Service was terrible and food just meh. We had wings, pretzels, lunch meat hoagie, fajitas pizza, all were just okay. Difficult to get refills and waitress was terribly slow. Three stars because it was decorated nicely. Dewey's is ten times better.

Their pizzas are quite creative----different combinations of smoked meats, vegetables and sauces. You can order their signature pies or create one yourself. The staff was friendly and attentive to our party of 12. They also have a nice selection of craft beer, many local brews as well. I can't remember all of the types I tried, but remember the bacon and mushroom was very good. Only a few options for veggie eaters. Crust was very good.

Oh my goodness!! What a wonderful meal we had at Delicio's and our server Chris, who is also the manager, was an absolute delight! My granddaughter and I stopped in after a trip to buy graduation outfit and to get ideas for her dorm room, we were tired and hungry-boy did she pick the right spot!! We started with peppadew peppers stuffed with goat cheese, so simple, so delicious, we then had coal fired wings in the sweet chili pepper sauce...I kept trying to take pictures but we kept attacking the food to quickly!! The wings were just spicy enough with a wonderful sweet and spicy Asian inspired sauce which had a fantastic back note of lime, divine, and the char on the wings from the super heated coal fire oven...amazing! We couldn't decide so our pizza was half Santa fe and half carnitas (I did get a picture of that as Alanna shoveled it in!), the Santa fe was very good but OMG the carnitas was to die for! Obviously inspired by the Cubano sandwich, it was topped with silky braised pork and pickles... Yes pickles, wow!! So good! For dessert...Madisono's gelato topped with chocolate, graham crackers and charred marshmallows, sound familiar, it was delish, Thanx Chris! Last but not least, fight for every bit of charred crust or charred chicken skin or anything black and crusty, my friends that is not burned, that is huge flavor! Go! Get there as soon as you can!

Best pizza I've had in Ohio. Charred crust. Thin and light crust. Array of topping choices. After dinner, we had homemade ice cream pops from the Pop Shop next door delivered to our table. Almost makes me wish I lived in the Cinci area. Almost.

Finally hit up Delicio on a tuesday evening after putting off going there for far too long. Tuesdays also happen to be $10 serious pies night, which was nice. The four of us ordered two pizzas with each half consisting of a different pie. Pulcinella, Steak Fajita, Mac n cheese and Carnitas were what we ended up going with. The steak fajita was the clear winner for all of us. Really good, and it was interesting getting separate fajita toppings to put on the slices yourself. The carnitas was my least favorite, only because the pickles overpowered the rest of the ingredients. The pulcinella was good, but a tad too salty and oily for my taste. Service was fine, nothing outstanding but not lacking in any way. The space was pretty cool with a modern but just a little bit rustic feel. I would go back again but definitely try out some different pies along with the steak fajita.

So good! We didn't know what to expect after reading the reviews but decided to give it a try. We had the coal fired wings with the sweet chili sauce, the caesar salad, brezels and dip and a pizza half black and bleu and half meatball. Everything we had was excellent! We will be going back soon.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened. It looks very inviting as you drive past. Tonight we finally got a chance to stop in. The dining room is very tasteful but also casual enough to make you feel relaxed. My daughter ordered the spinach salad with warm bacon dressing & we shared a pepperoni pizza. Both were excellent! The first bite of pizza was so good; so flavorful. I never thought I'd find pizza in Cincinnati that I liked better than Dewey's but this might be it. I liked the coal fired crust, but I can imagine how it could go from really good to really bad if left in the oven too long. One thing I would like to see is a few more choices on the menu. I was hoping to order a calzone but, sadly, there were none. One piece of advice...that s'mores dessert? It is totally worth it! Don't leave without having it. YUMMMM!

My daughters and I visited on Spring Break. Our waiter was great. Custom made us vanilla cokes. The Breadzles were awesome. Pizza was great. Amazing looking store. Great time.

  • Taylor M.

