If zero stars was an option, I would have chosen zero stars. I group of friends and I visited this IHOP location yesterday evening following a round of bowling. It was possibly the worst dining experience I've had in close to ten years. We we're seated right away, and greeted fairly quickly by our server. She promptly took our drink order, returned with drinks, and took our groups food order. From this point forward the visit was a joke. We sat waiting patiently for over an hour for our food to arrive. After an hour without refills, I inquired as to whether our food was close to ready and was informed by our server that it had "just come up in the window." She brought pitchers of beverages to our table in what seemed like an effort to appease us without having to actually attend to us. It was close to 15 mins more before we would receive that food. By the time it did arrive, it was mostly cold or drained of life by the food warmers. Eggs and breads were hard, and cheeses and sauces were ruined. Additionally half of the table didn't receive their whole order at the same time, and the other had incorrect items. I asked for the server to get the manager but no one came to address our concerns. 15 minutes went by so I walked to the kitchen to speak with him directly. He first offered me a 20% discount, and I told him he should ask the rest of our party how their meals were before he decide how to make things right. Upon finally visiting our table just short of two hours into our visit, he determined he would comp the whole bill. When it comes to casual dining restaurants with table service, I really don't expect a lot. I do expect that the food is at least as advertised, a decent value, and at the very least warm and edible. I also expect that refills are offered and in a relatively timely manner. I don't think this is too much to ask. I will probably visit an IHOP in the future. But until this location is under new management, I'll choose another location.

I know, it's IHOP, what can you expect, right? The food was so greasy, so covered in butter and drenched in sauce, it was way too much for me. I really could only manage a couple of bites of each dish, and each bite from the far outside edge where there was a little less butter/sauce. I even gave it a second try. I went back with some friends after a long night shift at work and you know food options are limited at 3am. The place was fairly crowded with the post-clubbing/bar hopping crowd. The food was still just as greasy and unimpressive. The parking lot had several police cars... I'm not sure if that makes me feel safe and protected or in danger. Well, at least our waiter was very friendly. ----------------------------------- Explanation of my rating system - 5*: Epitome of something, the best I've had, would LOVE to go back 4*: Great food and happy to go back regularly, but not the best of the category 3*: Food is fine. I may spontaneously decide to go there based on convenience. But no need to go back either. 2*: If you insist, I guess I'll come along. I'll find something to eat. But I wouldn't have picked it. 1*: No plans to come back. I'll try to talk companions out of going.

I read the reviews before coming in, and knew I was in for a bit of a wait to get my food. This is crazy. We waited for 30 min from when we ordered. We didn't order anything that takes particularly long, and there were only 8 other tables that already had their food when we got there. We just paid out when the food finally came because we were in a hurry. Our server was standing right there watching my boyfriend write her tip!! AWKWARD. My eggs were sub par, as were the hash browns. They both had the same taste of stale oil... As if the flattop hadn't been cleaned in a while. Definitely evident on my boyfriend's beyond-burnt omlette. We're not pleased. Definitely not coming back to this location.

Horrrrrrible service.....even with no one in the restaurant. Second time in this location and both times have been terrible.

Horrible service every time! Quoted us a 15 minute wait and it was 30min later and we left. I have made complaints with the store manager and I have received free meals but they make no effort to get better or hire better help! I don't know why I keep trying to give this IHOP a chance.....

Molly (our server) was super sweet and apologetic. This location is now under new Management. Expect to receive smaller portions as the new Manager Don is more concerned about the cost of a hash browns being more than an order of 2 eggs being substituted and won't make substitutions. Shame - they just lost a couple that ate there 2-3 times a week because they're cheap. Shame!!!

Our waitress literally (no exaggeration) full on yelled at my boyfriend. Not only did she not allow him to get his french toast without the caramel syrup, but yelled at him for wanting it different than how it is typically served. Her name was Vaya S., I got from my receipt. We will be contacting corporate.

