This is a typical Starbucks in a strip mall like setting. I did not have any special experience here. It was more like a neutral experience. Baristas were overall pleasant people and happy to serve my tea. Will be coming here regularly because it is the closest place to my apartment in Cinci.

The baristas here are fantastic--I stop in frequently on my way to work. It can get pretty busy but it's a large location with lots of room. My only complaint is the parking situation. If you swing by between 8-9am there's a good chance parking will be a pain and the line will be long, but that's to be expected at any coffee shop. The parking lot in the area of Rookwood near Starbucks is very small, though, so it can get tricky at times.

I am a regular at this Starbucks for 3 reasons: it is open till 11pm each day, it has a good amount of seating space to get work done, and there is a good amount of eye candy passing by when you need a break... This is pretty much one of the only coffee shops in the area that is open so late. Otherwise, this Starbucks is pretty typical of the brand itself. Complaints:not enough outlets for those on their laptops, the AC is way too cold during the summer, the music is too loud and terrible most of the time, there is not enough parking. Favorite drinks so far: Caramel Brulee Latte, Vanilla Late, Caramel Macchiato, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Vanilla Spice Latte.

Not my favorite experience for a Starbucks the counter person was short with me and rude.. I want them to know what I want without having to repeat myself.. Not good at all.. Thank god my coffee is good

Early morning staff act put out having to serve you. Hey I am sorry about your career choice, but please pretend to care. I was in a rush the other day and when I got to work, I realized they had barely filled my cup. Just a really unpleasant morning manager. I'll find another location to get my fix.

I only give three stars because of the parking situation. It is terrible. This place is always packed. Other than that, you'll wait in line forever to get your drink. But it will be delicious!

Though the service and drinks are on par, the parking, and getting to the store itself are often a nightmare. Very limited parking, bad lot design, and constantly people who are in a rush, for whom you are in the way. I do not hang out in the shop, so atmosphere is nothing to note. Just the chore of getting a drink and getting out is all I care about, and this is what drags my rating down.

Parking here sucks at certain times of the day. So take my advice and ride your grandma. Leave her outside and chain her to one of the trash cans. Like parking it can be crowded inside, but the line does go by quick. It is very loud inside and is not a good place to have a skype conversation with your lover in another country that you have never meant. Who is prob boning her brother but whatev. The coffee itself is pretty ight. Its Starbucks so it has that darker toast. I have never tried any of the treats cuss I respect my body too much. Ohir needs my body at full strength so I can harness his power. You can usually find somewhere to sit or just sit outside and toss spelnda packets at your grandma.

There's no better way to start the day than with a cappuccino. Hot and fresh and served by loyal patrons. The customer service here is great and the drinks are always hot!

Spacious Starbucks but really hard to find parking. It's always such a struggle for me every time I go here. They have a nice out door seating area and lots of tables inside

I have no problem with the Starbucks brand, however, this location is just awful. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the staff there are unfriendly and have managed to mess up my simple orders, every single time... The other day, I stopped in to order a Venti Caramel Latte (that's it, nothing crazy) and the girl looked at me like I had 5 heads... I wasn't sure why until I received my order, which turned out to be a Frappuccino.... I couldn't muster enough energy to argue the difference between a latte, and a frapp to the barista, so I took the drink and left. (shaking head) I am still confused... How?? It is so simple... Every time they mess something up!!!

My first time trying coconut milk at any Starbucks was at this location! Amazing latte! Wish their pumpkin spice syrup was dairy-free though. Location is nice with parking all-around! Seating seems to be nice too! Good vibe overall!

It's confirmed. Complete ineptitude. I've ordered the same drink at three separate Starbucks across Cincinnati and each one has gotten it wrong. Venti Iced Coffee, Unsweetened, Light Ice. Literally this means black iced coffee, light on the ice. I'm not asking for an Orange Mocha Frappuccino!!!! (Jitter bug) You know I get all fatty and bloaty!! They get three stars because they at least had coffee, the Kroghetto Starbucks was too cray cray, and the lady at the register was nice.

Standard SBucks location. Don't count on grabbing a table here to study or get any work done. It's pretty crowded and relatively noisy but service is always quick!

Located in the Rookwood Pavillion next to GNC nutrition, The Wine Guy Bistro, TJ Maxx, etc. I only come here in the mornings. Every time I go, it's always packed and parking hasn't been really bad. Even though it is busy, the staff is super friendly and very quick at making my latte. The long lines move fast. I like this Starbucks because it's pretty big and spacious. There is also seating outside. My latte is always made the way I like.

Two considerations in my 4-star rating: 1. The amount of volume this store has in business is insane. Besides the Florence store, I don't think the tri-state has a busier Sbux. 2. Finding a seat at this place can be tough, but it's improved over the past couple years due to seating arrangement. Expect to wait about 5-10 minutes with the lines being long here. Expect to have to scope out a place to sit as well; this seems to be the place for self-employed, students, etc. (Nothing against those peeps - they just squat a lot, if you know what I mean). Parking here does kind of stink: I've only had to go to the adjacent parking lot once when I have meetings here, but often I have to find a place to park just like I have to find a place to sit inside, often waiting for a spot. Now, when the nice weather hits (or stays, as in Winter 2012), it's much easier to find a spot with the outside tables available...