I got the Bretzles and they were pretty bland tasting. The cheese dip was off the chain though. My waitress was really nice and attentive to my needs, and I believe the manager (or who I thought to be the manager) asked if I'd ever been there before and when I told him no he told me he hoped I enjoyed my time there. The pizza was way too cheesy. I only ate one piece. The only reason I'm giving this place two stars is because the staff was very friendly. The food, not really anything better than buying some frozen food and cooking it at home.

I had the green chili and it was pretty good. I also had the Santa Fe pizza which had great potential and the ingredients would have made a great combination but I don't think there was enough of them used which left the pizza a bit bland. My wife did share a regular pepperoni pizza which was quite tasty. The service was pretty good. Overall this was a good choice but I think there is room for improvement.

Overall, I give Delicio 4 stars. It would be 5 stars but we had a 1 hr wait for a group of 5. Though we were able to sit at the bar and hangout, so it wasn't a bad wait. The food was very good. Not a single complaint about anything. We had the bretzels w/dip & the stuffed peppers thing that for the life of me, I can't remember the name of. 4 of us got different pizzas and shared, while 1 member of our group got the wings(she's gluten free and loved that she had options). After stuffing ourselves with dinner we tried the s'mores gelato...so Good!!! You should definitely get it if you have the chance. Our waiter was helpful & even split up our appetizers & desserts w/o us asking. It was nice b/c so many places refuse to split apps on checks. Our group enjoyed trying a new place & we will be back again!

We stopped in here because of a Groupon we purchased. This place is small and very well put together, just like most places in Montgomery. We ordered their coal fired wings as an appetizer opting for the caramelized fajita mix on top. These were crispy and salty and very good EXCEPT they needed a dip of some sort. We also ordered the southwest green chili. This was more of a brothy soup than a chili. It was tasty but not something I would order again. And finally we ordered the Kokopelli pizza. The chorizo is very mild but a pleasing pizza. I find that I prefer most of the coal fired pizza I've had the next day after it has been refrigerated, but that's just me. Overall, a nice restaurant with good service. Food is pretty good and with the Groupon it's a great deal.

Wanted to like this place since it's close to home, but...not so much. We went in and it was pretty empty, though it was a weeknight. We were promptly seated and the waitress was very nice. Of all the booths/tables that were available, she seated us at one near the bathroom :o( and there seemed to be a musty odor going on - like a wet sponge :o( Thought the wine was over-priced for the amount you get. Though props for offering tastes of the beers before ordering. The salad was abysmal. Seemed like it was poured out of bag. Edges were brown on some pieces :o( The highlight was the pizza. It was good. Nice thin, crispy crust. If we came again, we would definitely order to go. Meh.

I really enjoyed the environment of this restaurant and the food definitely hit the spot. My wife and I had the carnitas pizza which had some great toppings on it but not enough meat. It has a cheese sauce and vegetables including pickles on it. I am a pickles fan but the pickle to carnita meat ratio was not up to par. It was lacking on the meat especially for the price. I would definitely go back and try something else but it is a little pricey if you are super hungry for pizza. One pizza is good for two people that aren't looking to come out stuffed. We also had the bretzels which are just breadsticks in the shape of pretzels. I still think they are over priced at 2 for 7.50. My bill was 24 bucks for a 12 inch pizza, 1 bretzel and a drink which is high in my opinion for an all the time pizza but for a speciality pizza and a different experience it is worth checking out.

Groupon = win for me, pizza = win for husband. Decor-wise, this place is really cute. Fresh and updated with an open kitchen prep area. Service was a little slow to begin with as we were waiting for several minutes to even put in our drink order. We were there in time for Happy Hour, so I started with a Prickly Pear Margarita, which was absolutely delicious. The pizza left a little something to be desired. On paper, they sound delicious and boast high-quality ingredients. We tried the Cheddar Mac and the California (without bacon). I found both to be a bit bland and the crust was a little too burned, although this could just be a byproduct of the coal oven cooking process. The pizzas just seem a little over-priced for what they are, and I didn't like the charred crust.

  • Raymond B.

