This place was great. The food came out immediately and cooked perfectly even though my husband and I came 20 minutes before closing on our anniversary. They treated us very well and Casie was a great server. We will be back!!!!

Are YOU kidding? Who knew I had to travel to Columbus from the SF Bay Area to have one of the BEST fish meals I've ever had!! The rainbow trout melted in my mouth. Gorgeous fresh fish. The side of garlic potatoes was the perfect companion. Hearts of Palm on my side salad dressed perfectly with homemade vinagrette. I will be back Bonefish Grill!! Fantastic!!!

Went here last night for my birthday with my wife and daughter. Let me start by saying that the biggest reason for the marginal rating is due to the service. Part of the reason I decided to go to Bonefish was because of the description of the culinary journey they take their guests on (as described in their mission statement). Unfortunately our server seemed to be preoccupied and paid little attention to us. I would've thought of her as new but she even stated that she had been there a long time. There was no journey to be found. We had to ask if there was any specials or what was fresh on the menu. It was after that that she presented us with a Tuesday specials list. When we had questions about the menu she had little knowledge (or to say) about what makes Bonefish so special. Ok so on to the food. Everyone raves about the "Bang, Bang" shrimp. The rave reviews are deserved. One of the best things I've ever ate. My wife and I decided to have the Tuesday Surf & Turf (for two). For $22 per person we got a 3oz filet grilled perfectly, a steamed (small) lobster tail and a seared Ahi tuna steak grilled rare. Three accompaniments topped off the meal. Chick peas, asparagus, and scalloped potatoes. I think the flavors were good. Think grilled food, simply seasoned so the flavors were not "in your face" powerful. I personally think the Tuna was the best. It had a drizzled Asian sauce over top of it but not so much as to take away from the natural flavor. In my personal opinion the "bang, bang" shrimp and Ahi Tuna were the stars and the most memorable parts of the whole experience. I think the filet and the lobster tail were rather small for two people to share. Crème Brulee topped off the dinner and was good. My daughter is a picky eater so she had a bacon burger. Burgers are clearly not what you go to the Bonefish Grill for. Nuf said I'm not sure if this place has interested me enough to say "I really want to go back". First impression is big for me and this "first timer" rates it a failure. I think I will keep looking for that hidden gem.

bang bang shrimp is good. seafood tacos are good. menu selection isn't that great but OK. many places sever bang bang shrimp so not that impressed but it was good. I would go again only on wed. when its half price for the bang bang shrimp.

A pleasant experience at the first Bonefish Grill I have been to. The Cod special, Jasmine rice and vegetable medley were delicious. The cod was served with a tomato and scallion salsa that had a nice zest. No wait (Mon night) and service was prompt and professional. Lighting was a bit darker than I'm used to but not too dark to see a menu (or your food!). Varied wine list and a few craft beers in addition to the major brands. And yes, the bread and olive oil were a plus.

People rave about how great this restaurant is. But in fact, the only quality here is the service and decoration. If you take away the flash, the food is not even average. I will just give one example from a bad experience. I ordered fish & chips. The portion size was small, but I'm not a huge eater so I didn't mind that. The fries were the same kind you get at a chain diner, like Bob Evan's. The fish, however, was the worst injustice of the meal. Yes, it was more of an oily fried batter than a crisp one. But I had to spit out my bite because it was made with tilapia. Tilapia is one of the cheapest types of fish you can buy. It is a carp. To me, it tastes like dirt and I hate it. Because of it's strong flavor, restaurants will indicate it when a fried fish is something other than the standard Atlantic cod or Haddock. I was shocked that this is what they served and charged more for than if they were to use a pricier fish such as cod. Very disappointing.

If you're looking for fresh seafood look elsewhere, the sauces overpower the fish. The staff was extraordinarily friendly and knowledgeable. Very nice ambiance but it was louder than we expected, You couldn't hold a conversation with the people at the table. The restrooms were very clean but very cold.

Bonefish is a nice chain and does a nice job with a variety of fish. One of my co-workers loves this place, so I'm going there everytime he comes to town. The store at Polaris is nice, although its in the middle of a strip mail (rather than stand alone), so you walk right by the Smoothie King to get to the door. Both times I've been there we've eaten in the bar area. It's a nice, dimly lit area. The service has always been very good. Wine and beer selection seems better than many chains, limited, but the available selection are typically good. The food is always good. This isn't a cheap place, so a good place to go when work or someone else is picking up the tab.

