Great place to dine with a fantastic interior and patio area. The food here is fresh but filling and has very friendly staff. I ordered the chicken shawarma, which ended up being beef shawarma (although I didn't mind). The platter was excellent and included rice, hummus, tabouli and pita bread. Excellent bite to eat and by far better than Aladdin's up the street.

first time here and loved it! food was good and the interior decorating is gorgeous. you can also choose to eat out front on grandview avenue if you'd like. everything seemed aptly priced and most meals had the option of a la carte or platter, which would include rice, pita and two sides. fantastic presentation too. the pickled turnips are made in-house, and are very good according to the mother-in-law! less one star...they have a liquor license so they should use it! they only had 3 beers on draft. also, the fatayer was just so-so.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I Went there for the first time this evening and had the falafel sampler. It was amazing!!!!! They added baba with my hummus which made my plate have more variety. The pita is served warm and comes in reasonable sizes. Overall it hit the spot and made me want to come back again.

Heard great things about this place so wanted to try it, but somewhat disappointed. A small Greek salad and an order of falafel was $13, and this was for take-out. Not sure how they can get away with charging $7 for seven grape-sized falafel balls but felt totally ripped off. The menu says a falafel platter is $7, but I did not by any stretch of the imagination receive a "platter." it was seven grape-sized falafel balls, a small ramekin of tahini, and two small pieces of pickled something.

I never cared for Mediterranean food until I discovered this place and now I crave it! I love their new location although the patio is a slightly tight squeeze. I order the kefta kebob as a platter with hummus and potato salad and it was outstanding! The rice and meat are to die for and the pita bread was such a great complement to the meal! We ordered the kenafi for dessert and it is indescribable! Definitely a must-try. I've never had anything like it! Furthermore, the service was undeniably better than any other restaurant I've been to in Grandview. We were seated immediately and greeted by many upbeat employees. Our server was attentive and seemed genuinely happy to serve us. Finally, the prices are extremely reasonable! I've never given such a stellar Yelp review!

I went here for the first time in early June 2014. It was a delightful surprise to have such good Mediterranean food at reasonable prices. The waiter was nice and polite and either the owner or one of the chefs came out to see how my food tasted. This was surprising since I was just a guy eating lunch with a Groupon. Definitely try a dessert with a Turkish Coffee. I will be back soon.

Fantastic hummus, decent baba ganoush, and a great lunch menu. The server was on his game when we came in on a weekday afternoon; always had a full cup of water, and they had some mighty tasty looking deserts. I've only had their beef items, but chicken and lamb both looked awesome.

Hands down best Baba I have ever tasted. I LOVE eating here. The food is amazing, always fresh, always perfectly prepared and plated. I always feel like I have dropped in on the family and they can't wait to feed me. Although I have not had a bad bite of food here ever, my latest menu obsession is the lamb dinner combo. It's always cooked perfectly and has plenty of flavor. The Baba Ghanoush, as I mentioned earlier, is so creamy and tasty. The cabbage salad always surprises me with how fresh and flavorful it is. Do try a side of pickled turnips (if they have them). They will change your life. If you like to have a drink with dinner, try the Carrotini. One day, I'll figure out what is in that "family spice blend". If you are a fan of simple, well prepared food, you should try Mazah as soon as you can.

BEST Baba ganoush in the city! I have tried everywhere I can to find someone that can beat their baba ganoush and it just isn't out there! It's creamy, not too oily with a touch of smokiness! The olive is the cherry on top when they bring it out with warm pita bread. I really recommend the Greek salad I think they make their feta in house and the dressing has the perfect blend of oil/vinegar and spices. OH, don't get me started on the falafel, it's also the best I've had. They come on cabbage, I think and are two bites each, so amazing! I always get the chicken shawarma with the salad and the baba as my sides. My husband gets different things but we always split a falafel plate. As you can tell I'm a big fan and have been going since before they remodeled the old location a few doors down. Love the bigger sized new place, We go more for the food than ambiance and like the idea of getting a table faster now. Love that I can get a glass of wine now to enjoy! I bring everyone I know in the city and then those that come to visit. Please try, you will be glad you did!