Delicio is a unique and traditional take on pizza. The menu is small but of high quality. Although the coal fired oven makes for idiosyncratic flavors and textures, the quality of ingredients is incomparable to corporate pizza chains. The restaurant is small and close quartered however, attempts to accommodate the needs of guests or groups will always be made .Overall, Delicio is a great addition to downtown Montgomery.

The first time i went to the restaurant it was an interesting experience because you ordered off an ipad but they have since discontinued those for their inefficiency. I know the owner of the restaurant and hes a great guy who works really hard. I go to this restaurant all the time and i always have a friendly waiter. One negative is on the odd ocasion your pizza will taste kind of weird or unusual but 90% of the time it is delicious. They also have a gourmet ice cream pop shop now where you can add toppings and stuff to your ice cream pop. Overall a great restaurant and i would totally reccomend it.

I really don't know why this place only gets 3 stars average. Great pizza. Reminds me of Grimaldis in Texas, but tastier and better topping selection. Green chiles! On point. And the wings? Get out! Best wings I've had in Cincy by miles. Get the sweet chili sauce and prepare to get messy! We'll be back. I've dined in before and they also have a good craft selection. Had Madtree Galaxy High. Great for kids and I noticed they now have homemade pops for kids and also gelato. See pic.

Waiter was admittedly new, so that was a challenge. He wasn't familiar with some of the menu items and brought a friend a pizza when the Cubano sandwich was ordered. Nice selections of beer and pizza. Not much else for non meat eaters. Meat, meat, meat. I had the Pulcinella pizza and it was quite tasty, though a bit much for 1 person. I'd head to this spot again for a group outing. Nice atmosphere and vibe and friendly staff. Depending on where you sit, the layout is open so that you see your pizza being prepared and fired.

  • Younglan L.

The novelty of the place is the iPad menus that create for a self-service atmosphere. The wait staff doesn't come over the table too often, which is nice. The restaurant has plenty of space, but the bar is small. The wait can be a while, but there is a TV in the waiting/bar area. The bad thing about the bar area is that is is directly next to the door so any cold breeze is felt right away, and there is no seating while you wait unless you are at the bar. The pizza is okay but nothing exceptional. The coal fired pizza creates burned bits on the pizza but also a thin crust. The toppings available are plentiful and allows the customer the personalize their pizza. The wait staff is friendly, and there are a lot of other great food options on the menu aside from the pizza.

Coal fire pizza translates into burn pizza. The service was really slow and there was way to much burn spots on Pizza. I have had coal fire pizza in south jersey and they were never this way. The Margarita Pizza was nothing like other with the exception it was round. There was a few leafs of Basil and other then that I though it was a plain cheese pizza. It missed all the parts that make it special. We used a groupon for $20 off, ordered 2 pizzas and honestly it was barely OK. The crust that was not burn was good. We experienced a noise group, 3 'adults' and 2 children. The adults just talked louder to be heard over their kids. One of the parents yelled at the kids 'Do you hear me, get over here', I wanted to say We all heard you and are a little sick of it.

Here's a time when I wish that Yelp offered half ratings. This is really a 3.5. The highlights: -service was good. This is our second visit and we enjoyed our server both times. -the meatballs and brezels were excellent. -beer selection is outstanding. -pizza is just okay. It's edible, but Deweys clearly wins. -prices are a tad bit high. -despite being listed on the no wait app, the hostess had no clue. The manager said they weren't supposed to be on there.

  • Ron C.

Four adults. Three different pizzas. Meatball and bretzels appetizer. Two out of four liked the meatballs. One thought they were okay. One was unimpressed. Bretzels were just okay, except for the true bread lover in the group who found them lousy. No one found the pizza above average. Sauces were bland, pizza dough was too soft, and the wood-fired char neither added nor detracted. Fundamentally no taste difference when compared with fast-food pizzas. Average taste + above average price (against fast-food) = below average experience. Cannot recommend. Will not return.

Horrible service on a night when the restaurant was not nearly full. The waitress waited 45 minutes to tell us two of the entrees we ordered were not available - this is as she was delivering the other entrees to the table. She was slow to bring plates for pizza, which in turn got cold while we were waiting. Also failed to bring drinks when asked (you would think the profit from the bar would be a priority). Expressed disappointment to the manager, he apologized but made no effort to comp any of the meal. Won't be returning.

