Honestly, I would rate it 2 stars but I do want this place to succeed. The problem is that it was empty and a little uncomfortable when I was in there. The decor was nice and the storefront is done VERY well. I will say this again before continuing....I want this place to succeed as I think their heart is in the right place with this one. - We arrived and were greeted by staff sitting in one of the booths apparently going through bills and whatnot for the establishment. Not a good way to start but I'm grown up enough to not judge based on something that arbitrary. - The lighting needs a little work. A little off-putting. Can't really elaborate more than that. - Ordered a bunch of wings and some fancy egg rolls. Egg rolls were out fairly timely, however pop/soda refill exchanges were uncomfortable for some reason. Felt like I was taking a homeless person's last can o beans or something. In short, the egg rolls were very yummy. Wings were overcooked (very), teriyaki ones were so drenched in the sauced that it oozed from everywhere.....gross. The other sauces were bottled-tasting. Nothing special to speak of here. The wings were sizable and maybe we just had bad luck with who was cooking them. In summary, I think with a little tweaking in the sauces, cooking the wings less, and a little mindfulness to lighting, sound (ambient), and getting comfortable serving people, this place could turn out as they were very friendly.
