Small Chinese restaurant with excellent food! A real find! I drive from Clintonville because of the quality of the food! All dishes are well prepared (pad Thai, moo shu, soups etc ) and all are excellently prepared! There are 28 lunch specials (with steamed rice or fried rice and with an egg roll) for $4.75 and several for this price are shrimp! Prices are really low ( you can even get egg rolls for a buck!) Service is really fast and interior of restaurant is really clean in nice looking (see photos) At one time they delivered but they don't anymore. But still drive over its worth it and not far! Give them a try - you'll be glad you did!!

Wish I knew about this restaurant sooner. Cashew chicken awesome with fresh vegetables. Egg drop soup very flavorful. I had carry out, but dining room was pleasant and clean. Comfortable booths.

Visiting a friend in the neighborhood and at their suggestion it got me through the doors of this great little Mom n' Pop Chinese restaurant next door to Howdy's Deli. Found a comfy booth seat in the clean well lit dining room and took a little time to look over their large menu offerings of the usual Amer-Asian offerings. I ordered my usual bellwethers for a first try, Egg Drop Soup and Singapore noodles. After a short wait the soup was delivered and it was wonderfully hot, tasty with a nice full chicken flavor and not overly salty or bland like I've eaten at other establishments. The Singapore Mee Fun was superb, a big serving of rice noodles tossed with shrimp, roast pork, fried egg and veggies in a mild curry sauce. The roast pork was the stand-out for me, long strips of seasoned pork and not the usual pink/red 5-spice pork you find in this dish at some places. While the there weren't too many people dining in on a Monday evening while we were there a steady flow of carry-out customers passed through during my visit. Friendly service, great values and fresh food is what you'll find here in this neighborhood Asian eatery. While it may not be worth driving across town for, if you're in this part of Cbus it's worth seeking out for some tasty affordable eats.

The parking lot was empty on a cold, wet afternoon in November. I had just finished a round of golf in a light, frigid rain that was constant from start to finish. I sat shivering in my car contemplating how much soup I would need to warm my bones. The chill was so deep that I could barely open my door. How did I forget a jacket? I entered the restaurant and was shocked by the beauty before me. Almost too beautiful for the rough surrounding neighborhood. I was perplexed. Someone loved this place. I approached the register shivering and with my head low. Immediately, I was offered soup and tea by the sweetest woman I have ever met. Concern was in her eyes, like that of a mother who only sees her son on holidays and wonders where she went wrong. She asked what I wanted and I said, "What we all want. MONEY. FAME. A WARM BED WITH SOMEONE TO SHARE IT. And maybe some noodles." She grinned larger than a jack o lantern on Halloween and said, "I make you some noodles." I waited half-thawed in a comfortable booth as the clang of spoon to wok rattled in the kitchen. I sipped my tea and thought, "I like this place." My foster Chinese mother appeared with a box stuffed full of lo mein noodles plus beef and chicken. How did she know? What is the meaning of all if this? Does it even matter? These questions were to be answered. She told me the price and I paid her. She said, "Thank you. You find jacket. It cold out there." I knew what she was trying to say. I arrived home minutes later feeling warmer than before. The tea and soup had kicked in, along with the small token of love I had received, and with fortune advice, no less. I tore into the noodles like a savage into the first fresh kill of the Winter and I didn't stop until every noodle had disappeared. They were the best I had ever had.

This restaurant sits in the corner spot next to Howdies and if you didn't know it was there you'd miss it. They've been open four years according to the lady (the owner) who works out front. First off, the eggrolls are Awful! I didn't even finish mine. The sweet and sour chicken was okay but the chicken was colder than everything else in the dish so they must have fixed that earlier and warmed it up for me. The fried rice was great! I brought a menu back with me and I may try them again. They are very close to where I live. They used to deliver but not any more.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city.