My family is a fan of IHOP. We frequent the Milford location often. Entering this location, my spidey senses went straight up when I was told (after asking) it would be about a 10 minute wait. That was confusing since it was clear there were several open tables and booths. My thought is the two girls working at the front counter needed 10 more minutes to finish their chat. After being seated, no one waited on us. After 15 minutes of waiting, I asked a buser if we could please have a waiter. Another 3 minutes and finally our waiter comes to take our order. Since we had not even given our drink orders, this was a little aggrevating. 10 min. after giving our drink orders, we had to ask our sever for our drinks!! WHY DID WE NOT GET UP AND LEAVE?!?! UGH!! Needless to say, receiving our food was not a timely easy task. Entering IHop @ 1:25pm and not getting out until 3:10- very little of that time was spent on eating. The manager did, however comp our bill, which was the right thing to do. In fact, I saw the manager comping several bills that day as service was NOT good!

If you are in the mood for cold food, terrible service, and an unprofessional staff then this place is for you! I wouldn't even bring my dog here to eat, the food was cold when it was brought out and our waiter brought our food out to 4 of my friends.....then 15 min later he brought the rest of the food out to my friends sitting across from me, we asked for the manager......however the manager never came out to speak with us.....this place sucks.

This place is disgusting! The waitresses are horrible...literally took 10 minutes to get a sprite...no one around us had their meals...and the waitress copped an attitude when we just walked out. Do not spend ur hard earned money at this floppy resturant!

Should have left after reading the reviews since it happened to me as well. Horrible service they took a long time to seat us with plenty of open tables. Food wasn't cooked well and also took a long time. To top it off the waitress who forgot everything also forgot to give back my credit card. Luckily I noticed while trying to buy tickets to cinemark so I wasn't too far from IHOP. Would never go back to this IHOP as it is horrible.

You know what you're in for when you go to IHOP. Let's just admit that right up front. IHOP sells calorie and fat laden food that is a balm for the drunken soul at 2am, and they sell ooey gooey pancake monstrosities full of sugar to leave your kids in a carb coma on a Sunday afternoon. Oakley's IHOP has never disappointed. There's great people watching, service is prompt, the food is reliably tasty, and... well, it's an IHOP. 'Again, you know what you're in for when you walk in, and this is the best kind of IHOP you can find: a consistent one.

Didn't even make it to a table before we decided to leave. They were about 30% full, the waiting room was packed, they were not seating people, and they were not busing tables. Also, people sitting at the tables were looking around as if they were waiting for their food, for their check or for their waiter to get to them...terrible service. We waited 45 min and in the time they didn't seat ANYONE and they were not busing tables...for a whole 45 min. That's disgusting. All of the dirty dishes and cups sitting there untouched for 45 min. Don't ever go to this IHOP!! Do yourself a favor and go down the road to rookwood pavilion and go to first watch.

Let me start by saying I come here every Sunday for lunch - I love the food it is always good and very reasonable on the Price. I will never leave a bad comment unless I know i need to tell ppl what I experienced !!!! I ordered a a stake that says it comes with bacon so I asked my waitress if I can remove the bacon and she said I'll make sure they'll be no bacon and I asked twice to be sure do to religion believes! !! When my food came out it had bacon on it so I asked the person who brought it out to me that I can't eat bacon who I believe was an assistant manger because she was wearing a black shirt unlike all the others , so she took the plate and 1 minute later she comes back with another steak but then I found out that the only took the bacon out of it and never made a new one for me--- so I told my waitress that the bacon is still on it and I was very upset that they lied to me and didn't make a new one even though she told me she made a new one. So I told my waitress I don't want this take anymore and I would like my check. I own my own restaurant and I know for sure if somebody complained I would make my effort and time to make sure the problem is resolved but today I never received an apology or even a little sorry about the mistake they made. The reason that I'm writing this review that hopefully the general manager reads it and resolve this kind of issues and be on top of the waitresses and the cooks

There was egg on the silverware, the waiter was very rude, but the food was ok. I just don't understand why people serve silverware with egg still on it. Won't be comming back.