We went there on Friday night for a friend's birthday and had an incredible dinner. Our reservation somehow got lost, but the manager and staff went out of their way to apologize and make the situation right. We were still seated immediately and the staff was very apologetic. This really stood out to me and compelled me to write a quick review commending their service. There are enough reviews on Yelp about how great the food is here. Everyone at the table was more than happy with their food. What stood out to me was the service. The waitress was excellent as well in terms of explaining specials, bringing out food quickly, and keeping glasses full. I've been to plenty of restaurants in this price range that lean on their great food thinking they can compromise on service. Bonefish Grill has excellent food and great service. It is definitely worth checking out if you have not been. You will not be disappointed.

They know how to cook fish that's for sure. They also know how to drown that well cooked fish in almost any sauce imaginable. To make this meal more palatable, get the sauce on the side and get it grilled. Did I say they know how to cook fish? The fish is very fresh and very varied choices. Service is great. the people are smart, smart looking, talkative, and well trained. Good job. The have an amazing happy hour; the entrance and bar area were super packed. Keep this in mind. I'll have to try it sometime, but as an east sider, my happy hours are more geographically specific. Bathrooms are large and very tidy. Great job. Overall I'm a fan, and the throngs that were there on a Wednesday night, they agree. Make a rez, they did honor the time very nicely.

Chilean Sea Bass...enough said! Really great prices so you can afford dessert or drinks. Very relaxing atmosphere and great lighting gives this place an intimate feeling but a place you can also go with friends. Overall a great place to eat and enjoy the company of others.

I have searched this town over for great grilled salmon. Well, look no further ~ 'cause I used to believe it was up the street at Brio but Bonefish Grill is the best, freshest, most consistently great grilled salmon in town. No fishy smell, always cooked to perfection. I have a favorite dish at Bonefish and it's the Grilled Salmon and Asparagus Salad (I eat gluten free at the advice of medical professionals) and this fits the bill given it is on their Gluten Free Menu. This salad is to die for! Steamed asparagus draped over a huge mound of greens, grilled salmon on the side with a wonderful yummy and flavorful topping, goat cheese and fennel. I am not keen on sweet salad dressings but this slightly sweet dressing is a perfect complement to all these fabulous flavors. And I have even gotten it to go and it's perfection! They put the salmon and dressing in separate containers so no wilted greens when you get it home. We enjoy sitting at the bar to eat too and the bartenders, Laura, Amanda and MJ are all so friendly and professional. Can't ask for a better group of people. Oh, and they have a terrific gluten free brownie too! Yummy, moist, rich in chocolate, with fresh whipped cream, raspberry sauce and ice cream. Every meal we're gotten there is outstanding and reasonably priced. A weekly event in this household!

There are 4 of us that try different restaurants all the time. We have been to the best rated restaurants in Columbus and most are disappointing. But, the Bonefish has been consistantly fabulous. We are never disappointed by the food and the service has always been great. I love the crab corn chowder and the appetizer size seared Ahi. Calamari great and my friends love the bang bang shrimp. This restaurant Rocks.

This location is nice and cozy. Loud and friendly. Service is prompt. I cane Tuesday night or dinner and was seated quickly. Many good choices, the waiter actually steered me away from a few, don't know if he is opinionated or just plain honest. You get sone bread and oil for dip. Great choice except, my bread was warm and dry. ( been baked for a while and kept under light to keep warm). I ordered bang bang shrimp as every one raves about, was very good and spicy. For entree I got the seared salmon salad. Great stuff if you like a nice juicy salmon, herb crusted with some goaty goat cheese and fresh veggies. Good service, good value, will repeat.

We got a $25 "welcome to the neighborhood" Bonefish Grill card in the mail. That got us in the door. And we were not disappointed! We both started off with drinks - Christmas Ale for him, a Hpnotiq Martini for me. The beer is a little pricey for what you get, so I'd stay away from that unless it's Happy Hour. The Martini was also a little pricey, but very good. If you're going to splurge, go for a mixed drink. Appetizer: Bang Bang Shrimp, on the suggestion of seemingly everyone. And man oh man, they are all spot on. Crispy, full of flavor, absolutely fantastic. But very SPICY. I had to abandon the martini for some water. In addition to the shrimp, we received fresh baked bread and pesto which was excellent. The bread was constantly refilled, and service was overall very good. Entrees: I got the lobster tail since I don't like fish (they do have plenty of non-fish options, though), he got the sea bass. Remember how I said the bread was constantly refilled? That's good, because we ate quite a bit as we waited...waited...waited...for our entrees. We were then informed they had dropped my lobster tails on the floor and had to be re-done. Whoops! Well, when I did get them, they were excellent. They do their lemon butter over an open flame to keep it hot, which is a great touch. Husband said the sea bass was "pretty good" - I tried a bite, and I hate fish, but it was a very nice meaty, non-fishy flavor. My only complaint is that my asparagus, which you pay $1 extra for, was overcooked to death. Hubby's potatoes au gratin was very nice, though. Dessert - they told us they'd comp my dessert for the lobster tail incident, which was great, as dessert was planned anyway. I got the chocolate creme brulee, hubby got the standard. Didn't like it at first, as the first bite was Grand Marnier punching me in the face, but second bite soothed the flavor and both were quite yummy. They ended up comping BOTH desserts, and taking our $25 card even though we forgot to activate it online, with no complaints. Management is awesome, food was great - we will be back!