By far the worst pizza I have ever had. Not even close to being done in the middle. It had zero flavor. It was wet! It was so bad, they offered us a free pizza and we declined the offer. The waiter was very nice. The restaurant was very pretty. We started out with two salads that were pretty good. I had a local beer and my wife had a very skimpy glass of wine. When we got home there was a Little Caesars pizza that one of my kids brought home. It was pepperoni. I took a bite and thought, wow, Little Caesar's is not the worst pizza on the planet anymore.

Good pizza, Good wings, slow service. I was here for an hour total, only 20 minutes of which was I eating.

Pizza's were pretty good. Liked the taste and toppings. The service was decent. The only draw back... over-priced. It's pizza!! Lastly we entered the place was freezing so we decided to eat on their patio on a very warm evening. We were comfortable with that since there was an umbrella over us. That made it acceptable.

Overall: okay. We had a large party for a birthday party and wanted to make a reservation to ensure that our whole party would be seated. I even considered showing up early to hold a table. Fortunately it was not that crowded so the fact that reservations are not taken didn't end up mattering. I had a caesar salad and a slice of a mushroom and Calamata olive pizza which were both decent as was the pretzels with dip. Nothing out of the ordinary though. The open pizza station in the middle of the restaurant was kind of cool but apart from that the atmosphere was not very memorable in my opinion, and another member of our party agreed with me. Overall, if I'm going to get a "pricy" pizza I'd rather go to Dewey's.

  • Regina G.

We won't be back. The menu is very limited, and the food was over-priced. The greek-like salad was good and the Hawaiian pizza was ok, but my husband and I left unfulfilled. Really wish this place was better as it is in a great location, but it won't last. It doesn't look like they were planning on staying long either, because the decor and building materials are cheap.

Had a Groupon so we went. We ordered bretzels for an appetizer. Bland bread in the shape of pretzels. Ordered the pepperoni pizza. Didn't like the grease that laid in the center of each pepperoni slice on the pizza. Pizza tasted okay. I liked the crunchy, thin crust. Service was adequate.

No no no. Dined with 2 friends on Friday night. (I did not pick this place) Disappointed from the moment I sat down. My friend had grabbed a beer from the bar while she waited for our table, when I arrived she was sitting at our table and told me that nobody had been over to the table yet, within a few minutes our server Jake came over. He asked if we were all set with drinks, considering I had nothing to drink I ordered a beer and a water. My friend ordered wings with the sweet red chili sauce, they wings came out with the fajiat toppings instead. Would have told our server but we didnt see him until after I had to ask the hostess to find him. Pizza came out and it was ok. When our server came back over I told him that we were given the wrong wings, he did offer to have new wings brought out but we were already halfway done with our pizza. We really enjoyed the gelato/smores dessert though. In the end I had to ask the server to take the wings off the bill since they were wrong. overall we will not be back to this restaurant.

I went to Delicio Coal Fired Pizza for lunch. The restaurant itself is beautifully appointed. Large windows looking out onto Montgomery Road and across to the new little park and fountain The City of Montgomery has installed. The wait staff was attentive without hovering and gave great descriptions of the food and how the pizza was baked. We each got the Baby Wedge Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing. Everything was so fresh and tasteful! The salad was a generous portion of lettuce with creamy blue cheese dressing and real bacon bits. It could have been a meal in itself. But we needed to try the pizza and went with the Pepperoni Pizza. Delicio! The crust was just like I like it...think with a good amount of dough on the outer edge. Flavorful pepperoni and a nice blend of cheeses...Parmesan, Mozzarella, and Muenster! We'll definitely be back.

