Working in the plaza right behind Sonic at Best Buy, I've been here many times. And I remember when it was being built, our entire store was pumped and couldn't wait for it to open. 1. Breakfast- They serve breakfast ALL DAY LONG, and that's a good thing, I'm not complaining. Plenty of times, and I'm sure a lot of you agree, breakfast sounds good for lunch, even dinner. Perkins, IHOP, Bob Evans, they all serve breakfast all day so it's nice to have a quick inexpensive option should you get the hankering for it. My favorite is the sausage breakfast burrito, easy on the wallet, and it satisfies my stomach. 2. Happy Hour- Sonic has it's Happy Hour from 2pm-4pm every day. Half price drinks, and unfortunately Sonic does not serve alcohol :( which is a bummer, but I love this stuff too! My favorite is the Cherry Limeaide...a close second would be the Cherry Creamslush but unfortunately that is excluded from the half price deal. There are plenty of options here, for quick food, it's easy on my wallet, plus it's the nearest place so I don't have to drive to the other side of Eastgate during lunch. The drink possibilities are endless, and the food is solid- complement that with fast, friendly service and you have my friends, Sonic Eastgate. Try it out sometime if you haven't...

What an awesome idea!! 2p-4p!! everyday!! i can get my cherry-limeaid low cal for pennies on the dollar!! or even a fruity icecream treat! 3. Service is fast and courteous and friendly! especially here at eastgate. 4. you are easy on my pocket book!

Ok, I am officially the dutchess here, and for good reason. I could probably feed a small country for what I spend here per week on their fantastical drinks. In order to be most fair, and do this review in the most objective was possible, I started at 5 stars for the drinks, then deducted a star for the food quality and service. First of all, their drinks. Wow... I can't even list all the drinks that I love at Sonic! If you are doing a low sugar/calorie/carb diet you have several choices, not your typical diet coke and that's it. If you are not watching calories, your options are practically limitless. I love the slushies made with real fruit juice, the limeades, and the cream slushes. There are so many flavor combinations, you can have whatever your heart desires! Now onto the bad. Their food is just not good. Their sandwiches are all either overly greasy or completely bland. If you want a light bite to go with your drink, I do recommend their tator tots. They are always crispy and overly salted (which makes for a great contrast with the sweet drink). The service is questionable. I have been here many times and have had service at both ends of the spectrum. However, consistency is key! Went one night 15 minutes before they closed, and no one answered the speaker when I pulled up. I pulled up to the window to see a room full of teenagers joking and playing around, and no one would make eye contact. I was really irritated at that. All in all, I enjoy their delicious treats, but go elsewhere for food.

"Happy Hour" is the best. A great price for awesome slushies or shakes. The line tends to be long during the happy hour times but it seems worth the wait. The menu is extensive and that is awesome. I went to this location the week it opened and was not impressed it has been years since Ive returned just recently and because of the menu revamp and prices, I will continue to return. I did have an incident with a gross shake but im hoping it was isolated.

What's not to like? Quick service, tasty junk food and cheap prices...It's a guilty pleasure of mine! Love adding strawberry or lime to my Coke, the tots and the breakfast burritos ...

This is the first time we have eaten at Sonic. They make a great hamburger. We are looking forward to trying the other items on their menu.

I've eaten from the drive-thru here several times, but recently I experienced some fantastic service. The girl working the drive-thru box punched in my order incorrectly. When I picked up my food, I told the man at the window I ordered a different size than what I was served. He apologized, and without hesitation, corrected the error without an additional charge. It didn't matter that there were six cars in line behind me, or that I only ordered $1.00's worth of food. More fast food places should learn from this young man's example: take care of the customer!

I don't go to Sonic all that often, partly because there aren't any locations all that close to where I live (they seem to be allergic to the city and closer suburbs), but when I do, it's a great departure from the hustled, cheapy fast-food crowd of arches, pig-tails, crowns, bells, and top hats. Could be that Sonic is all-about the drive-in: rather than having to wait in a line at the drive-thru (which they do have) or go into a decent dining room (they do have an outdoor seating area). It's nice to get a chance to shut off the car engine, and take a moment to peruse the menu, and call for the car hop when you're ready. Probably my favorite feature of the ordering stall is the credit card reader built-in, so the host(ess) doesn't have to deal with payment. I ordered the double cheeseburger, with tater tots, and cherry-flavored Diet Coke. Probably my other beef was that the hostess forgot my straw... But otherwise there's a good deal to check out at Sonic!

If I didn't have to eat in my car, I'd never eat at any other fast food restaurant, except may Roney's (used to be Roy Rogers). The food is all very good, and the hot dogs - after you've had a Sonic Wholly Guacamole Dog for 2.79 you'll feel totally ripped off when one of the trendy new dog places charges you twice that for sometimes lesser food. Add to that the limeades, shakes, etc etc, you could have a very different meal every time you came. But I HATE eating in my car. It makes my car smell like whatever I ate for days. OH well, I'd probably get too fat eating lunch here as often as I'd like anyway.