For dinner on a Saturday night, Bonefish seemed like it might be a good option. Luckily I made reservations, because the restaurant was close to capacity when we arrived. We had the bang-bang shrimp app, and it was outstanding. They had a wine list that was sufficient, with some sampler glasses being ordered prior. The entrees were fine and our server very attentive and personable. Will go back next time I am in the Columbus area.

My husband and I went last night since we had a gift card for our anniversary. We will definitely be back. We started off with the Wagyu Beef + Ginger Dumplings - do NOT pass these up. They were an excellent blend of everything Pan Asian with a nice gingery bite. He had the sirloin and crab cakes. I'm typically a steak snob and only do filet, but this steak was amazing. I had the tuna done Tokyo style and it was like sushi wrapped in a finely seared steak - scrumptious. Another big hit for us was the Jasmine rice. We topped it all off with a chocolate creme brulee. A fine finish to a fabulous evening. In contrast to other reviews, we felt the portions were "just right". Finally, we have to give a shout out to the superb service - each course came out perfectly timed and our server was very attentive.

I'm not a fan of most seafood. I usually have to be in the right mood to crave fish, and that mood is pretty rare. However, if I'm asked to dine at the Bonefish Grill, I never turn that down! The staff is very attentive and professional, the atmosphere is quiet and cozy (a perfect romantic dinner getaway), and the food is sensational. The Bang-Bang Shrimp, one of their signature appetizers, is absolutely phenomenal, and gets devoured very fast. There are two reasons, however, that I can't give this place a perfect review. The first is the drink menu. It's a little overpriced, and the drinks aren't crafted very well. Granted, the bartender could've been new, but the Pub right down the street still has the best drinks on Polaris. I also wasn't a fan of their steak. It wasn't bad, but I'm extremely picky about steak, and I've had much better at other places. Of course, this is primarily a seafood restaurant, so don't read too much into that. Small gripes aside, this is easily of my Top 10 favorite restaurants in Ohio. If you've never tried this place, I highly recommend it for the food and service. If it's drinks you are seeking, go elsewhere.

As always the bang bang shrimp did not disappoint . The crab cakes were also really good. I was looking for a lite meal, so I could enjoy dessert. The Key Lime pie was well worth it. Nice atmosphere and service as well.

This place is so inconsistent with food and wait staff. First the fish we ordered was delivered to our table by a food runner and she just dropped it on the table hard and walked off. How odd. Then the fish was cooked wrong, unless you like med-rare chilian sea bass and mahi mahi - after the 3rd try it was right, but of course the fish looked like it's been stepped on now. Not a single apology from our server or anyone.

My boyfriend and I went here for Valentine's Day dinner. It was the first time for both of us. We made a reservation a month in advance. The wait time wasn't too bad for walk-ins, about 30 minutes. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes though, even with our reservation. We started with a pomegranate martini and Sam Adams. The drinks were on the small side (everything on the menu is a smaller portion than other places). Boyfriend was not happy with his $4 little flute of domestic beer. The martini tasted nice, but very light on the alcohol. For the price point, I'd skip the drinks next time. I had read reviews before going that recommended the Bang Bang Shrimp. I can see why. It was delicious. Crispy shrimp tossed in a delicious, slightly spicy sauce. I would go back just for that appetizer. We ordered salads (house and ceasar), Pecan Crusted Trout and Grouper seasoned with lemon butter. We both had the house vegetable which is a succotash of corn and lima beans tossed in a bacon sauce. We also had garlic mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. The fish was really nice. I would have liked more of a lemon flavor than butter flavor in the grouper, but that's just personal preference. The trout was outstanding. The pecan crust and artichoke sauce gave the trout a very nice flavor. The sides were okay. The succotash was good but I didn't think the potatoes or veggies were anything special. The salads were very small. We weren't served any bread. I didn't even realize we were supposed to get bread until after our main course. That was disappointing. I liked that the restaurant was smaller. It didn't have that chain restaurant feel. The price point is pretty high for the portion size. Our bill was $65 before tip. I've spent a lot of time in coastal states so I'm very picky when it comes to seafood. I find it's very hard to find good seafood in Columbus. I'm giving it 4 stars because if I'm really craving seafood, I'd splurge and eat here again. I think the quality is better than other restaurants in the area.