We planned a late dinner during the work week and was not disappointed. At the beginning we were a little nervous because the kitchen was closing soon, but the staff presented and prepared amazing dishes. Similar to other reviews, we ordered the Dinner Sampler. This is a great option for someone new to the restaurant or if you cannot decide what to get. When the food arrived, we were surprised on the large portions and a third person could have joined us and would have enjoyed a filling dinner. Each course burst with Mediterranean flavors and were not too heavy. The bill adds up quickly, but we do not regret the extra expense to add additional Feta or Olives. I have not been overseas and experienced Mediterranean food first hand, but I sure hope it tastes like what Mazah dishes up.

I now have a new restaurant to frequent in my rotation. This place is excellent. From the food to the service and lovely patio -- it's near perfect. My friend and I went for restaurant week and enjoyed some items from their prix fixe menu. The baba ganoush had the right flavors of creamy and smoky going on. We also had a greek salad, of which I was only partly a fan. The flavors were great, but I found the salad too wet for my taste, so I couldn't really finish it. On to the star: The lamb kebabs were absolutely delicious. I will definitely return for those, which were served on a bed of rice. I am not a big rice eater, but whatever they cook and season the rice with makes it d*mn delicious and I ate almost all of it. We tried a delightful, heavenly dessert called kataifi (I think that's how you spell it) which was (I later found) kataifi dough with a creamy cheese baked in the middle then topped with pistachio and honey. OMGsh ... it's definitely different and not as sweet as American dessserts--one of the reason I liked it. As I ate it, I kept wanting to eat more and more of it. To top it off, the service was attentive without being annoying and very friendly.

I had a pretty enjoyable dinner here last week, and I'm happy I went. In general, I'm a big fan of Mediterranean food. Mazah had lots of offerings on their menu at reasonable prices, and I got to try quite a few things in their menu. Their falafel is pretty good, as was their lamb. I thought their hummus had a true chickpea flavor so that was quite welcome. For one of my side dishes, I got the potato salad, and was pleasantly surprised when it was made Mediterranean style with spices, parsley, etc. I don't really think you could go wrong with any of their dishes. However, I didn't have such a stellar experience with service. It took the waiters/waitresses quite a long time to come over and take our order, and we ended up waiting 45 minutes for our food. We actually had to go up to the counter and ask them to check on our order, since we didn't have anyone check up on our table in the meantime. I think we had our water refilled once, as our waitress came and collected our checks. So overall decent food, not so decent service.

Let me start by saying I started going here when it first opened, and I've recommended it to a couple dozen people over the years. Tonight, a Lebanese friend warned me: "Maggie, the owner isn't around much anymore and the place has gone downhill." I didn't believe her and I went anyway. I'm very disappointed to say she was correct: my food was so bland. I had to cover everything with hot sauce to get some flavor. Is it as bad as their competitor down the street? No. But, this wasn't the Mazah I used to know. And if this wasn't a one-off experience, I can no longer recommend that people go here. I talked to the owner many times over the years, so it pains me to write a bad review. But, the quality of my meal was just not good enough. Here's hoping for a turnaround.

As far as "Mediterranean" foods go, I've eaten at Mazah, Aladdin's, and Cafe Istanbul so far. Admittedly, I'm still a novice when it comes to this type of food. So I can't really tell you whether the hummus or the tabouli or the falafel is better at Mazah compared to other similar restaurants. (I thought those dishes at all of the above mentioned restaurants were equally good.) What I can tell you though is that the service at Mazah is significantly better compared to Aladdin's. And for that reason, I would recommend Mazah over Aladdin's if you're looking for Mediterranean food in Grandview/Upper Arlington.

Walked in at 6:55, it's 8:05 and we haven't received our entrees yet. They gave our table away to another couple while we were waiting at the bar (with our name on the list), and I have been nursing ice cubes while the wait staff walks by my table without a second glance. They are busy (it's restaurant week), but this is really absurd and unpleasant. If the entrees are amazing, I'll consider bumping it up to three stars. Post-Dinner Edit: Food was good, not great (we each got kabobs), and the front of house manager comped us a dessert for the mix up and long wait. Big props for trying to make it right, but I'm not likely to suggest this place again.

