Cazadores is awesome! They have a really nice, covered patio with three tv's, a small outdoor bar, and ceiling fans. Much nicer than most of the patios I've seen at Mexican restaurants. They also have happy hour every day of the week until 8 pm. The margaritas are perfect, not too sweet and not overpowered with the taste of cheap tequila. My food was delicious! I got the pollo tlaxcala and it is super tasty. The menu is huge and vegetarian friendly also. I'm really glad we found this spot! Can't wait to come back again.

Let me start off by saying that this is by no means 'real' mexican food. If you're looking for your standard Americanized tex-mex style food with everything drenched in queso sauce, then this is the place for you. I went here for lunch with my coworkers, the service was good and the food came out very fast. I got one of the combo meals with a burrito, enchilada, and rice and beans. The food left me unimpressed. My refried beans had somewhat of a crust on them, like they'd been reheated multiple times. My burrito was absolutely drenched in queso sauce which I wish would have been in the description since I could definitely do without it, it was super greasy. The meat inside the enchilada and burrito was a little too salty for my taste to the point where I could barely finish half. If you're looking for a fast lunch and don't mind tons of queso sauce and crusty refried beans then you might like it here. I don't think I'll be back again unless it's for margaritas or a work happy hour.

There are a lot of things about this place that makes it your typical Mexican place. The amazing/suspiciously fast service. The hot lava temperature of the plates as they arrive to the table. The Margarita happy hour. The Spanish speaking staff. However, there are a few things that made this place in particular stand out. They have a cart they wheel to your table to make fresh guacamole tableside ($5). This was pretty cool. It reminded me of a Hibachi grill experience. Also, Cazadores menu has some pretty unique items on it (pineapple, feta). The prices are pretty standard for this type of place but I'll give this one an extra star for the extra cool additions they brought to a typical Mexican place.

This is your standard american-mexican restaurant. The menu is filled with burritos, tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, etc. Expect plenty of melted cheese, grease, and a side of rice and beans. They do have very fast and attentive service, so there is no worry about making it back to the office for your 1pm meeting. Trust me, you're better off getting your mexican fix at Chipotle.

Great Mexican restaurant! The Margaritas are great and the food is very good. They have a great taco salad as well! They bring out a mound of chips too!

This place was good. The service and decor both were sweet. We got chips and salsa - brilliant , with free RE-FILLS. I got the fish tacos - they were good, came with side of rice and beans. Ordered flan for dessert - was good, mark of a good mexican place.

Great guacamole made table side. They have the best sautéed vegetables that come with some of the dishes. Delish. zucchini tacos. Wow. Who knew.

Maybe it's just me, but ever since we moved here from New Mexico I haven't been able to find decent Mexican food. Till now. This place isn't perfect, but it's the best Mexican I've found in Anderson by far! Pretty sure we'll be coming here a lot. The street tacos were yummy, my husband had fajitas which were great and we had an amazing appetizer - something with shrimp, mushrooms and cheese. So good!

I really liked Cazadore's and, as it compares to similar "Mexican restaurants" in the area, I think it is slightly better than its competition. I tried this place out with a larger group (there were about 10 of us), so the service was not at all quick. I will say, though, that the Beef Chimichanga lunch (including rice, refried beans, sour cream, and guacamole salad) was just as delicious as it was inexpensive. One of my biggest complaints about Mexican restaurants is that they typically nickel and dime you for nearly everything (the fact that you have to pay for sour cream is ludicrous to me -- doesn't everyone want sour cream with his/her Mexican food?!), but with my meal being a mere $7, I thought it was a really good deal.

This place is pretty great if you go into it knowing what you're in for. The food isn't the best Mexican food I've ever eating, but the price is right and the consistency is there. I highly recommend the enchiladas with salsa verde. However, the best time to hit up Cazadores is happy hour M-F. They have a great deal on drinks and the best part is their FREE nacho bar. That's right! I believe between 3 and 7 pm is when they offer it and it's awesome. All you can eat chips, queso, beans, beef and a variety of salsas are completely free! You can actually make a meal out of it which means you have more money to spend on the margs. Definitely check it out.

Food is good, nothing stellar but it is better than most. It is expensive for how little you get.

Five for the food but the service sucked. Long wait to order, appetizer came two minutes before the food, long gaps to get a refill, and had to ask three times for extra napkins. Very poorly managed with a non uniformed kid working the register. Food was fresh and tasty. This is the second poor service incident do its back toEl Pueblo.

Terrible service, server barely took our order, dropped off half our food forgot the tortillas. He never came back to refill our drinks, and we had to go find him to get the dessert that came with our 3 course meal. Would not recommend.

Much improved food & service. Drink orders were served quickly with fresh warm chips & salsa. Fajitas & salad entree served to table at the same time! Fajitas were hot & tasty while the salad was crisp & fresh. Will return to try other menu items.

I visited this place at lunchtime. I had a tostada and hard taco and a cheese enchilada. When the tostada came, the tortilla was already wet mush from having absorbed the copious amount of grease from the grayish ground beef. I picked up the hard taco, and the bottom fell out- same issue. After I took one bite, there was a pool of greasy liquid in my plate. The greasy ground beef was grayish looking. Gross. The cheese enchilada was just blah- no flavor. The chips and salsa were good. Not going back. Also, my waiter was unfriendly and I had to get up from my seat to let him know it was time to order and he never did bring my check or check to see if I needed a refill in my drink or anything.