Bar staff is the most friendly, and happy hour crab cakes and vodka martinis are worth it. Skip the dining room as the dishes aren't consistently impressive nor is the service. The downside to the bar is its location; a bowling alley of sorts where the foot traffic coming and going is disruptive and at times making it breezy in the winter months.

Bonefish has the ability to take something totally healthy and turn it into a heart attack! I ordered the salmon, seasonal veggies and broccoli as my additional side. It was delicious, but only because it was dripping in oil/butter.

I had the Chilean seabass and it was decent, not the best, not the worst. They have many gluten free/dairy free options. If you have an allergy/sensitivity to MSG, ask for the manager. They do not add MSG in-house to any of our seasonings, salad dressings, or our entrees, however, there are some items that contain a type of MSG that occurs naturally. These items would include tomatoes, mushrooms, some cheeses, and anything made with beef, chicken, crab and other bases (hydrolyzed protein). They do have 2 items that come to us with MSG in them, they are our cheese sauce base and Andouille sausage. These are the items you should avoid when you visit them if you have an allergy/sensitivity: Organic chick peas and greens seasonal garnish, Saucy Shrimp appetizer, Corn Chowder w/Lump Crab, Caesar dressing (the only salad dressing recommended is our Citrus Herb dressing) and parmesan cheese, Potatoes Au Gratin, Island rice, Pistachio Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout, Diablo Shrimp Fettuccine, Chicken Marsala, Crab Cakes appetizer, Creole Sauce, Spaghetti Squash, Imperial Longfin and anything with the Imperial topping, and the Lime Tomato Garlic topping for any of the grilled fish. If you order the Mussels Josephine, House Salad or Florida Cobb Salad, ask for them without tomatoes. Avoid Marinara sauce, and if you order the Fontina Chop, ask for it without the Marsala sauce.

The food here is always good, they have consistently high quality menu, a difficult feat for a chain. However, I can't say the same about the staff. I wrote a meh review about Marcella's Polaris location recently, but I have to say, I have NEVER had anything but great service at a cameron mitchell restaurant and the staff at Bonefish seemed really disorganized. Our server in particular had a moment of disagreement about my husband's cocktail (he ordered a moscow mule for happy hour, she brought their specialty 'The Mule' drink not included in the happy hour) and immediately just got the manager, which made me feel awkward, like, seriously, are we like shouting or making a commotion that you bring the manager? And this brings me to a customer service pet peeve, so bear with me for a little rant: if you are going to do something nice for a customer (comp a meal, give a discount, offer something extra, make a return in an unusual situation) you should just smile, say "this is out of the ordinary, but we are happy to do it" or whatever. When waitstaff or salespeople sit there and go "oh it's not allowed, but I guess I can do it...." or "You are only supposed to get X, but I guess I can make an exception..." I feel like you're pulling a guilt trip on me and what I remember is the attitude of unwillingness not that you ultimately compromised. Okay, so I just felt like the drink thing was a dispropotionate response. But the food at Bonefish is good and this location is no exception.

Before I get started, let me say I normally loathe chains. However, I always love Bonefish. Fast, attentive, professional service. Well-made cocktails, consistently excellent menu offerings and quality of food. If you like coconut, be sure to order the coconut cream pie for dessert. It's crazy unique and incredibly tasty.

I've lived in Columbus almost 4 years now and have wanted to try this place since the first time I heard about it. I'd only heard good things. I stayed away as I thought it was a little steep....based on the menu prices I saw online. Finally the opportunity arose to go. I was presently surprised!! Went on a Saturday evening and thought I'd have to wait forever. Was seated right away, possibly due to the fact it was very early evening. Our waitress was very pleasant! We started out with the bang bang shrimp for an appetizer! OH-YUM!! How amazing it was! I had the salmon. The salmon was just okay. I've had better....but won't judge the whole place based on one piece of fish. Oh and the bread with oil and pesto they bring out is amazing too....almost forgot about that! So....the manager came to our table and offered us free dessert as our waitress thought our wait was long for our food to come out (which it wasn't). We had the chocolate creme brûlée!! Amazing!! That was very kind of the waitress and manager! Look forward to coming back again soon. ;-)

I came in only for the $6 Bang Bang Shrimp Wednesday night special. I was surprised at how much they give you for something that is supposed to be a appetizer, I was full. It's like a sweet creamy sauce with a little bit of tang if you never had it before...

Bonefish is our go-to restaurant for date night. The food is consistently fantastic. I always order the same thing - Chilean sea bass with the chimichurri sauce... The ceviche is great too. And of course the bang bang shrimp. There isn't a bad thing on the menu! If you go, ask for Liz to be your server. She's the best of the best!