This place is so good! I had the chicken shawarma player with hummus and bean and rice salad. My friend had the grape leaves with tabouli and baba ghanush. Everything was awesome. So was service.

This was going to be a three-star review. The food was good, but not extraordinary. The shawarma was well flavored but a little dry and the tea was plentiful but weak. But for dessert, I took a chance on Kenafi, a sweet cheese, filo and honey concoction that melted my heart. Bring a friend, it's too big and rich to finish on your own.

I had Mazah for the first time this past weekend. I'd always wanted to try it, but I'd forget about it every Saturday, and they aren't open on Sundays. My girlfriend loves the place. They come to her work often, and she's been telling me how much she loves it. With the Giant Eagle gone, parking for this place is super easy, since you can just use that parking lot. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and setup nicely, but holy cow, it was ridiculously cold in there. I think every patron still had their jacket it on. We ordered falafel for an appetizer, and it was super delicious, and I really liked their tahini. Plus, it came will a few different pickled vegetables that were tasty as well. For lunch, I went with the beef shawarma sandwich, which is a stuffed pita, and the girlfriend ordered the chicken shawarma platter. I have to say that I wasn't all that impressed by my sandwich. First of all, the meat is all at the bottom with the tahini sauce and then they stick all of the vegetables on top, and they put A LOT of veggies on top. Problem is, they don't mix down with everything, so I was basically eating a salad with no dressing, not to mention my pita was completely torn all the way down to the bottom in several places, so everything was falling out. The meat and tahini themselves were pretty tasty, so I'll give them props for that. I ended up eating most of my girlfriend's meal, which was a bit better. The chicken had a pretty good flavor, but it wasn't outstanding. The three bean salad was pretty tasty, but the hummus was just too bland for me. Would I come back here? I might. It may be awhile though, because it's not exactly cheap, and it definitely wasn't my favorite Mediterranean food I've had in town, but I'm always willing to give a place another shot.

Mazah continues to impress. After a long hiatus (and talking about going for, literally, months), we returned for dinner on a warm Thursday evening. We sat inside (as the covered patio has two-person tables and we were a group of three), but the large corner windows provided lots of light and made the space inviting and airy. Our server was excellent, greeting us and providing us with drinks and specials quickly. The menu is varied and with a variety of meatless and vegan dishes, salads, mujadara, etc. so it's friendly for all dietary needs, including gluten-free. All of us ordered kebab dinners with various sides. Every side they have here is delicious, from the hummus to the three-bean salad, just excellently prepared. Our kebabs were char-grilled to exactly medium doneness and served over yellow rice. The spouse got wise quick and deconstructed his kebab, then mixed his rice, potato salad and cabbage salad together into an awesome combo of goodness. We ordered a za'atar for an appetizer - homemade dough brushed with olive oil, and covered in spices and sesame seeds, served with a creamy garlic sauce - very satisfying. The red lentil soup was great, and we ended up getting an extra soup, plus a second, just-made helping of warm potato salad from our server. They're just that nice. We were too full for dessert, but we had to sacrifice in the face of so much good food. Can't wait to go here again.

Mazah is my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Columbus. Yep. I've become quite particular in how I order, so things like 3-bean salad typically do not appeal to me. But somehow Mazah can make cold beans amazing. Cabbage salad? Wow. Falafel? So good. And the hummus... The smoothest, creamiest, those-are-chickpeas?, most delicious hummus I've had in my life. And we're not even to main dishes yet! I usually go with the chicken Shawarma- boneless, skinless breasts seasoned with "Family Spices". It seems simple, but it is so good. I've had the chicken kebob as well, which means grilled, not skewered, as an FYI. Also very good, very juicy. Plus! They do vegan, vegetarian, or gluten free menus if you need! Every part of Mazah is accommodating. I have had wonderful service every time I've gone there- lunch or dinner. I'm not a very outgoing person, but I can't help but smile with how friendly everyone is. It is a great atmosphere. Try Mazah. It is very well worth the two dollar signs.

HORRIBLE. Order was completely wrong waited forever and then the waitress brought it wrong again. She never filled drinks or cleared table. Very over priced. 2 of us for lunch was $60. When I told the manager the service and food were both bad he did not care. So sad. Don't know how they stay in business. Not going back again and telling all my friends not to bother going there.