I usually go to whole foods to get coffee but thought starbucks might be faster, turns out I was wrong. After I ordered I went to the counter to pick up my drink and the girl had no idea what I had ordered or what the girl before me had. She then made both of our drinks wrong. After she re-made my drink she plopped it on the counter and walked off. It tasted like it was supposed to but the service was not good at all.

Always crowded and busy. They play the music waaaaaay too loud at this Starbucks. It has the typical experience as lost but the service is always good. There are usually a number of interviews or professional meet-ups happening.

This is my favorite Starbucks. There is one girl that is usually there when I am and she knows exactly what to suggest for me! I'm not an actual coffee drinker...I like the flavored frozen drinks. I loved the coconut drink that they had this summer...of course, it was seasonal. She suggested some cinnamon-dolche thing...YES PLEASE!! Always busy, sometimes crowded, but the people come and go fairly regularly.

This is a study Starbucks. Pretty much any time it's open people are studying, and evenings usually prove a majority of people with noses in books and homework. You can't help but be productive yourself!

This Starbucks is always incredibly busy. Half the time I go to this location, the line is at the door, about 10-15 people deep. Frustrating, but I can deal with it if I feel they are doing everything possible to get the line moving. But, today, not so much. They had a worker standing by the end of the line giving samples of their Christmas blend while the line is about 15 people deep. Sorry, but use that worker in a way to move the line. I agree with the other reviewers about the music being loud. Definitely not a Starbucks to go to if you're looking to relax and chill over some coffee.

In every new city that I'm in, I find a new neighborhood Starbucks to love and to cherish. The Starbucks in Rookwood is my 2nd home away from home. First of all, it is a fairly large Starbucks which means there are lots of tables for studying. That is pretty ideal for any student who is going to stay there for hours on end. Second, it has great operating hours. I'm never here for opening, but they keep late hours. Sunday through Thursday, they're open until 11pm. Fridays and Saturdays, they're open until midnight. As a nocturnal student, this is pretty ideal for me. Third of all, I love the baristas here! They're (almost all) courteous and really enjoy customer service. That's not always the case across the board. And they love their work environment so much, they're here outside of their work hours! Fourth of all, it's not all overrun by students. This Starbucks is frequented by all kinds of people in the community, which provides an eclectic and less stressful environment to work in. Fifth, the employees don't care that you're here for hours and hours, and only get 1-2 drinks. Those are the best kind of people who don't judge you for your lack of movement or minimal consumption over the past 5-7 hours. Now for the cons: 1. Parking - it is so hard to find parking right in the part of Rookwood where Starbucks is situated. It's pretty much 50/50 that I will be parking in the lot right outside, and I tend to just go find a spot farther away instead of circling around like a vulture. 2. Internet speed - It's pretty slow, but it's still better than dial-up. And I ain't paying for it. 3. Number of outlets - I usually don't have a problem with securing a table near an outlet, but there have been a few occasions where I've come dangerously close to twiddling my thumbs while waiting for a table with an outlet to open up. I hate to let everyone in on this secret because I love studying here, but I can wax and wane about the wonderfulness of this Starbs for minutes on end.

Best Starbucks to do work. Comfortable, large tables, plenty of plugs. Now, there are a lot of things that can be super annoying about this location. It can get pretty loud and finding a table can be near impossible if you don't get there before the nightly onslaught of Xavier students. Also, parking is just hideous at Rookwood most of the time. Here's the thing, there is a tiny parking lot right by Starbucks. If it's busy, don't even bother there. Just park in the large part of the lot and hoof it over. I've never had a bad drink and the staff here isn't loud like other Starbucks around the Tri-State.

What can I say? It's a Starbucks. Specifically, it's a large, strip-mall, crowded Starbucks. At certain times of the day, you're going to wait at least 10-15 minutes to get your drink, and once you do, you won't have a table to sit at. But, the staff here are really friendly - one time when I dropped a completely full latte as I tried to pick it up (me = huge klutz), they made me a new one, free of charge. And there's a sweet spot between 1 and 3:30 pm where things quiet down and this is a pretty nice place to be, especially if you're someone who works well with headphones on in a noisy coffee shop, like me.

I walked in a morning before going to my work for getting a cup of coffee during the last days of December last year and I had a coupon from online. There was one barista who took my order and another who was doing the billing as such I handed the coupon to the second barista while she was ringing my bill. So she goes 'why do they ( Starbucks giving out coupons or customers ?? ) do this to us ' and makes a face and rings the coupon. Then while handing the bill back she says " from next time make sure you tell the barista you have a coupon" I say "I did" so she goes " yeah but after I rung you once " . There was absolutely No pause between her and first barista for me to do the giving of this info any faster and I walked out feeling discriminated and inappropriately judged or holding a discount coupon from a place I had bought coffee hundreds of times. That's the customer relationship Starbucks has !!!!
