The service is usually a little faster at this location versus 6th street. One huge complaint though, this Starbucks always charges me extra for soy milk in my plain coffee (we're talking about a tablespoon) and no other Starbucks I've ever been to - in Cincy or otherwise - has ever done that before. I probably just need to suck it up and walk the extra two blocks to another Starbucks

There's free wifi and a nice area to sit and watch downtown life pass by. It's not as fast as the Skywalk starbucks, but faster than the Vine St. one.I think this one has more seating than the other two though. It's also very convenient for people taking Metro or Tank. Beyond that, it's a Starbucks. If you've been to a few of them, then you pretty much know what to expect as this place really doesn't really differentiate itself from the corporate norm. Oh, and the staff is friendly, so don't worry about that.

Best downtown Starbucks, hands down. Free WiFi, quick service, outdoor seating area. But all in all, it's a Starbucks, nothing new.

This Starbucks is hidden!!!! Not really, just hard to see from the road. This location seems to cater to the day shift crowd of atrium one & two. Which is nice, the baristas already know most of the orders coming. Therefore they are faster then other Starbucks.

This Starbucks leaves out some of the typical reasons why I avoid the chain. They are nice, friendly and helpful. Not snobby, short or condescending. This place can also be busy at certain times of the day but they work through the line faster than any location I've ever seen.

I like Starbucks. No, I take that back, I love Starbucks. I know that several people say that the coffee tastes burnt or that the lattes are too sweet. I don't care. I think they're delicious. Based on the brand name alone, I'd go with five stars. But I've been to several locations that stand out; for good reasons and some that are not so good... This Starbucks just happens to be one of the best I've ever visited. This Starbucks location is right in the middle of several large businesses downtown. It is the sole Starbucks that hundreds of consumers frequent. With that being said, even if there is a line out the door, you can always get in and out quickly. For about a year and a half, I stopped in at this location every Monday-Friday around lunchtime. I honestly think my longest wait time was 10 minutes. The employees are awesome and they know each drink concoction like the back of their hand. They know when they have the time to be personable and chatty and when they need to be quick and polite. It's been over a year since I've been to this location (since I no longer work downtown) and I've been to more Starbucks locations than I can even begin to count. This location is by far the best of the best.

When did this secret magical Starbucks appear? I can't tell you how many times we've been nearly hit by cabs and ran over by mad moms in stollers while trying to push our way into the 401 Vine Street location. This place is such a refreshing change of pace! First off it's located in a tucked away corner of the city in the bottom of a giant building that is barely marked. I have been passed here a million times and never ever knew it was here. But once you FIND it, the fun begins. Free wifi, it's clean and quiet with open tables for a change. And there is a very friendly staff that actually wants to be there. I have to say I was seriously impressed and will definitely return. Avoid beating the "10 minute meter," getting hit by cabs, and punching screaming children at the other location and come here instead.

This was a fabulous Starbucks. Nice atmosphere, comfortable seating, friendly and quick staff. It gets 4 stars as opposed to 5 because it doesn't have a bathroom. That said, it has a cute outside seating area, and is in a very convenient location!