Definitely 5 stars in my book for taste. I could see how people expect something different when you order this type of food, but this place is exceptionally pleasant. My first experience was great, smooth carry out order, everyone was very friendly. My food was ahmazzzing. Lol. I was so full I couldn't stop eating. I tried the chicken, felafel and a type of lamb/beef burger. Oh and I can't forget about their yummy hummus! I don't think you can go wrong with anything your order here.

Mazah's new location is beautiful, but I recently had a horrendous experience with Mazah refusing to honor a Groupon. The server claimed that Groupons could only be used Monday-Thursday, but that was not listed on the voucher or anywhere on the site. Groupon gave me a refund. The food is good, but it doesn't make up for rude, dismissive service. I won't be back.

  • JJ S.

I bought a Groupon deal for this place ($12 for $20 worth of food). My friend and I came here on a Thursday night. It was a slow night and we were seated right away. The waitress was super friendly. It was our first time here and we did not know what to order. She explained the different options to us and recommended a couple of her favorites. We decided to do a chicken shawarma sample platter for 2! There was so much food to share between the two of us! The chicken shawarma was delicious, the meat was seasoned and grilled to perfection. The homemade hummus was super creamy! I really like the side bean salad and cucumber salads too! They were light and refreshing and complemented the chicken! If you do not know what to order, I would definitely recommend ordering the sample platter to share with a friend!!

Can't believe I forgot to Review this place. Last year, over the summer, I had purchased a Groupon deal for take-out. Thus, this review is based on that first and only chance I've had to visit this place as of yet! A friend and I met here on an early Saturday evening. We hadn't realized that the Groupon was for carryout. Our waitress pointed this out to us after seating us. So we sat at the bar, scanned the menu, then ordered a few different dishes to take home. While we were at the bar, we met the gentleman owner. Nice guy. Very informative about the dishes. He told us about the establishment, also. We decided on a Chicken and lamb kabob over rice, tabouli, cucumber salad, their homemade hummus, and Kenafi treat to round it out. The kabob pieces were good - juicy. I loved the lightly seasoned basmati rice that came with the meat. I thought the tabouli was a bit too tart for me. It made me pucker. The hummus was good. Not my favorite, but subtle and fresh, nonetheless. What leaves the biggest imprint in my mind? The Kenafi! The honey taste got me. It was rich, indeed. I loved the airy "grass-ness" of the super thin noodles (what made up the bird's nest, I forgot to ask?) that were wrapped around a glob of mozzarella/ricotta cheese. The salty pistachio nuts sprinkled on top were the perfect contrast. The first Monday of every month is Lebanese night - I'd like to make a point to try this next time I'm there :)

The new location is fabulous! The colors and decor are beautiful and welcoming, and it now includes a bar and increased seating, both inside and out. The food remains fantastic whether you eat in or do take out... I've never been a regular at a place before, but the staff now recognizes us here sooo... yup, it's safe to say I'm a Mazah fan! My food dilemma is always between chicken shawarma or falafel, and I am completely addicted to the hummus. I will literally eat it plain off of a fork, it is so delicious. The other sides are great too... I frequently rotate between the Greek salad, the potato salad (no mayo - not heavy at all!), the three bean salad, and the like. And if you are not sure what to get (or if you want a bite of lots of things), check out the sampler platters! Also, they are so great about making food for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free folks, so this is a really great place to visit if you need any of those.

Eating here for Restaurant Week was a no-brainer! For $15, you get a choice of three items from the provided menu. By the time we got to the main event, I was almost too full to eat any of it! I was there with 5 of my family members, and even though two of them do not have what I would call 'adventurous' tastes, everyone enjoyed their meal and raved about how delicious the food was. I had the lentil soup, baba ganoush, and the lamb kebab. I don't think I've ever had lamb that was so perfectly prepared. I asked for it prepared medium, and it was perfectly pink and juicy in the middle! We did have to wait for about 20 minutes or more to be seated (even after calling ahead) but they were incredibly busy due to the promotion. Although they were busy, the hostess was very friendly, and our server was accurate and attentive. I'm glad that they have moved into a larger space, as there is definitely demand for it! Their regular menu is fairly priced, so if you haven't visited yet, don't wait until Restaurant Week to check them out!

