apologetic. We didn't go back to get our refund (the food was great once we got it) but, at the end of our meal, he comes up to the table and says "I don't know how you feel about pastries, but we're really sorry" and brought us a box of pastries! We were extremely impressed. Afterwards, we went up to the manager and told him that he truly made what might have been a mediocre experience standout, in a good way. He said that he hoped we'd come back; we definitely will! He was an example of perfect customer service, and we hope to see him again when we come back.

Ordered half and half soup and sandwich. Spoon i got for soup was not at all cleanes. This is first panera where hygiene is neglected. I have been panera fan for a decade now but itss getting worse day by day.

As far as Paneras go, this one is clean, not uber busy, and close to my house so no real complaints there.

Yeah, it's Panera. It isn't particularly trendy or unique- it is a chain, part of corporate America, the Man. But seriously, I like their food, the folks at my local Panera know me by name, it is quick and reliable and they have the nutrition information helpfully posted on their website and in store. You have to watch it, but you can get a lot of food for little or no calories. Very important.

Stopped in here today to pick up a sandwich to take back to work with me today and luckily for me the place wasnt extremely busy. Our order was taken rather quickly and the food was ready in no time. The place seemed to be the usual Panera that you see with ample places to sit down and eat. The parking outside wasnt bad either. We were able to find a spot close to the building. The people behind the counter were very nice and willing to help us when we were ready. Great place to grab a quick sandwich or to meet up with someone for coffee!

I stopped for lunch today and the sandwiches were a little better. Along with my sandwich I had a mug of hot chocolate. I was really hungry so both of them hit the spot.

As a carb-lover, I can live off of Panera Bread's bread bowl with either the chicken noodle soup or the broccoli cheddar soup alone. YUM. My other faves from Panera include the Asiago Cheese bagel, Cinnamon Crunch bagel, and during the summertime, their strawberry poppyseed salad (with chicken!) Panera's healthier options include Smoked Turkey Breast sandwich, low-fat soups, and the Mediterranean Veggie sandwich. Their paninis, on the other hand, can do some serious damage to your waistline. Aside from free coffee and drink refills, Panera also offers free Wi-fi. This explains why some customers spend their mornings, afternoons, and evenings there. A great alternative to studying at libraries, although it's usually a full (not to mention loud) house during lunchtime.