It pains me to have to update my review and downgrade my rating, because I was an earlier supporter of this place, but I finally see where many of the other reviews were coming from. My boyfriend and I stopped by for dinner the other night, and it was the first time we'd been back for a while. The iPad ordering option has been nixed, which is kind of a bummer because it was something unique about the place. We ordered pretzel knots (I think this is what they're called, but I honestly can't remember), Caesar salads and the Californian pizza. The salads were fine, but the knots tasted stale. When the pizza came out, the bottom near the crust was charred, basically burnt, but the middle of the pizza was incredibly undercooked and doughy. I'm not sure how this is possible, but it was pretty disappointing, especially considering the good experiences we've had previously. The service was lackluster. I wouldn't say that we'll never go back, but I think there are a lot of other restaurants in the area that we'd like to try before we'd give this one another shot.

Went after work on a Tuesday night, only about 3-4 other tables taken. Service was horrible from the moment we sat down. The salad I ordered for dinner came out before anything else, I asked for more dressing and it never came. My husbands chili came out after (I was almost finished) and it was cold. Server never came over to refill our drinks or ask how our food was. After another 15 min or so we took our pizza to go, we had had enough! Our entire bill was taken care of but we will NEVER go back! Assistant manager was very nice and apologetic but the damage was done! The server could have cared less! I'm guessing that's why the place was empty!

I give this place 2 years and it will be out of business. Nothing special. Asked for a MIXED GREEN salad - still got head 90% head lettuce. Pizza was blah. Sauce has no taste. Skip dough pretzels and just eat the extra crust around your pizza - same thing. We had a Groupon and it was still not worth it. Too many other places like it in the Montgomery area that are better. Service was good and place is neat inside.

I've been wanting to try this place out as soon as I read about it in the Enquirer, so tonight we did. This is a definite do-over. For us, the ipad at each table was a definite plus, but I can see that if you weren't used to them and didn't have anyone walk you through the process, it might not be. We placed our drink order first and very quickly someone brought out hubby's drink. However, there was no place on the ipad to ask for only water which is what I wanted. We did suggest to our server that it would be helpful to have that option and she agreed. There is a place on the ipad to call for your server should you need something or have a question. What a nice feature - often, service staff can be hovering over you to get your order or you can't find them when you need them. It was a surprise that there is only one size pizza to order - about 12 to 13 inches! In our case, for the two us it was just right. Just so you know, they serve a thin crust. The margherita pizza was very good and they put the basil leaves in the center pointing outward decoratively instead of willy nilly. Sometimes its the little things! We passed on their brezels which are their version of bread sticks only they are in the form of a pretzel. I find that if we have a good size bread stick we can't eat all of our pizza at other places. Besides the brezels, you could've ordered wings or a cheese plate accompanied with olives for a starter. There are also salads and sandwiches to choose from. The wait staff was timely in bringing us our drinks & plates as well as clearing them away afterwards. If you are in the mood for an alcoholic drink, there is quite an extensive collection - craft cocktails, beer cocktails, beer (both signature and bottled), red and white wine. Hubby got an Angry Orchard Hard Cider that was refreshing. Just cause I'm a nerd, I always look to see what the most expensive glass of wine is available - either a $12 Protea Chenin Blanc in the white or a $14 Biltmore Reserve Cabernet in the red. Once while I was playing with the ipad, our waitress came over to show us that on the homepage there are some games for playing if you or your children choose. There was Angry Birds, Temple and Half Brick. You could click and see what your bill is and pay it on the ipad while even adding your tip as one of the listed percentages or you could customize it. Plus there was an option to split the bill. The restrooms were clean, modern and very nicely decorated even though there is only one room each. In the men's room, hubs said that they were out of anything that would suffice to dry your hands! As an ending to our meal, we were given the options of s'mores & gelato, a root beer float or plain gelato which is what we opted for in the pistachio flavor. It was yummy and was just right since we shared it. Bottom line is we will definitely be going back again!

Very clean and nicely decorated. Friendly staff. Delicious food. I don't feel it's pricey at all. The Brezels and wings are to die for!!! Salads are fresh and tasty.