First time in this newly renovated Mazah, I used to go to the previous one a bit often. This new location, has more parking options so you don't have to deal with the meters. It's also very spacious compared to the old one. The whole atmosphere has changed, new designs and artwork everywhere, love the vibe. As for the food, the food hasn't changed much but it was still pretty good just like it used to be which is great. Kebobs are always a good option, can't go wrong with them. I ordered the lamb chops, they cook the lamb the way you prefer. The seasoning is great as well. If you're craving for some Mediterranean food with a nice fancy feel, Mazah is the spot to check out.

Mazah has amazing Mediterranean food! My friends and I shared the tzatziki appetizer with warm pita bread. I got a delicious falafel platter with a side of Greek salad. It's a nice place to try new food items. Pricing and service are also great!

Quite tasty! I've been visiting this place since it opened a few years ago. It features a nice interior, especially since the expansion, and good food at moderate prices. One must always gets the falafel and the hummus.

Oh I love Mazah! I've only ever ordered the Dinner Sampler or the Family Mazah appetizer because WHY OH WHY would I order anything else?! The dinner sampler (~$25, serves 2) is a great way to try a lot of what Mazah offers, including a choice of soup or salad, a couple of cold bean/veggie salads, Baba Ghanoush, Hummus, Falafel, and an entree of your choice from the list they provide. I like the Chicken Shwarma, which comes with chicken and rice. And everything is delicious. Seriously -- I love Mazah! My most recent discovery is the Family Mazah appetizer, which I've ordered as takeout. You get wonderfully sized portions of Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Tsatsziki, Olives, Labaneh, Pickled Vegetables, and Pita Bread. For $19, I have an awesome array of dips and accoutrements that I end up enjoying for a meal AND taking for lunch the next couple of days. Their new location is more spacious and I love the interior (though I have yet to dine-in here). Did I mention I love this place?

Came here for a going away party for a large group (15 people), and I'm impressed! It was not a busy Wednesday night. The reservation was not painful. When we arrived here 15 minutes before our reserved time, the tables were ready for us. We called in ahead to order, and they started prepping our food before we showed up at the door. Although we only had one waitress, she was super attentive and on top of her game the whole time. Of course, the restaurant is only as good as the food. We decided to get eight 2 for 25 sampler. The appetizers are absolutely delicious. The hummus was probably the best I've had in town. The falafel was sooooooo good. It makes my mouth water just writing about them. My chicken shwarma was very tender, but got a little salty after eating most of the plate. Other people around the table reported their chicken kebob cooked perfectly. So why the 4 stars? It was 7pm, and they had no beef left for beef shwarma. Although they offered to change it to lamb at no extra charge, the lamb was cooked somewhat tough, and are in giant chunks. But this is so far one of my favorite Mediterranean places in columbus.

The lunch buffet they do on Fridays is awesome. It's a little more than I usually spend on lunch, but totally worth it once in a while. I've never seen another Mediterranean restaurant do a buffet before, and I like it.

Food is so good! Service is great--I was in for lunch with friends, we each had a wonderful meal--I had the chicken kebabs with greek potato salad and loved every moment of it. I look forward to returning for dinner.

I got a Groupon ($12 for $20) and decided to try it out. It was during a week night so it wasn't super busy and we were seated (party of 2) immediately. We grabbed hummus as an app (it was delicious and fresh) and I got the Tabouli and tsatsziki with my Kefta kabob, and all were great. The portions are great sized and priced appropriately. The waitstaff was friendly and my water was never more than half empty before someone was around refilling it.

What a delicious and colorful meal!! We got the hummus appetizer to split. And I got the kefta platter with the three bean salad and tabuli. The server was friendly and efficient. I thought the prices were a bit high, but you definitely get a good quality meal. I would come back soon! I saw they have some happy hour specials and a great drink list!

I stopped in for lunch and I have to say I'll be back for sure! I had the beef shawarma platter with 3 bean salad and small Greek salad. The service was excellent and the food was very good and fresh. I think I'm addicted to 3 bean salad now.