Overall this place is good. The service was friendly and prompt. However there seemed to be many employees standing around the dining room "observing" which led to some awkward glances. The food was very good. I heard not a single complaint come from our table.

I love this restaurant! It does not feel like a chain restaurant. The menu offers a wide selection. Choose a fish, choose how you'd like it prepared. I've tried several combinations now and enjoyed all of them. The bang bang shrimp really is as good as everyone says. The service has always been exceptionally good. The bread is simple, but amazing...fresh with pesto oil dip. The worst part is choosing between creme brulee and chocolate creme brulee. Both are delicious, which is what I ordered last time. That's right, two desserts, and I ate them both! This would easily be a 5 star review if they had more beverage choices for non-drinkers. No Red Bull, sweet tea or anything besides soda. If a non-alcoholic beverage menu exists, I have yet to find it. Please consider adding this.

Worst plate of food I have been served anywhere. My wife and I both love halibut so we tried the Oscar Turbo. The entire plate, fish, ravioli and vegetables were drenched in vegetable oil. Sign of a poorly trained saute cook or pans that need to be replaced, possibly both. It also didn't help that the tail piece of fish we were each served was very over cooked on the bottom side (so much so that it was difficult to cut) and almost raw on the top. It is criminal that they consider themselves an upscale seafood house and put out a plate of garbage like that! Who is watching over this place? Apparently no one. Explains why the restaurant was nearly empty at 9:15 on a Saturday night. Our server Casey was the only highlight. Next time I am in the area and hungry I will go across the street to Steak and Shake instead. Dine at your own risk!

Decent seafood at a reasonable price. I thought my sea bass fish was skimpy and so were the sides. Still was slightly hungry after my meal. I felt I make a tastier sea bass at home than this place but it was still good. Service was great and so is the ambience.

Extremely poor service led to a pretty awful experience. Staff seem to be young, under-trained and disinterested. Hostess was unpleasant. Bartender delivered a martini in a stinky, dirty glass. Dishes were generally decent but overpriced. Will not be returning.

I'm normally not a big fan of chain restaurants but Bonefish Grill is not your typical chain. We had reservations for our most recent visit and arrived about 15 minutes before our reservation and found a couple of seats at the bar. The lady tending bar was exceptionally pleasant and very efficent. She took our order and served our drinks promptly. We were seated at our table within 5 minutes of the time of our reservation. Our server was very good -- which I describe as attentive without being overbearing. She was there to refill our water glasses and take our drink orders without being intrusive. Overall - our service -- from the hostess to the bar to the waitress in the restaurant was all excellent. A trip to Bonefish Grill would not be complete without an appetizer of "bang-bang shrimp". This is one of my all time favorite appetizers and was as exceptionally good as I remembered. For dinner, I started with a cup of the roasted tomato and red pepper soup and my wife has the Bonefish house salad - both were very good. The dinner menu always includes a number of specials and my wife and I both ordered the "steak topped with lobster thermidor" special and it was excellent. Prices are a little higher than the standard "Polaris Pakrway fare" - aka cost of the casual chain restaurants but they were lower than most of the fancy seafood restaurants. Overall - excellent food / excellent service and reasonably priced.

I got sick eating here. Coming out both ends. I had a fish plate that was soaked in oils and it just isn't friendly to my stomach. They comped my meal, $10, and our dessert. I'm typing this as I kneel over the toilet, praying I don't have to puke too much.

It has taken me almost a week to write this review. Simply because of how pissed I was. Went there for a friend's birthday dinner 7/12/14, and was greeted with prompt service which was wonderful. Ordered our food and drinks quickly. We ordered the "Bang Bang Shrimp", my boyfriend and I's favorite. When it came out, I immediately alerted the waitress that I mistakenly forgot to inform her of his onion allergy and asked her if the kitchen can remake it. When it came back out, about 5-10 min later we thought it was remade. WRONG! The onions were scraped off, and we didn't notice that until midway through eating and I spotted some green onions still there. I immediately told my boyfriend to stop eating, but it was to late he already started having a reaction. Pissed at this point, I immediately asked for the manager. When the manager arrived, her tone was condescending. She didn't offer to call medical transport if we needed it, it was just an attitude of "Well I really can't do anything for you." I told her the food still had onions in it, but she said that she saw them remake it but it was right next to another one that was being made. Well my question is if someone in your establishment told you that they have a food allergy wouldn't you want to make sure that their food was made correctly? All the manager did for us was comp our meal, and have us fill out a form for "insurance" purposes. I am just irritated at how she handled this situation.

