Every time I come here, they never disappoint! The staff is always super nice and more than willing to accommodate. A group of us came in for Cinco de Mayo, and some of us brought our dogs to sit on the patio. They brought us bowls of water for the pups and offered to refill our drinks instead of making us come inside. The food is always delicious and they are super speedy! I always get the beef tacos and guacamole. They always serve chips with meals and they have a great salsa bar to choose from.

I've been to this location a few times since it opened a few years ago. The food is pretty decent and I would consider it comparable to Qdoba in most ways. They do have a fresh salsa bar which I never indulge in so I won't go even further on that. I usually order the same thing from Lime: Not Yo Mama's Nachos. I did recently decide to venture out and try the taco salad which was very big and came with sour cream AND "spicy" ranch dressing. The dressing was good but not spicy at all. My biggest issue with this place is that every time I order i request that there not be beans on ANYTHING. No black bean salsa on my salad, no beans on my nachos. PLEASE! And literally everything single time what do I find hiding in my food? BEANS! Besides this consistent mistake on their part, I will every so often find myself here glancing at the menu and ordering the same thing. The place is clean, the staff is generally friendly, and it usually satisfies my cravings for Mexican food.

This is perfectly serviceable, but that's it. I wasn't very impressed by the menu. With the exception of 2 or 3 menu items, chicken and ground beef were the only meat options. The veggie choices left a lot to be desired as well. Overall, a very boring menu. I had trouble deciding because it all seemed the same. After I finally chose something, I found that the food was pretty dry and bland. I don't really have anything more to say about it. It wasn't terrible, but it was far from memorable. The salsa bar was a cute touch, but I wasn't intrigued enough by any of the flavors to try them out. In all honesty, I don't think I'll be back. I live much closer to Habanero, which offers a dynamic menu and flavorful entrees, and Lime did nothing to entice me to go the extra distance.

I thought this place would be a quick lunch spot.... My experience boils down to over priced tacos, cold food, and super slow service. Took about 25 minutes to wait in line to order and actually get our food. Which makes no sense to me since the chicken is pre made....

Possibly one of the worst tacos I've ever had. DO NOT GET THE FISH TACOS! Tortilla were cold, dry and tasted like they were 2 years old. Fish was okay at best. Chicken fajita was decent. My advice, save your money and go to Taco Bell down the street. For $3.50 a taco, I would much rather go to Bakersfield, cancun or any other Mexican places around Cincinnati. RIP OFF!!!

What a cool place to enjoy a little bit of Mexico just the name "Lime" is intriguing. It's located in a good spot in Clifton great seating & very spacious inside the restaurant. From the time we entered we were greeted very nicely. I ordered the chix quesadillas Umm good they have several different styles black beans, sour cream etc. my friend ordered fish tacos they were piping hot made to order. There is a salsa and sauce bar & bottomless nachos. We enjoyed it and will return.

Best quick Mexican by UC. I end up eating here way to often, because it is good food quick. There was one time where my ticket was super slow, and then messed up my order. They made sure to correct everything and accommodate me the best they could. Jenna is a great worker, and did everything she could to help the GM.

Unfortunately, they took out the "skinny" options on their menu. Apparently the demand was not enough :/

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