I had a groupon for takeout and decided to stop here before work. When compared to the old location, this one is much better. I remember getting takeout at the old location and having no where to wait. Like I was just standing in this little spot next to the register where the servers were coming from and right next to someone's dinner party. This location seems to have plenty of room and is decorated well. The food is somewhat overpriced in my opinion for what it is. No matter how good or convenient the food is, I can still stop at a gyro-esque place and get basically the same thing for half the price. I tried the lunch sampler and it was just okay. I'm not a big fan of the bean salad, but that's more of a person preference. I would like to try it again for a dine in experience since the new location is so nice.

If you're debating between Mazah and Aladdins- pick Mazah. My sister and I ordered the hummus, grape leaves and fatoosh. Everything was excellent. The cocktails are also ah-mazing. Usually with specialty drinks you'll get a lot of sugary mix but this was not the case. We ordered hibiscus mojitos and this cucumber gin thing and both were very fresh and had plenty of booze! I would give ten stars for the cocktails alone. I will be back!

A friend recently turned me on to Mazah and I can't thank him enough. I have yet to find anything on the menu that isn't absolutely delicious. The hot sauce (which isn't really "hot" but does have a lovely kick) is one of the best parts of the dining experience. The meats are well-spiced and the falafel is equally outstanding.

I was already a huge fan of Mazah's (previously reviewed at old location: yelp.com/biz/mazah-medit… ) but my only complaint was the space. I thought it was too small for what they were trying to do. But with this new location, LOVE IT. Can't be beat. Definitely more comfortable and spacious seating, and the food is still top notch. Good lentil soup, chicken shawarma, grape leaves, falafel, and hummus. This is like, real hummus people. Creamy and much better than the store bought stuff. Everything on the menu is good and it has enough variety to please anyone in a dining group with picky eaters, without being overwhelmingly large. The staff has been absolutely wonderful as well and they are always willing to send you home with some extra warm pita bread :)

Great food and good ambiance ! Great place for veggies as they have fantastic falafels. Kibbi, hummus and baba ghanouje is really good here. Decently priced. I haven't been there after the modifications but I think now they have more space.

I buy lunch from Mazah a lot. A LOT. The past couple of times, the service hasn't been great. I just called in an order for lunch today and it wasn't even in their system. I gave them my order after they couldn't find it, and ended up with the starter version instead of the platter that I wanted. The food is usually great here, I just wish the service was better for call in orders. I didn't get an apology for the order not being there.

Quick takeout for Mediterranean food. I got the chicken shawarma platter with tabbouleh and falafel. I wasn't too impressed with their portion sizes, and it wasn't the best Mediterranean food I've ever had, but it was good for a quick dinner. The location is awesome too so it would make a good place for a date in Grandview!

Bleck. Not sure about other Mediterranean restaurants in Columbus but this isn't really Mediterranean. It's American tasting Middle Eastern'ish food with cliche names of dishes but .. no it's not Mediterranean, if you've ever been to that side of the world and tasted what they eat. This is highly Americanized and so no you're not trying some world cuisine over here. You're just pretending you are.

This is my first time at this restaurant. This place is incredibly overrated. My fiancé and I went on a Friday night. The place was not full so we got right in. We ordered two of their speciality cocktails. It took at least 20 minutes to get our drinks. The food was just ok. It wasn't bad but it wasn't special either. Our server never came back to check on us once the food was delivered. Our drinks were empty. We were ready to go; Silverware on our plates, plates pushed to the end of the table and it took ten minutes from this point for the server to bring our check. With so many great dining choices in grandview, I'd recommend people pick somewhere else to go. We won't be back.

One of my favorite Middle-Eastern restaurants anywhere. The food is amazing - their grape leaves and Turkish red lentil soup are wonderful.

This is my first and only yelp review but I had to share how great this place is! My boyfriend and I ordered carry out here tonight and everything was perfect. I ordered the falafel platter with three bean salad and hummus; he ordered the lamb kebob. The food was cooked perfectly and the staff seemed very pleasant. I can't wait to dine in next time!

Great food from a family owned business. The customer service is awesome, as is the food.

Delicious falafel and chicken shawarma! The baklava sundae with Jeni's goat cheese ice cream was great too!