Sometimes, all you really need is to go to IHOP at 2 in the morning. I came here with 5 other people one night (morning?). It was a group of high school friends and a reunion of sorts, and after our event, we wanted to keep the party going, so we came to IHOP to warm up and grab a bite to eat. I don't know how they managed to do it, but all the people working in the restaurant were upbeat and attentive for 2 in the morning. We were taken care of very well by our server, who was incredibly impressive. She took our orders without writing A SINGLE THING DOWN and remembered it all!! The only mistake she made was handing one person another person's drink, but still. That amazes me! The food was good, the hot chocolate warmed us up (with free refills!) and I had a good time catching up with friends. Since it was the middle of the night we weren't pressured to hurry up, eat, and leave, which I liked. Maybe I'll go back some time during the day!

LOVE the pancake selection! The first time I came here, I got the original pancakes so that I can taste it without all the toppings. Soon, I upgraded to other toppings. Highly recommended and my favorite is the strawberry. I like the selections of syrups and other breakfast items. Staff is friendly and service was great.

I'm never completely negative about a review from a dining experience, and even waited to write this one so I had a chance to cool off, but I'm still annoyed. I was taking a mentee here for a lunch after a movie at the nearby cinemas. They weren't busy at all. However, we walked in and there was no one to greet us. So we waited and were eventually taken to a table. There were kids unsupervised running around, and the staff seemed a bit unorganized. Our waitress took awhile to come to our table, so we ordered drinks and food together. My mentee ordered from the grilled cheese and fries from the kids menu and requested a hot chocolate. I ordered the peach French toast. Her hot chocolate came in a mug the size of a bowl. For a kid's drink I thought it was inappropriate. The food came after awhile and left a bit to be desired. My food was swimming in peach syrup as if poured from the can. When the bill came I was annoyed because they up-charged for my mentee getting the fries instead of fruit, then charged for a full specialty hot chocolate drink when the menu said one was included in her meal and hot chocolate was listed as an option. I inquired about it and asked the waitress to ask a manager. She said that both charges were correct and didn't take them off. She wasn't argumentative, but wasn't helpful either. We won't be returning. I would rather give business to all of the smaller and independent restaurants with much more interesting choices on their menu.

I came here last night with three other girlfriends. We were just winding down from a birthday party. The food was great, I love that IHOP also offers lunch and dinner options as well, so there was something for all of us. None of us felt out of place laughing and being our silly happy selves. In fact the waiter looked like he really enjoyed our company, he had a great sense of humor and kept in touch with us to let us know our wait times. Great place. I could recommend it. You know when you need IHOP.

I know it's a chain, but still going to review it because Yelp wants me to. Listen, I'm generally a shop local kind of girl. But I'm not going to lie, I LOVE IHOP. I don't think you can get better scrambled eggs anywhere, even my own kitchen--and I make amazing scrambled eggs. And their sirloin tips WITH the eggs? Divine. That's just how it is, people--IHOP makes me happy. As far as service...it's on and off. Once we had a really awesome server, another time we hardly saw our server at all. If you haven't been to IHOP in a few years, you should really go and try their scrambled eggs. Or if you are on a road trip, it's always a good option. I love breakfast (and breakfast for dinner!) and IHOP is consistent and usually open 24 hours!

Dependable--if sometimes dependable to be full of surprises. It's like a box of chocolates, er...pancakes.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. We were seated quickly and a hostess got our drinks. When our server finally arrived the only words he said to us were "You ready to order?" We ordered our food and waited for awhile. Finally a couple other guys brought out our food. I ordered crepes with fruit, granola, and yogurt on them along with bacon and eggs. My boyfriend ordered an omelette and cinnabon pancakes. His food was warm, my crepes were straight up cold and my sides were lukewarm. The "seasonal fruit" that came on my crepes consisted of a bunch of hard apple chunks, a couple grapes and a chunk or two of pineapple. It seemed like a joke. Our server never asked how our food was--in fact it practically seemed like he was ignoring us. He ran by later, dropping our check off without a word. As we left the restaurant we didn't get a "goodbye" or "thanks" or anything you would usually expect to hear when leaving an establishment in which you just spent some of your hard earned money. Nope--we got to hear about how one of the employees just got put on probation. I will probably never go back to Ihop again. At least not this one for sure.