Based on the fact that Bonefish wants to be somewhat upscale, that's the lens through which I view my experience. The ambiance and location is great. No problems there. Unless they are having specials (which they usually put on a separate menu), their menu is very limited for me. Sometimes I'm just not feeling the fish they way they want to make it, and the special menu helps to keep things different. Otherwise, it's just pretty ordinary. Having been there several times and tried several menu items, I can say that most of the time their food is tasty. However ... !! I tell you, never, EVER order the lobster grilled cheese. It's pretty disgusting. It sounds good, but far from it. You get some chunky lobster on tasteless, toasted white bread with scant amounts of cheese. On the side comes overdressed field greens and (overkill) lobster bisque. Skip this dry, tasteless sandwich. The wine menu is not as expansive as I'd like (or perhaps just not the selections I prefer) for a restaurant of this caliber. Not a place I'd think of first, but I can see enjoying happy hours there from here on out since the bar food/apps tend to be better than the dinner. The chocolate creme brulee is to die for, though. A plus.

I ate fish & chips. The tempura coating was soggy & the fish the same. I am not impressed.

This place has great food and great service. The bang bang shrimp is out of this world and a must have. They also have great cocktails. Can't remember what it was called may be their Cosmo with frozen cranberries (see pics)?

I've been coming to this location for years. It's become a family hangout. Everything here is wonderful. The service is great. The bang bang is awesome!!! The menu is large. You can get awesome fish or go for a hamburger or meat. The sides are delicious and the desserts are tasty. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

This place is awesome. Always great service. The bang bang shrimp is to die for.. I like the ambiance as well. They have a great deal on the shrimp in Wednesdays.

So many problems with this visit! First of all, service was slow. Very slow. No one got their drinks at the same time. Food came out sporadically, or not at all. Secondly, we were told that they were out of lemonade for my daughter and then two seconds later another server appeared with the lemonade. Everything was very inconsistent. Which we discovered later, had a bug in it. Also, my entree salad, the "Tomato Avocado Panzanella"was supposed to be full of tomatoes and avocados. It came with ONE slice of avocado in it. And was the same size as the side salad another person at our table ordered. Lastly, another guest at our table ordered the ceviche and never received it, but was billed for it. I paid $70 for my family of three's meal. Worst $70 I ever spent and I will never visit again. The only good thing about the meal was my daughter's mac and cheese. Pretty yummy.

Was about average for a restaurant, but not truly a seafood restaurant. The service was ok, but was not EXCELLENT. I probably would go to caraba's instead for the same food, or a true seafood restaurant for seafood.

Best seafood I've had in years! Got the tilapia and it was delicious! Hubby got the lobster thermador mahi mahi and he lived out. The mashed potatoes were delicious and the salads were big. Three bread they serve before the meal was perfect... Light but crispy and soft. The waitress Madelyn was great...very friendly and nice.

People of Earth, know this: we had an unbelievably fantastic dinner here. Our server (Charles K) was second to none: attentive, professional, knowledgeable, funny; no downside at all. If he's working then you should request his section and you will be impressed. The crab cakes are probably the best I've had west of Baltimore. R's salmon was tasty as well and cooked perfectly; I'd recommend you get the sauce on the side as she did. All this for less than $50. We will be back for sure.

Wow!! Started off with a sangaria(yummy). Then we ordered the Bang Bang shrimp appetizer.. It is shrimp on a small bed of lettuce with the shrimp coated in a spicy sauce!! Not too hot.. Just right heat:) then I got the filet steak with potatoes and asparagus!!! Yum! The steak was soo tender and juicy.. Melted in my mouth!! We got the chocolate creme brûlée soo good!! This is by far one of my favorites!!!

The bang bang shrimp are big enough to feed two people without any problem. The bar tender (sat there to watch tv) was personable and helpful. The other item I got was not so good. I got the fish and chips. The tempura batter does not stick to the fish making it a giant mess and the home made tartar sauce had enough dill mixed into. It to kill someone (and I love it when there is a little dill in the tartar sauce). Overall, I'd come back for some shrimp, have to take a second look at the menu before giving something else a try.

I've been to this location twice and enjoyed my visits. The drinks were reasonably priced as well as the food. Bonefish Grill tends to be a pretty consistent chain and the seafood is always flavorful and I don't feel like I have to worry about getting sick from the fish. I've ordered the Lily's Chicken and the Grilled Tilapia with garlic, and they were both delicious. The portions are perfect--not too much but you don't leave hungry--and the service was acceptable.