Wow this place was amazing. The service, the specialty pumpkin spice martini, lamb and Lebanese coffee. What a great place to try for my first stop in Columbus!

Went to the restaurant location today for lunch - great spot in Grandview! The restaurant is very nicely decorated. We had outstanding service and the food was top-notch, as I anticipated. All around outstanding experience. The owner even recognized us and stopped by to chat - what a nice, personal touch! A+!

Parking is problematic if you are handicapped. Parking in back is rather tight. Way too noisy with an open style architecture with the option of a booth or table plus outside dining which is nice if the weather permits. Now, the humus is certainly satisfactory, but rather too bland. No salt or pepper on any of the tables and no waiter in sight. The three bean salad was slightly chilled and seemed fresh. The pita which came with the entree was warm--nice touch. The kofta kabob was two generous sized paddies but rather over dressed with tahini. The Greek side salad came with a generous amount of feta cheese. When our waiter did come to ask how everything was, we had pretty much finished so I would say it was rather too late to do anything, if things weren't good. And at the end, the waiter asked if we wanted separate checks ! Right. I think I should treat my 92 year old mother. On the whole, this restaurant is good but nothing extraordinary. I'd rather eat at Cafe Istanbul...

Delicious food! Everything was very fresh (lots of herbs) and high quality. The dinner for two is a lot of food for two people at a great price ($25). Great service: food was delivered quickly and they constantly refilled our drinks.

I have been to the old Mazah location several times but tonight was my first time in their new space- it is larger and more modern, with more seating inside and a larger patio. The food continues to be delicious. I got the chicken kebab platter which had a nice char on it and is a good amount of food for $15. For sides I went for the hummus -which is truly the creamiest I have ever tasted- and the falafel which has somehow gotten even better in this new location. The falafel is the best I have had in Columbus to date, with a nice crust and super creamy inside once you cut into it. I am also a huge fan of their red lentil soup which comes with crispy fried pita strips, though it was a little too hot out to order last night. Mazah continues to be one of my favorite Mediterranean eateries and I will be back to visit ASAP!

We love mazah! When they were in the smaller location we always got our food to go. But this week we dined in and the new location is very comfortable and bright inside. On Thursdays they do 5 for $10 wine tastings. A great deal and we loved all of the wines we tried! Their food is always fresh and flavorful. I love their Greek salad and their falafel. My friend is gluten free and they have a TON of options for her. I would definitely recommend trying mazah if you haven't yet!

I love Mazah, it is one of my favorite restaurants in the whole city. I usually get the chicken schwarma. My favorite sides are the hummus and 3 bean salad but we have tried it all. So fresh! Nice family run business.

Not from around Columbus however, anytime I'm here I make it a point to my family that I want to come here. The workers there are super nice. One waitress, I think a new one, named Morgan was super nice and very attentive to our needs. The Chicken Shawarma is my favorite! Always love getting the baklava or The Birds Nest dessert! However if you haven't tried either, get them both and decide which is your favorite. Really great place and the wait isn't usually long. Overall one of my favorites in Columbus.

I really don't like going out to eat on Valentine's day. I've always felt rushed, have to deal with limited menu's, and generally grumpy staff members. Mazah on Grandview totally changed my mind. While the menu was somewhat limited, it had appetizers, 5 main menu selections, and a great desert all for one very reasonable price for 2 people. Our son is vegan, my wife does not eat red meat, and I'm picky for quality. Mazah satisfied all of us with great service, happy & efficient service and on-time correctly prepared dishes. As we've visited Mazah several times, the food is consistently great. But they exceeded every expectation we had by miles!

The best Mediterranean food I've had...soo fresh and delicious. I always feel like I am making a healthy choice when I eat there because of how I feel after eating there...we've all eaten a heavy, greasy meal and felt awful, this is the complete opposite. You have to try this place.

Good service, but the food was bland and overpriced for Mediterranean food. Hummus had no flavor, and the chicken kabob was literally just chicken over rice (not even a stick -__-).

I got a take-out. I ordered lentil soup and two platters. Everything was delicious. My favorite - hummus, baba ganoush (spelling? ?) And lentil soup. The decor in the restaurant is very nice. Even though I got a Togo order, the owner and staffs were super friendly.