Bad service this evening. Server put our entrees down on the table, walked away and never came back. They were not busy either. Saw her hanging at the bar with other staff or causing a scene in the kitchen. Had to ask for check and was never checked on for refills etc.

The guacamole here is the best I've had in a long time. The have a guac-quesadilla which was generous and delicious. The service was very fast and there's a pretty al fresco patio. I'll be back when have a hankering for Mexican. Update after several visits: Besides having tasty food, this restaurant has a very happy and friendly staff. While attentive and helpful, in between the wait staff is smiling and laughing with each other which gives off a nice vibe to the place. Clearly they enjoy working at this place, something you don't find in many restaurants.

Lunch time can get packed. This tells you that Cazadores is the hot spot. Great variety of dish from beef, pork, chicken and vegetarian. FREE chips and salsa that they refill per request. My favorite lunch meal is the chicken salad. The chips and salsa is the perfect compliment to my chicken salad. When paying your bill can be a drag. You get in line and only one cashier is available.

It was just ok. The service was fabulous, the food just ok, and the margaritas just ok. Still searching for a local mexican place that uses fresh lime in their drinks... I was prepared to love it based on the reviews, but i actually prefer Taquera Mercado (sp) in Fairfield. I had the shrimp fajitas and the shrimp tasted funny, Rest of us had quesadillas and enchiladas, which were fine, but nothing fabulous. Portions are great, and chips are standard.

I am not happy to write this review however I think it is appropriate since it did actually happen. I arrived to the location, meeting my gal for dinner last night, who already had beer in hand. As you might imagine I waited for the server, and waited, and waited. I am not exaggerating, after a 10 minute wait no one asked me if I needed a water, came back to our table to ask if we were ready to order, or anything at all. Two individuals laughing amongst each other, telling jokes & enjoying life were deserted, not being served in any regard in a one fourth full restaurant. I only received a drink only after I walked to the bar. Waiting patiently another five minutes pass before anyone comes to our table and asks us any questions about ordering. After we ate our meal, which was delicious, I decided to pay. Once again we were written off as unimportant clients. I patiently stood at the front of the one fourth full restaurant only to have our female waitress and male cashier completely ignore us for another 5 minutes or so giggling and having a seemingly good time ,regardless of if it was apparent we were ready to go, seen by the fact we had jackets and scarfs on. Not a single word of acknowledgement of our presence waiting. Objectively speaking, that's rude. If you care only about being full then a 3 star rating is important yet in a business that services the client the aforementioned behaviors are unacceptable. Not acknowledging a table in a non busy time and quite honestly making the visit uncomfortable deems a negative rating however a one star will have to do. PLEASE DO NOT go to this restaurant. I am sure there are other businesses that actually care about their clients.

Pleasantly surprised. The place was empty, but the service was prompt, and the food was great. We had an enormous burrito and some enchiladas. Had plenty leftovers for another meal later that week. We'll definitely return.

Just finished a great meal!! I asked my server what he likes, and he recommended #144..a burrito with steak. Always trust the servers judgement about their favorites. Very tasty, very flavorful. The beer is cold, and flows freely. Much to my surprise, there was no one there!! Cinci people..WAKE UP! Give this place a try.

We went there on a Friday evening and had a great time. The sever was very friendly and the food was great. We ordered half pitcher of margarita which is quite value for money and then we ended up ordering a couple of more pitchers and got drunk and filled up on the free chips. Then when the food arrived, even though we were so full, because it was so good and hot, we ended up hogging all of it..

Standard Mexican fare, everything was very good. Between the 4 adults and one kid we had the carnitas, fajita quesadilla, taco salad, chicken salad, and kid's quesadilla. Staff was friendly, service was fast, and prices were reasonable. The standard salsa is actually fairly hot. My only complaint is that the whole restaurant had a smell of "dirty mop" (don't know how else to describe it) the entire time we were there, and it was a bit overwhelming and fairly unappetizing. Will have to try again the next time we're in town visiting family.

OMG I love this place! They actually use fresh, quality ingredients! And they actually make their food; and much of it seems to be made at the time you place your order! Imagine, a Mexican restaurant where they're actually chopping fresh vegetables and herbs in the kitchen! Some dishes even have zucchini, spinach, potatoes and squash in them. And I don't think I can even recall seeing any iceberg lettuce, just green leaf. The guacamole had freshly chopped onions and cilantro in it and was clearly house-made. My Sope de Pozole (see pic of soup) was unbelievably good, super clean tasting and again the ingredient were fresh. Enrique's Tacos are also fantastic. They're actually made with seasoned and grilled whole chicken breasts that appear as though Cazadore's has cooked them there (not just thawed a bag of frozen strips). Don't let the "feta" cheese on Enrique's Tacos scare you off, it's more of a queso fresco. And the tacos come with an very tasty broccoli slaw; again seems made fresh with just-chopped cilantro. My father absolutely loved what I think was called the Don Joaquin. The chicken was basically totally infused with bacon flavor, yum. I can't be certain but I think the mole sauce on my enchilada was also house-made; did not taste like it was out of a can at all. Not to mention the great 2 for 1 (beer, margaritas) drink specials that seem to always be going on. Plus, the place is spotlessly clean. I am so enthusiastic about this place that I forgo Rio Grande in Newport, KY where I live and drive all the way up to Cazadore's in Sharonville. SERIOUSLY, forget about all of those OTHER gross Mexican restaurants around town that just serve the same old nasty slop that's been sitting around in warming trays all day. Meat, beans and cheese that they just thaw or dump from a can and heat. Go to Cazadore's instead and eat some REAL food!!!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