Sat at bar to order take-out.... draft beer tasted and smelled like vinegar. Bartender wouldn't check tap like he should have and I still had to pay for it. Made sure the "tacos" wouldn't be ruined by the time I got back to the hotel(which was right behind restaurant) they were, the take-out dish was filled with oil? I had to take my filling out and mixed with my husbands tacos and we shared. Then the side was wrong, ordered scalloped potatoes and got the garlic mashed instead. I didn't think I "needed' to double check my order since it appeared to be a "high class" restaurant. 1st and last trip. Plenty of other restaurants on the same Polaris Pkwy... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Took my wife and kids here for dinner tonight, hoping for a higher-than average level dining experience. We're not "foodies" per se, but we know when we're overspending for food. Tonight was one of those nights. First off, the service. Extremely friendly and accommodating service, with that "just right" amount of table attention, not too invasive, not too absent. I ordered the Shrimp and Scallops with the Asian sauce, my wife had the Fish Tacos. The kids had mac and cheese with fries and fish strips with fries. It felt like a fairly substantial wait for the food, but I didn't measure it. It was nicely offset with delicious bread (two loaves) with an amazing dipping oil with herbs. My plate came, and it was... meh. In terms of presentation, I've seen better. Heck, I've DONE better. My plate was dirty all the way around, it just looked sloppy. Half the plate had nothing on it, all the food was slopped on one side, clearly no thought whatsoever was given. My garlic mashed potatoes had developed a shell from sitting under a barely adequate heat lamp. Flavor was good, the sauce was delicious. My chickpeas and veggies were lukewarm. My wife got a salad which I sampled, and it was great. THe Fish Tacos had pretty good flavor, and were presented reasonably well, but the meat could have been a lot hotter. The kid's loved their food, but I tasted the fries and they were limp, and not crispy at all. The mac and cheese pleased my son, and the fish strips were hands-down fantastic. Some of the best deep fried fish I've had anywhere, ever. The dining experience was accentuated with the oddity of what sounded like a man with a megaphone in the kitchen sending out orders. It was really loud, and more than a little distracting. That, along with the sloppy presentation and dirty plates (just wipe it with a towel before it goes out, for heaven's sake!) left me thinking that it was $60 not well spent. I'll go somewhere else next time.

We LOVE the Bonefish Grill!! They have a remarkable menu and the food has always been amazing -- whatever we've tried! I can't say we've ever been disappointed when we've dined in or carried out. Our favorites from Bonefish are the Bang, Bang Shrimp, the Saucy Shrimp, the Singapore Calamari and we loved a tilapia fish sandwich -- that I was informed tonight has been removed from their menu... We also LOVE the bread and pesto that comes complimentary with your meal! Particularly fantastic with the "saucy shrimp"!! I was surprised to read criticism in a couple of reviews about the service that Bonefish provides!! I have ALWAYS felt they offer SUPERB service! Tonight was no exception! I called in a carry-out order and a woman by the name of Meredith (sorry if this isn't the way she spells her name - I didn't ever see it "in writing" - she just identified herself verbally to me) assisted me. She was EXTREMELY pleasant when she answered the phone, seemed pleased to be able to help me and appeared to express genuine regret that they no longer carried the fish sandwich that I was trying to order. Meredith appropriately gave me a moment to "think" then asked if she might make a couple of recommendations! Very helpful when you have that "deer in the headlights" type of feeling!! LOL... Anyway -- she suggested a couple of things and I opted to select one of them as well as another item -- just in case our tastes weren't "similar". She was efficient and thorough while taking my order -- AND patient since I had to kind of "wing it" with what I ended up ordering... Upon arrival at the restaurant to pick up my order, I was IMMEDIATELY greeted and Meredith remembered the order -- made a comment that she hoped I'd be pleased with what she had recommended and that she'd run back to see if the order was ready. When she returned she apologized that the food wasn't ready -- which wasn't an issue because I had arrived earlier than the time estimate she had given me as to when it would be ready. She had me take care of my bill and asked if I'd like a COMPLIMENTARY beverage while I waited!!! WOW!! When's the last time you had service like THAT??!!! And she took the time to confirm my order -- as well as the fact that I had requested silverware etc!! After taking care of another party's order, she then said she'd go back to check on the order again -- and would I mind letting anyone else that might come in, know that she'd be right back! She was VERY conscientious!! While waiting, I noticed a couple of (or what appeared to be) chefs, walking through the restaurant and checking with various tables as to how their meals were etc. Very nice touch I thought! My food was then ready, handed to me piping hot, with a smile and a request to let Meredith know what I thought of her recommendation! Later, after eating, my only regret was that I hadn't trusted her more and ordered TWO of her recommendation!! Although my other selection was also good, Meredith definitely knew what she was talking about when she recommended the Baja Fish Tacos!! THANK YOU MEREDITH!! I guess the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I do find their food a titch on the "pricey side"... It's GOOD and it's a great meal -- but sometimes even the "lesser" things -- like appetizers etc tend to run a little high in my opinion. BUT having said that, I HIGHLY recommend the Bonefish Grill -- especially this location on Polaris Parkway!!! It's refreshing to have GOOD food AND GOOD service!!!