Glad I didn't let the mediocre reviews stop me from eating here. We were in town visiting relatives and came in here tonight for dinner. We started with craft beers and cocktails during a very short wait for a table. Upon being seated we had an order of the sweet chili chicken wings. While I thought they went too heavy on the sauce, they were still very enjoyable. Great change of pace from your typical fried wings and bleu cheese. (Sauce on the side may be the way to go.) We had four different pizzas between us. I sampled them all and can honestly say they were all great. Glad I had the chance to try such variety. I'm with the other reviewer regarding all the whining about burnt crust. They put raw dough in an oven that's 1200 degrees. You expect it to cook perfectly even? 95 percent of the crust was perfection. I was actually pleasantly surprised as some other wood-fired pizzas I've had at other restaurants have ended up a bit soggy, to ensure no dark spots. I'd much rather have a crispier crust. To each their own... After dinner, the kids gobbled up a couple of the S'mores desserts. Very tasty gelato added an interesting dynamic to the old standard. Apart from the service, which was kind of spotty, I'm glad we visited, and our hosts claimed they now have a new favorite pizza place. Enjoy!

Would have loved to try their food, but didn't have the chance because their service was so poor! After being seated on a not very busy Wednesday night, we sat and waited for our waiter or someone to acknowledge we were even there for probably 10 minutes. That was long enough... we got up and walked out. Upon exiting, the bartender and 2 other employees (wait staff perhaps?) were standing at the bar engaged in their own conversation while we walked out the door. We did get a "Thanks for coming." I would suggest they start the training prior that. I really love local establishments, but need to feel appreciated for walking in the door. We probably won't give them a second chance.

Absolutely AMAZING!!!!! Try the wings!!!! I loved the decor. The pizza was mouth watering and made to order. Excellent service and excellent price! I'll be back for sure.

SOOOOOO yummy. Plenty of options to cater any pizza lover's taste. They also have a decent selection of sandwiches, apps, and drinks. Rustic-chic feel inside. Knowledgeable and pleasant staff helped us narrow down our choices and didn't pressure us at all. Definitely our new favorite pizza place!

My wife and I have been looking for great pizza in the area since we moved from Chicago. As far as it goes in the Miami Valley, I'd say this is tops. Coal fire all the things. Creative pizza toppings and tastes amazing.

Great place for amazing wings, coal fired pizza and a good selection of draft beer. I love the the way coal fired pizza crust blackens up in places.

Been here several times. Love the pizza, love the wings, love the craft beer choices. Have never had any problems with service. In my family we're all big fans.

Delicio was a great experience for our family. We were seated immediately in a buzzing dining area where I did not see a bad table. Server was prompt and attentive all evening. Menu variety along with a great selection of beer ( Goose Island Oktoberfest!!!) was perfect. Our son got the Cheddar Mac pizza with Bacon which he raved about and I tried as well! My wife and I mixed two types on one pizza. This was very accommodating! The pizzas came perfectly cooked with crispy and crunchy crust just like you want from a fired pizza. Additionally Delicio is next to downtown Montgomery that is a great location for after dinner pubs or desserts!!!

Food was ok and price seemed reasonable. Service once seated was great but it took almost an hour to be seated despite watching people walk past us constantly and no one seated in their place. Two teenage hostesses did not leave their station or check in with guests who were waiting for tables. They did a lot of hugging each other and chatting with other staff though. We finally asked if our table would be ready soon and one walked away without a word. When we were seated ten minutes later there was trash on the floor by the table. I asked the hostess to clean it up and she walked away. I asked the other to find a manager and she walked away. Lack of courtesy and professionalism does not work with me. The food and table service was not good enough to make up for being forgotten and treated rudely. Or having a dirty table after waiting an hour. Ugh.

We had a fantastic meal at Delicio last night! The dining room is beautiful and the service was very attentive. I must admit, I was a bit nervous to try this restaurant based upon some negative reviews, however, I heard they had a new head chef Michael. He came through - the food was out of this world delicious! We started with a craft beer and then had the iceberg baby wedges salad and the California pizza along with a very creative dessert - the S'mores with gelato - we chose the raspberry gelato. The mini marshmallows were toasted to perfection and made the dessert special! I can't wait to go back to try some of the other pizzas they have on the menu. This restaurant will need a bigger location at some point soon as I will be back and plan on bringing lots of friends!

