Have gotten it before, nothing great, nothing horrible. UNTIL TODAY. Our chicken was undercooked and there was a piece of hard semi sharp plastic in the food! Gross! I bit down on it hard too. Talk about a safety concern! Called to inform the restaurant and was told "okay, so what you want now?" Ugh how about an apology and my money back! 30 bucks for undercooked food and plastic?? Nope!!! But alas no refund or food for me tonight

I just ate the General Tso's lunch special. $4.95 for the entree plus for wonton soup (you can also get egg drop, hot and sour, or a soft drink). Wonton was okay, no complaints as I see it as an extra. The General Tso's was very very good. I've had it from a ton of places. It's on the sweeter side of the scale, which I like. Great food and awesome price.

When I lived closer to this area this was my goto place for a good cheap lunch and their 4.75 lunch special can't be beat with soup, entree and your choice of rice. Quick and clean kitchen and they offer delivery in the area which was always a winner for me. For the prices and portions this place is a decent place for your asian fast food needs.

Since moving to the area, this is my go-to Chinese place. It's fast, cheap and tasty, so it can't be beat. I typically get the sweet and sour chicken or shrimp. Portions are huge, so I am always able to have a second meal the next day.

Chicken lo mein and pork fried rice were alright, but the general tsao's chicken and sesame chicken weren't very good. Just wasn't the same favors I've had at other Chinese places. Wasn't crazy about the crab rangoons either. I'll be looking for a different Chinese place to order from.

This is definitely a place to buy from if you value quantity a little more than quality. The portion sizes are big and prices are very reasonable. Delivery is fast, although they always tell you 45 minutes. The young girl that works the register and takes orders is friendly and intelligent.

Hong Kong is conveniently located on Hard Road (where there are many apartment complexes and neighborhoods nearby). The portions are HUGE. My husband can usually get two meals out of a single order and I can stretch it to three. The employees are friendly and they usually offer useful coupons in the mail every so often. If you're craving quick, simple Chinese food I would definitely recommend Hong Kong.

When I want a good, affordable, and quick meal I like Hong Kong. I usually get Szechwan chicken and veggies, with the request for more veggies than chicken for a good and tasty mix. The hot and sour soup is a nice addition a well, all for less than five dollars.

The people here are great, the food is amazing, and the service is spectacular! VERY rarely, when I order in, do they take more than 20 minutes to arrive. Their selection is broad. I recommend this to everyone who lives close to the restaurant.

Saturday night... Craving Chinese food... Google comes to the rescue! Close by and pretty good reviews? I'm sold... Used the online menu to populate a shopping cart which made it easy to order from over the phone. Pick up was fast and easy. Now onto the food... 1) Hot and sour soup 2) boneless spare rubs 3) curry chicken I asked for #1 to be spicy, yet it was very bland overall. Very little flavor or spice. I could taste a little of the flavor, but I've had way better. I wouldn't order this again. I finished it off and moved onto #2... I open the box and it looks good. Pull the first piece out, and turns out it was mostly fat. No big deal... Next piece, fat. Third, a little meat attached to fat... Taste is very bland with very little flavor. Almost slightly sweet (in a bad way), I've had way better. Won't order again.. #3 was the saving grace. It was pretty good with decent flavor (at least compared to the other stuff). Overall I wouldn't go here again. Not sure how it had such good reviews.

Oh how I long for fractional stars when one star is a touch too harsh and two stars are far too generous. Yes the service is fast and friendly, and yes the prices are very reasonable for the quantity of food that you get. However, if my mortician was fast and friendly and cheap, I still would not look at the experience of my own death as a positive one. Just like beef in the US is graded and you can get it at quality levels of Prime, Choice, Select, Probably from a cow, and Taco Bell grades, frozen chunks of prebreaded chicken of various levels of cost and quality are available for Chinese restaurants, The level of quality that Hing Kong buys, which consists of 95% breading, is known as 'The guy who made this was thinking about a chicken when he processed this'. Blech. Their dumplings? If dumplings in a good chinese restaurant were kidneys, these would be kidney beans. Right shape, just incredibly small and full of something that may contain protein but sure ain't any meat I have ever seen before. The operative word in the Lo Mein? 'Lo'. What is consistent about the food? The background taste of burned, well past its due date cooking oil. Now fast and cheap has a place in this world, like priase you receive at work, or your last raise. But when it comes to food, time has told me that having something worth coming back for trumps the rest. If you have 5 bucks or less, skip lunch here one day and go somewhere else tomorrow. 10 bucks gets you 4 tacos and a drink at a taco truck and it will likely be worth it. A place with a better lucn for almost the same price last time I checked was King's Garden just down the street. But check first, I have not been there in a while.

The portions are crazy huge and the food carries some mad flavor. Also, be sure to check out the lunch specials. Very affordable lunch; especially considering the quantities.

Not the best but not the worst as far as fast food chinese is concerned. They do have quick delivery and the prices are pretty fair. It's your typical american/chinese spot .

Food- I've tasted better. The main problem I always run into when ordering from here is that my food is always so greasy. I understand that chinese restaurants use alot of oil but this is just ridiculous. Whenever I'm in the mood for Chinese but too lazy to drive more than .5 miles from my house I go here, but usually I don't because whenever I crave chinese and think of this place I get turned off.

Not bad for Chinese takeout. The beef and broccoli can be a little chewy sometimes, but overall not bad.

Good high school memories here! They've been here for a very very long time and had some remodeling done over the years so this place is obviously doing pretty well and made a name for themselves in this area (in my opinion). Price is not high, food is the standard Americanized Chinese food- definitely will satisfied some craving here.

We've gotten take out from Hong Kong Restaurant multiple times. It's close and relatively fast. However, this past time really takes the cake for bad service. We ordered a combination plate of beef and mixed veg with fried rice and chicken fried rice for me. What we got was near laughable. My chicken fried rice was literally chicken, onion, green onion, and rice. That's it. No vegetables, nothing to give it color and no egg. It was also incredibly greasy, possibly undercooked, and just overall unappetizing. The husband's wasn't terrible, but somehow we were given the quart size order of beef with mixed veg and another carton of fried rice, even though I specified the combination plate with fried rice. His fried rice was even sadder as it was only rice - nothing else. The beef was okay, but it was mostly vegetables and not a lot of beef, with the majority of those vegetables being broccoli and onion. I'm giving two stars because we have had okay food from them in the past, but it seems every time we order take out or delivery, there's something that's just not up to par.

I order from hong kong on a regular basis. They have boneless ribs (hard to find in ohio it seems- im from Massachusetts.) and they are pretty decent... pretty fatty and greasy- but I don't mind the grease at all. if your ordering boneless spare ribs.. you shouldn't either..lol. The food overall is pretty good. I love the house lo-mein its got plenty of meat and veggies. The apps are very very cheap , and the service is pretty quick. if I have any complaint at all it is that the chicken wings are maybe.. too authentic. lol. there have ben times when I have plucked a few feathers off. akward... but they still tasted great. and this is only maybe twice- out of the dozens of times I ordered. everything I have tried is pretty good. Not anything to drive across town for.. but pretty good stuff... and good prices.

You can't beat the portions or the price. It's not the best in the world buy it's good. They deliver to the local area which is also nice. They are open late.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
