Look, I don't want to be negative, but this location is a mess. At least half of the time the order in incorrect, there is absolutely no organization or efficiency, and management is seemingly non-existent. During a rush people mill about like confused cattle, not knowing which line is open or which line to get in to order. Despite there being at least 7 people working most of the time, the lines move slowly and they manage to screw up even something so simple as a caesar salad (like, 5 different times they've done this). There is also no consistency as far as the food; you may get hummus in a small container one day and 6 pounds of it slathered on your salad on the next. I like Panera because it's a go-to for quick, affordable, healthy food. This location, however, is an exercise in cluster-fuckery. Avoid it at all costs and hit the Deerfield location instead.

This is a great Panera location, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The food is the same as all Panera locations obviously, but the experience here is better than some locations. Convenient location and helpful staff make the difference!

Over the summer I went here every day that I worked, which was seven days a week. No, really. Every day for two months, two and a half months. There's enough options that my rotation kept me from getting sick of it, and all of it was amazing. That's the kind of place this is. If you're looking for a fast, cheap, healthy alternative, then--well, then you probably already know about Panera Bread. But hey, here's another one! And it's as good as all the others! Seriously, though, the people here are consistently friendly, the place is always clean, and though it gets a little hectic around 12pm-2pm, you never have to wait that long. Plus, have I mentioned the food is amazing? The tomato and black bean soups are the best, along with the classic salad. The sandwiches, well, they're pretty interchangeable, but they're still good nevertheless. I don't even bother to get the specialty items; with that lunch combo there are still enough basic options that I may as well save some money (which, seven days a week, really adds up) and get something just as good. But feel free to experiment; I've never had a bad meal there. Only once in a while have I gotten something from their actual bakery, but it was always fantastic, and I've heard nothing but good things from other people who shop there.

I really wish we had Panera in Phoenix. Especially one like this. It's always busy and the perfect place for a laid back lunch with friends. Especially if you can get a spot by the fireplace in winter. So cozy! If you've ever been to a Panera then you won't be surprised by the menu. But if you haven't, expect fresh sandwiches, soups, and baked goods. I tried their mac and cheese on my recent visit and it was a cup of creamy deliciousness (and yes, I realize that sounds rather perverted). I've never had anything bad here, but you should be prepared to spend some money. For being an order-at-the-counter place, it is not cheap. Either way, it's worth it for a tasty sandwich. Thanks for the eats, Panera, and come to Phoenix...Paradise Bakery just doesn't compare.

This is a great location. Been in several times over the past few years and the service has always been friendly. Picked up bagels and coffee for my office, and the woman in charge of catering at this location is the NICEST. I mentioned while I was waiting how good their Breakfast Souffles are and she gave me one on the house! Soup and sammies are just as good as you'll get in any Panera. Parking situation leaves A LOT to be desired. We have actually driven here to get coffee or breakfast and ended up elsewhere because there is no parking. Forget about it if you show up between 12-1! Word to the wise- if you are coming in for the wifi between the hours of 11-2 you are limited to ONE 30 minute session- this is NOT the place to come camp out. You can pick up Starbucks' wifi but signal is bad and cuts out. Better to make this a place to come eat lunch than to work on your computer and hang out. Could tell manager on duty was a little peeved that I was there more than 2 hours (came up twice - once to order coffee once to order soup for lunch) but wasn't unfriendly... just got the feeling he wasn't pleased I was "camping" which I get.

Sweet baby Jesus... I def have a love hate relationship with panera. This location is horribly managed. From how they handle the lines when it's busy to the workers not having a set job to move the customers through faster. I seem to find myself eating dinner around 8pm ish. I call it the witching hour. Because all the employees seem more worried about closing then helping the few customers they have towards the end of the night. They are horrily slow. If you get your order right it's a miracle. I don't know how many times I have had my chicken ceaser salad screwed up ! Yep, you heard me. I love the food when I get it right but come on.

At 6:30 in the morning. The staff is surprisingly alert friendly and helpful. I tip my hat to you, Miranda. You are a master of the slicer and the register. All with a friendly smile that brings the morning up a touch.

Service was horrible! Lots of employees laughing and standing around. It took me 20 minutes to get 3 bagels. The store was not crowded... will choose another restaurant in the area next time!

This restaurant is located near LA Fitness, TJ Maxx and other popular stores. It is very convenient to stop by here for a quick meal after a workout. I ordered Fuji Apple Chicken Salad during busy lunch hours. The waiting was expected. Mine came with no dressing. I went back and asked for it and the guy gave me two containers of the dressing. Clean place.

Chaotic experiences here. When I have an order, I don't care which kitchen it's being prepared. Put my order together and don't make me have to ask where the rest is. The model this restaurant is put together with creates chaos and confusion for guests as well as employees. And don't be out of basic stuff on a Saturday... I don't go here often because it's not worth the trouble. You want my business, make it hassle free and uncomplicated...and consistently so.

We've never really had a negative experience at any Panera. The food is fresh, the taste is great, prices are high, however, but they earn it. The atmosphere is very inviting except for the 'free WiFi" which only allows you to use it for 30 min during peak lunchtime and dinner hours. They don't want people hogging up space during their busiest times which makes sense but the 30 min applies even if the place is slow that day. Depending on the day it can be slower service but usually is not too bad. Our most recent visit the service was slow and most of the tables were dirty but it was the only time we'd seen it that way. It's almost always great there so I think it was just an off day for them. The kids love the food, there's great choices for all ages. Only gripe with kids is that the 'kids meals' are the same cost as an adult and drinks are not included. Either way the kids love going there but we don't go as often as we'd like because one meal can rack up a very large bill!

Panera... love hate relationship. Panera has indeed found an interesting marketing combination. It's the mobile office for road warrior business folks because of the free WiFi and sort of coffeeshop-ish asthetics. So much so that there's an underground term... "breadhead" that has emerged to describe the mobile workers spending their afternoons tucked away in a booth. Then there's the middle-aged guys who go to watch the hot mom's. It's the ogling joint for cougars and manthers to see and be seen. It's simply amazing to see the middle-aged fashion show and prance parade that goes on. I don't know which is better... the eye candy or the comedy show of watching other people enjoy the eye candy. As for the food... well... it's okay. I mean... decent salads and all. The bread is decent. The problem with the food has been the economic phenomenon of coupling price increases with shrinking proportions to create an exponential reduction in value sufficient to force me into taking a pass on spending any substantial money at Panera. I just can't get into the idea of a $12 lunch that includes a White Castle slider-sized sandwich and a dixie cup of chicken flavored water. In fact, the 1/2 and 1/2 I ordered today was only because of the graciousness of my business associate twisting my arm, and picking up the tab. And even he commented on the portion sizes starting to go from skimping to downright insulting. Some more pretentious folks might find appeal in that sort of thing... but I'll stick to paying for the cup and sucking down the free refills while the fishnet and heel-wearing momma's line the shareholder's pockets. But not until after their 1/2 hour internet access limit over lunch hour has ended.