Seriously, the worst pizza I've ever ever had. This place isn't going to make it.

While the food was good (pizza and cheese plate), I've never had such awful service. Hostile server, had to ask for water and never refilled, plates not removed between courses, coffee not refilled, obviously very poor training and no sense of customer service. If these issues are not resolved, this restaurant will not survive. As other reviewers have said, no explanation of how the ipad worked, servers standing around; I will never go back.

Loved this place! Really enjoyed the flavor of the pizza ! Got 1\2 Hawaiian and 1\2 Carnitas along with a Greek salad. Everything flavorful And tasty! The flavor of the coal fired oven is delish! Good service and really relaxing inside! Had pistachio gelato for dessert and yum finally got the difference between ice cream and gelato!

Ate here twice and really wanted to like it. They had iPad's that you were supposed to use to order. I don't think this is a wise move, as I think people like to go to restaurants to be around people and escape from technology and some older people are uncomfortable using technology. The food was just okay. The pizza dough pretzel was basically pizza bread in the shape of a pretzel but it tasted very good once I dipped it in the marinara sauce. The pizza itself left a little bit to be desired. I have eaten at some amazing pizza places lately with wood fired ovens and all of them blow this restaurant away. I'm also not a huge fan of the vibe. This restaurant has the feel of a sports bar which I don't think is the atmosphere you are looking for if you are running a high end boutique pizza joint.

We came on a Sunday afternoons when it was slow. Service was friendly and prompt. Drinks: Italian Mojito was quite good. Sparkling Lemoncello was too sweet so we sent it back for another mojito. Food: Caesar salad was good. California pizza was not good. Crust was bland and coal fire did nothing to add flavor. Next time we want pizza we'll stick with Pomodori just down the street.

These negative reviews are ridiculous! I have been here several times and the food is always good. They cook most everything over coals....of course the food is going to have a smoky flavor and and come out a little "toasty." And complaining that the lights aren't dim enough? Give me a break! Some people need to get off their high horses and stop acting so pompous just because they're a customer. I've received nothing but excellent service and tasty food here. And no I'm not the manager nor do I know any of the employees personally. I'm just sick of crabby folks dragging businesses through the mud simply because of the "customer is always right" mentality and ridiculous expectations. End rant.

Nice atmosphere. Good service. Good coal fired food. If you like smokey flavor and don't mind a little char here and there (natural consequence of using a wood/coal fired oven) then you should love it.

Delicio was okay, not as exciting as I thought it would be. My husband and I had lunch there. The wings were good and the fajita pizza we had was okay. We had a groupon so it was a cheap lunch. Will I go back? Probably not, unless there's a coupon/groupon.

There were three people in my party, two of us had the eggplant pizza and agreed it was about the worst pizza we've ever had. Burnt garlic and too much of it and little splotches of cheese. Bland crust, we poured Parmesan on but it didn't help, there was also hardly any 'sauce' and the eggplant was thick and mushy and we were told it would be crispy. The third person had one w peppers and black olives and they didn't like theirs either. The service was mediocre and we had to ask for things two and three times. Won't be going back.

Lots of potential here...but they're still working out kinks, as you'd expect with a new restaurant. The pie was very good - not quite on par with A-Tavola (OTR) or Strong's (Newport) - but very good. Our server was very friendly though a bit slow and she never explained the iPad ordering system. I didn't know why the iPad sat on our table until I read the other Yelp reviews today. My only other complaint was that I'd like to see more local brew on tap. There were only 2 local breweries on tap. The others were solid craft beers from other cities, which is nice but I'd like to see local restaurants feature local beers more prominently. There's too many good breweries now in Cincinnati to have only two on tap. The atmosphere was nice - very true to the neighborhood and "Montgomery" feeling in my opinion. That's a good thing. Overall, Delicio is a great addition to the burgeoning pizza scene in Cincinnati. We've been tortured by LaRosa's for far too long. Thanks to Delicio, A-Tavola, Strong's, Dewey's, Pomadori and a few others for saving us!
