We had been here before to grab a bite to eat before a Reds game and had felt that the food was good and that the prices including the drink prices were reasonable. This was not the case before the All Star Game! I understand the limited menu when expecting large crowds over several days but the price gouging was incredible! We ate at several other restaurants over the All Star weekend and none of them had raised their prices for the game. I drank my $6 bottled beer (which I was originally told was $5) and left. It was much less expensive to eat in the stadium!

On the Saturday of a Reds/Indians game they severely understaffed themselves. Just 2 bartenders in the entire bar, the closed the kitchen at 5:30 in the evening and there were no wait staff outside. No with many more options near the ballpark there is no reason to waste time at the In Between.

The worst customer service I have ever encountered. I sat for 30 minutes at the outside patio while the waitress walked by me three times. Never coming back here again.

Terrible. I've been here a few times during the work week because it's close and convnient and coworkers have suggested it. All chicken products I have tried have been dry, grissly and clearly frozen. The cheeseburgers are better at a fastfood resturant. They're thin, dry and look like a burnt pancake. The fries, which do not come with sandwiches, are below average too. They are bland, usually cold and soggy. They put parsley on top in an attempt to make them appetizing and add flavor because they lack it all together. Overall, I'd say this is pretty bad. If someone wants to go there, I'd recommend somewhere else. I'd rather go to Wendy's across the street for a better burger/fires combo that's half the price.

The bar had an ok selection of beers on tap, the biggest draw is that it's not crowded, and you can walk in and get to the bar for a beer, without a two hour wait. Close to downtown, and the US Bank Arena. The prices were ok for a couple if pints, and the staff was really friendly.

I wouldn't call this place "seedy" as mentioned in other reviews. It's just a neighborhood bar and doesn't pretend to be anything else. We stopped in last weekend on the advice of some valet parking guys and it was just fine. Bar food....typical beer....but really nice service and we were able to visit without screaming over a crowd. It was also squeaky clean...I always appreciate that. Thought there would be more to do in downtown Cincinnati, especially on a game weekend. We managed nicely, though.

I can't say I've ever ordered food here but their mixed drinks are marginal at best. Their prices are a little high for what you could get somewhere else (i.e., go to Scene if you're around there) but if you're going to a game, you can't get much cheaper and be any closer to the stadium. I complain and yet I find myself here way too much....inexplicable.

Now if you desired seedy dive bar that has a credit card minimum close to the stadium so you can eat sub-par food and have some drinks before the game, then this is right up your alley. Sometimes you are just in the mood for that. Otherwise, this local jam is definitely not the "cat's pajamas" in the upscale sense. You know locals come here regularly for their drink of choice and unless it's game day, that's all you are going to get. The staff was nice and welcoming. They do not offer any draft beer, only bottles and their selection is pretty standard domestics with a few random local brews. They do have a credit card minimum of $20, so be prepared if you don't have cash to pick up some drinks for someone or do some work. I did not try any of their food available, but it seemed fairly priced across the board. They do have a nice outside area to relax in the sun on a nice day and plenty of seating inside in case of rain/snow.

I have been here for lunch a few times, and it is decent. They have good food (not great), but they are a little expensive. I always have a salad, and it costs almost $9.00. If I am going to pay that much for a salad then I want it to be an awesome one! The check out process takes a while because you have to take your check to the register (at the bar), and sometimes it can take a while to finally pay. All in all, they have decent food, but they are a bit pricey.

I created an account just so I could rate this place... I am so disappointed in IBT. Used to come here all the time, for good food and cheap drinks. There was a large group of us today, and I thought the bill included gratuity... It did not. Imagine the surprise of myself and my coworkers upon discovering that a beer (domestic and Corona) was 6 bucks. 10 for a margarita. I can only imagine the manager is upping prices in an attempt to stay in business due to increased competition across the street. To whom it may concern: that's not going to work. Take a play from O'Malley's. $10 buckets, good food, and an excellent beer selection.

Went for work lunch outing. taco salad was very tasty and the service was good. The beer selection is terrible, - all Budweiser stuff and a sam adams - but they do charge craft beer prices, so at least they've got that going for them. 6 dollars for a corona, 8 dollars for a pint of sam adams summer. you'd be much better off heading elsewhere.

For being one of the only places open on a Sunday in downtown Cincinnati, this was a good option. It was very typical "bar food" so I am not sure why they only have 3 1/2 stars on here because our experience was very good. We didn't expect a whole lot going in so maybe that altered our experience as it exceeded expectations. It is not a fancy place by any means and the service was great. If you were going to a baseball game, this would be my choice for food to keep from spending $9 on a hot dog inside the stadium!

Stopped by In Between Tavern meeting a friend before the Muse concert. Cold winter night and the tavern wasn't very full, I know most of their business is during the Reds season due to their location across Ft Washington Way to the stadium. I was looking for a local beer, but the closest I was able to enjoy which is from PA Yuengling. I was also hungry, so had a chicken fiesta burrito with fries. Food arrived quickly, burrito was filling, but fries were not good. We were ready to go to the show, so paid our bill & were on our way. If you're in the area, head over to the Banks or up to Fountain Square instead for better food, local beers.

Came here before a Reds game, my buddy had been here before and warned of overpriced drinks and beer being served in a plastic cup. Well he was right, we had time to kill before the game and so we walked into the In Between Tavern. We sat down right at the bar and waited around five minutes since the bartender was helping other patrons. We asked if they had a happy hour and the response was "No". I ordered a Sam Adams and my friend got a Captin and Diet. My Sam Adams was served in a clear plastic cup and every one knows Sam Adams is best served in a Sam Adams glass. My friend's drink was also served in a plastic cup. I would not stop in here again before a game.

THE only reason to go here is the reds game, right? For that, well yeah!

NEVER AGAIN! The only thing this place has going for it is location. $5 beer (outside the park for cry'in out loud) and sweet-n-sour wings that THEY call "BBQ".

If I would have known what I know now, we would have never went to this place. My biggest problem is they wont serve water. They will only sell bottled water. Really? Talk about lack of consideration for your customers who have been out in the sun all afternoon at the game (FYI...Reds beat the Cards). We went to this bar to catch the end of the Women's World Cup Final because it was close to the Reds stadium. Don't go to this bar if you want to watch a sporting event on TV. On the patio they have 3 TVs. Sounds good, right? WRONG! They are 30'' screens. They are tiny. Owners seem to have put zero money into this bar, and it appeared that people already knew this as there was not many people there. If I have my way, I will never visit this place again. Don't get suckered into the location of this place. Keep walking and find a bar where the customer is appreciated!