Delicious! Went for Mother's Day brunch, and everything was delicious. There was a mess up with an order but they fixed it speedily and generously comped of our bill. Anything "bang bang shrimp" is a must have!

Last night was my boyfriend's brother's birthday and this is where his family decided to celebrate. I was lucky enough to get to tag along. Man, this place was good. First of all, it's beautiful on the inside. We sat down in a big, comfortable booth. Our waitress was really nice and gave really good suggestions. When we got there at 6:30, they were still doing happy hour, so that was awesome because my Jack and Coke was $3 off. Probably why I had two... On to the food. Everything we had was tasty. We started with the Ceviche and the Calamari. I had never had ceviche before, but after having it last night, I wish it was something I could afford to eat all the time! It had scallops, shrimp, fish, avocado, peppers, cilantro, and lime juice and was served with fresh and warm tortilla chips for dipping. It was so light and refreshing. The calamari was also excellent. It was perfectly cooked and not at all rubbery and came with a sweet and spicy Asian sauce for dipping that was really good as well. For my entree, I had the Pecan and Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout. It was a GINORMOUS piece of fish, coasted with a crispy, sweet, and salty breading and lightly pan fried. Then, it was topped with artichoke hearts, lots of fresh basil, and lemon butter sauce. It came with the vegetable of the day, which was this chickpea and spinach saute and then you get to choose one side, so I had the potatoes au gratin. My plate was completely clean by the end of the meal. 2 other people had the same thing I did, except with the garlic mashed potatoes, my boyfriend and his brother both got a special, which was Orange Roughy Picatta with shrimp and scallops with a white wine and caper sauce, and his brother's girlfriend had the Shrimp and Scallops meal with lemon butter sauce. They were all clean platers as well. I would definitely come back here, but next time, I am going to try the Bang Bang shrimp that everyone talks about. I know this place is a chain, but it really didn't feel like it. Everything was fresh and delicious and I will for sure be back.

I went here for the first time and I have to say it was a great first experience. The peach martini is wonderful. It is their signature drink. It has good balance of alcohol and a sweet taste...not too sweet. My bf ordered a classic mojito which tasted fresh but wasn't sweet enough. The bang bang shrimp is a must!! I loved every bite and savored every single one. It kinda reminds me of spicy mayo haha. But definitely order this! I ordered salmon with mango salsa which was fresh and cooked perfectly. I think if I had a different sauce maybe it would've been better, although good it didn't amaze me. The Chilean sea bass was a first time fish I've tried and it was so juicy and delicious without the use of sauce. Their garnish isn't something I'd order again, it is basically mixed vegetables like from the bag except fresh I guess. the mashed potatoes were delicious though. Other than that, I'd come back here again. The bang bang shrimp is what hooked me.

Not bad for fish in Ohio. I had tilapia imperial and it was pretty good. Wedge salad wasn't bad. Our service was pretty quick and the waitress was friendly.

My son and I went to Bonefish Grille today for a family birthday. We arrived a little earlier than the rest of our party and waited by the front entrance. No one approached us at all. After everyone arrived and was seated the wait staff was attentive and took our drink and appetizer orders. We ordered the calamari and the crab cakes. Our calamari was overcooked and rubbery. There was also a shrimp and a French fry on our plate. The crab cakes were ok. We ordered filet mignon and lobster tail for our main course. About ten minutes later the "chef" came out and informed us that they were out of filets. We were offered a ribeye cut down to filet size for the price of a filet or a full ribeye at the regular price. What? My son ordered his filet Oscar style. When we were offered the ribeye I reminded the chef of this he said "Everything will be the same except for the steak". Needless to say it did not come out Oscar style and when I informed our server she said she would bring the topping right out. My son finished his steak before it came. The best part of the meal was the creme brûlée and it wasn't the best I've ever had. And the bill for this fiasco was $118.00 without tip. Needless to say we won't be back.

I love this place. There isn't one thing I have ordered off the menu in a handful of trips that I haven't loved, but a few of the items that are my staples is what I would recommend. 1) Bang Bang Shrimp! O.M.G. Is this stuff amazing. I have talked myself out of trying it before, which was foolish. This is like the best stuff, anywhere, ever. Order it, lots of it. 2) Bang Bang Tacos... Amazing. See above. 3) Pork Chop - tried a bite of my wife's dish and it was not your average pork chop. It was really tender and juicy. This is a great happy hour or date night place. The only thing people need to know is its not a place you wanna go dressed in sweat pants & a t shirt, wear your work clothes or something semi casual.
